Agua Brava

the first time I smelled this fragrance was a very long time ago, I was 7 years old (1970), and my father that was a heavy user of aftershaves/colognes (most of the regular ones), he decided to break the normal routine of buying the common BRUT, AQUA DI SELVA, PINO SILVESTRE, SKIN BRACER, and OLD SPICE and he went for something more "sophisticated" in a manner of speak, he brought home a 100ml of AGUA BRAVA Eau De Cologne splash bottle; I thought the bottle was very unique, the green colour and the design were two things that really caught my eye; when he wore the cologne after a shower, I've got hooked by the herbal-aromatic and dry woody chypre kind of smell of this manly and awesome fragrance, it was so sublime, unique in a way, different from the rest; it had something enchanting that I could not describe but that fragrant dry woody chypre note filled the air around like an aureole of wonderful natural scents, aromatic herbs, and mosses. So, I decided for the second time(15 years ago) to retrieve that fantastic aroma of AGUA BRAVA once again and got a 100ml bottle splash of this magnificent Eau de cologne; the memories came back straight away to my head when I wore it, I went back in time, I remembered some of those great and wonderful times of my youth that now are just stored in my memories and old photos, this fragrance was a good reminder of my great and happy past; I wanted to have this fragrance again so I ordered a 500ml splash bottle of AGUA BRAVA to enjoy this magnificent-manly-mature and sophisticated cologne that is a vivid example of how a man's fragrance has to smell; the rest is just history full of memories and good times, but AGUA BRAVA is there whenever I need to smell it for brining back those times to me; the green color and oval shape bottle represents sophistication, maturity, and self-confidence for those men out there that apreciate the good quality from the past, and this cologne keeps its image of strong-rough man that knows his gender and stands on his ground. Puig house has wonderful fragrances and I have enjoyed most of them, especially BRUMMEL and QUORUM(of which I am an everyday heavy loyal user); simply I love QUORUM as my dearest and most beloved aftershave/cologne that only ARAMIS(original) can share its place as my second beloved one. Now I decided I need no more fragrances as my time of trying different colognes and aftershaves have just gone; I keep only those fragrances that I really love and wear YATAGAN, ARAMIS(original), QUORUM, AGUA BRAVA, BOGART(signature) and BRUMMEL are my choice and I have no intention of changing as I find in these 6 fragrances that they suit and mix perfectly with my character and personality, so I do not need different ones anymore.

It's in theory, a sport version of Quorum. (Or Quorum is rather Agua Brava Le Parfum, XD) Bright mediterranean lemon and bergamot citrus pop in the opening. I don't perceive the herbs in the top except for a camphorous aspect, almost mentholated, which i guess is a nuance of the bayleaf. Holds woods into the heart, but interestingly enough, the base is not as wood or leather - forward. On my skin, the base of Agua Brava ends up smelling like an ever so slightly sweet musk, with citrus peel and a slight soap, oakmoss facet to it. Its longevity is quite frankly very average, and bear in mind the box of the 2022 formulation says "Eau de Cologne" but in the back says it has 85% of alcohol, that meaning the remaining percentage is fragrance raw material / Oils / absolutes, so, in theory, should be dubbed an EDT. Quite old fashioned for some, but i think this on summer smells just great, and if a 15 year old thinks he can pull it off, i'm sure he can try it and with even this fragrance he'll receive compliments, since they come with your image and personality being likeable, not just on scent. PD: On current formula it still has natural oakmoss, mentioned in the box as Evernia Prunastri extract. Oakmoss is not banned but rather restricted to a very low usage of 0.1% of final product in the 4th category as of IFRA's latest ammendments, which corresponds to fragrance. I'd say a safe blind buy if you want a clean scent, and if you wanna feel as if you're in a 1960's bossa nova song or movie in the beach. Blessings.

