Aqua Quorum

People will surely regret their initial judgments when this fragrance becomes extinct in the next few years. The prices are already soaring, despite its consistent affordability of $10-12 for a 3.4 oz bottle over the past 25 years. Given its modest pricing and stylishly simplistic bottle design, it appears to be following a similar fate as Pino Silvestre Sport, another beautiful and straightforward flanker that I deeply regret not stocking up on. However, it is crucial not to be deceived by comparisons to other widely marketed fresh aquatic fougères from the mid-90s. Aqua Quorum is far from being a basic aquatic, even though it might attempt to present itself that way. If one can overlook the initially marketing-friendly openings of Polo Sport and Coolwater, Aqua Quorum blossoms into a fresh gasoline-like honeysuckle floral citric aquatic, surpassing the ambitions of Polo Sport. The transformation typically begins within 20 minutes of application. The masterful blend of freesia, geranium, and lavender results in a luminous, waxy grapefruit floral aquatic experience. Initially refreshing and sharp, it gradually reveals subtle complexities in the middle and base notes. Transitioning from a damp mossy essence to a sweet, ambery natural leather, it achieves a delicate yet intricately layered composition. The oakmoss and lavender impart a gasoline-like sweetness that carries the florals and amber. This fragrance is truly magnificent and suitable for every season. However, I believe it has been discontinued, as its availability is rapidly diminishing across all markets. I recommend seizing the opportunity to acquire it while you can. For enthusiasts of enigmatic fragrances and aquatic fougères, this gem deserves a place in your collection. It is destined to be regarded as a cult classic in the years to come, showcasing its subtly unique characteristics and overall mastery within the realm of fresh aquatic scents. With medium sillage, 3-5 sprays should project its captivating aroma over six feet for approximately seven hours. When caught in a summer breeze, the scent, although somewhat familiar and clichéd, mysteriously transforms into something ethereal and undeniably beautiful. It evokes the image of a damp forest adorned with sweet flowers and surrounded by natural gas deposits near mossy pools of water. The fragrance exudes a remarkably natural aroma, accentuated by a distinct haunting note of honeysuckle and lemon. In my opinion, it deserves a rating of 9.5 out of 10. If you know, you know.

What the..!!! Did I just got a better performing brother of Polo Sport? I need to give it some time but from initial sprays side by side, wow! Aqua Quorum indeed smells like Polo Sport a lot! I have used Polo Sport both during original formulation and then the reformulation. I recently got again the original Cosmair bottle of Polo Sport. I also owned Calvin Klein Eternity, which I totally get how people may find certain notes similar. Opening: I think here it's the hardest to make a distinction between AQ and PS. They both open zesty fresh blast with citruses and levander. The prominent mint note in PS makes the only difference. Mid: In 5 minutes, their directions start to differ slightly. Aqua Quorum keeps its simplicity, getting a wee bit warmer, rounded probably leather and amber playing a role here. The ginger, rose and artemisia in Polo Sport (hard to detect when smelled alone but easy while comparing to Aqua Quorum) gives a slight sourish note to the scent. I think at this point I am impressed by Aqua Quorum (keeping in mind as the underdog), it's sweeter and warmer, and believing this could be where people get CK Eternity vibes. Funny enough, I even get hints of A&F Fierce somewhere here...Maybe Versace's Dylan Blue too...Hidden in the deep, I get Cool Water notes at the same time. Drydown: Is similar to midnotes in AQ, linear. All notes are now settled down but it still feels like a perfect blend of Cool Water, Dylan Blue, A&F Fierce and CK Eternity. THere's nothing sour, sharp, dirty - it's just warm and fresh, very clean. Polo Sport on the other hand, dries down woodier, muskier and that sourish note still lingering, I believe it's still rose, rosewood and the artemisia note (like licorice, anise)! I never noticed this until comparing with another fragrance like AQ. Very interesting experience. At this point I can't say they are similar anymore, but still comparable. Overall, do not buy Aqua Quorum with hopes to get Polo Sport for cheaper. They are very similar in the opening, but then not so much which is the bigger portion of the journey. Polo Sport is simply way too complex and makes Aqua Quorum very linear in comparison. If you need to make a choice, even though Polo Sport would be "my" first choice (as I have emotional bonds, being my first ever fragrance) I say go for Aqua Quorum. You can't get this for this price out of anything else.

