Absolute noir in a bottle. Three perfumers, legendary in their internal influence, joined forces in their own Quorum to create something meant to last for decades. I wasn’t there to witness it, but I can almost feel it: the spark and the madness of Mateu forming the core of the fragrance, gradually shaped like a raw stone by the flawless craftsmanship of the jeweler Benaïm, and finally set into the dark, guilloché, blackened ring crafted by Gavarry — destined for success. And yet, to me, the most important thing about this fragrance is that, despite its grotesque and phantasmagorical nature, it is not about perfection. The minds behind it were not trying to tell another tale of heroes and villains, of good triumphing over evil. Here, it’s hard to tell one from the other — and there is neither a bright ending nor a dark one. There is no ending at all. “Life isn’t black and white. There are a million shades of gray.” — a quote often attributed to Ridley Scott, though the idea itself is far from new. And that’s what makes it interesting. Blade Runner — the adaptation of Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, released the same year as the fragrance: 1981. A failure at launch, a legend today — often regarded as one of the greatest science fiction films of all time. The parallels are endless, but the key message is this: to question our perception of ourselves, of humanity, and of our place in the world. Blind belief is foolish. Wearing this fragrance, you can almost feel yourself inside that reality. The opening is striking: a clear cumin note with a somewhat wild, almost chlorinated nuance masquerading as citrus. No, this is not a flaw, nor the result of ruthless reformulations — this was the author’s intent, carried through decades. In contrast, the heart is relatively fresh and red-floral, yet surprisingly, it doesn’t break the composition. The base and the trail are astonishing — perhaps one of the best examples of blending absolute synthetics with natural materials: leather, oakmoss, and labdanum. But I deliberately saved the most important twist: throughout the entire composition runs a distinct, unmistakable cigarette smoke accord. And it is simply brilliant. For some, this will be too much — and that’s fair. But it’s worth asking: isn’t it self-deception when, living in this gray, contradictory world full of distrust and disillusionment, we present ourselves — first and foremost to ourselves — as flawless, harmless, almost naïve Eloi? This fragrance transcends time. Its longevity deserves a separate review. The vintage is more animalic, but the modern version is surprisingly faithful and absolutely worth attention. A must-have for anyone seriously interested in perfumery.

