Queen of Seduction

My absolute favourite fresh, summery scent! I got it at sale from the Duty Free, and let me tell you. It is a delicious scent, smells incredible. I love spraying it in my hair and lasts so long. Opening gives you the smell of fresh citruses, a very refreshing vibe. And it is not like any toilet freshener kind of citrus, it's perfect. At the drydown I can pick up the florals and the sweet raspberry, also the suede too in the background really blended and smooth. I used it to spray my letters for my boyfriend while I was in my long distance relationship. It is my ultimate signature summer fragrance which I would definitely rebuy in the future!

If you like floral aquatics you're getting what you come for with this one. It opens up citrus and then the water and flower notes come along. Queen of Seduction is kind of misleading. It's more like Mermaid Princess. Lol Im a slut for a good floral aquatic though and I can't stop smelling it on me. It lasts a really long time too I was surprised I went to sleep and could still smell it in the morning. I love it and it's fairly priced on eBay.

Oh wow! This is such a lovely surprise. A gorgeous citrus to start with (sweet orange not listed but my nose thinks it’s there) amid a truly lovely aquatic note. Then soft florals emerge with a sprinkling of pink pepper, followed by soft musky woody notes. Quite a weak perfume that needs rather a few sprays, then a top up within a few hours. But at this price, that’s ok with me. I’ll be using it liberally. I love it.

Smells exactly like Acqua di Gioia on the initial spray. I have them both and unless you compare side by side, most people could not tell the difference. The difference is that in Acqua di Gioia the mint is pronounced and it's a little sweeter. Queen of Seduction has a true citrusy note (Probably the grapefruit) and is not as sweet. I would say this is a much cheaper dupe for Armani.

when i read the notes, i thought it was made for me. then i got it. its my dream perfume, sea notes and raspberry, balanced with the citrus, its very raspberry forward on my skin which i loooove so much. just perfect! and for the price?? i ordered back ups to my back ups right away

I was really impress comparing this to my 2010 Aqua di gioia and wow smells pretty close to it feels like its lighter fruity side by side you can't really tell the difference. It also smells like the one they have on stores now, PLUS this is budget friendly. ♡

This is a similar to eternity aqua/aqua di Gio/l’eau d’issey/clean rain/white musk free...very lively, fresh and beautiful! It’s so inexpensive which is super fabulous! I hope I can find a gift set!

Really Fresh, pleasant and elegant, for very first time, I ́m in love whith a fragrance from Antonio Banderas. I ́m waiting for the intense version, by the way.

Queen of Seduction was launched in 2016 (I attended the Brazilian event for the fragrance launch) and came to pair with the male version, launched in 2014, called King of Seduction. The advertising campaign translates the concept, which brings the woman, the yacht, the ocean, the sea breeze and the aura of seduction that can also occur in the daylight. The fragrance is fruity and floral and features notes of grapefruit, watery accord and raspberry at the top, followed by a sensual heart of jasmine, peony, iris and pink pepper, on a base of cedar, amber and suede, which result in what has been called abroad as "skin accord". Queen of Seduction is a delicate and engaging scent, but it is not innovative. At the same time it refreshes, it gives a very nice cleansing aspect. For hot climates like the Brazilian, it's perfect! When touches the skin, the raspberry is sour and mixes with the aquatic notes in a pleasant way. When the heart (or body) of the fragrance becomes present, it also reveals a luminous floral, in which the peony is the queen of evolution. Whoever is afraid of perfumes with iris, don’t need to worry, for it is imperceptible here. Finally, when the base notes appear, there is a good nuance of cedar and little presence of suede. Actually, some reviews tell the truth: this fragrance has similarity to that of Acqua di Gioia, mainly because the floral heart is very similar. In terms of projection and lasting, it is worth mentioning that Queen of Seduction projects well during the first hour and then becomes close to the skin with a medium duration. That is, it is a cheaper option, but requires a heavier finger on the spray or a reapplication in the middle of the day. The bottle does not have the best materials on the market, but it is cute and deceives on size, because the 80ml bottle seems to have 50ml. Generally speaking, it is a scent that pleases me, because it can be worn every day and is very versatile. The prices also help a lot. Queen of Seduction has arrived to claim that the King of Seduction is no longer alone. And you can be that Queen, in your daily life, paying little.