Every now and then we find one of those scents that completely transports us to a different time. Usually it's not something super artistic or deep, but something that drags out old memories that we didn't even remember we had. For me, this is one of those scents. It takes me back to lazy summer mornings, sunlight streaming in through the windows, days when I had comparatively fewer cares in the world. It gets compared to lots of things: Eternity, Cool Water, and most correctly, Polo Sport. It's got Harry Fremont's name on it so it shouldn't be a surprise. Alberto Morillas is attached too and I wonder if two perfumers with a "fresher" resumé weren't brought in to help the original Quorum's co-creator, Mateu, on the project. Aqua Quorum opens with an absolute blast of dihydromyrcenol. You know, that metallic combination of grapefruit and lavender that's in Drakkar Noir, Cool Water, Green Irish Tweed, and every laundry product or dish detergent ever made? It lets up after 20 seconds or so and gets into a nice freesia accord. Imagine a flower that smells like almond or ripe fruit and that's freesia. Oakmoss is there giving a starkness to the lavender and leather, like an eau version of a late 80's fougère. The leather isn't that dusty old study leather of its predecessor, just a faint hint of a shoe leather or an old wallet. Think Ferragamo pour Homme's leather. The freshness is the main attraction, but there's more backbone than you'd think. There are two notes in Aqua Quorum that I feel are missing from the pyramid. One is mint, which I think fuels some of the Cool Water comparisons and the other is pine, which makes it feel more related to the original Quorum. There's a salty sea accord swimming around in there too, but I'll chalk that up to the "amber". At any rate, most will probably find this perfume generic or a sign of the early 90's that's nice enough but not anything to write home about. But to the right people, just like that little hangout that isn't there anymore or the friends we have fond memories of but lost touch with, it's something to be cherished.

Aqua Quorum is a fresh/fruity fougere that manages to be fun, youthful, outdoorsy, laid back, and energetic. It's a familiar aroma, and upon smelling it you realize that this is essentially what every designer has been trying to do for the last 30 years. Puig's rendition is perhaps one of the best, up there easily with Cool Water. However, whereas Cool Water smells like itself because it is so ubiquitous, Aqua Quorum takes on a kaleidoscopic element, making you think of a huge array of "blue" aquatics all at once. This is perhaps it's only flaw. The grapefruit and lavender gleam and sparkle out of the atomizer in an over the top fashion, however it doesn't come across as dihydromyrcenolic to my nose, although there is no doubt this compound is present in the formula in atleast some amount. Maybe it's actually in a higher concentration than Cool Water's (20%) amount, I'd have no idea because it's so well blended. I get a bit of calone, as well as a crushed green pine accord which has quickly become one of my favorite scents. Eventually, a huge slug of ambroxan comes out, proof that the likes of D*** S****** or Bleu de Chanel didn't pioneer an overdose of this stuff. Puig's offering, just like Vapor Trail says, doesn't smell dated at all. It smells like it could've been released a few months ago by Versace. Here's the difference: With Aqua Quorum, you're getting an obscure 90's "proto-aquatic" fresh fougere that has essentially zero marketing, pulled straight out of the era in which this style was originally conceived, for 1/10th the price of it's imitators today, and directly from the manufacturer themselves. You really can't beat that. Amazing juice, highly recommended to anybody who comes across this review. Edit 10/08/19: After wearing this for a few weeks, I can definitely smell the dihydromyrcenol. There's a quite a bit, but at first it's drowned out by the calone which imparts a super fruity, ozonic watermelon-like nuance.