The Masterpiece powerhouse of the 80s My Story: Back in the 80s while everyone has only maybe 2 perfumes and you can recognised that person a 1 Km away from his sillage, Quorum represented the bold, mature, self confident the boss of the bosses back in the 80s. Is very agressive openning, just 2 sprays and your whole room while smell for hours. Quorum is far from the man wildness that Drakkar represent o la elegancia de Azzaro pour homme, is a complex distintic alpha male boss that loudly say "I am here, follow my orders". Is a real man in a though world. Honestly, I smelled back after many years, it was a classic tester in all the department stores in Spain at that time, I keep grabbed that scent and I wanted to have my flashback of my early days. I bought with confidence but same as Drakkar Noir, the first time was like "meeehhh, wrong move". Is extremely strong, is like if you enter in a smoking room, is quite shocking but after the drydown is when you feel the power of this amazing parfume. Is remind me so bad to Loewe Esencia, One Show Man and Massimo Dutti edt(discontinued).Is dark, perfect for a Winter season when really shines in day and night time specially in raining days is perfectly match, will blow up your brain, but CAREFUL please, is not for everyone, if you have confidence avoiding influencers telling what to wear, man this is for you, a relic from the past must to be in your wardrove. Quorum is the perfect definition of powerhouse in the 80s. *To Millennials and Z generations: Hmm, how to begin? It's a perfume with a lot of personality, very strong, and the complete opposite of the commercial garbage that's come from the desert and has unfortunately become so fashionable lately. It's a perfume that smells like a serious, distinctive man, one who wants to project his authority and isn't intimidated by new trends. It's classic, timeless, quite aggressive and bold, preferably for people who don't grovel before fads or pretend to be gangsters. If you're a fan of Lattafa, Armaf, and similar trash, you'd better leave. Your opinion doesn't count and isn't taken seriously. Stay in your Disney world, smelling like vanilla all day, and leave Quorum alone. Quorum is actually a very good scent, considering it;s price point. for me it makes me think of leather arm chairs, fireplace, a bar in the house, and an old fashioned gruff and somewhat serious masculine fragrance, but then at the same time the fragrance has a contradiction, and provokes the image of the old man's son who rather than wearing the tucked in shirt slacks and tie from his management job, wears jeans and a leather jacket and has a motocycle, and is going out. maybe it is the fougere aspect and the citrus in this chypre fragrance which does that trick. It's both old fashioned and new age at the same time. When I first got this scent, in the first times of wearing it, it actually made me almost physically sick. which is strange, but true. The reason being such a strong tobacco scent in the first parts of the fragrance, its like a chewing tobacco or similar. But then after using it more, I discovered its wonderful cedar wood notes and it's other facets. One time I went to the grocery store after spraying just a squirt of this on. I am sure I heard the checkout old lady remark to the customer behind me when I was leaving, that she did not like whatever scent I had, but the beautiful young woman she mentioned that to said she kinda liked it. So preferences depend on who is doing the preferring. This is a mature smelling scent, but at the same time it is a bracing fougere style in there just a touch giving a youthful energy. Coming from 1981 it;s interesting, being sort of the era between the 70's musky eathy scents and the fougere's of the 80's. This one is right in between them both. The bottle is cool, it reminds me of the style of the atari video console or an ET spaceship or something. There is something very early 80's even about the bottle. its pretty good scent if you like the style - tobacco chypre, caraway and citrus fougere - both earthy and bitter, leathery, and also citrusy, enticing, with just a touch or bracing freshness. It may not be a fragrance that impresses most, because of it's Charles Bronson type of masculinity, but if it;s a style that one appreciates, or can handle, it's pretty good.

I imagine Luca Turin (God love him) referred to something like Quorum when he ruthlessly lambasted Les Abstraits Des Cendres on his Substack: "a woody fougère like a foghorn, brutally chemical, like a bad masculine from the late 1970s in the elevator on a Saturday night, left behind by some delusionally eager guy." Yet, I have a penchant for the masculine foghorns from the late 70s through 80s, they may feel brutal to certain noses, but to smell "chemical" as we know is a matter of perception, especially in this age of rampant and paranoid chemophobia. And maybe, just maybe, I want to cosplay that delusionally eager guy of that time period, or maybe I am just a delusionally eager guy of this time period, leaving my trail like the spoor of a randy buck. I actually do find Des Cendres to be anything but crude, but I do think that Quorum is titillatingly crude by design, particularly in its older forms, sort of an original Polo that went rogue and decided to take on billiards in smoky bars, heaving with ashy pine smatter and punchy mugwort, as green as the logo on a pack of Kool cigs. I will never say no to a supersize slug of moss and quinolines, and Quorum is filthy with it all, a swarthy lunch pail who may seem at first ham-fisted but is actually warm and cuddly, with a heart of gold. I must reiterate, though, that this only pertains to older formulations; newer ones, while half-way okay, are attenuated and fall short of satisfaction for me. Yeah, it’s a little harsh for some modern noses, and yeah it’s super green and earthy, but it’s not really playing it safe and that makes fragrances stand out. I can see how it might be a little challenging at first. This review is from a 1993 vintage sample splash bottle. I liked it, but I wouldn’t buy a full bottle, I just want it in my scent library as a piece of history. UPDATE: a little over a month later, and I’m really liking the scent profile. I’ll probably buy a full bottle (albiet it will be reformulated), crossing my fingers but it’s not a huge gamble. UPDATE: Bought the new formulation and I freaking LOVE it. I recently smelled a few modern men’s fragrances, most with sweet hints of vanilla, sugar, blah blah blah. The colors of the bottle and cap (dark green and dark brown) are perfectly suited to the scent. I love the complete lack of sweetness here. This scent is so beautifully masculine. I get the green notes, the pine, the leather, and the tobacco. I don’t mind smelling like someone’s uncle in the 80’s. It’s not one to wear if you want to get a young lady’s attention. It works in a club (assuming you time travel to the 80’s). It’s one to wear if you are working. Maybe outdoors. Quorum changes here and there. It comes across soapy and green one minute, and dirty and woody the next. It’s so worth the price even if blind buying. Wear it with confidence. Wear it because you like it. You will stand out in the crowd as a man who is comfortable in his own skin. Not a party bro looking for compliments.

