Pan

Sweet earthy woody patchouli-like smell is the first thing hit my nose (I guess it should be the Virginia cedar), it’s a really surprisingly good surprise; I thought the green juice might smell more like airy meadowy air. No, my guess is wrong. It’s getting warmer, and more patchouli-like, thick, dark brown, earth with a nice comfy even a little bit medicine-like twist; a something like sundried, really dry dates infused with some hay-smelling herbals. Later on, Pan still has the nice dried dates/patchouli combo, but with a tiny bit goat hint. About the goat’s smell, I’ve never smelt a goat before, the only thing I’ve smelt is goats’ cheese, which made me feel like vomiting, but the goat’s smell in Pan is just right to my nose, really discreet, just a hint, of the hey, animal, sunshine, freedom of running around in a farm kinda smell. Pan is not a typical scent I would wear, but it is calming, doesn’t have any commercial perfume’s synthetic/plastic/aggressive edge, and reminds me a lot of aromatherapy, and burning earthy grounding essential oil. I like the smell of it. Try it at least once.

Hmm, menarik sekaligus lucu juga mengetahui bahwa ada parfum yang terbuat dari sekresi kelenjar kambing yang terletak di belakang tanduk kambing jantan. Tapi hal ini diambil terutama untuk menghindari perburuan dan pembunuhan terhadap rusa musk dan musang pandan (small Indian civet). Jadi goat hair tincture berbau "prengus" ditujukan terutama sebagai alternatif pengganti untuk musk dan civet. Lebih ramah lingkunagn dan sayang hewan. Sayang parfum ini tidak tersedia di Indonesia. Dan lagi di Indonesia "a proper lady" seharusnya berbau wangi yang flowery (bebungaan) bukan animalistic (seperti musk, civet, castoreum, dll) Mengenai bau musk yg pernah saya cium ada dua yaitu white musk Body Shop yang bagi saya terkesan tawar, polos, tidak terdefinisi, seperti keringat manusia yg belum terpengaruh bakteri permukaan kulit mungkin..... Sedangkan yg kedua adalah Jovan Musk for Women, yg sekilas baunga mirip pomade atau haircream pria era 80-an. Terlalu berminyak jadi kesannya eneg, gak enak, mungkin juga terpengaruh kondisi iklim Indonesia yang panas dan lembap. Commonly in Javanese the unique stinky smell from goat is called "prengus". And this idea of making perfums from goat burst me into lough. LOL. Sorry for I can not make a long review for this one in English properly.

I like this uneasy to wear, merry, horny little fragrance ;o)) It's extremely sharp, but cozy, like a little goat. It's a matter of taste: my mom hates goat's milk because of this "awful" scent, and I love it just because of the same thing. ;o))

I wanted to try this, but unfortunately, the seller doesn't seem to want to respond to emails OR tweets. If I manage to to actually ever get a response, I'll hopefully be able to give a review of the actual perfume, rather than the seller.

So if i give my dogs a haircut and then make a tincture out of their nasty smelling hair ill have a good alternative for musk? It doesnt sound bad at all tbh