Personally I think anyone who thinks this smells like Cool Water’s ‘ad their brains scrambled. And I ain’t sayin’ that because I hate Cool Water. I love Cool Water, this just don’t smell like it. I DO get the Polo Sport comparisons, but call me a philistine, I like this cheap shit I bought from the weird pharmacy next to the good pharmacy better. I normally don’t get on with freshies. I own ‘em, an’ I wear ‘em, but I’m one of those blokes constantly chompin’ at the bit for it to get colder so I can wear me more dense and interestin’ stuff. This is a freshie that don’t bore me to tears, which straight away gets it ten house points. It opens like an over-chlorinated outdoor swimmin’ pool, which I know don’t sound appealin’ but it evokes properly vivid an’ specific scent memories out of me. Good ones. They make me smile. This thing makes me smile. As it dried down it goes to a weirdly dark place for a warm weather frag because of the oakmoss an’ leather, which gives it a bit more of a hairy-chestedness than a lot of the stuff it’d be shelved next to. I ain’t Basic an’ I don’t need to smell like I’ve wrestled a bear at every moment to feel like a man but the fact that this even looks in that direction sets it apart in its genre. It might not smell like a typical freshie but you pretty much are gettin’ standard freshie performance from it. Five-six hours before it’s a skin scent an’ about ninety minutes hard projection before it starts drawin’ in. On me it stays a skin scent for a good long while though, an’ it’s a nice one. A good “Arms Round Each Other” skin scent if not a cuddle one because leather just don’t lend itself to that, at least not off me. Cost me £11.95. For that price it’s astonishin’, an’ if you’re like me an’ you like the IDEA of smellin’ nice and appropriate when it’s hotter but most of your options make you wanna cry, grab it an’ keep it at arm’s reach.

Just received this from amazon. First impression: I really like this! I didn't have very high expectations, but I can see myself wearing this often. I don't own Cool Water or Polo Sport, so not really sure how this compares. This smells more aquatic than I expected actually, almost like there might be some ambergris or something in here. It does remind me slightly of another fragrance I have (Grassland by Banana Republic) but I like this better. Will update after a full wearing. Update: Decided to test again tonight. Sprayed on my chest and neck this time. It's not as aquatic as it seemed at first. I think the base notes are more noticeable now, even the leather, which is nice. Projection is fairly strong, and I'm getting more typical "blue" fragrance vibes as opposed to light and aquatic. Overall I'm really liking this, it's somewhat generic but with a classic masculine feel. Not too sweet or fruity like many other blue fragrances. Update 2: Wore this to work the past 2 days. I didn't notice the base notes as much, but the performance has been surprisingly good (8+ hours on my skin). It's not as masculine as I initially thought, but it is pleasant. A little floral, a little fruity, maybe just a bit of oakmoss. It's very easy to wear, but not a standout fragrance really. Yet somehow I think it's becoming one of my favorites.

I bought this blind a few years ago and never regretted it! To me it's not an aquatic per se but more a 'fresh aromatic fougere' which can be used all year around actually but does best during warmer summer days as it's very refreshing! It belongs to the same genre as eg. Cool water, Eternity and Polo Sport and it has a little of all these frags combined and costs like 1/3 of the price of the others. It's is compared mainly to Polo Sport, but AQ has no seaweed note. It starts heavy and sharp and a little 'alcoholic' with lavender and flowers surrounded by grapefruit. The base of amber, leather and oakmoss do give a very masculine and spicy edge to this very fresh fragrance like the drydown of Cool Water has as well. This is far better than most aquatics thrown at the market last 15 years, especially looking at the price! It lasts for like 8 hours even and has above average sillage. It's versatile and 100% masculine! The only drawback I can think of is that it's not that original as it seems it has copied and combined some of the best accords of Cool water, Eternity and Polo Sport together to create AQ but I don't care. Note that this frag is nothing similar to it's green brother Quorum! Thumbs way up! Rated: 8/10