If I was stranded on a deserted island and could have only one fragrance, it would be Agua Brava. I have used it since 1971, bought my first bottle in Rota, Spain. There are striking similarities shared by Agua Brava, Pino Sylvestre Original and Acqua di Selva...but to me at least, AB 'begins' where Pino Sylvestre Original and Acqua di Selva both leave off...maybe it's the musk/leather in the drydown. There's just something "more" in the makeup of AB. And in my humble opinion, it's a genuine bargain. Now...that said, recent bottles of AB don't seem to have the strength or projection of the earlier stuff. Or maybe, just maybe...MY body's metabolism and chemistry have changed. Still, it's my absolute, all-time favorite fragrance. A tip: to get the most longetivity out of AB, try layering it with either Pino Sylvestre Original or Acqua di Selva. Since both Pino and Acqua di Selva are EDTs, they can extend the experience. Another tip: use the deodorant! It will also help extend what we all love about Agua Brava!

The negative reviews are actually the ones that drew me the most to wanting to blind buy this. “Smells like you cooked a big Italian meal and then went walking in the woods”, “it’s great if you want to smell like a 50 year old priest”, dude that sounds different and fascinating. I don’t know of anything else that smells remotely like this. It’s got notes that include bay leaf, and it’s super inexpensive. My wife loves it on me. It feels very old fashioned and distinct in an international way. This is a working man’s scent. A firm handshake, direct eye contact, a soft sonorous voice, calloused hands, a word of encouragement, dependably calm and collected. If Aqua Brava was a man, he would be all of these. I would sacrifice half or more of my fragrance wardrobe for an edt version of this. I’ve smelled hand sanitizer with better longevity. PUIG!!! GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT!!! Note: I have almost 20 different scents I have to choose from and THIS is the ONLY one my wife rates a 10/10.

I saw a review of this on TikTok of all places. For the price it was an easy blind buy, and I'm so glad I did. I recognized it when I smelled it. In the early 90s, at my first job, I worked in the building that also housed offices for the Spanish consulate. Often I'd be in the elevator with one of their staff, an incredibly elegant older gentleman, always perfectly attired in double-breasted suits. This, along with cigarettes, is what he smelled like. Now, this is a very light scent, but it doesn't disappear, at least on me. It does not have any real sense of 'sillage' of course, but I still smell it on skin (and particularly on fabric) hours later - but more in the way a soap might leave the skin smelling. For something from the 60s this smells so fantastic, compared to so much garbage that put out that has no real scent but chemical abbrasivneess. If you have any interest in a 'gentlemanly' scent with a side of sexiness, this is the easist blind buy you'll make.

This is maybe the first fragance i choose in my life when i was a child. then many years has pass (something like 30) Agua Brava was discontinued here in México; and yesterday i recived it in my home (from Germany). I I I never thought that i will love it; the last time i had it i was when i was around 10 years old... and for the price... ther was no risk at all. Here is what happends.. THIS IS AMAZING Think in somethin between Tom Ford Italian Cypress and Frederic Malle French Lover... but 39dlls for 200 ml... it ́s true; in deep on my soul, i think that agua Brava makes me a Fragance Collector and lover even when i didn ́t konw it. Great fragance I am in love with all that what this makes me in my life. Great memories; great woody fragance. you can buy it blind, with out having any risk. :)

I still have 3/4 of a massive 500 ml splash bottle of Agua Brava ....... I think this is my second or third bottle, I am not sure, but I am sure of getting another one as soon as this one finishes, it's a warm, woody and kind of herbal cologne, excellent for wearing it on those hot sunny summer days, it projects well for two hours then the intensity goes down but still, people around you can smell it, I have had people (ladies) asking me "what is that masculine fragrance you are wearing", very macho and enchanting scent ....... although I am the guy that doesn't care about compliements at all, it makes me realise that the cologne despite the reformulations still keeps some of its charaters and that strong macho personality that people find it atractive and seductive.

