Spirit Night Fever

Just got a 30ml decant of this from one of my swap partners on here and it's really nice! It's my first experience of Antonio Banderas (admittedly only his perfumes and not, tragically, of him himself!) and for this AB virgin it's a good one! It's quite sultry in a warm, fruity, berry'ish way with a hint of the citrus on my skin. I think the sandalwood gives it depth and its 'sexiness'. I don't really detect the specific flowers in it but there is a little unknown floweriness that my nose picks up as well but, on my skin at least, that's secondary to the fruitiness. It reminds me in some way of Chopard's Happy Spirit Magical Nights but I much prefer this as it's less 'jammy' and isn't oppressive, or annoying, to me the way Happy Spirit Magical Nights was / is! Despite the name, I think this could easily be worn during the daytime as much as at night because it's not cloying or overbearing in any way, to me anyway (and I'm not a big fan of heavy, strong perfumes!). So, my first taste of Antonio (I wish, ahem!) is a very positive one, I'm going to try and get myself a big bottle of this and I think Antonio deserves a big congratulary slap on the ass from me for doing so well with (at least one of) his perfumes !!

I got this from my grandma when I was 14 years old and wore it all throughout my freshman year of high school until it was empty. I kept the bottle on hand just because it takes me back to that year. So many memories! It's a lovely, fruity-incensey fragrance. (comparable to a lighter, easier version of something like Poison) An easy oriental. I got a bottle of Salome by Alkemia Perfumes and it smells soo much like this. It really took me back! So if anyone is looking for a dupe, definitely try Salome.

All I smell is incense. No fruit. Just sour incense. It makes me nauseous.

The dyrdown can certainly be unisex. If you want a warm weather incense scent this could be the way to go. It comes across as "good quality" too, if not "niche quality." Not too sweet either, though this isn't especially complex, for those who care one way or the other. I do get a bit more complexity than the person who called it sour incense, but I understand why someone would perceive it that way (it seems to depend upon how much one experiences certain kinds of notes). Yet another "cheapo" that is at least as good as many of the recent designers that sell for a lot more!

This is a gorgeous perfume for daily use. The sandlewood, plum, berry and incence are a luscious combination without being overpowering, yet pleasingly noticable to others. I have only been able to find it online and it was a blind buy, but I am so glad that I gave it a try. It is most definitely a fragrance that I will buy again and keep as a staple. I also recommend Spirit. Both are wonderful fragrances and such a steal for the price.

I instantly thought, yes! This is the one, my next blind buy! I go searching, but it's literally selling for $389USD!!!! Wtf! Soooooo rude! Looks like I won't be trying this anytime soon.

This IS a perfume i Forget i had ! It IS good to rediscover it. It is a good combinaison for a night out Also. It IS Sweet but well balanced. I smell the plum And the sandalwood.

Very briefly available at Walgreen's in my area. i bought it on clearance...nothing special.

Second short review : the plum is adorable. The lasting is impressive. Try it if you can !