This has been likened to Cool Water by some people I have read and I can understand why, but I don't totally agree. Both are fresh fougere fragrances, but there is a difference. Aqua Quorum is better. The difference between Cool Water and Aqua Quorum is most pronounced early on: Cool Water smells much more synthetic, while A Q smells natural and quite clearly fougere-ish. It is much smoother than Coolwater and at least to me more leafy/floral vibe with the added zing of citrus. Coolwater wins out as far as strength and longevity is concerned, but this is not to say A. Q. is wimpy. As both fragrances develop on the skin they become more similar. I think of Aqua Quorum this way... on an olfactory line between Coolwater and Azzaro pour Homme, Aqua Quorum is in the middle. I don't usually give scores, but I would rank Aqua Quorum a 8/10 and Cool Water a 7/10. Oh and I paid half as much for Aqua Quorum as Cool Water. EDIT. Shamu1 on another website, suggested that this smells like Polo Sport. I tried Polo Sport for the first time today and agree very much with his comparison.

A+ safe blind buy ... IF you like fragrances similar to Cool Water or even Aspen with a bit of Eternity floral notes ... then this is for you. It's definitely not unique but it is inexpensive ... actually dirt cheap. It's fresh and invigorating and very office friendly. I especially like the grapefruit in the opening even though it's pretty much gone in 30 minutes or so. It goes on very fresh but not fruity ... just slightly soapy ... yet a hint of both of these qualities are present. It also has a slightly floral scent with noticeable lavender and germanium. Interesting ... this floral aspect is my favorite part that makes it so unique. It's drydown is a nice musky/slightly woody and floral scent that on me lasts 4-5 hours. The best way for me to describe this extremely pleasant fragrance would be ... imagine if Cool Water and Eternity perfumes got together and had a baby ... goes on similar to Cool Water but after dry down it resembles Eternity ... and voila QUORUM AQUA. So ... if you aren't a fan of Cool Water or Eternity then do not buy Quorum Aqua.

★★★★ All I was looking for was an easy to purchase substitute to my beloved Polo Sport (since the current formula lacks the depth of the original and I don't intend browsing ebay for it) Aqua Quorum has a very similar aura that is masculine, sporty and summery while it still manages to smell less synthetic than other offerings of a similar kind. Manly scent with a bright ozonic grapefruit opening slowly turning to a herbal fresh freesia and lavender beauty, making it a great fresh fougère that represents an aquatic idea without being aquatic. The drydown is mossy and ambery and ends everything beautifully. Similar in vein with Guy Laroche's Horizon, but not as bold and definitely more sporty. Longevity is 6-7 with good projection in warmer days. 100% satisfied with the value for money, Aqua Quorum is here to stay! *TIP: Apply the classic EU version of Nivea Cream (blue tin) on your body and layer it with this... Two words - Summer Lush.

I find it coincidental that Harry Fremont worked on both Quorum Aqua and Polo Sport. I also find it interesting that they were both released in 1994. There are too many coincidences going on here, but I digress. Quorum Aqua is a call to the 90s; the fragrance has a very refreshing scent profile. The opening is a 100% synthetic men's shower gel (Hydro Fresh), which is probably the first fragrance to contain an opening of this kind, as the fragrance mellows, citrus, and lavender are the dominant notes. The fragrance levels off evenly and leaves you with a youthful and sporty scent profile (pun intended). Performance is solid for approximately 6 1/2 hours but might last longer depending on your activity level (during the day). Rosendo Mateu and Alberto Morilla are also listed as collaborators for this fragrance, which should be all you need to know regarding it being "good."

Powerful and beautiful range of perfume! Unique character, but not old-fashioned! Aquas nature allows any age ..... I must say that the head of the ticket and up to match the Polo Sport fragrance of 1-2 hours !!! And I am very glad of this, because I can not be another fragrance that resembles the Polo Sport on l !!!! The funds are a little different, but when you look at the ingredients shows that the PS woody base, while Aqua Quorum skin stem - based musky me! Both are fresh, sporty fragrance is really blue atmosphere unique and recognizable .. Both fragrances market in 1994, in addition to the blue bottle is really the same !! But the Aqua Quorum is much cheaper but high-quality !!! It may be synthetic, you might not America ... so what? Antonio Puig has been plenty of evidence of the perfume industry and not at all "small name" in the market! A great deal !!!

