No 3

This fragrance reminds me of my childhood somehow. It feels youthful, playful and also pleasantly safe and cozy. It's a gorgeously well blended, soft cloud of sensual flowers, creamy vanilla and comforting balsamic notes. The bergamot brightens the composition with a bubbly and almost fizzy personality, and gives the balsamic depth of this scent an inner light, something that really adds to the youthful and playful aura of this fragrance. No.3 has that same stunning contrast between bright citrus and deep, sensual vanilla that Guerlain Shalimar has - but No.3 seems a lot more cheerful and carefree. This is such a positive, charming and optimistic creation. Wearing this feels like having a sweet and bubbly cheerleader by your side, always rooting for you and highlighting your kindness and positivity. After an hour or so on the skin the scent feels deeper, warmer and calmer. It's like a comforting hug of soft, balsamic rosiness. So pretty and cozy. Sillage starts off medium, and dries down to a softer medium. Longevity as 7-8 hours on my skin.

Vanilla, Iris, sandalwood and benzoin- four notes that are immensely popular in the perfume group I'm a member of. I've been trying to like those perfumes they talk about but the iris have been to cold and dry, the vanilla (and overall impression) too sweet, the sandalwood too sour. Harsh notes screaming for attention from all directions. With No 3, I finally understand the appeal of this type of perfumes, but it took the highest quality ingredients and a genius perfumer. It's a soft cloud of comfort. Perfectly blended, no candy sweetness, nothing hard, cold or sour, just beautiful. Edit Nov 17th 2017 My first winter with No 3, and it turned spicy/musky, vanilla still there. More carnal, grounded. Just as gorgeous, but gone is the soft, powdery iris-sandalwood. It reminds me of My Vanilla, but I like this one even better.

Of all the flavors of Anna for me this fragrance is very understandable, because powdery fondant-flower area is what I used to wear. Anyway, here I was expecting to hear something similar to Frederic Malle Lipstick Rose. It turned out - only the direction the same. Lipstick of rafinowany, cooler and clearer. No. 3 - there are more layers. Delicate soft berry marshmallows with pink petals from time to time performs the transformation of the classic smell of lipstick and then comes back. Then marshmallows melts in the air, and the skin remains warm, light aroma of creamy cupcake, a bit of lemons, apples and cinnamon. Pampering and bliss!

Tender and delicious and sadly absolutely impossible for me to wear: way too tender, it softens mood, disarms and unconsiously calls for hugs. No, not me, anyway not in public ))) But I still cannot stop admiring the perfume - it is so intimate, so loveable at first breath and at the same time so rich and true. All the natural ingredients sing with full voices in absolute unison. Of love, of course. It starts as a cloud of soft and shimmering vegetal musk powder. Like butterfly wings - soft, caressing and weighless. Then the rose appears surrounded by sweet flowers. The heart is rich and the flowers here - rose, ylang, jasmine shine here in a perfect bouquet. And then the base comes, oh! It is like benzoin sand or even soft dust. I have to say that normally I absolutely hate benzoin - for me it is too sweet, toothachingly sweet. And here Anna worked a miracle: together with sandalwood, labdanum, orris and tonka it feels still sweet but to me absolutely harmless. It is like a village footpath dusted with fine clay dust, dry and warm with noon sun. It is so soft and pleasant that if you take off your shoes and sink your bare feet into that dust, you could stay like this forever unable to move from immense pleasure. Gosh! Should I start wearing it and I'll never leave for work in the morning ))
