Greetings, 02.01.2016 I have purchased this cologne for myself, because I remember borrowing this sometimes from my dad when I was in my early 20s. I have positive feelings for Antonio fragrances, even though I almost hate PUIG for discontinuing Antonio - which was my signature cologne. It is a warm pepper/musk/sandalwood fragrance. It may smell a little bit warm/dirty/crisp even intoxicating but not in a bad way. Somehow I feel that the formula might have changed, as say 10 years a go it was a little bit more harsh. I have noticed that now the staying power is average, but it used to be long lasting. All in all its a good scent, very versatile for colder weather. I do not recommend it for summer time. The downside is that it is a bit watered down, and after about 4-5 hours it becomes a skin scent. Once it dried down completely you are left with a pleasant sweet musky scent. I am happy to have this in my collection, as it is a good yet, not very powerful pepper scent. All in all for the good memories: 8/10 because the price is good.

Blind bought a 200ml bottle from eBay. Ended up spending under 20 bucks. This is because I’ve never smelled anything by Rosendo Mateu I didn’t love. As of now I have 5 of his creations (Agua Brava is my favorite). Diavolo is nothing dark, nothing spicy, nothing sultry, nothing mysterious. If you’ve ever smelled the original Prada Luna Rossa, you’ll get the vibe. This is a clean, soapy, reassuring, classy, soft fragrance with some greens and a little leather. I love it. I probably used 3 mls though in one work shift. I didn’t notice any significant projection or significant longevity worth mentioning. Worth a blind buy I’d say. Glad to have it in my collection. It was instantly liked by my whole family.

I can’t comment on whether this smells like Fahrenheit or not, but what I can tell you is that this smells real good. The dry down is particularly good. The performance on the other hand is not. Not as bad as others would lead you to believe but definitely not good. However, you can get a giant bottle for next to nothing, so spray away. Douse yourself, and your clothes(this always helps) and you’ll get a couple hours of decent projection. It does become a skin sent rather quickly, but it also lasts as skin scent for a good amount of time. It’s fresh, it’s sexy, it’s versatile, and it’s cheap.

I like it,it does smell a bit like Fahrenheit. It's a good fragrance,fresh,it can be worn by anybody,anytime and anywhere.Longevity is good for the price,decent sillage for the first 2 hours.I've had expensive designer fragrances( D&G-The One,Bvlgari-Blv,Kenzo-Power) that had worst longevity and sillage but way more expensive than Diavolo. If you like the smell ...it's worth the pice! I like to wear this one from time to time,reminds me of my teen years!

This is fresh and strong pepper based citrus scent. I was very impressed of its longevity ang sillage the first time i tried it. It really "fills the room" but you may not like it because the pepper note is quite strong. Some say it smells like Fahrenheit but i don't get that at all. And yes it does smell "devilish" like its name.

One of my favorite Antonio Bandera fragrances.People say that Diavolo doesn't last.In my case it lasted more than 8 hours which for an edt is great.The resemblance to Dior Fahrenheit is very little.It is worth giving it space in a collection.

I would like to bite every man wears this!!! Very charming and mascular. I bought this by accident while I was searching for the feminine. I didn't wear it. My mom used to wear it and she was really impressed too.