As others have alluded to, this is a very safe fragrance that has nothing to do with the original Quorum (to me, that's a good thing). Lavender is the main note here, and it's a relaxing one that plays nicely with the citrus to give you a fresh, out-of-the-shower vibe. Not much about Aqua Quorum is surprising. It's linear, soapy, and not totally unique. What sets it apart from the '90s proto-aquatics to me is how gracefully it's aged: reformulations haven't turned it screechy or synthetic, and it doesn't smell dated whatsoever. You can go heavy on this and it'll still smell pretty good. Cool Water, Eternity, and Polo Sport have all been mentioned in this reviews section, but I would take this fragrance over any of those. A masculine, calming freshness.

I sprayed this one on a sunny morning while driving to work. Inside a closed car, you turn your head from side to side and catch whiffs of your perfume, without the wind distorting the scent. This is a real good one! Fresh and fruity. Nearly nothing in common with the OG or Silver. Within the first hour at work I already received a compliment from my colleagues. Maybe that's because they already know that I wear someting else every day, but if I stank, they would tell me that too...

I just got this and it's already my favorite! My collection isn't huge, sure, but this smells amazing. You have to be a very specific kind of person to really love it and appreciate it. It just feels nostalgic, graceful, fresh - the lavender/grapefruit shines through wonderfully, great for the summer and spring. A genuine underdog in the Voyage vs Cool Water debate, a secret third option. Also, this was a blind buy! I never smelled it before or seen it in a store. Worth every penny.

This is currently my favorite fresh scent. It is very soapy and refreshing. It has a classic vibe and no sweetness at all. What I get the most is the lavender (which I love) with a bit of geranium and moss. It is pretty linear but I don't mind. It's extremely clean and pretty easy to wear with a causal outfit. I think the best time for it would be spring and summer. Longevity is pretty good for me, around 7-8 hours with a good projection in the first 2 hours.

So...I read most of the comments and it's VERY STRANGE but why doesn't anyone say that the great Alberto Morillas actually made Dylan Blue N2!!! This is 90% Dylan Blue and 10% OG and I'm the happiest person on earth because for years I've been looking for a fragrance that is not 1/1 with Dylan Blue (which is my signature) but 90%. If you like Dylan Blue, you don't need to look any further...for less than 20 euros you get it.

There is nothing quite like this. I have searched around to find anything that could replace this but could not. You could claim this to belong to the same family as RL Polo sport but it is very different. It has a solid performance and leaves a lingering trail behid for people wondering of what this beautiful smell is. It is definitely strong and great value. Better than many high priced big brand blue fragrances.

Proto-aquatics huh. Really not sure who made this scent but he deserves a pioneer badge of sorts. Similiar to Cool Water in a way but with none of that ambery sweet hijinks, further enhancing the feeling of freshness. The lavender here has a liquoricy bent and it adds to the composition. Great Quorum for beginners and an absolute steal when it comes to the price. Can't go wrong with this line.

A really beautiful composition: smiling, elegant, botanical, sensual--a lot of interesting facets. Grapefruit, Freesia; Lavender, Amber, Orange, Geranium; Soil, Leather, Oakmoss, Lily. This has the cheerfulness I associate with Harry Fremont, unlike Polo Sport. For me, this is a predecessor of Terre d'Hermes as much as a descendent of Cool Water.

On me Aqua Quorum is clean, fresh and crisp. It does have similarities to Polo Sport, but to me Aqua Quorum is more mature and masculine than PS. I usually do 3-4 sprays and I get great longevity. Also the sprayer on this is excellent! For the price, quality and performance it is well worth it to have a bottle in your collection and rotation.

