The Icon

As others have stated, this is a blue fragrance through and through. It's a fresh 'out of the shower' blue on the opening that transitions into more mature, sophisticated deep blue territory as time goes on. The scent profile, for me, is reminiscent of Sauvage EDT only in the beginning, then dries quickly into what's more on the side of Sauvage Parfum, with slightly bubble gummy sweet hints of Coach for Men or Jimmy Choo Man mixed in on the dry down. I believe this scent stands on its own. Projects at an arms length for the first hour or so, then hovers just above the skin for another hour, then a skin scent. Scent life is probably 4-6 hrs, but at the price point ($20 range for 100ml), spray away on first application and re-spray as needed to help this. Me personally, I enjoy the subtlety of this scent. With great quality for price (AB Fragrances have always been bangers in the celeb scent range), it has something that pulls people closer, and that's what you want in this type of scent I think. Not entirely original, but as I stated before I think it stands on its own and definitely draws positive attention. Great for any occasion, dresses up well and fits casually as well. Signature scent worthy. Age 25+. Glad I picked this one up

Unfortunately this might have been reformulated. The scent is sadly not as prominent as it was before and the cap quality is obviously worse. The scent is still similar, but somehow it lost its magic. I do still have my older bottle and could compare the two. The new version is toned down a bit. It is still good, but it's unfortunate that it had to be changed because this fragrance is the one that started my journey. Perhaps (and I do hope this is the case) it is only a bad batch. When I first smelled this i immediately knew that I had to buy it. I recognized the Sauvage DNA, but later determined that it's closer to Dylan Blue, although dirtier and rawer. It is fresh and masculine with some grittiness. You can get a bit bored of it if you use it every day though.

Love it! Although the performance is really average, the smell is amazing. I dont see a huge connection to sauvage, maybe a Little bit but not that much. I deffinetly like this one better. Its spicy and very luxorious, it reminds me the city of St.Moritz in Switzerland, full of beutiful cars and expensive things. Huge compliment factor, most of my exes loved it and talked about it many times. Deffinetly better for colder weather. I use around 5 to even 7 sprays. I love to smell extremally loudly so you should use like 3 or 4 to get around 5 or 6 hours.

It’s true when they say dynamite comes in small packages. I found this fragrance to be a smoothened out version of Dior Sauvage, I also got hints of Versace Dylan Blue, but for me I found this fragrance to be the perfect signature scent. Good for any setting- the office, school or the gym. I have owned a bottle of the Icon Elixir, which I found to be a bit more like an Axe deodorant. For anyone who wants to blind buy a good blue fragrance, I say go for this fragrance, I will be buying a 100 ml bottle after this one (50ml).

as a youngster myself for the price its worth it,it has that Sauvage DNA but a bit more serious and weaker it dose last on clothes tho.Good as a signature scent if ur on a buget pretty mutch good for any occasion.One problem that i have with it is that i go nose blind rlly fast the first time i smelled it i could feel the earthy and the woody smell on the dry down now i feel nothing,i can still feel the smell on clothes it smells spicy&fresh cant feel the dry down.(i got this from an airline while flying to Turkey lmao)

Love this. Very clean and fresh scent. I can smell the similarities to Sauvage, but not that much. For some odd reason I smell a little hint of CDNIM in the opening. A bit of a mature smelling fragrance and yes it's not unique. Really like the opening. Stays for quite a while even though it's an EDT, about 3 hours on skin and around 6+ hours on clothes (minimum/ intimate projection). On the dry down, it gives me a "DILF" vibes lol. (8/10)

I have over 50 frags in my collection, but this is the one my GF loves the most. Picked it up for 19€ (100ml) on a flight because I was bored and wanted a blue scent anyways. I was pleasantly surprised! It's blue, but not too blue for some reason. I can't stand Sauvage, but love the Icon. If you get the chance to buy this for a super cheap price: get it, you won't regret it.