Right after the momentary blast of lemon at the very beginning, it's the fascinating herbal and herbaceous scents that make me feel like standing in autumn woods with dry and fresh herbs and foliage around me, and draw my memory back to my childhood. When I over spray it -- because it's damn so light -- others perceive it as herbal medicine (in a good sense). It's for spring, summer and fall (10°C-40°C), day and night. The only downside is its projection and longevity, which must be compensated with over 10 spritz and frequent re-applications. It noticeably wanes since the moment I spray it, and is mostly gone within 2h however much I apply. But I still love it. 500ml from spring to fall. Outdoors and alone. I love it.

Count me in. I have been trying a new 100 ml spray bottle this week for the first time and really enjoy this. As indicated, it's in the same pine and woody vein as Acqua di Selva and particularly Pino Silvestre, but a bit dryer and more linear. I think the notes have it right--more bay leaf than sweet basil and oregano. Less citrus, and more twiggy. A little mesquite. Definitely an EDC in terms of lifespan, but stronger performance than a citrus-heavy EDC like the Guerlain eaux series. It's good while it lasts, and then you can either reapply or go with something else. Very pleased with this woody cheapie. A lovely fragrance. No wonder it's been around for more than 50 years. I'll keep coming back.

Very spicy and herbal in a good way. Originally old school.(80s) Initial blast of citrus is very strong and synthetic but still ok. This part resembles Ferrari-Radiant Bergamot a lot. After first 15 mins its a lot of nice frankincense . Nice bay leaf too. Reminds of some medicinal ointments too due to the spice obviously. For the 5$ for 50ml price range, this is a must try and nothing to complain about. Worth trying and worth keeping in a collection. Not a weak one. Projectivity and longevity are not bad. Its a beauty for the price-range. You also get traces of the following ones in this - a bit of Tabac-Original, Old-Spice etc.

Epic Journey Into the Bottled Yonder, 039 ------------------------------------------------------- Purchased June 2017 Lovely stuff. A most excellent woody, pine citrus of old. This era was when "freshies" were becoming refined for the first time, easier on those nose but still bloody bold for the typical man in a typical office/tradesman job. More woody citrus than Pino and Acqua di Selva. Just one more thing. The cap was poorly made, the sleeve not staying in the woody looking cap that you tug on. It always clung to the atomiser collar. Super glue fixed that and I can enjoy it in its intended design.

Being a fan of (almost) all the innovative mediterranean fragrances (from D's Cool Water to Annick Goutal's Sables and beyond), I can not stand to the Puig's Agua Brava. I really love it. In Spain, it is cheap as a glass of wine. But, on a man's skin everywhere on this planet, this scent is a precious game-changer. Virile and always fresh, timeless and crispy - that's its legend. From 1968 until tomorrow, Puig continues to offer (on a leather plate) a pine-lavander-sandal treasure-juice. Reasonably good in terms of longevity & sillage, even in it's "eau de cologne" form. A deserved 8,7/10.

After the disappointment of One Man Show, this was, at risk of sounding a bit dramatic, a revelation. It opens just slightly lathery, from the lavender, with the sage, lemon and juniper really making the opening grand. The lavender just smooths out the sharp edges. As it dries down, you get this amazing grandma's kitchen herbaciousnes, with the moss, vetivee, and patchouli just barely under girding it with a light, smooth earthiness. This is gorgeous and, at it's price point, there's no excuse not to have it. Amazing, Z-tier men's chypre that really seems to be in a class of it's own.

To my nose this is a lot like Pino Silvestre, but more complex, richer and better blended and with a more interesting dry-down. Very bright and sunny citruses and pine with herbs and sweet cloves on a leather base. Very cooling on a hot summer day after a shower. I have the splash on bottle. Very natural smelling juice. The first 10 minutes are intense and it dries down to a very nice soothing and uplifting scent. An invigorating mood lifter.

Agua Brava!! I was a kid in early 1970's when I smelled this - I also remember the advert on the TV. The story now is: Mediterranean sunny holidays walking with your other half holding hands, to the one side is the sea - to the other side the tavernas & cafes, passing through other couples and families..... And always with the calm satisfactory smile on the face!!