There's something nostalgic about this that I just love. Yes, I get the Polo Sport comparisons, but AQ has a vibe of its own. I never wore it in the nineties, but it reminds me of the summer of '92. Sunshine, waterslides, Ray-Bans, and girls. Seriously so good. This is the dumbest review I've ever written.

I used to have a bottle of Aqua Quorum a few years ago, but I gave it away. I quickly regretted that decision, especially when the price of the fragrance went up. I didn't repurchase it then. However, now that the price is back down to under $20, I'm thrilled to have it back in my collection.

Thank God this underrated bargain fragrance has finally made an overdue and welcome appearance on this site. In my opinion, AQ can do pretty much anything that Cool Water or Aqua Di Gio can do, yet is nowhere near as well known as either. In other words: it's near on perfect :))

@Zenith: Gotta disagree with you there. The deep blue bottle and sunshine yellow top are fresh, cool & sporty. Love 'em! @Murysusanto: New bottles of AQ are still widely available (in the UK at least) at bargain basement prices and smell just as good as ever!

This is a super cheap, safe freshly for spring and summer. It will offend precisely nobody. If you like Versace Pour Homme you will love this. For 10 quid for 100ml this is a steal. Made by master perfumer Alberto Morillas too.

10 quid (or pounds sterling) is not the same as 10 USdollars. This smells great and is dirt cheap. Great for a dumb reach freshie to go to the gym with or for warmer weather.

Super close to polo sport and I have still have an old bottle of that almost empty. It's like a very fresh smelling masculine crisp sporty soap I love it 8.5 out of 10.

Overall I get a bracing salty-metallic freshness that, on me, persists a good while and doesn't smell like a generic aquatic bodywash. Nicely done. Recommended.

Best 15 bucks I’ve ever spent. No, seriously.

At the start of this summer I was looking for an affordable freshy, Aqua Quorum took my interest. For only 20 eu a bottle, I decided to give it a try. Before buying the fragrance I was already aware that the performance of Aqua Quorum wasn't the best. As a matter of fact, on my skin it lasts about three hours after which it becomes a skin scent. The sillage is great for about half an hour. Is this a problem? Well, not really. This makes the scent great for situations when you want your scent to be subtle, like at the office, when meeting up at a friends place, or at the beach! And if you fancy smelling more of it, just reapply (it is only 20 eu anyway). I must mention that the scent lasts longer on clothing. At times I can still smell the fragrance on my shirt after a night of clubbing, but this is again subtle. The sprayer is excellent. Now the scent profile. The opening is very citrusy, combined with lavender. Although many freshies have a similar scent profile, Aqua Quorum offers something unique: it presents this profile in a very smooth, almost creamy, way. I don't think the scent profile changes much after the opening. The citrusy notes are less prominent, lavender and a bit of amber are taking over. It somehow smells, just a tiny bit, sweet (like a fresh lemonade). If you want to stand out, then Aqua Quorum is not for you. But it smells very good: fresh, sexy and masculine. I must admit that you do smell a bit of the alcohol when you overspray this fragrance. Many say Aqua Quorum is similar to Davidoff Cool Water or Giorgio Armani AdG, I don't see this resemblance at all. It does remind me somewhat of Calvin Klein Eternity. I've never smelled the original Quorum, but I've heard Aqua Quorum doesn't resemble it much. Aqua Quorum by Antonio Puig was one of the first freshies out there. The box and bottle design remain old school, like the original Quorum. Yet, it doesn't smell outdated at all. Maybe a more classic leaning freshy is what we need nowadays (because most people now wear over the top sweet stuff). You can't go wrong with Aqua Quorum! All in all, a great old school and masculine freshy for summer! Especially during the hotter days! Worth checking it out.

