Love, Anne

I never thought I'd say this, but the name is appropriate. I think 'Love, Anne' quite a loveable scent! Having tested it some while back, I wrote a review about a pleasant bubblegum floral in the same general family as D&G The One, with which I still agree. It's airier than what it resembles but.... sometimes airy is actually nice. I recently came across a bargain bottle and was surprisingly drawn to it. (The packaging is gold and pink, haha!) Knowing it was not a total blind buy I happily brought it home - but imagine my delight when it became my summer dream theme. This is a LOVELY fragrance, not for any imaginary complexity, but because it layers like a dream. It summer-modifies many a fragrance I already own and find 'too much' or 'too little' on their own! It melds to perfection and adds an airy and happy pink aura. Something not quite sweet or floral or lighthearted enough? Add 'Love, Anne' and voila. It's the simplest modification and smells wonderful with almost anything. So far I have layered with Elie Saab Le Parfum, Avon Far Away, Far Away Intense, Fred Hayman Touch With Love, etc, I can easily see myself doing this all summer long! It's just the perfect little summer addition. Immediately useful and enjoyable. NOTE: Nothing prepared me for the quality of this bottle. IT IS HEFTY and expensive looking. There is something about the bottle that is more impressive than, say, most Chanels. An unexpectedly luxe gift to myself... and would make a fantastic gift for most floral lovers. Update: After a year on my shelf in a sometimes-warm room, she is stronger! I get so excited when I discover this! <3 I'd love more from this line - good stuff.

Like a floral fruity but milder and more mature. My first impression was that it reminded me a bit of Viva la Juicy and Daisy Eau so Fresh, which I already have. But then I noticed this was a bit milder. I lover fruit punch-style floral fruity scents, but also they just don't feel right when it comes to going into the office to interact with my mostly-Gen X+ coworkers or when it comes to visiting my grandmother. But this scent feels like it could work in those situations. It gives me those notes I'm looking for - bright fruit (the passionfruit note is sooooo good!!!), white florals, amber, and vanilla - but it's somehow more toned down when accompanied by the other notes. It's not something I'd wear all the time because it does seem a bit too mature for most of life outside of working in the office and doing family things, but it's lovely. And also, on a personal note, it for some reason reminds me of the times I'd spend visiting my grandparents' retirement home. Anne Klein seems to have kept some of those qualities that seems to show up in perfumes that smell a bit 'old lady,' but they also made it more youthful where Viva la Juicy lovers could still like it. So, all in all, I'm a fan, and I will plan on buying a full bottle (I originally just tried a sample) because it's all around a nice fragrance, and I feel like I would regret not purchasing this scent if I didn't.

This is great! I can’t believe I got this for $12 USD. It’s got such a smooth, seamless warmth and no note sticks out. My first impressions were warm and slightly sweet but not candyish. Evolves from a bright, lightly peach (to my nose) top notes to a warm, golden, base of vanilla, amber (only a hint), and cashmere. The closest thing in feel I have to this is Azzaro Pour Elle. They don’t smell alike but have that same fuzzy sweater feel. Love, Anne is more elegant and refined to my nose, though. It does sit close to my skin but longevity is good. Eight hours on my skin. I do not consider this a “sweet” perfume, and certainly not gourmand in any way, but my 19 year old daughter said I smelled like Toll House cookies lol

Got this for $13 at Burlington coat factory and I love it I've heard other people talk about a bubble gum scent to certain scents but I've never came across that until I got this!! I love it this is soft, sultry, bubble gummy and a feminine goddess great for an everyday scent very inoffensive, very wearable imo it's great for a summer day is not going to project beast mode but you'll definitely enjoy it as you move you'll get wifths of it and you'll have to reapply but that doesn't bother me at all I always carry my fragrances anyway

What a lovely, simple scent. I smell pink bubblegum goodness - the kind of tuberose/white floral fragrance that never smells old fashioned or elderly, but also smells quite linear throughout. Not a great deal of development. Certainly pink, feminine good cheer. If you love The One, this could be an inexpensive substitute. Not a dupe, just in the same family. Good stuff! Update: Now that I have been wearing her more, I do smell more of a vanilla/musk base, so there is a LITTLE development after all. Very enjoyable, if minimalistic.