I just tried this at the airport and WOW! Didn't see that coming... Fresh zesty grapefruit with black pepper. Just an explosion of this combo. Then aromatic sage and lavender make this scent just so pleasant and somehow happy. Not bad quality at all! Doesn't smell cheap by any means. I don't know how long gonna last but I am very impressed, especially thinking of the price

It is more Versace Dylan Blue than Dior Sauvage. Clean blue fragrance for spring. The longevity and sillage are low. It is because of the atomizer i guess. The atomizer sprays wide but not absorbs enough liquid. The more you spray the more longevity you get. Bottle is beatiful. I dont agree the comments that ICON lacks depth. It is good enough to challange BDC and VDB.

Bought this a few days ago and tested with a 16 hour duty, the scent still sticks onto my scrubs. Sillage is mild to moderate but I can still smell myself 5-6 hours in. Affordable price point, nice bottle design and can easily bring it in any of my bags. I like this perfume ^^

The Icon is for sure Antonio Banderas' version of Sauvage. I was going to write a more detailed review/experience but realized a previous commenter already said it perfectly. Refer to @caylemoore56's review. Perfectly stated.

Dylan Blue that goes freaking dirty. It starts completely like Dylan, but then goes right into a black pepper pit with some dirt inside. Great fragrance for a great value, and despite all the matches, smells unique.

actually very beautiful scent , a light and more fresh version of dior Sauvage , unfortunately longevity is poor , but after all a good cheapy for daily use or gym scent i really like it .

for me there is some similarity between this and sauvage , but im not satisfied with longevity, smell is good and nice btw...

An interesting fragrance that does not project to much but it does last on clothing for more then a day. The fragrange changes a bit after first opening the bottle, the more you use it, the more you'll notice that change and you'll probably like it more then first times. The smell? It could remind you of sauvage, but it does not smell like sauvage, it is missing that pepper note while other notes pop up and some are not there, it is also sweeter and not that fresh in comparison , the dry down is more close to sauvage elixir then to sauvage, i do not understand why nobody noticed this. It is like a toned down version of sauvage elixir and because of that, it made it possible to also wear in sommer, but only when not hot, it might get funky in hot climates. Anyway Picture this: Sauvage elixir and Sauvage had a child that does not screem, does not complain, just sits there and contemplates the whole time. He doesn't like the spotlight, and hates paparazzi. He's smart and calculate, does not talk for the sick of it, so he likes close encounters with not to much of a crowd whose laudness will cause him to retreat. He's character is the opposite to his "parents", but you can easily find the similarities when looking at them.

Blind bought this one, was on a good discount on Notino. Pleasant smelling fragrance. I personally like it a lot. The biggest downside is its longevity and projection. I think the projection is moderate for about an hour, after that it dies down (but you can still smell it on your skin). It might project more and longer if you shower in it, which you can, since 100ml is quite cheap. People around me do smell it but it's not very compliment pulling. I think this kind of fragrance would have more success in the intimate situations (dancing close or cuddling). It's a perfect gym fragrance too, since it's not very powerful and the scent profile is just the kind of smell that would not be annoying in the gym. I don't really get the Sauvage comparison, to me it smells a lot like Prada Carbon in the dry down with a more aromatic, playful twist. The bottle looks cool and the atomizer is great, sprays a huge mist with a pressure. In conclusion, I think it's a decent frag to pick up, but don't expect beast performance and projection. Very intimate fragrance.

This is not close to Sauvage at all. Despite the color blue, this isnt a sauvage clone. In fact, this isn't a clone at all but a stand alone fragrance. Of course it has the typical modern dna of a fresh, a little sweet, woody aromatic scent BUT with a 90s vibe which i appreciate a lot. Makes it more masculine, mature but extremely polite! It starts a bit like a Bleu de Chanel but more spicy and less citrusy. It dries down to a oakmoss based scent with sage and lavender as aromatic elements. It's very smooth, nothing harsh about it or cheap. The only problem is the performance which is not great. But for the price, It's understandable. The fact that it smells great is more than enough. I recomend it for people that have a small collection, people that need a "dumb reach" fragrance that smells good and masculine, and for people that like grabbing "under the radar" cheap gems, like me. Pretty decent, modern yet classic dna. I'm curious about the new Parfum version.