Prepare to be whelmed. Not overwhelmed, not underwhelmed, just whelmed. What can I say about Aqua Quorum? It's fresh, has solid projection and longevity - especially on clothes - it's neither gonna impress or offend anyone and it's cheap as fuck. This is probably mostly a fragrance for people who aren't big fans of fresh scents, and just need something to get them through the summer. Especially those who aren't big fans of citrus scents (the grapefruit is noticeable, but it isn't sour and the juice doesn't give a very citrusy impression), and for people who don't like the melon notes that infest a lot of aquatics out there. I'm a big fan of original Quorum, and I can tell you: If you're considering buying this, because you think it's going to be a summer version of that, don't. It is most definitely not. Or do, it costs next to nothing, and you are probably not going to hate it. The only interesting thing I cna say about Aqua Quorúm is, that the leather can be brought out if you wear it in conjunction with a leather based deodorant - like Ferrari Uomo for example. Then it suddenly becomes a fresh scent with a noticeable leather accord - and a quite nice one at that - which is quite interesting. If that sounds like something you might enjoy, go for it. If you wan't a blind reach for the summer, go for it. If you wan't something that doesn't change one iota during the day, go for it. If you wan't a complex aquatic that's going to turn heads, give it a pass. And if you want something that's going to look pretty in your collection, give it a pass as well - that lid is even more hideous in real life than it looks in the pictures.

I have been revisiting some of my favorites from the 90s. This was one of them. Still very good. I agree with many prior reviews. Longevity is moderate plus. This is one of those EDT's where sillage is not powerhouse, but more powerful than you realize ... easy does it on the sprayer. I am not 100% certain but this may possibly have been reformulated. It could just be the passing of years, but my nose remembers more "aquatic accord" than the batch I recently bought - yet even back when it was introduced, I never would have said it was similar to Cool Water. Now: what I get on my skin is a predominantly vanilla/minty essence with an undercurrent of aquatic citrus. And that is perfectly fine too. It is still uniquely what I remember Aqua Quorum being. It is just that the equalizer seems to have some different settings. AQ is nicely blended; never overpowering (unless you get carried away with applying it); and versatile without being boring. Worth a try, especially for the price. Long live the house of Puig.

I actually had meant to buy Quorum Silver, which I may still try to get my hands on, but this stuff is at least serviceable. It smells cheap but not bad. It's an OK sweet aquatic, sort of reminding me of Polo Blue but with more sweet, floral top notes rather than the dry cucumber. It has a moderate amount of the fruity (apple?) component of Eternity or the old Nautica Competition, and initially this gets more intense as it progresses. The fruitiness almost reminds me of the shampoo-like components of Grabazzi or Horizon, which is a minor annoyance, but I don't find it to stick out as obtrusively as in those two. It's a bit metallic, but not as much as a lot of sweet aquatics or herbals/aromatics on the men's market. It ends up quite a bit soapier at the end, which I'm OK with, and keeps up its strength pretty well.

Got this and I'm fairly satisfied with my purchase considering how cheap this is. This just smells like summer, youthful, boyish, and nostalgic - it opens with a very synthetic lavender bomb (almost axe deodorant-like) and that's really the main note, but I also get a very distinct note that's similar to sunscreen as well, it's very pleasant, it's somewhat salty also which adds to the 'scent of summer' feeling. I don't use this much except in the high-heat of summer, but it's very nice. It does sit very synthetic for a while, but the dry-down loses that and it's a very pleasant amber-lavender scent. While it's a bit more expensive, I'd probably suggest Eau de Lacoste White over this for a relatively cheap summer clean and subtle dumb-reach sort of fragrance, but this has better performance. 6.8/10

For fans of Ralph Lauren Polo Sport, I wanted to compare this since they were aquatic sporty frags both released in 1994 and are viewed as contemporary scent competitors. They're similar in concept, but there's definitely some differences. Aqua Quorum starts with a more floral, aromatic citrus from the lavender and freesia where Polo Sport is more of an aldehydic pop of mint, citrus. Aqua Quorum is more grapefruit and lavender in the heart, leather in the base. Polo Sport is more ginger heart and rosewood base. Later in the dry down I find Aqua Quorum is masculine, mossy, leathery. Polo Sport is woodier, muskier, and a touch cleaner. Overall I think the Puig leans more soapy and the RL leans more fresh. I definitely like both and since they're dirt cheap, easy to have in a gym rotation.

