White Tuberose

What a delightful fragrance! It starts with a hint of medicinal anise, reminiscent of Madonna's Truth or Dare- then morphs into a lush, warm tuberose/orange blossom with just the right tinge of indoles- potency and longevity are awesome- Highly recommended for white flower lovers!

This is most definitely a strong floral, so at least that aspect of White Tuberose in keeping with what its name suggests. It’s almost as if lily-of-the-valley and artificial grape were layered over a generous dose of wintergreen flavored sports rub - Dior Poison meets Ben-Gay and they combine forces. I generally don’t like white florals, and would certainly not seek this one out on a regular basis, but it’s not a scrubber, either. The whole grape popsicle plus wintergreen scenario is interesting, at least. I’ve smelled a few other perfumes with “orange flower” notes that were heavy on the artificial grape, so I suppose that the grape is in the orange flower accord that is listed in the official notes. The scent is more or less liner, just gradually fading away over the course of the day. Towards the end there’s a slight hint of a clean musk note, but it’s still mostly masked by the florals. Sillage is strong at first, then moderate. For some reason this one seems to have lasted longer on my skin than on my clothes, still hanging on almost 24 hours after I applied it.

The last in the trio of Anthousa perfume oils, White Tuberose is simple, straightforward and very LOUD. In spite of its name, it is also the only "juice" in the trio with a yellow color. Strange. Anyway, this one is nice, if a bit brazen. I find it works best layered with the Fig and Vetiver or with other scents that will dampen the effect a bit. If you dislike strong florals, this one won't be your cup of tea at all. It is slightly sweet, with a hint of musk in the dry-down, and it takes ages to disappear from my skin. It's much simpler than Fracas or even BBW's Velvet Tuberose, but worth a try if you enjoy rich, creamy white floral scents.

Strong white florals, definitely powerful Orange Blossom/Magnolia/Tuberose type. It is linear, as Doc Elly said, starting strong and purely floral and drying gradually as that. There's even a slight peppery note that true flowers can have, and it lacks that horrible moth ball/Indole note that many white florals have. While it is feminine, pretty and rich, it is also not my type of fragrance. I would suggest it to people looking for a simple but elegantly layered white floral scent that doesn't smell cheap, overly indole or knock small birds out of the sky with it's monster sillage: This one is lady like, polite and pretty. Actually a perfect Spring wedding fragrance, I'd think. Just not my style.

This is a creamy tuberose, I think the name fits the scent perfectly. Im not a tuberose fan as such, or even a straight up floral fan either, but this is a nice feminine scent. I don't find it too loud personally, but then I only dabbed from my sample. I wouldn't buy this but Ill enjoy my smaple.