I actually really like this one... this is a hidden gem in my opinion. I think this smells more like Aqua di Ocean or something like that. If I'm going for the aquatic smell? This should have a mermaid on it and be blue. Queen of the Ocean or whatever is what they should've named this one. To me, this IS the sexiest of "aquatic" scents. It is the PERFECT female sister of men's fougeres, and could also be a fougere for women. I have all the recent hits, and this one stood out to me. I don't think it smells a lot like acqu di gio but could be a similar Armani release, imo. I think this one is sexier with peony and Woodsy notes. I like that combo and the grapefruit makes it really a fresh "watery" smell and the peony holds its own making it smell as feminine to me as a aquatic for women can be while remaining 100% faithful to the style. I think this one smells REALLY good I actually bought 2 of these. Theyre my favorite. Better than Tommy Girl and better than CK better than Cool Water. They're also very small and easy to carry in your purse without the cap falling off and I think they last a good 4 to 5 hours on skin and 8 on clothes. I like to spray it in front of me and walk through it after a shower like it's perfume with water. Queen of the Ocean. But she IS "seductive" too... very feminine aquatic and that is my favorite fantasy note - exploring what different perfumers think "water" would smell like. Kinda like Olympea but does not smell near the same but same concept. 💙

Antonio Banderas is really a great choice when it comes to fresh and affordable perfumes. On my right wrist I wear Blue seduction and on my left Queen of seduction, so I am gonna compare and contrast them. Queen of seduction is again great for summer, but it's more ozonic than aquatic. It reminds me of morning dew. On me the most prominent notes are cedar, grapefruit, watery notes and a very gentle veil of jasmine. When I sniffed it initially, I instantly thought of Perceive dew by Avon and Naturelle by Yves Rocher. Within an hour the grapefruit becomes more prominent. Sillage is moderate and the scent is not very longlasting, but it's so fresh that I am sure one wouldn't mind to reapply often. However I prefer Blue seduction... it really smells blue to me. P.S. Queen of seduction is really similar to Acqua di Gioia.

The House of Banderas never disappoints! Another successful blind buy! To my nose, I get a very green and earthy, green tea note--not so much watery or aquatic. My nose was unable to detect much of anything else. Queen of Seduction is blended nicely. I decided to layer it with Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea--very nice and summer appropriate! The combination could definitely be a great signature scent for anyone who loves a fresh, earthy, tea fragrance. Longevity and silage for Queen of Seduction was average--it does need to be reapplied. Not a safe blind buy for everyone, but good for those who like this particular scent profile.

Extremely citrusy grapefruit opening and it retains that sharp citrus scent throughout. When I first sprayed it I didn’t get the acqua di gioia similarity at all but once it started drying down I could kind of see it. What I like about acqua di gioia is that it’s a nice mellow green aquatic, but queen of seduction is very far from mellow imo. Without comparing it to acqua di gioia any further, I think it’s a great perfume for the price. It’s a lovely fresh citrusy floral aquatic, it seems like it would be perfect to wear outside on a hot summer day. I can’t wait for the weather to get warmer here so I can really test it out.

I really enjoy wearing this in the kind of warm weather that makes you wish you were by a body of water. I find it fresh and inoffensive to wear, and doesn't give me headaches like some perfumes do in warm weather. I layer it with Versace Versence so I get the mix of aquatic and citrus that I really love in the summer. Unfortunately neither are particularly long lasting, but at least this one is cheap enough that I don't mind reaplpying during the day, and I'm not nervous about throwing it in my luggage for summer holidays!

It's a very aquatic, fresh, translucent kind of fragrance. Very comfortable. Can smell a tiny bit metallic at times I smell a woody dry out and a lot of pink pepper. Something very lotion like, but with a lot of personality and still very watery.

Lovely fresh scent. I believe this is firmly unisex leaning, as there is little to no sweetness. The grapefruit fades off very quickly which is great. It is a strong aquatic citrus, but more dry and tart than juicy. So cheap you can’t beat it.

Not something I would choose for myself, but still, I am very pleasantly surprised! It's a very nice and well-rounded scent, perfect for its price and for a celebrity scent. The florals stand out a lot on my skin.

Smells very much like Acqua di Gioia, it is a good affordable option if you like that perfume, just doesn't stay for so long. I enjoy using it for spring and summer days, quite subtle and fresh.