I LOVE Silver Quorum, but it needs a lot of sprays to be truly "present". I bought this on the strength of that. So when this arrived (£11 for 100ml delivered), I sprayed it everywhere. Neck, wrists, (man)tits, (man)shirt. DO NOT DO THIS! You will burn your throat/nose. My tongue felt like I'd been licking batteries. Less is more. Remarkable scent. I love it. I understand why people relate it to 80s scents, but it has weathered sooo much better than them. As such, it transcends its time. It is very unique - it doesn't sit at all well in the "reminds me of" world. It really does not smell like Polo - this is unique, but Polo was a whorish baby daddy fathering a hundred bastards on the estate. This is a puritanical, demanding monk by comparison. His dick is alert, but squires no offspring. Think Hugh de Payns: ascetic, but masculine AF. Nothing has followed it. It is sorta green - but not like Azzaro PH (which I respect, but don't like). It's sorta kinda soapy (kinda) but not at all like Paco Rabanne (which I respect, but don't like). It's warm (maybe the tobacco) in a way that "green scents" aren't. It has leather, but absolutely nothing like TF Ombré Leather or AdP Leather - it's so much more gentle and amenable. It has pine, but not at all like Pino Silvestre - think more "resin" or sap, or wood workshop. There's a... Warm sweetness(?) underneath. Look - for the price, buy some. But do not overspray. Tread lightly...

For me this is the Holly Grail of scents. Its so old it new! As a 15 year old kid I saved up for this and bought in Boots, the woman was like wtf how can you afford at that time £39? With due dillagence I got it home opened it carefull wore it and at school the Biology teacher liked it so much that she decided to sit next to me to do a disection of a mouse and paired everyone but I was wpaired with her. Later after washing the fomaldhyde off and carrying the little refillable one that came free I spreayed the EDT and went in the lunch our , snuk in thepub for pint of XXXX and they had bar ladies and she said whats that scent. I told her and she said its lovely. She siad your not old enough but because you smell nice I will give you XXXX and what what drink would you like. Later I went to the now defunct Ratners and wow the your girl on the YTS scheme who had more front then Southend pier said you smell gorgeous. She sliped me a telephone number no mobiles in them days and a romance was born. I got the refillable bottle and 30 years later I still have some left. I purchased the recent formulation and it is isnt the same, it has the same DNA of the orignal but toned down. It just is a masterpeace. It is the 80's, Lamborghinis, Testerossa, Ford XR3i, computer controled Hi-Fi no Wi-Fi, a time where there were not passwords and big brother was watching you.

Quorum Is absolutely gorgeous! It opens up green and soapy but also very sophisticated and classy, I found from the aftershave that this old school barbershop frag was one of the more wearable and sexy of the bunch. I love the bottle however the cap is very strange, but iconic and it does slide into place! What I pick up from the opening is the bitter grapefruit and artemisia, the Pine also smacks me in the face and it's not harsh it's just the right amount. All the notes in the mid blend beautifully, the rich sandalwood, bright carnation and floral light jasmine! The base is the sexy part... Dark Oakmoss, gorgeous tobacco, strong leather and warm amber. Quorum Is just stunning, similar to the rest but sexier and will work great dressed up in smart clothes. Scent 9/10 Price 10/10 I will update about longevity from two sprays on my hand When the fragrance eventually dries down it is still very present and turns into a light grassy pine soapy fragrance, a little bit like OMS but lighter. I got easily 7 hours of solid longevity and I'm going into the 9th hour and it's still there as a skin scent I love Quorum! What a beautiful fragrance which is cheap as chips too! I really want to get Aqua Quorum!!! 😏💙💛