Fantastic. Sharp piney punch like a walk through the woods on a cool summer morning. Lavender, herbs, hints of citrus. Very old school, classic, and manly. Not a modern frag for nights out but more of a personal scent for daily running around and feeling old school classic. Scent: 7.5 / Sillage: 7 / Longevity: 5.5

I have bought several bottles of this, it has such a unique smell. To me it smells like mineral spring water, salt, iodine. The mineral notes given by that mixture of aromatic plants it's just beautiful. For a cologne, the longevity is decent, about 4 hours, I use it more as an aftershave cause I really love it.

Very herbaceous, woody and masculine. The citrus notes are attenuated during drydown, replaced by an oregano, bay leaf and cedar scent. Although this one dates to the late 1960s, there is nothing to suggest that it's out of fashion. Agua Brava is a timeless classic.

sometimes when i feel tired of all those modern sweet/synthetic scents, i fall back on agua brava to take that nice bath of refreshing masculine herbs i'm 25 and i love it, and women do too.. the bad thing is that it lasts only a little

Again a good example of how perfumes work differntly on everybody's skin. Although it is an EDC when I use it after my shave, I can smell it on my face the next day... Good stuff manly after shave.

Amazing budget cologne. For like 20$ you can get yourself a timeless spicy, woody, and very masculine cologne. Great for hiking, fishing, and all other outdoor activities. 100% would reccomend.

Quite spicy, woody and warm,not quite lasting but very interesting, wore it for years as daily cologne, very classic, serious and recognizable.

A lovely woody, herbal fragrance. Not strong, but so cheap you can spray generously. If only they did an EDP of this.

It's cheap and it is an amazing scent. It doesn't last long though. I would give it an 8/10.