1997. You're about to meet the Devil (or Diavolo if you're meeting him in Spain) in order to sign a contract allowing you to wear his newly launched essence. Upon reaching the place where the ceremony is to take place, you realise it's a delapidated, musty mansion, not unlike the ones you believed exist only in old horror movies. You knock hesitantly on its huge ironclad door, thinking that maybe this wasn't such a good idea. The person that "welcomes" you is Antonio Banderas, dressed like having just left the set of "Interview with the Vampire". The whole place reeks with some twisted kind of veneration mixed with fear and muffled screams. You're taken to its basement, where the Devil, sitting in an elaborate obsidian throne, greets you heartily and addresses you his anointed champion. He snaps his fingers and a wickedly ravishing Melanie Griffith enters the scene and handles you the bottle... 2016. You're about to meet the Devil anew. The contract has expired some 10 years ago and you, in your everlasting quest of unearthing thunderous beasts of yore, didn't think of renewing it till now. But since you stumbled on a box including a 100ml Eau de Toilette along with a 150ml body deodorant on your last weekly visit to the super market, you thought of requiring his permission to wear his essence again. All the more that it had a 50% discount. You shamble to the place where you first met the Devil, only to find it derelict and forlorn. A bored doorman gives you the Devil's new address. You enter a shiny high-end office building and you take the glass elevator to the penthouse. Antonio Banderas, dressed in a tuxedo, like he's about to walk the red carpet in the Academy Awards ceremony, welcomes you again. You're taken to a vast airy office, where the Devil is processing fiscal data in a hi-tech laptop. He greets you hastily, and before delving into the screen again, he hits the intercom and Melanie Griffith, all vapid and tired enters the scene and handles you the bottle... How does transmogrification applies to a monster? What does a monster change into when it becomes a darling? Is "transmogrification" a viable word when we're talking about something lovely, albeit profanely wicked that has turned into a politically correct reverse sacrilege? Why do I have to become a verbal funambulist in order to express my disappointment for the current version of an once mighty handsome beast? Why Antonio? Why did you leave the leather so long exposed to the sun and forget the pepper jar open for years? Why? Farewell Diavolo. You took way too seriously this "devil in disguise" stuff, to the point of becoming unrecognisable and bleary. Oh, and I guess you grew tired of being in the details for so long, thus you thought that becoming blatantly inept was the right thing to do in order to meet the "brave new world" standards...

What a find! I have 2 other Antonio Banderas perfumes that I really like, but I had never heard of this one. It's almost hard to describe how it smells ... it's both classy and sexy at once ... and fresh and spicy at the same time. I get a tiny bit of orange in the opening but it's a peppery/spicy orange-patchouli perfectly blended together ... and next enters the floral (geranium) which is pretty noticeable. The drydown is a musky, refined leather scent but it still maintains a little floral to it. Think ... a spicy, floral/musky leather fragrance that is actually fairly linear. With the exception of a little orange citrus in the beginning that goes away ... most everything else stays. It's not a fragrance that you have to wait around to see how it changes. After my initial 5-6 sprays ... within 15 minutes you have the entire fragrance experience. It only lasts around 4-5 hours but this fragrance is dirt cheap ... so spray away and re-spray. This is a masculine fragrance and is a total success WITHOUT being sweet ... so zero vanilla and tonka. It's just a nice, fresh, non-sweet manly fragrance. My advice ... get it! (PS ... I rated it as "I like it"... because it's not quite an "I love it" ... but you definitely can't go wrong by getting the big 6.7 oz for under $25!)

Let's talk about Diavolo for Men. I already mentioned something about the prejudice that the Latin public has against Antonio Banderas' fragrances. I, in particular, find it unfounded to maintain prejudice about any kind of fragrances, about brands, about the origin and about genres. In fact, any kind of prejudice is bad, isn't it? This perfume reminds me (and a lot!) of Dior's Fahrenheit. Despite not having the intense violet notes of the most famous brother, Diavolo for Men manages, with its own composition, to achieve a similar and well-made aroma at an infinitely lower cost. Created with notes of bergamot, mandarin orange, patchouli, pepper, and geranium, it is dry, slightly spicy and does not transmit the so-called “smell of gasoline” of Fahrenheit, which is a positive point, because when it reaches the heart notes, we find more similarities, with its notes of leather, musk, and sandalwood. Without a doubt, Diavolo for Men is a good perfume, with a great fragrance and excellent cost-benefit ratio.