I have half of a 50ml bottle left that was made in 2010. Strong initial blast of citrus, pine, spice and greens. The opening lasts quite a while, but as it starts to dry, the wood and leather really come through. It has an earthy, grimy feel that still remains fresh and a little soapy .This is manly man level, and It also lasts all day. I absolutely love Quorum, and wear it a lot in the fall. Seeing as my last bottle was getting low, I found the 100ml bottle online for under $12. No brainer, I ordered 2 bottles. Big sigh... I don't think I have run into noticing new formulations vs old prior to this. But the new one is not as good. The opening is the same, but as it dries down, there is hardly any leather at all. It's literally like the 'diet' version of the original. if I had never smelled the original, I would still like the modern, but it would be sort of forgettable as it just doesn't last that long. I have taken to spraying one spray on my chest under my shirt of the older version, then add about 5 sprays of the new one on top. This gets me a little closer to more leather in the dry down, and lasts a little longer. But when my older bottle is gone, that's it.

These accords come to my mind in this order: aromatic, soapy, green, resinous, woody, leather, dirty musk (just a slight amount animalic). This is a classic barbershop fragrance for men but with a dark twist. It is reminiscent of other classic oakmossy fragrances of decades past including Paco Rabanne Pour Homme and Drakkar Noir. It also hints at a Polo green in the dry down; the mid for Quorum reminds me of Polo green's open. But don't get me wrong, Quorum is not a clone of any of those fragrances, nore would it be redundant if you owned all 4. Longevity is a decent 6-7 hours on my skin, and the projection is good, but not too loud. Although I would wear this in all seasons, it is a befitting scent for fall and winter. I know this fragrance has a reputation of smelling of a more mature demographic, but if you are a seasoned fragrance connoisseur, you would enjoy this at any age really. But certainly far from your contemporary sweet freshies of today. Personally I was overjoyed when I discovered this fragrance and the bonus is the incredibly low-cost of 15-20 bucks. Not a safe blind buy, unless you have an acquired taste for fragrances in this category.

Revision 2025. 2025 review: My original review of this fragrance was obviously biased by a bad batch. And I am convinced that is the origin of several bad reviews of Quorum in here. This perfume does smell very nice and masculine, it really smells very much like Oscar de La Renta Pour Lui in the opening. Does not smell dated or like and old man’s fragrance. Again, watch out for damaged batches that smell’s off putting, because this does smell very agreeable. Recommended. 2023 review: Quorum is a fragrance that’s got an annoying smell that you get from the first spray. It really smell like an old man. I looked it up, “old people smell” is actually called “nonenal”, it is described as “ musty, grassy, or greasy scent that is reminiscent of aged beer or buckwheat”. This is what Quorum smells like. Yes it’s green, yes it’s woody, yes it’s really aromatic, but in between it’s got that annoying smell, that I think is the leather. It s rough and gag inducing... doesn’t go away. With a different or more delicate leather, this would have been an incredible fragrance.

This is not the same Quorum that once spread terror together with Jacomo de Jacomo. The parameters, durability and projection are weaker today, some notes are lost somewhere... but it is still strong enough to scare young hearts. 😉 I have always loved it, Quorum, Jacomo de Jacomo, Aramis, Agua Brava, Halston and other strong impressions, such as Fahrenheit (which was a different scent but also a game changer)... all this was with us on a daily basis. Our entire unit loaded with leather, tobacco... and sweet gasoline. 😁 I understand that for many young people today Quorum may remind you of the smell of a grandpa, an old man... but that's not necessarily the case and it's not always the case. I know that the young boys in my unit still like it... apparently these are fragrances for people who play with death, for those who love adrenaline. My wife still has a soft spot for this scent. I love it and Quorum will stay with me until I die. This is a very cheap bottle, everyone can check it all out.