Ok so, I am a fan of Sauvage type blue scents and figured I'd give this one a try. I definitely understand the comparisons here but there are differences. This one is brighter to me and a little bit sweeter? I kinda feel it smells like luna rosa ocean edt a bit which isn't a bad thing. I put it on today at 7:30am and it lasted on my skin until 12pm and totally gone by 1pm. So, performance is like 4 hours which is to be expected for this price point. Overall though, I wouldn't pick this to wear out anywhere nice. There are way better options than this. However, for the gym or just to wear to the corner store or around the house, this is a nice scent. But again, you won't be reaching for this one on a date or a special occasion as I'm sure you have better in the collection as far as projection and longevity goes as well as depth to a scent.

Last summer I went to Spain, and while visiting places and enjoying the daily night life, I was constantly smelling this fragrance, and I liked it but I never stop a person to ask which fragrance was that. At the airport, I found it in the duty free section and bought it. I felt very lucky. I tried at home and...... it was sharp and harsh, not what I remember. But guess what, I let the thing macerate for a few weeks and now is a bit better, however, I have better fragrances to wear than this so I will let it go/swap. You know what the main problem was? It was me. I was sticking my nose where I applied the fragrance, and on my skin was harsh, but in the air was great. Nobody, except you will stick the nose that way. Most of the time, it’s about what is in the air. That’s how I should perceive fragrances.

Ok, guys ... how can anyone not like this, especially if you are a fan of Sauvage and to me, even more similar to Dylan Blue? I know that this DNA has been done so many times, but this fragrance came out in 2020 and is as wearable today as it was then. It starts off with a peppery, spicy citrus with a hint of lavender ... but it fairly quickly turns into a nice spicy, ambery, woody (sandalwood) drydown for a pleasant, MASCULINE scent. It only lasts 4-6 hrs, so give it a few extra sprays. This is a compliment magnet, just like my Dylan Blue ... but ... I paid under $15 for 6.7 ounces!!! This is a super safe, cheap blind buy ... discovery it TODAY!

it opens citrusy and you really get that grapefruit and some light pepper in the opening then it dry downs into mossy lavandery scent that smells masculine and very modern, its very fresh, it lasts 4-6 hours, projection is moderate, i cant really compare it to any popular blue fragrance but yeah that freshness is similar to dylan blue but not close at all, no sweetness, no synthetic notes like versace, it goes more towards bdc than dylan blue. I paid 30 euros for this, if you can get it under 20 its worth it, otherwise no. I would say its one of more mature blue fragrances

Very similar to Dior Sauvage and Prada Luna Rossa Carbon in smell. Opens up nice and fresh, and ends off with a woody dry down. This fragrance has a nice bubble effect of silage for the first hour and a half, and then closes off to become only noticeable as a skin scent for another 3 or 4 hours. good all rounder for any occasion. not the best out there, but it's a good all round signature scent that lasts reasonably long enough, and won't break the bank.

I bought this to wear at meetings with a more male audience where you need to blend in and people are less tolerant and open to niche, more authorial fragrances. Paid 21€ fo 100ml, it is a fragrance with a function, not really amazing, but does the job very well. I recommend this over any other masculine fragrance for regular use as I would rather put my money on more creative products but still need to fit the corporate world.

Light and easy on the nose but not long lasting neither good silage, I like the smell, and I can see myself wearing this while going for chores and short walks outside like shopping etc. I do agree with orthelos2013 regarding the scent being very gym friendly Aswell. I like this one. Blind bought it for a good price. I don’t smell the sauvage similarity like what reviewers and people told to be. Somehow i get a little hint of CDNIM but just a little 🤏🏼. It performs quite well. Longevity on my skin, i get around 3 hours. On shirt however it’s a different story, it’s like 3x of that. But yeah the projection doesn’t really do justice, as it only projects for like 2 hours. (8/10)

I feel like this is a great gym fragrance. It's like... Would you like to spray your Dylan Blue or Sauvage to the gym, but that just feels too expensive? Here's your solution! And in that case the fact that it doesn't last long is no problem at all, right?! The scent is nice, a little generic, but that makes it a safe blind buy. I paid 13€ for my 200ml bottle, so... It was a good purchase overall.