Smells very nice, but has really limited performance. The atomizer is gorgeous, the spray is very open and fresh, makes you wanna bath yourself with it. But even if you bath in it l, it will not project and last for too long. This is one that you need to respray often. In my skin, the drydown has a lovely sugary vibe to it, a little bit like burnt sugar. It is a cheapie, so I cannot complain a lot since the whole experience was nice overall despite the lacklustre performance

Citrusy opening, with predominant dark spicy vibe. After few minutes, i get strong patchouli and light geranium note with some leather. Reminds of Fahrenheit. And not just as a copy, but with original, spicy structure. Drydown - dirty, but not strong musk. Leather is still here, with warm woods. So it's balanced well. Not too spicy, not too musky. Really underrated, deserves more attention. Scent - 7.5 Sillage - 7 Longevity - 7 Versatility - 8 Price - 10

Opening is with a citrusy note and a heavy dose of black spice. After a little while, I detect a potent patchouli and a delicate geranium scent along with some leather. brings to mind Fahrenheit. It is dry, slightly spicy, and contains some notes of leather, musk, and sandalwood. It was made using notes of bergamot, mandarin orange, patchouli, pepper, and geranium. excellent in performance. both endearing and masculine.

I enjoy its fragrance, but its performance is extremely weak. I tried Fahrenheit and Diavolo side by side ... and there is quite a resemblance. But only for a few minutes ... then its gone. Not gone as it changes into something else ... it's completely gone, nothing left behind. That being said ... if you are willing to reapply regularly ... it smells really nice, and its as cheap as it gets.

This one is a cheapie,and a good one. I dont see the similarity to dior fahrenheit, this one is a twist of its own. For 10-15 euros its really good especially if you dont want to spend a lot of money. All year rounder but best to wear when its a little colder. Performance-wise i wont even talk about it. Keep in mind that its good for the price u pay for it, it will do the job for you.

Excellent fragrance for it's price.On my skin is very strong and lasts at least 3-4 hours very intense. Also i 've get compliments from women for this fragrance although is not so famous as Diors or armani perfumes! I strongly recommend you to try it.Also it fits for every age on my oippinion. My grandpa used to wear it when he was 60 and i also wear it now at 25! ;-)

its funny this perfum is listened here as american when this is totally made in Spain, Barcelona, btw, and practically only available here...

Not a dupe for Fahrenheit but I understand the comparison, it is in the same style. I like it a lot.

Meh. So here's the Diavolo stuff I was talking about on my Blue Seduction review. This was my first "buy it yourself rather than have them gifted to you" frag. A recommendation from a family member. It was decent at first, but me, being a big dummy, I kept wearing it. For four years straight. From 2019 to 2023. No mercy. No matter the season or time of day. Yeah, I screwed up big time. Hell, I didn't even give a about what other people thought. Every month I'd go to the mall to buy a 200 ml bottle of Diavolo since it was (and still is) cheap. $~11. Never even thought to myself "ooh i've been wearing this too much, maybe i should consider something else?" once on that time. NO. No I didn't. Not until last year. Ugh. Still thankful for Club de Nuit Intense Man's existence making me discover Fragrantica and finally making me change my mind completely. Anyway, on to the fragrance... oh wait. Sorry, can't remember with 4 YEARS OF SMELLING THE SAME STUPID FRAG. My nose got so screwed up and I hate myself for having done all that. At least I'm at a better place now. I can only recall that slightly green fake leather smell. I'm sorry. Don't buy this. Get The Secret if you want a decent AB cold day/season frag. Don't buy Fahrenheit either. I tested that one out of plain boredom a few months ago and it was even worser than this, so terrible I could fuel a car with it because GASOLINE SMELL. Or do. It's just my opinion. But in the end, the choice is yours.

its scent is so cheap! when i saw it first i thought it'd be something that could bring loads of emotions at once, but it only brings cheap fragrancies - when it settles (if we could say that in this case) it simply vanishes: it lasts only until it evaporates #SO CHEAP!. totally dislike it. at least it's really cheap, still a waste of money though.

this is the WORST perfume ever, its smells literally like crap, yes, crap, poop, whatever u wanna call it. When i tried it with my cousin we were astonished by the horrible smell, dont u ever buy it!

