Estivalia

This fragrance was given to me by my godfather in Panama back in the mid 90's, and i distinctly remember it being one of the first perfumes i was ever given. Considering that Panama is quite humid, this was the type of perfume that held up in the heat. I still have a full 1997 bottle and it still smells as i remember it. It's a very fresh and citrusy scent with a hint of cool floral, definitely more on the green side. Upon initial application (mine has a stopper top) the top notes of bergamot and lemon hit you instantly, and as it dries down, the jasmin, carnation, clary sage and lemongrass become detectable. Therefore, i would describe it as a predominantly clean, but subtly floral fragrance. This does not contain the more obviously sweet types of florals. It doesn't last incredibly long and becomes drastically weaker within the first hour, but i wouldn't expect it to last all that long with a fragrance like this one. I don't think i ever see myself purchasing this for myself at any point again, as my adult tastes definitely don't cater to fragrances like this anymore, but i'll keep this around for sentimental value.

This is the first real perfume I ever used, it takes me to memory lane, was a present from my mom when I was 15 years old and she told me that she wore it as well when younger. I see now is sadly discontinued and the vintage bottles for sale are insanely priced, anyways the fume itself is super green and aromatic, a tad spicy and mossy at bottom and shrill lemony at top, calm non-offensive totally Unisex. It smells clean and put together, works marvelously with all kind of weathers and when you want to feel that out of the shower whim. To me is like being walking barefoot on a dewy and green fern forest.
