This is a masterpiece. And I don’t say that lightly. I’m so surprised it’s from Anthropologie?! This is simply stunning. It’s fresh yet warm and cosy. It’s a stop you in your tracks perfume. The ultimate clean girl vanilla. Such a chic not overly sweet fragrance. Such a fresh take on vanilla when many of the vanilla gourmand fragrances these days are super heavy creamy and dense. Like 7 virtues buttercream haze is just a beast. This is beautiful and light. Wedding day vanilla even! Run and get one before it’s gone because oh my god. Just wow.

I’m so upset this is limited edition 💔 I’ve tried lots of vanillas and this is the best of them all: reminds me of sdj 59 but so much richer and long lasting. Just beautiful!!

I'd categorize this as a clean girl flormand. It's nice! Nothing groundbreaking, but I think it actually has a niche that isn't overly served. It's perhaps a little more floral than I'd usually prefer, but it does smell like an airy vanilla whipped cream with white florals. The vanilla isn't boozy or spicy in any way and the sandalwood is also not super present. This is a very light wearing and intimate scent, which suits my tastes. I'd be comfortable wearing this in any season, but it would be an especially nice choice for gourmand girls in the heat since it's light and not quite so sweet. I may declutter this, but I'll see how often I reach for it for a couple of months first. This is very similar to Laura Mercier's Vanille, just softer and maybe a touch less floral. If you think this is weak but like the scent, try LM.

I love vanilla perfumes and collect them. I had high hopes for this, but I found it to be a let down. Projection and longevity are incredibly weak, and I don’t typically mind reapplying—but this is particularly bad for that. The fragrance is pleasant enough and I think it’s a crowd pleasing type of smell but there are 1000 other vanillas that are so much better than this one, many of them for less than half the price.

Light sandalwood covered in a healthy dose of vanilla powdered sugar tucked into a cute little bottle with a white orb top. Somehow "luster" seems like an appropriate name. Sold it. ✨