Longevity measured in minutes, and not hours. Sticks a bit on the body, flies off the wrist faster than a busted Wiimote.

it ́s a bad copy of HERRERA FOR MEN, even though DIABOLO is nauseating

There's not even a trace of violet in this, it's only raw gasoline and patchouli. It's not even remotely similar to Fahrenheit or Hitfire

This feels like the fresh and latest version of Dior’s Fahrenheit to me. However, the intense violet notes are missed but in this one, the composition achieved the well-made aroma that is way more economical and budget friendly. Notes in this one is mandarin orange, bergamot, pepper, patchouli and geranium. This one is slightly spicy, dry with the leathery notes, sandalwood and musk. Cost benefit ratio is perfect in this along with excellent performance and great fragrance. Opening is citrusy with the dark spicy vibes that settles soon to strong patchouli and light geranium with some of the leather. Dry down for this one is dirty but not strong musk. Altogether, this is musky and spicy but in control and not too much. Silage is moderate, longevity is strong, versatility is good too and price is highly competitive and cheap for such a beauty. I believe this one is quite underrated.

Maybe the old formulation smelled somewhat like Dior Fahrenheit but right now in 2025 I find almost zero similarities to the gasoline beast. Diavolo opens up with a juicy mandarin orange, almost like an orange hard candy, the first 10 minutes is probably the best part. Then the dry down brings a soft white suede with a touch of pepper. Everything is toned down and that can translate to a non existent projection. It’s definitely a skin scent. I didn’t expect much although I bought it because I grew up in the 90’s and this was very popular back then. It definitely does not smell as good as it used to, it actually smells kinda different. Reformulation did it again. So many good fragrances keep going through reformulation, might as well discontinue it and launch it as a new product, apparently misleading people sounds more appealing nowadays This world is a funky place. 🤡

bought it yesterday. this smells great and nostalgic this is the ultimate nineties musculine/youthful fragrance you can get so if you have the chance to buy this then don't miss and do yourself a favor and buy and i bet you will go "hmmm...i smelled this one before" in a good way. 06/07/2016 look i've been smelling this for a couple of days now, and yes now i'm starting to understand why people are comparing it to Fahtenheit. It only smells like Fahrenheit depending on how hard you press your mind into believing that it's Fahrenheit. Wow we're such an impressionable species. not joking.

I always buy it to my boyfriend because I love him wearing it! It ́s so masculine, sexy and at the same time sophistacated... and all these for a very reasonable price. It ́s a very well- balenced fragrance between/among the sweet and woody and/or spicy scents. Men: wear it, specially if you feel masculine and secure of yourself. Women: Please try to smell it on your man!It ́s gorgeous!

I don't understand why so many people in Latin America compare this fragrance with Xeryus Rouge. I clearly think it's a Fahrenheit Dior's softer and cheaper clone. This one is more wearable for younger crowds too. Not one of my favs, but I think Diavolo is a good choice if you don't want to spend bigger money on a bottle of Fahrenheit.

the perfume of "mariachi e compagna" is very popular and almost every man has tried it. its oriental smell brings you back in Scheherzada time. My husband had it 2 months ago and he liked a lot. Maybe next month I will buy him another set, for St. Valentine

I really should review this after i let it dry down, but it definitely has a weaker/toned down Fahrenheit opening, but its drying down a bit more citrusy and a sweet floral so far with some toned down Fahrenheit opening in the background still..

This used to be my signature scent and I can tell you, it has almost nothing to do with Fahrenheit. It is lovely versatile manly fragrance. I just ordered a bottle to remind myself the good old times, wearing this loveliness.

This one is a good cheapie. Has decent 4-5 hours longevity and projects quite well within the arm lenght for a good 3 hours. It does resemble a bit of the Dior Fahrenheit, and I wish it had a better longevity.

It is an ok scent, even for the summer. It is extremely similar to Fahrenheit, even the packaging if you notice. It has some extra cinnamon and pepper notes, but that's it.

In the summer it is old lady style start and an invisible dry down. I ́ll get back when it is cold.

Spray this on clothes and Fahrenheit on you. It works well that way, believe me.

This fragrance reminds me of Fahrenheit, a pity this not has a good logenvity.
