It’s mysterious, slightly dark, yet still very pleasant and wearable. It has character and its own identity. For me, this is one of the most interesting modern neo-gourmands because it feels grown up, creative and confident without being loud.

this is my first gourmand. it is a unique scent, sensual and warm at the onset. this scent is a night out in nyc, dressed in a sexy outfit, fleeting eye contact with strangers all night worn by day i am holding my sensuality close to my chest, wherein my presence entices curiosity the name is apt. there is a nice sweetness balance by the smokiness. there is a creaminess from the orris root. the coffee and cloves add a dessert like quality to the scent it would be nice if the scent had a bigger projection. this scent is best for fall winter and seems more oriented to the evening. by the end of the day I don’t smell it on my clothes though it lasts on the skin for 6+ hours. i have worn it about 5 times and no one has noticed it. that’s why I feel it gives me a sexy clandestine feeling. a scent with this profile should speak louder and turn heads when I walk down the street. either way I love it, but i’m not sure i’d repurchase this given the low sillage/projection

What to say about this fragrance It is something out of context Not familiar Unconventional Just straight up weird My kind of weird At initial spray you get that buttery iris very nice and smooth with the rest of the notes hitting your nose one after the other After the opening it starts to develop throughout its life cycle Unfortunately I didn’t get the coffee which I would’ve liked but the rest was ok What crazy about the scent is the performance It lasted all day ever so persistent Sadly the iris or orris root dies down after the mid and it becomes hard to detect I enjoyed it for its weirdness but it’s not something I’d wear everyday maybe occasionally Testing it in the heat was good and all but I have a feeling maybe it will flourish in cooler temperatures

Way too bohemic, not enough narcotic for me. A bit dusty and musty (sounds unpleasant but it’s cool). Not for me; unusual! 👽 somehow sexy association: dusty old book, clip-on earrings, potpourri

Non mi rimanda alle fragranze gourmand, l'apertura è molto pungente, i chiodi di garogano sono preponderanti, estremamente polveroso. Peccato perchè non amo particolarmente il vetiver.

Not leather enough, lots of cardamom thou

This company has already shown their incompetence, and they just launched. Yesterday, I went to their website, made an account, and tried to order their sample set. In their terms & conditions, they mention twice (!) that payment can be made using either credit card or PayPal. First time I went to the checkout, there was no PayPal option. So I simply clicked "back to cart", and tried again. Still no option to pay with PayPal. I only use PayPal for any online transactions, and never use my credit card directly. Again I clicked "back to cart". I went into my profile, and by chance I saw it: Two pending orders had been placed with my account! How can this happen? I NEVER even confirmed any order on the Anomalia website, so this made me furious! I contacted them, telling them to please immediately cancel these orders, as I never even placed them. They answered, that two orders with failed payment have been recorded in their system. Hell yes the payment failed, I didn't enter any information, nor did I even PLACE the orders! They told me they currently don't accept PayPal (then WHY is it on your website's terms & conditions????) and asked me to forward them the order confirmation emails, so they can resolve the problem. But I never even received any order confirmations, because I DID NOT ORDER ANYTHING! I told them that I will NOT pay for anything and that they please simply cancel the orders, and delete my account, since I do not wish to do business with them anymore. They did NOT get back to me after this, the orders are still in my account as "pending", and my account is still not deleted. BE CAREFUL, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEIR WEBSITE. It clearly says on their website that they accept PayPal, BUT THEY DON'T! Their website is FAULTY! UPDATE: It has been well over a week, they did not send any more emails, they still did not cancel the orders I never placed and my account has still not been deleted. They did, however, remove the PayPal option from their terms & conditions. To be safe, I made screenshots of that section of their website before it was removed, because if they try anything funny, I've got proof of their incompetence.

I'm personally a huge fan of very niche, strong and unusual perfumes. I bought this one together with Shaman after testing them in my local store, and they are indeed both amazing. Narcotic is perfect for the evening and the night, its smell is very mysterious yet pleasant, which is absolutely my type. Also, its sillage is perfect, as well as its longevity, I put it for test in the morning and it lasted until I came home back from work, it's very mind-blowing ! I highly recommend it to those who love dark and niche smells !

Tried a sample, legitimately smells like dusty attic or loft (which must be the sage overpowering). Super dry, offensive first hit of musty wood that lingers. Eventually this settles and smells like old linen or a childhood journey around Carpet World (sniff any of the carpets hanging up).

Let's not for get to mention the 40 Euro + shipping charge for the (7) 2 ml samples. Before I even consider to discover a company they put a sour taste in my mouth with their greedy behavior. I click away fast, and you can keep your whatever.

This one smells like the unapproachable cool girl at a really nice club at 2AM. Super unique, interesting, and very very nice. Definitely a night perfume. I wish it came in smaller bottles, because it definitely isn’t an everyday scent.