#134 of My Fragrance Journey - Antonio Puig Agua Brava: What freshness smelled like before freshness became a category Ever smell something and just get it - get why people thought about masculinity so differently a few decades back? Not better, not worse, just a totally different shape. That's what Agua Brava did to me the first time I sprayed it. It doesn't try to charm you out of the gate. No shower-gel brightness, no fruit doing its best impression of likeable. Lemon and bergamot show up, sure, but they're gone in about ninety seconds - they're just holding the door open for something rougher. Sage, lavender, juniper, all at once, and a lot of it. Less like a fragrance, more like you've walked into a landscape that was already there before you showed up - dry grass, hot stone, pine sap cooking in the sun. It's got a confidence that doesn't seem to care if you like it. Which, weirdly, is exactly why I do. Once that citrus burns off - fast, by the way - it gets heavier. Darker. Bay leaf, pine needle, clove, thyme, all pushing in. Honestly, there's a stretch where it smells like someone walked through a hillside with an armful of herbs and dropped the whole lot into a cast-iron pot. I mean that as a compliment. Mostly. If your only reference point is the laundry-musk, clean-white-tee, blue-bottle world, this is going to feel like a confrontation. Not loud. Just completely uninterested in what you were expecting from it. It smells like it belongs somewhere, not like it belongs in a market category. Then the drydown shows up and actually starts showing off a bit - oakmoss, patchouli, vetiver threading through, and suddenly there's shadow and texture you didn't get in the first twenty minutes. Dry, earthy, weathered - like an old stone building. Not messy. Just lived-in. And here's the thing people get wrong about scents like this - they call it a "man's man" fragrance, like it's performing something. I don't think it is. It feels more independent than it feels masculine. No validation needed, no interest in reinventing itself for whoever's twenty-five this year. That kind of self-possession is, oddly, the most modern thing about it. The real letdown isn't the composition - it's the clock. For about an hour, it's genuinely magnificent; the room shifts shape around it, the herbs glow. Then it just starts leaving. Faster than something with this much character should be allowed to. By hour three, you're basically working off memory, which feels a little unfair given what it promised at minute ten. Still, at this price, hard to stay mad about it. If anything, the fading becomes part of the charm. Like a film you keep rewatching even though you already know exactly how it ends. Vibe: dry pine, hot stone, sea air through a window Performance: loud for an hour, then gone by hour three Fit: hot weather, slow mornings, anyone who wants to know what "fresh" meant before marketing got hold of it Does this read as timeless to you, or does it just read like history? Agua Brava is a great herbal-woody fragrance. It's a very dry, masculine scent without a hint of sweetness. If you only prefer smooth/sweet/fruity scents, Agua Brava is not for you. The opening is a pretty harsh citrus/lemon scent that reminded me of lemon Pledge furniture polish. That quickly disappears in a few minutes as the pine and herbs reveal themselves. For the herbs, mainly noticed bay leaf and thyme. As it continues to evolve, the wood scent appears while the pine disappears. The herb scent remains. Takes about 20 to 30 minutes. Left with a really awesome herbal/woody scent. As time progresses, it gets a little soapy and is pretty much a skin scent after about 2 hours. The bottle shape is interesting - same as the Bocksbeutel - ram's scrotum - used for Franconian wines in Germany. Appropriate for a masculine fragrance. Unfortunately in this case, the ram's nut sack is empty lol. The performance of this juice sucks. No need to worry about over doing it with this stuff. I'll use 12 to 15 sprays on my body and another 4 on my shirt to get average projection for about an hour or two. It's really a shame since the scent itself is awesome. Antonio Puig could have a real winner here if they amped up the power. Despite the weakness, I like the fragrance and will use it typically for the morning when I know I'll be switching to something else in the late morning or after lunch. Could also be useful if you need something that is very tame for a specific situation. Appropriate for any season and any time of day or night with the caveat it won't last and you'll need to reapply. I don't associate scents with age, so appropriate for men of all ages. Young men and teens have to be aware, of course, that Agua Brava is the opposite pole from today's popular sweet/fruity scents. If you like dry, masculine, woody/herbal type fragrances, this is any easy blind buy, especially at its price. Best to buy the 17 ounce size (literally half a quart/half a liter - hahaha) because you'll need to apply a lot. lol

Agua Brava will likely feel dated to a casual or stereotypical sport or blue fragrance lover or someone looking for a night-out 'panty-dropper' (such an imbecile term) but it's complex, pleasant, characteristic and affordable enough to be a collection-worthy fragrance for a man with an interest in the hobby. It's similar to Pino Silvestre but drier and if you're a millennial or older, especially Mediterranean, you're probably in for a flashback to your childhood. The top and heart of Agua Brava is a scent of middle-class white collar gentlemen from the seventies Mediterranean out and about their work day, and the drydown is a scent of the same people with unbuttoned shirts gardening in the front yard after their workday is over. While it's technically eau de cologne, its' opening is loud and powerful, herbal (bay leaf!) and spicy with almost overpowering sillage. This is something that eases gradually over the next two hours and gives way to mellow green notes of Mediterranean pine and slightly darker notes of oakmoss, musk, leather and vetiver. Projection is much more modest in this stage and more appropriate for work. Warm and sunny and masculine—but somehow still dark—base notes are detectable on skin for almost the whole day. Wear this if you want to pull of a postcard-mediterranean feel or need a seventies style vita-e-bella vibes. I find Agua Brava suitable for all seasons, but it needs to be sunny outside. Drydown can function at nighttime as a chic sort of 'out-and-about-for-the-whole-day' scent. I need to mention the bottle! It looks like a medicine, a potion or a bottle of some forgotten heirloom wine—very unpretentious and such a great fit for the fragrance inside. Atomizer is great quality, too. While Agua Brava is certainly affordable and a great bang for buck, try not to blind-buy it: you might find it too dated, too culinary and too overpowering but try to give it a wear or two because it's a complex, classic and rich fragrance with significance.

