Liquid Dreams

A warm and sunny spring day in a bottle! And today literally happens to be a warm and sunny day in early spring. I spritzed on Liquid Dreams not knowing what type of scent it might be, and I am really amazed and impressed with how perfectly it fits in with the weather and the happy mood. I certainly detect linden, which always smells to me like light honey with a just a smidgen of lime peel. Linden is the biggest note, but it is perfectly adorned with other uplifting florals as well as greeness that's similar to newly cut grass, but the green part is subtle. The longer it wears, the more it seems like there is a balsamic quality in the base that makes me think of beeswax or maybe even the tiniest bit of benzoin? This is a very beautiful scent, highly recommended for linden lovers. Linden is a note that I have always adored, but when it's a soliflore it can be overpowering; heady in a way. Here it is perfectly blended so that it's very apparent but very delicate too. Seems like it could be a perfume for spring fairies. Really nice work by Tanja Bochnig! I thought I was done with my review, but I have to add this. I am sitting down writing this with the windows wide open. There is a spring breeze blowing in carrying the scent of fresh-cut grass (somebody outside was literally cutting grass a few minutes ago). I am amazed at how the scent of the green grass blends with the fragrance that is radiating from my pulse points. It actually enhances and compliments the scent, creating an amazing spring bouquet. I could not be more happy with this perfume today. Disclosure: I wrote my review some time ago. I now carry April Aromatics in my shop, but my opinions are still my own.

Absolutely gorgeous. I agree with everything Solcrust said about this fragrance. It transports me back to something very happy except I feel I can't get enough of it. The sharp citrus opening is wonderfully blended with something else, but I don't know linden or osmanthus well enough to recognize it. I can picture going bankrupt on $4 samples but loving this one as much as April Aromatics' Agartha, I really need to make sure I try every one of their fragrances. It's been a long time since I got excited about a new perfume - this one exceeds all expectations!

Liquid Dreams..formerly "Spring Dreams"...

I am amazed at precision with which Tanja Bochnig, the Creator of this fragrance line named each scent! I waited for a week before writing a review for this fragrance, walking in a cloud of Liquid Dreams and trying to solve it’s mystery! It is like this scent works on every cell in the body, discarding old elements and rejuvenating the memory of the cell...When immersed in Liquid Dreams, it’s just That! I begin to recall worry free childhood, when we used to spend Summer days running in the fields of flowers, whirling and laughing and being happy!

I get bright tangerine with floral notes. Or looking at the notes list, its a lovely orange-y lemon tempered by linden. Really pretty, really spring-like, though dry down does get a bit home-made on me where the base oils don’t agree with my skin chemistry. It’s not bad, but it gets a bit muddled. Overall smells like candy. My husband smelled bubblegum. If so, it’s orange Hubble Bubble.