I love these old tobacco-y, Christmas tree chypres. And yes, I do think of Quorum as a chypre as it resembles many others in this genre. It walks the line between outdoorsy woodsman and sophisticated gentleman. Quorum smells like an entire evergreen tree: the cool, camphorous (almost toothpasty) needles, the wood, the cones, the resinous sap...it's all there. Supporting all this, is a peppery patchouli, a comforting, forest floor oakmoss, piquant spice and a dry herbal tobacco. Leather is there too, but not the powdery, black car-seat leather of Ombre Leather. It's more like the rough, brown leather of a braided belt or a smoked up leather jacket. Despite such heavy dark notes, it's quite clean (soapy even). My only complaint would be that the current formulation is relatively short-lived. I've found that spraying heavily on clothes makes up for the lack of performance.

Early-mid 1990s bottle. It has lost some top so it is deep, rich, and smoky with just a hint of animal stink. When sampled next to the my much more recent Quorum tester, they're almost two different fragrances. In terms of Reminds Me Of... OLD: much closer to Krizia Uomo or Bogart Signature than it is to Polo green (my bottle, anyway), with a nod in the direction of Antaeus. NEW: bright, sharp, soapy, much like Paco Rabanne except a bit "darker." The old is also lasting a lot longer on me than the new. If it was ever loud, it isn't now, yet it's still profound. It doesn't shout. It's the olfactory equivalent to Michael Corleone when he accepted his role as head of the family...softly spoken, calm, but quite confident and self-assured with an air of menace. The newer Quorum is more brash and flashy, like Sonny. It's not bad, but it's not the same.

Just received this a few days ago. All I can say is WOW! This is amazing. Obviously an old school masculine scent, but in the best way possible. I probably won't wear this in public (it doesn't really fit my vibe/personality) but I'll definitely wear it at home. Something about it is so comforting to me. This makes me curious about the vintage version, but I like this so much I probably won't bother trying to find a vintage one. My only complaint so far is the sprayer is terrible (very wide, fine mist). Update: Have worn this around the house a couple times. I have noticed the tobacco note in this can become bothersome after the first couple hours. It kinda overpowers the other notes, and reminds me of cigarette ashes. Other than that it's an awesome fragrance. Now I just spray less when I wear this one, so it's not as strong.

Epic Journey Into the Bottled Yonder, 015 ------------------------------------------------------- Purchased May 2017 Puig's Quorum was given to me as a clone on maybe my birthday in 2005. Definitely left an impression on me, something in 2017 made me remember this one so I grabbed it and never let it go. I adore Quorum, it's been a companion something of a guardian angel type of relationship. It's comforting and strong, brutal to pretty much everybody. An extra earthy version of Ralph Lauren Polo. Thick and moist green, basically what the earth smells like - the parts we don't get to smell, 1 foot deep in the soil while putting your nose down there. That sort of vibe going on, I'm quite sure I'm accurate on that one. But being a bottled scent it's obviously better than actual soil. The inner sanctum of a King's domain.

I just received Quorum, and I had very, very high expectations from it. I am NOT disappointed. I was afraid that it would smell too "old" and 50+ like, but my worries vanished as soon as I sprayed it on my wrist. It smells so... organic and warm and masculine, I can't quite describe the smell, but damn it smells good! Something appropriate for the 25+ crowd in my opinion, for a grown man, but not too brash to be worn by a more timid type of person, it gives you attitude. Now, 2 hours after the initial application, it is still going strong. I smell something green, leathery and very bold. I certainly don't smell any tobacco at this moment. Maybe later it will change (yes, it did). It is a wonderful blind buy and I am not disappointed that I bought Quorum. THUMBS UP!