Very affordable fragrance that smells like Versace Dylan Blue to me. The thing is VDB last over 8 hours on my skin and this last about 6. This smells quality and I would not hesitate to buy it as a gift for someone. I have Dior Sauvage, Bleu De Chanel, and YSL Y EDP so I don’t need another blue in my collection. But like I said it’s a good gift fragrance or first fragrance buy for a newbie.

Wow not bad for the price. I get the Dior comparisons , but is different. Its remembers me of something but don't know what, something associate with paper :D, something when i was younger. Also is kind of sharp which i like it and a bit of bublegummy. I like the wifs I'm getting from my hand, addictive. Edit: Kind of in the air gives me Light Blue Intense by D&G

It's very likeable and affordable if you are looking for that Savage DNA but its not a replica. It is its own thing. Average Men's blue frag. Not offensive. Just a good clean smell. I wear it to work a lot because I work in a steel mill so not to waste my good stuff. $25 bottle you really can't go wrong. My wife likes it too.

Im not sure if I love this or just tolerate it . It's a really fresh smelling frag but the performance just like other Antonio Banderas frags it's really average it doesn't last to long but not to little . It's an ok smell but the price that I paid for this doesn't really justify it's performance

Nose Note #184 As if Icon Elixir should have been first, but they released this watered down version It's actually nice. Manly, shampoo-type Sauvage-aspiring and nicely done. But if you are looking for a Sauvage dupe - this is not it. Not enough pepper and the citrus is different

A good budget friendly option for a fresh, daily wearable scent that doesn't smell default. I actually found it to be quite long lasting in contrast to some other reviews. Can't say the same about sillage, it is pretty moderate. Overall really good in terms of value for money.

Got it for 13 dollars at a local walgreens. Smells good for price point and im happy with it. Nothing groundbreaking just a regular fresh blue fragrance. Gonna be using it for the office every now and then.

This is such a nice 90's vibe. A safe daily choice, perfect for hot weather. Longetivity of 5h max, but as I got an USD18 100ml tester bottle I don't bother too much with that.

Great value for the prize! Somehow its similar to the famous blue fragrances but not identical and still it is kinda unique in its own. Fresh and spicy with some lavender.

200ML for 21USD(on sale) Can’t complain much after looking at the pricing. Average blue perfume that will probably last longer if you just spray a bit more.

Bought a 100ml for $25, it lasts about 5 hours and the projection is just pretty bad, when hugged people would comments that i smell fresh and masculine

I sneeze from it during the pollen allergy season in the spring. Probably because of the spices. It has a VERY strong projection.

It's more expensive than armaf odyssey wild one gold edition, and weaker. But still usable, and truly a very pleasant scent

It's a decent perfume. Got it for a christmas present.. Honestly yeah It's an obvious take to copy dior sauvage even the bottle is similar.. But for me the pepper is just too damn much.. It makes me nauseous just smelling it and it's super harsh to my nose.. If you don't like very harsh peppery fragrances please avoid this. EDIT: After letting it sit for a few months not using it.. you know what? I think it's starting to grow on me.. the pepper isn't as strong anymore to my nose and it's starting to turn into this kind of like blue and green fragrance mix

Scent DNA is in the same space as Dior Sauvage but softer, smoother, lighter, and simplified. Safe-to-wear, inoffensive, pleasant scent. Intimate projection and stays for 40-70 minutes on my skin. Great for the gym, for sports, for quick outdoor activities, and for quick errands. Good for quickies. Can be worn daytime and nighttime. I wear this when I want to avoid assaulting people's noses with my louder fragrances and when I'm in the mood to stay lowkey.
