Vetiver Coeur

Vetiver Coeur that is a very creamy sunshine and gives pure happiness, like a scent for the most precious newborn baby. I'd like to be treated as a beloved baby putting it onto me. Not like other vetiver fragrance at all, for vetiver indulgence it does not serve. But this creation is wonderfully made. Creamy sunshine in the bottle. Very well balanced one. Don't pick up separate notes easily. It just smell so wonderful and you cannot describe nothing but he bright color and warmth around you, like to be loved with this scent. The price is too much. But I would go for one one day if I can. Those beautiful things can be detected in the dry down intimately, others might think it is a normal citrusy cologne if you wear it and paying this kind of pricing for this quality blend of quality material, I think it is more for oneself' pleasure rather for others in my opinion. But still, it is intoxicating and one can feel loved and cared by embraseing this scent. In the dry time after one or two hours I finally found a little bit of vetiver mezcla with sandalwood which make it incensy, fresh woody finally. Other vetiver fragrances have their carácters, like Fat Electrician/Hemingway/Hiram Vetiver/Bourbon Vetiver/Vetiver Royal Bourbon/Sultan Vetiver....

The initial light sharp greenness of bergamot is incredible. Tanja makes bergamot smell even more bergamot-y than usual. Then the vetiver heart arrives brightly, supported by sandalwood, and a hint of rose. The dry down is quite sandalwoody to me. A beautifully orchestrated perfume of natural, true ingredients. This is a superb fragrance. Perfect for any gender, or gender-fluid folx. Next day musings: I could still smell this almost creamy, velvety, rich accord that remained for the 24 hours! The orris comes through at this point. After the dry down, I kept getting whiffs of grapefruit hours later! I don't know how Tanja accomplished this, but it's amazing. The twists and turns take you on the most amazing journey. Through this perfume I fully understood why vetiver is paired with grapefruit. It is sublime. ps- even my gf (who finds vetiver too much/too bitter, liked this and didn't even recognize it as vetiver, just "fresh". I had my assistant smell it 24 hours later -- she loved it and called it "fresh" as well, though I cannot imagine how she picked up on the opening notes at this point. Theres magic here.

This is not a vetiver forward fragrance—not rooty, dry, damp, astringent, nor too earthy or woody; it's very refined, balanced, & multifaceted unlike most [vetiver themed] natural fragrances. Start with a burst of bergamot, then sweet orange, lemon, & flowers take over—bright & cheery with a hint of aldehydic powderiness (without added chemicals!)—reminding me of Rosenlust {grapefruit, roses, & orris} with added orange blossom & sandalwood instead of rosewood. The spices give it savoriness while vetiver keeps it from being a full blown floral affair. It's essentially a very good niche & natural version of Guerlain's Vetiver Pour Elle, which might leave hardcore vetiver fans wanting more—though it indeed has a nice & long-awaited vetiver drydown.

This fragrance comes across to my nose as possessing a thick viscosity. I smell the citrus but it is not thin and tangy, it has been reduced to a gloop and stands equally next to the vetiver. Maybe it is the tobacco that is conveying the thickness. The other elements are there but in a supportive and blended capacity. I really enjoy the experience of smelling this one and tested it for a while before purchasing to make sure that I was buying it for the enjoyment and not just because it is unlike any other.

Don't understand that previous review...soapy lemon? No way. This vetiver perfume, is my favorite vetiver. I love how it blends in with the citrus and is never harsh or bitter, like vetiver can easily be. It is very complex, a lot of different notes appear over the hours that I wear it. It does have a slight powdery scent, but I cannot detect one single note. Its perfectly, smoothly blended. Love!!! Full bottle worthy. 10+

super fresh, citrusy and spicy take on vetiver

As i am a huge fan of all of April Aromatics creation, this is another one on my full bottle wishlist. A vetiver done so different. It opens with a citrus blast, not too sweet, rather heredic and slowly moves into a soft, velvety heart. The iris and orange blossoms are poking through, as well as a touch of rose....which then leads into the dry down of smooth sandalwood and vetiver. I always had problems with the harshness and bitterness of Vetiver. So here it is done beautifully to avoid this aspect. I love the trueness of the raw material. Natural yet still long lasting and so nice to wear. Now after 8 hrs, my shawl and skin still smell beautiful. All the notes have merged and left a sweet harmony. Def. full bottle worthy.

The most underrated vetiver perfume. Its creamy, citrusy, almost like a classic "eau de cologne". The vetiver is hiding somewhere, but I read its a soft vetiver extract, without the sharpness of a regular vetiver scent. I would call this the "natural" version of the classic vetiver from Guerlain, that unfortunately doesn't smell like it used to anymore way back when my dad was wearing it. This is an all day, every day, lighter profile perfume.

Vetiver is normally so heavily polished furniture wood....Vetiver Coeur is completely unexpected. It open up as a heavily citrus scented wood but not in a furniture polish way -at all. Super pleasant, creamy and appealing. I kept sniffing and sniffing. Like happily hiking on a wide dirt path through a sun dappled forest. Truly a light delightful scent. Wish it lasted a bit longer...but very worthy of a FB purchase.

It feels a bit cheesy due to the incredibly sharp lemon. As time goes on, a floral centered on orange blossom emerges. It starts to smell like a natural floral extract, which is not very clean. It sounds like I'm giving it a bad rap, but it didn't smell that bad. The tobacco tones of Clary Sage are also strongly felt.

Goes on fruity and floral, with some nice blending, but the dry down gets a bit tar-like, like Arpege. Not sure where the vetiver is, unless it’s that dark bitter tar note. It’s okay for most of it’s life but at the end there, I didn’t like it. Not a scrubber but a strange journey that didn’t meld with my skin.