I was looking for a nice green pine fragrance in winter time and thought about buying a new one. And then I checked my collection and suddenly in the back of the closet I found Quorum from Puig. Sprayed it and I concluded that I have already the perfect pine frag. This is so pleasant and I have purchased this for the first time more than 30 years ago. The new version that I bought was 28 Euro's for 100 ml and is just as great as the original one. The sharp green opening sets the senses straight. The green pine and wood heart is just wonderful and the dry down is very pleasant. Performance is really great and long lasting. There is a masculine woody, leather with spicy touches. For some Quorum maybe somewhat dated but I think it's a masterpiece.

One of my favorite vintage fragrances of all time. This is beautiful, classy and timeless, yet you swear you've smelled it somewhere, on someone you remember fondly. Opens with a strong old school fresh citrusy soapyness, then drying down to a piercing pine, and quickly developing into the oakmoss and woody tobacco that this fragrance does especially well. I would say it's a little pissy, but not in an uncomfortable or bad way. Wear this anywhere, any time of the year. It's a grounding scent that I find I can wear every day without getting tired of. Lasts a solid 7 hours, projects like crazy for the first bit, but becomes a skin scent after an hour or two. Price: 10/10 Longevity: 6/10 Sillage: 7/10 Smell: 9/10 Bottle: 8/10 Overall: 8/10

Blind buy at Ross just because. I was an 80’s teen but didn’t know what this smelled like so I can’t compare vintage and current, and the box says it’s made in Spain. Let me just come right out and say that I absolutely hit the jackpot with Quorum. In a nutshell, it’s a smoky oakmoss blending with a sweet, woody incense and honey-like amber. If dark green had a scent, I think this would be a perfect match. I’m an over 55 woman and it smells amazing on me, as well as on our 20 y/o son. He loves it, too, so I guess I’ll share it with him. It reminds me of Guerlain’s Mitsouko with the sexy amber finish. I dare say that Quorum also remind me of Tabu by Dana. Rich, enticing, sexy, enveloping, alluring...what a treasure.

Blind buy. This threw me back to my youth. smellin these strong colognes with such a character at that time was a daily thing. Sure old fashioned but what a great buy :) My wife hates it so I think I will wear it only during my occasional business trips trying not to offend anyone :) This opens strong on pine and citruses. The projection nid pretty strong filling a small room for one good hour. In the drydown the oakmoss is dominant over a soar tobacco I can barely pick up. Longevity is quite solid with a good 6-8 hours. All seasons but not for the hottest summer days. This is not for the faint hearted. A no-compromise mature manly scent

Quorum is a masterpiece, and I rarely say this about anything these days. But credit must be given wherever it's due. This is a timeless classic, that can practically be worn anytime anywhere. Why this frag is slept on by the majority mainly has to do with bad reviews and word of mouth. Some compare it to Polo Green, others say it resembles PR. To me, it smells like neither - it's simply above them. It does its own damn thing and its fantastic. The newer formulations are just as good, just slightly toned down. If you can find a vintage with real oakmoss, then you're in for a real treat. No kid stuff, best suited for mature individuals.

An absolute classic masterpiece of masculinity alongside the likes of Aramis. I get really exhausted by reviews that talk about how much better vintage is, as if all of us have access to it and just "choose" to use the current version. I will admit, Quorum has some longevity problems and a special edition would probably sell really well. However, the current is not a "synthetic chemical mess", nor is it "cheap" and "unwearable". It's a working class classic for mature, confident men. The problem is not the cologne, the problem is there aren't as many of those kind of men as there used to be.

People who call certain fragrances "old man", "dated", or "too strong" are losers whose opinion/tastes deserves zero respect. This is god-level stuff. Edit: Furthermore, all these comments about "not getting compliments" is complete BS. I've had multiple women say I smell great when wearing this. As long as you are charismatic and charming, most women will think you smell at least decent (if you bathe) with anything on. The fragrance is only part of the equation, another (vital) part is the man and how he carries himself and, indeed, carries the fragrance.