This is a sport fragrance, and though I normally can't stand sport fragrances, this is a good one. It smells almost identical to Polo Sport, only without the pineapple. Admittedly, it smells pretty generic (i.e., "fresh"), but the zing of the lavender and citrus is hard to resist. It has a good drydown, which is aromatic and spicy, and manages to maintain the freshness you get in the beginning. Aqua Quorum gets its freshness from the lavender, geranium and herbal notes, not from chemicals, and I like that. It also projects well and lasts a long time, always a plus. Aqua Quorum isn't a great scent, because it smells so much like other sport fragrances, but it's done well and smells good. The price can't be beat either. MY RATING: 7/10

Initial impressions; For anyone who knows Polo Sport this will smell familiar, perhaps it's not identical but it's close. For those who don't know PS it's a nice uplifting aromatic 'blue' scent from before blue scents were really a thing. I'm surprised mint isn't listed as a note but something minty is surely in the mix, I definitely detect no leather though! You can't go wrong for the low price this sell for, as long as you don't mind an incredibly 80s style bottle and cap which could be seen as retro cool I guess. The scent isn't dated though and is really pleasant! Heads up: also extremely similar to another 'cheapie' Jeanne Arthes: JS Magnetic Power Navy Blue.

Aqua Quorum is a fresh safe scent and that is one of its strengths in my humble opinion. Begins with a citrus and Lavender blast (as chopshop states, the sprayer is fantastic) and helps keep the wearer cool throughout the day. Gets compared to Cool Water and Eternity a lot, I can say from someone who uses Cool Water quite often that it is quite different to those fragrances, it feels more like a sporty fragrance. Is it classy? No, it's for a guy looking to blend in, go about his business while smelling Clean. Great summer scent, because of the Lavender it can be refreshing to wear at night too. As with all Puig products very reasonably priced and good value.

I have just purchased this as a blind buy/substitute to save some of my more expensive summer fragrances. Consequently, I wasnt overly concerned about how it smelt or longevity. So my initial thoughts are it does open with another almost eye watering citrus burst that only lasts a couple of minutes before settling down into a pleasant grapefruit/lavender scent. I thought if this was going to be its profile then I would be happy. However, within an hour or so it was beginning to fade. And now, three hours after my initial sprays I can just about smell it if I hold my skin right up to my nose. So it will be used as an out of the shower scent, but nothing more.

I own an old bottle of Aqua Quorum and in my opinion if you smell something synthetic . It is not like Cool Water , but if Polo Sport. It reminds me also Bvlgari Aqua but less fine and subtle . It has a slightly salty and floral scent. It is a suitable scent for sports , beach or a day at the pool. The length in my is long ( very long on clothing ) and potent enough to be an " aquatic " perfume sillage . Nothing fancy or thin in this scent , slightly synthetic but very good for its price (beware sprays , an excess can become overwhelming and even offensive ) My overall rating is 7/10 .

Aqua Quorum is a simple and generic 90s style sport fragrance, but it's actually quite good. Starts off with a fresh blast of lavender, grapefruit and a sort of metallic note, which is uplifting and refreshing and lasts about a half hour. The drydown is even better - oakmoss rounded off with amber, and it lasts a good 5 or 6 hours. It's not a strong or unique fragrance, but its longevity is good and it has a scent most people will like. It's only cheap in its price, not in its quality.

For me, this fragrance is pretty decent. I have never smelled polo sport but own both wings and cool water and I see the comparisons with both. AQ is nothing special or original, but for the price is a solid cologne. It starts off very synthetic and strong but after about 5-10 minutes smooths out and smells fresh and quite lovely. On me, it doesnt last very long (about 3-4 hours) but again, for the price, it's not a big deal. scent: 8/10 sillage: 7/10 longevity: 6.5/10