It was in the 80s when my mom brought home a few cartons of this stuff. The pharmacy company she was working that time gave away 50ml bottles as corporate gifts. My brother and I took a bath in that stuff. We had no idea what we were doing. We were probably driving the whole school bus crazy. We were wearing cheap leatherette jackets and always had a bootle of this stuff on us. Lavender, Citrus, some Wood chips. Dirt cheap and Puig at its peak. Take a shot to find the YouTube video that Puig used to market this gem. You will not believe your eyes, trust me. Even today I buy a bottle now and then. Just to take me back in memory lane. Fragrances are a great hobby. So if you're getting tired of your latest L'Immensite acquisitions, grab a bootle of Agua Brava at the discounters. Wear it over the weekend and imagine what men were all about in the 60s. It sure was a totally different time.

I used this as a kid, finished a 50ml bottle my father gifted me. Yes, this one takes me places. Update 07/07/2025: Received a new bottle today. First spray of current formulation, bottle batch 419011 from July 2024, and this is only but a memory of what it was. Strangely I get a sort of fruit loops scent at the opening, with some woods in the background. Need to wear it a bit to see how it develops and write more about. Update 08/08/2025: Dry down more like what I remember, longevity is quite bad, sillage not great. This will be kept for nostalgia, but not quite usable unless for short-lived moments of woodiness after shave probably Update 09/09/2025: Opening is better, still "fruity loopy" (citrus) but better blended with the woods - not as powerful as my original kid bottle, but works for me when I want something nice to wear at home after a long day.

I was LMAO with the last review about this "terrible liquid" as "feelhot" said... but I think this cologne has its uniqueness, and is not for everyone but is totally masculine and I still would remember its notes if I come across with someone wearing it. I think back in the 90's when I wore it in a evening night out, I enjoyed just splashing it freely because it wasn't even a spray bottle, those years when cologne price were lower if you choose to buy the splash bottle, and I was not worrying about annoying people around me. Mostly going to the gay bar or gay place... and never got a complaint. I've never tried Pino Sivestre so I can not say if they smell similar or not but about Agua Brava I don't think is something I would wear now, since the times had changed as my taste too but I think this not a bad cologne and definitely is a very manly scent.

I agree with Kanak. For an Indian nose, the first few minutes of Agua Brava are pretty funny as the top notes remind of a locally popular mosquito repellent called Odomos. The first five minutes smell more like a herbal chemical warfare with a nostril-bewildering mess of notes. But one needs to be brave and patient to sustain for another hour or so to see what gem of a juice is this. The drydown is fantastic. After about three hours, it stays close to my skin and i can sniff it for another five hours or so. I think one way to use it is to spray it generously on clothes two hours before wearing them. :-) But for its thrilling start, this one is a master piece.

Bright citrus, dry herbs and spices. This is a cologne with only 2-3 hours of longevity, uninvasive scent and mild projection. That actually works in its favor, because Agua Brava is not at all a dressed-up going-out perfume. Instead, this is something I would wear as an aftershave-type cologne, or as a pick-me-up when I get up in the morning to start my day, doing errands until I hit the shower. I got a 500ml bottle (without an atomizer) for a little under 15 USD, so I pour this into a small atomizer and spray liberally. At this price, I would highly recommend it.

Well, since I had not much to lose buying 500 ml for 25$, I blind bought it. I was expecting way too much more pines, instead I got light and pleasant citrusy spicy-herbal scent. I like it for sure, my wife loved it, too. Lasts 30 min tops, but that's alright with me in this case. Huge bottle is another thing to be fond of. I see myself wearing it after shower or going for a walk in the evening before going to rest. It's nice and refreshing, I'd definitely recommend to try it, I'm sure most will at least not regret having it and enjoy putting it on at times

Hmm. This is one of my very few blind buys, because it's so cheap that you can't find samples. As a quick take, I like it! This is manly and rustic. Strong scent of thyme. It smells halfway between a classic men's cologne and a delicious soup base. :) For something "cheap as chips", I am pleasantly surprised to not be getting a headache so far. I will update this with further thoughts if any come to mind. Oh, one more thought. I am mad at myself for buying the tester, which doesn't come with the cool wood cap. Blast!