New fave, it's very sexy and masculine yet i found the floral scents to linger on my skin, which i love! while it still noticeably maintains the pine and incense notes wonderfully. it smells more of the sandalwood snd carroway on a paper. I love the oakmoss and tobacco and leather notes too it's all blended in a captivating way using the amber and initial uniting citrus smells that i admittedly did not notice very much at first! really complex and again sexy and masculine!!!! i am 27 male and just now getting more interested in designer scents! :) 👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I can see from the reviews it doesn't sit well will the younger generation. For old fogies like me it's awesome. It's been around forever. It's quite a powerful scent with great longevity. Loads of compliments like "you smell so clean and fresh as if you've just stepped out of a shower". Quorum Silver is another contender. It's been discontinued so stock up if your a fan of that too. Sybaris was my favourite Puig scent of all time. Why on earth was it discontinued. Wish they would reintroduce it. Puig such a great name in mens fragrances.

Quorum is kin to Yatagan, Bogart PH, Davidoff Zino and perhaps even Paco Robanne PH. It is not kin to Polo Green. This shows you how awful people's noses and scent memory are. Polo and Quorum open totally different, mids are different, dry down way different. Since they are both considered green scents... the malnosed pick the best of the green pile and thow it up against the reminds me of wall just to see it stick. Quorum is great in its own way, Polo Green is too.. but they are not even close to the same smell.

I wonder why these old ones always get the attention of me - who are young generation. By an image promotion accidentally, OG Quorum is the first perfume that impressed me and made me fall into the game. Unluckily, I can't purchase it in my country. And today, 2 years later, finally! What a versatile fragrance. I just want to state that OG Quorum is the wildest and sexiest smell that I ever sprayed on my body. Totally love! Old but gold. Whenever and Wherever for mature personalities.❤️

Been wearing this more and more recently and I love it. They don’t make frags like this anymore. It’s just so masculine. There’s this powerful green/earthy soap layer that covers up this caraway/spicy note which is reminiscent of BO but in a good way. It smells like you have been laboring all day chopping down trees and some old school deodorant is working over time to cover up the sweat. I know this sounds weird but it actually smells pleasurable and mature. One of my favorites.

Not the dank, smoky, lush green of Polo, not as bright and sharp as Paco Rabanne--vaguely similar to both but with a dryer, deeper, darker, and woodier greenness. I can't compare it to earlier versions but the modern formula from a tester, and even the canned deodorant, smells excellent to me. Only halfwits, chronic anosmics, or liars would dismiss it as simplistic or Pine-Sol. I slightly prefer both Silver and Aqua but I should wear this one more often.

this smells proper cheap going on, then it mellows and the 80s possess you. you grow a moustache spontaneously, female or not. your chest hair triples and you find yourself wearing a sport coat with the sleeves rolled up. this is the sort of scent that makes you hold the door open for women and smack their asses on the way through. and you smell so damn good you get away with it every time and get the occasional phone number as well.

Find a vintage bottle, even a splash. The older bottles have a richer, more earthy scent profile. The green/pine and patchouli are still there but the oakmoss, leather and tobacco get amped up over time. On second thought...don't. Leave those old bottles for me. Go out for nice pizza instead. added: Cannot believe that Furyo, a cheap, dumpster fire of a fragrance, gets a much higher numeric rating than Quorum on fragrantica!

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly in fragrance form. Pine trees, sage brush, dusty trails, saddle leather and tobacco with hints of gun smoke. Blind buying this fragrance is like getting into an epic duel over Arch Stanton's grave only to realize that the gold is buried in the grave next to him marked "unknown." Hits strong but goes smooth just like every Clint Eastwood movie. Not for everybody but everybody should own this.

This was a blind buy and based on the price i wasnt expecting much, instead I think I've found my new signature scent. This is a loud, powerful fragrance that slaps you in the face and says "I'm here now and I don't care if you like me or not" Vaguely reminiscent of a mix between polo green,green irish tweed and aramis Younger guys may struggle to pull this off but if you can, you WILL be noticed and complimented

So good. So, so good. Herbal, tobacco, leather blended perfectly. Strong but airy, light and lasting. We need to kill the term “cheapie” in this community because it colours our perception of what a high-quality fragrance is. This is exceptional, but it gets relegated to the cheapie category and for that reason is not appreciated enough. No skin off my back, though, I can enjoy this all alone.