This is a pretty and unexpected find. I picked up the slight bubblegum aspect someone mentioned but more like the juicy fruit gum. The passion fruit stands out! Fruity floral and well balanced with vanilla. Rose Absolutely version: Needs its own page, but very deep, dark sweet woody and not much rose. Maybe plum or red berries. In the vein of euphoria but less woody maybe ? It’s heavier for sure. I wish I smelled rose but it’s more sugar, less floral. I feel like I’ve smelled this type before so not very original, but pleasant.

Lovely fragrance, this reminds me a lot of Allure by Chanel. Sweetly powdery and a touch woody, with lots of beautiful floral nuances. I don't get the immense fruitiness of the passionfruit, I find the bergamot stands out more than not on my skin. Perfect for warmer months, this is beautiful in the summer heat. Arms length sillage, lasts around 5-6 hrs on me. Worthy modern reintroduction to the Anne Klein fragrance world.

I just got this, I like it! Pretty, fresh, different than a lot out there. Can’t stop smelling my wrists. Has decent longevity, not sure yet of sillage. I don’t get too much vanilla till a few hours later, and I can smell it the next morning. *Update* the more I wear it, the more I like it. It kept reminding me of another perfume, it came to me today, D&G the One. Lighter and softer than it but similar.

Does anyone know the note breakdown for the Love, Anne Vanilla Musk flanker? It is so pretty! One of my favorite vanillas. It’s very similar to Burberry Goddess, but the aromatics are different. Vanilla Musk has a spicier aromatic, maybe cinnamon, instead of the lavender in Goddess. I hope someone knows the notes breakdown!

I got a sample of this because it was cheap, but I am pleasantly surprised at what a good perfume this is, and I will be buying a full-size bottle to add to my collection. This starts off w/ a very juicy passionfruit, that is very realistic. I've been to Hawaii twice and love the smell and taste of fresh passionfruit. My husband and I ate a lot of it while we were vacationing/honeymooning there. As this perfume progresses a just ripe peach note is added to the passionfruit w/ a soft hyacinth and a creamy tiare flower. The dry down is a very nice vanilla and soft cashmere woods, co-mingling w/ the fruity, floral notes. Cashmere woods are one of my favorite synthetic notes for dry downs and I wish those, or white musk were used more instead of ambroxan or cashmeran. This reminds me a little of Last Light by Henry Rose. Don't get me wrong, it's not a dupe but Last Light is a peach fragrance w/ jasmine and Cashmere woods and vanilla in the dry down. The tiare flower, hyacinth and passionfruit In Love Anne keep this different enough for me to want a full-size bottle. This is a very pretty, soft delicate fruity floral that is perfect for spring and summer. It would also work for most situations and be tasteful, while remaining fun and a bit flirty. A good 1st date (like a lunch meet and greet date) type of perfume as well.

Citrusy upbeat floral with more sweetness and warmth than greenness. There’s a faint resemblance to Roma by Laura Biagiotti and an even closer one to Chanel’s Allure but Love, Anne’s first impression is lighter, less distinctive, maybe a bit sweeter. It opens with a soprano amber fruit note that immediately gives a pleasant warmth. It’s not “fruity” per se but the sweetness of the passionfruit, mandarin, and peach is evident. The more I wear it, the more interesting nuances peek out — a glimpse of watery wildflower-fresh hyacinth here, soft powdery vanilla there, a hint of Earl Grey tea (even though it is not listed as a note) and radiant warm amber throughout. There’s no moss or sharp patchouli darkness: the overall impression is warmth and light. It’s immediately likeable but my own personal taste tends to crave a bit more darkness to contrast. I can’t find any flaws in this fragrance, though. It’s very well done. Almost Chanel-esque in concept and quality. Chanel Lite. Bottle is heavy glass with a good sprayer. Scent has decent lasting power. It’s very on brand in that it reflects the Anne Klein aesthetic of classic lines and youthful minimalism. It’s an all-purpose everyday feminine scent that should appeal to their market.