Agua Brava is a unique masculine dry herbal scent. It gives a very unsweetened, natural/realistic outdoors impression. It is too weak for the skin, though, at least on me. No matter how much I spray, it will not project and doesn't last all that well. In my view, that makes it a poor value, because although inexpensive, it gets used up quickly. I will try spraying it on clothing instead and see what that does to the performance and value.

One of my first fragrances when I started this journey over 20 years ago. I ́ll be honest... I bought it because it was VERY inexpensive. This was back in the late 90s and didn ́t have much money as a teen. I really enjoyed it and smelled classy to me, but longevity was average to poor. Years later I saw it and the price was still inexpensive. What a great cheapie! Now, If they could only make this juice last longer...

As a child I would sneak a drop of this off the shelf. The bottle belonged to my late Spanish uncle. I never thought in terms of feminine/ masculine, just what smelt interesting or wonderful. I look at the notes now and realise that I love them and seek them out in life. In the park or in cookery or in perfumes. Maybe Agua Brava was my training wheels!

Agree it does smell a bit like Pino, but I like this one way better. It's smooth, manly, fresh without being citrusy. Excellent value for money. I keep the empty bottle just to sniff it now and again. It's amazing the way juices used to smell and even if the bottle has been dry for donkeys, I can still get a very strong whiff of pine and oakmoss.

Agua Brava... ...is compared a lot to Pino Silvestre and Acqua di Selva although to me it is closer to the latter because if the more prominent citrus notes in the opening which Pino Silvestre is lacking. Pino is more herbal and woody (pine). All three are classics and bring mediterranean feeling to your home.

Es una fragancia discreta, se siente el olor a pino, lavanda y cítricos. Me hace acordar a un bosque. Personalmente me gusta, la usaría para caminar en un día con sol. También es entendible que haya cierta gente que no comparta el sentimiento.

It ́s a very fresh herbal/pine/wood cologne. If you like pine, as I do, this is very nice and long lasting. It is in fact better than nice. I believe the one I have is one formulation away, it has a line on the bottle below Agua Brava.

This really is a gorgeous cologne; it's just too bad that the longevity is terrible. I agree with RonB in that all my aftershaves outperform this as well. You can literally spray 20 times and barely detect the scent not long after.

Smells very herbal during the dry down but the initial spray is a lemon blast. I mostly use this after showering or while outside doing work. Its not very strong but that is to be expected with an EDC. Bravo Agua Brava!

I Know about this fragance since I was a child, my father used to wear it, sometimes I do, it a everlasting fragance, cheaper and finest than many lotions of France, dominant, smells clean, remember antique perfumists.

Wonderful. For the price of a song, you get a mild-but-very-present traditional masculine ... with enough of a twist to qualify as "drugstore niche" here in the USA. A versatile new favorite that I would recommend.

A traditional cologne that i tend to blend with Yatagan...sometimes i spray this on the clothes and Yatagan on myself; great smelling woody and not overwhelming fragrance. Smells of herbs, citrus and wood. 80/100

Agua Brava are very great for foggy or cloudy, rainy weather in springtime or autumn season and in outdoors. Of course not for summer and not for any sunny days. Longs up to 6 hours in face skin.

Good but my wife tells me this smells like meat spice. Edc blend with edc performance, there is nothing strong or surprising about this. Better off with Pino Silvestre original.

Nice herbal fragrance , I really like it and used to wear this on holidays . I too have mixed this with yatagan & enjoy the mixture as i find yatagan on its own too offensive .

Another one great cologne turned into a synthetic cheap mess. Really not wearable anymore. Two absolutely great classics that is now a waste, Quorum and this.