This is a decent priced vintage thats easily obtainable. Its a gentlem's scent where it keeps you in a scent bubble, but wont fill a room. It has that nice masculine fougere vibe thats rather soapy and clean. Ill probably get a big bottle. I got a 30ml for cheap and its early 2000s. Performance is decent. I got about 4 hours, but the animalics will last until you scrub it off the skin. 8.25

When I spray this on, I get a de'ja vu of spraying vintage Eau Sauvage. I have a bottle Eau Sauvage from the 70's which I love but the scent last about 30 minutes. This has the same dna and stays around longer. Both are fresh scents that smell like a barber shop in the 70's and while that may not seem like a flattering statement, it is. This fragrance and a pair of jeans just work!

I don’t have the vintage and I’m sure it’s bomb, but the current formulation is absolutely worth getting, especially for the price. At first it has a bit of the dated urinal puck/bathroom cleaner vibe of Lapidus Pour Homme. However that subsides in a few minutes and you’re left with a fantastic green/spicy, high quality scent. Let it settle and give it a chance, it’s a keeper.

This was the first aftershave (that's what we called them back then) I was ever gifted, and wore regularly, many, many years ago. My wife doesn't think it's fantastic, but I do. I own several vintage bottles, and I break one out on the rare days I am on my lonesome. Fire some of this on, and it instantly puts me in a good mood. You can't put a price on that. Wonderful stuff.

I got 3 vintage bottles of this magic potion. Never tried the modern versions so I cant speak for that, but Every time I wear this, I am always shocked how good this is. I love the opening but the dry down is where the magic is at . Lasts for ages on me with a solid projection. The vintages are getting harder to find and the prices are creeping up so don't hesitate long.

Less soapy-piny than Paco Rabanne Pour Homme and less tobacco heavy than Polo Green, Quorum is surprisingly a little more subtle than these two legends when it comes to blending its main notes. It's no less potent though, and definitely no less masculine. All in all a fantastic classic manly scent that can be worn all year, and an absolute steal for the price.

Got to love Quorum. its an interesting scent, combining a woody chewing tobacco with a citrus with a sort of fougere with a freshness from caraway, all at the same time. It;s kinda new school and old school together. It;s a very masculine fragrance thats for sure, kinda bitter, kinda outdoorsy, and also kinda leathery, a bit of pine, slightly enticing.

it's a great manly strong green fresh fragrance, for any season, smells like freshly crushed Cypress leaves. just don't put more than two distant sprays as you'll quickly get anosmia and won't be smelling it at all, so you might use more next time and then you'll smell like spices to other people. With Quorum, Less is more.

QUORUM is an absolute work of genius. Even in it's modern form it is just a perfect masculine cologne. The sandalwood/grapefruit accord is stunning and really stands out and all of the other notes can individually be identified and are perfectly blended. One of the all-time greats and a hall of famer. A 5 out of 5!

Listen, I own all the old school classics (Aramis, Paco Rabanne Pour Homme, Polo Green, Azzaro Pour Homme, Kouros, Zino, etc.), this is my hunting ground, and I can tell you for free that Quorum is one of the immortals in this category. You just cannot find a more solidly and unmistakably manly scent.

Amazing scent, it’s classy and suitable for a blind buy if you consider yourself a Confident and Manly Man. Immediately the smell can be described as Rugged Fresh, with a nice Machismo funk. Great for Winter wear, awesome for most workplaces that do physical labour or some kind of trade related work.

QUORUM is a true 80's powerhouse & a true woody aromatic fougere masterpiece🏆 but the problem is the current version is different from the vintage version & not in the good way👎 if you can then get the vintage version only! Sadly the reformulation did harm this masterpiece!

RL Polo green alike with extra soapy clean vibe. It is so full of nostalgia & teleporting me back to special someones. It maybe a scent of a few generations back but its masculinity remains the same. A good choice in morning fragrance.