This is a good freshie that’s super affordable for summer. It’s nice, pleasant enough. However, it isn’t unique to me. It wears incredibly lightly but may be more potent in high heat. It’s fresh and clean and basically a skin scent on me. I personally enjoy a bit louder fragrance and grapefruit wears a little bit like body odor on me, so I’ve learned to lean more into orange or lemon accords in my freshies. If I wanted a light freshie for summer that wears lightly, I’d personally just use the old faithful, 4711. It’s not bad, definitely not seductive. More of an easy daytime summer scent for casual wear.

This perfume smells like if you crossed Eros EDT with Lanvin's A Girl in Capri. I do not own Acqua di Giola so don't know if that is a better reference (as many people seem to be making that comparison), but it's not a bad fragrance. Won't be replacing Eros EDT for me, but they would probably layer nicely.

It ha been reformulated and the new formula doesn't last at all. Weaker than a body mist from BBW (in new bottles, with the bold word queen, rather than the cute curved one). Meanwhile the old one was a very fresh nice aquatic.

To me, this smells quite unpleasant. I detected no watery notes and no similarity to Acqua Digiorno. It was slightly citrusy but overwhelmingly grassy. Actually it smelled like weeds. Cheap blind buy but I don’t recommend it.

at the begining smell ok, but after one hour smell just like sheap cologne.

Body Splash smells too neutral, clean Green Apple but watered, i mean, eau of water, totally inexistent!

A mix between Versace Eros and Acqua di Gioia. Clean, aquatic, fresh, like a lemonade on some Mediterranean beach, near the sea and fine sand under your feet. Summery but not overwhelmingly exotic. Thank God no coconut in it...! Suitable for any age, not too girly, not too mature... Longevity is decent, on me lasts up to 6-7 hours. Not necessarily a must have, but a very good balance between quality and price.

A very fresh almost sparkly citrus perfume with a lot of peonies. Only lightly floral. Opens big and intense on lemon, has a short life (2hrs). By the time the base notes should appear this scent is almost gone, can smell a bit of musky suede. Great for summer, for its initial blast of freshness. Doesnt smell like Acqua Di Gioia at all as it isnt sweet even a bit while ADG has a whole spoon of sugar in it.

A quite pleasant composition, soft, good balance of sweet and sour notes. Initially I smell citrus notes, the white flower notes show a bit later. It is polite and would work as an everyday perfume, office and work-friendly. Did not last too long on my skin though - moderate longevity at best, same with sillage. Nice bottle - classic style, tasteful, looks a lot like Elie Saab perfume bottles.

of course this was bound to happen in due time. Interesting bottle bottle, very art deco, which I love, will have to see how the juice holds up since both of the masculine counterparts were quite synthetic/generic and quite weak in silage. One can only hope the Banderas brand does not become a cop-out of watered down versions of promising fragrances from the past...

If you love the smell of Acqua di Gioia in the bottle and on paper, but hate it on your skin (like me!)- definitely give this a try. It fades pretty quickly, but for the price I don't mind reapplying it throughout the day. And when someone asks you what you're wearing, you get to say "Queen of Seduuuuuuction" with a thick accent (well, that's what I do)

It smells nice and fresh, a juicy fruity, non-sweet, vaguely shampoo-y fragrance. Uncomplicated, serene, clean, discreetly energizing. The bottle is beautiful and it was on sale. I was thinking of going back to buy it... but the scent did not last more than 1h30 on my skin. Unfortunate.

I love AB previous perfume, so I decided to blind buy. This has a grassy note which comes out even more once dried down. It will have its place in my collection, won't be my signature scent, but will be nice occasionally when the moment calls for it. A clean, fresh smell.

I dont see anyone saying this but it smells like Flamenco By Ramon Monegal. I didnt sprayed on my skin but, off the cap, it's Flamenco. That screechy sweet rosy raspberry is very proeminent. For the price, it's an excellent alternative.

Cucumber + cedar + lime + red currant? ("aquatic berry") + detergent. I agree with *octobertragedy* it smells like mix of Acqua di Gioia and Eros, also like watered down Eros EDP with cucumbers and without blackberey note.

Very weak. It’s difficult to smell something. I smell something slightly sweet, very soft powdery and aquatic. Nothing seductive and not worth the money. Final note 3/10