I definitely see the comparisons between Love, Anne and The One, but Love, Anne has a tart, sharper note lasting throughout the wear -- the passionfruit, I'm guessing -- that The One lacks. Love, Anne is tart-sweet fruity (yes to some citruses) and pretty. I can't quite pick out any florals -- either tiare or hyacinth -- but that doesn't mean they're not there, of course! -- while I can definitely smell a clear lily in The One. And when I think of peach, I think Mitsouko, Burberry Women or Body, or even Exclamation!, so I don't particularly get peach, either. Nonetheless, Love, Anne reads as a fruity floral. I think I paid $12 for this at Burlington, so it's definitely a bargain. If I had to choose a favorite between Love, Anne and The One, I'd go for The One, however, because I'm not as crazy about the passionfruit note and I adore lily in The One; I'll probably keep Love, Anne, though. Longevity on both fragrances is not stellar, but it's not horrible, either -- maybe 3 hours. Love, Anne's a good choice if you enjoy a pretty, fruity floral for a bargain.

I love Anne Klein fragrances. After 30 years with no releases, ‘Love, Anne’ is a light and fruity departure. ‘Love, Anne’ is bright, floral, fruity and powdery. It comes in an attractive glass bottle with the Anne Klein lion logo in the cap. The only prominent note that stands out to me is passionfruit. It's a tiny bit powdery. Otherwise it's smooth and well blended with a little vanilla. The fruity floral category is already saturated. However in a sea of fruity florals, this manages to be memorable. It's sophisticated yet fun. ‘Love, Anne’ will work nicely for the office, hospitals, school, even a first date. That is, anywhere you need to have a gentle fragrance. The flipside is these types of fragrances, though absolutely charming, can be a bit dull. NOT this one. The powdery passionfruit makes it a stand out perfume and the dry down is gentle and cashmere-like. Longevity is a problem, though you can easily carry a small decant with you. If you aren’t already drowning in fruity florals, this is worth trying and it is reasonably priced.

The short: I really like this scent. Happy it is in my collection. The Long: I bought this last year to add to my AK collection. I feel like I lucked out! This is pretty nice. It opens with bright fruity citrus notes. Mid -the peach and hyacinth dance around the tiare flower. Really pretty and lightly sweet. Base-I get light musk-cashmere wood. I wore this in the summer and it just evaporated off of my skin. No big loss. I would use it up and be done w it. But today, it is lovely and playful. Projects 2-3 hrs, then skin scent. Well behaved but, leaves a soft waft of scent as I move about. This works really well in cool temps for me! Gives my family a break from my all of my spicy amber winter scents.😉 The bottle is sleek with gold lettering and the signature lion’s head on the cap. I bought a 100ml bottle for less than $20. I don’t own anything else similar to compare it to. Happy to have this as my own.

I’m going to put this here because it’s a flanker. I have the flanker called Pear Blossom. The description is Eau de Parfum 3.4oz / 100mL Chypre/Sophisticated Wood fragrance Bright citrus and fruit notes give way to a heart of fruity florals and finish with a sensual mix of patchouli and vanilla. Fragrance notes: Top: Honeycrisp Apple, Pear, Bergamot Mid: Jasmine Petals, Rose Water, Cassis Base: Patchouli, Vanilla, Musk This is certainly a fruity pear. I’ve smelled something similar before but can’t place it. You can discern the jasmine, vanilla and musk. It’s quite intoxicating and pretty at the same time. You only need a few sprays because unlike the original this is a beast. On clothes it’s everlasting. It is very pleasant and an everyday fruity fragrance. It’s not too juvenile and not too mature. I think the majority of women 21 and older who enjoys pear fragrance will love this.

I do like this fragrance. It's not one that I would wear every day, and it's not an "easy grab", per se, if you weren't sure what to wear that day. It's quite layered, and it seems like you would have to be in the mood for it. It would be lovely for tea with friends, an afternoon of shopping with the girls, or an evening by the fire. The vanilla and amber are so warm and make it an easy choice for fall or winter. It is a respectable scent, and I would wear it far more often, but the performance is quite poor. After 2 hours it becomes a skin scent on me, and this knocks my enthusiasm down a peg or two, unfortunately.

Peach tea, bubblegum, and cashmere. Easy to reach for. Fluffy! Reminds me of a hair product my mom used on me when I was really small. I could see this being someone's signature scent.

Literally smells like The One, maybe a little less powdery which is a win in my book ! So happy I picked this up! I love the Passion fruit note. Tropical, peachy and ambery !
