Annie

Annie perfume is a nice floral. Between smelling all the perfumes of Annie Oakley Perfumery & Studio and creating my own fragrance there, I have a bit of olfactory fatigue. So that is all I remember of Annie perfume. I visited Annie Oakley perfumery, Ligonier, IN, 5/9/19 and created my bespoke fragrance in a body oil. I may have chosen my notes (essential oils) too cavalierly and wish now that I had asked more questions and taken more time. (My bespoke is a blend of vanilla, vetiver, grapefruit, and chamomile). This house has quite a few perfumes in addition to Annie, both for men and for women. These are not yet in Fragrantica database. I shared this with Annie Oakley personnel. Hopefully, they will update their information soon. Annie Oakley also have many other products such as body products, room sprays, shampoo and conditioner, etc., formulated in their various fragrances; or the customer can put bespoke fragrance into unscented products. My bespoke "formula" is on file should I decide to order more. My favorite purchase was a room and linen spray called Spice of Life. I also bought their 'Don't Touch Me' Outdoor Body Spray, an essential oil insect repellant! Annie Oakley even make a lavender spray to calm horses while they are being trained! This perfumery is off the beaten path deep in Amish country near Shipshewana, IN. I passed many horse-and-buggies on my way there. The shape of the Annie perfume bottle is based on the shape of a stirrup! The proprietor's son, dressed in cowboy gear, modeled for the photographic material advertising one of the men's fragrances! (In real life, he's a dentist.) There are no conveyor belts on the premises. All bottles are hand-filled. All in all, it's an interesting family business and a fun way to spend an hour or two.

I have been to Annie Oakley Perfumery. They are located in Ligonier, Indiana. It's a small perfumery in a small town, but they have several perfumes, including Annie. All of the women's perfumes are great (I like the florals best) and they also offer men's fragrances as well as other scented items. It's well worth a trip if you are close by. The fragrances are hard to find in my area, but they have a great web site.
