Aquãlis Magnum Opus “KRUGER”, is a prismatic essence that aims to pay homage to the first South African president Paul Kruger, who happened to be the brand’s founder great grandfather, the pearly composition works in such a way that captures the imaginary smell of gold, king of metals, as it’s inspiration is directly linked to the famous south african gold coin Krugerrand. The luminous essence unfolds on a fusion of rose oil and rose absolute dancing in perfect harmony with pink pepper and pillowy white musk, so incredibly smooth in texture that it literally left me speechless, admiring its majestic aroma since the very first time I smelled it. KRUGER transitions circulate in golden kaleidoscopic fractals, featuring a marriage of papyrus, crystalline resins and patchouli enveloped in the velvety presence of vanilla, tonkabean and amber, but measured in the right proportions as with every material in this composition, calibrated to perfection. What sets the Aquãlis crown jewel apart from most perfumes I’ve tried is the texture, which I, for a lack of better words, can only describe as an olfactory set of notes done in a piano finish. This is a smell suited for a King, a scent to wear when you’re dressed to impress in a fine velvet tuxedo, or perhaps when hosting a New Years Eve party. In a nutshell, when you want to make a serious and everlasting statement, KRUGER is the way to go.

This is easy my top 5. I can't get tired of this. I first thought it had Oud Satin Mood vibes but I smelled the two side by side and they are not even similar. They are distant cousins. Both are powdery, but this is heavy on the patchouli on my skin which is one of my favourite notes. It smells expensive (which it is) and worth it. My step is different, I feel powerful wearing this. @PerfumeKick I think you got a dupe because real gold leaf flakes shouldn't get stuck it should come out as gold dust when you spray it. The original smells amazing.

Kruger by Aquãlis, a fragrance for dark nights and parties. Leaves a trail of the type that makes heads turn. It's bold, warm and sexy but not loud. Aquãlis, thank you for the sample.

Easy to speak well of it, if you are sponsored blogger and get this stuff sent to you for paid reviews 😂 Anyhow, Kruger is an okay fragrance. Price is not justifiable by no means of amount of golden flakes floating in my purchased sample. It is oriental fizzy sweet rose vanilla with saffron. If you tried oud satin mood you know the drill. Same style, same sillage, lesser longevity. Very redundantly made. Dry down is lovely warm amber but yet again, worth having only if your money burns the pocket. Leans more masculine. P.S. My sample got jammed on 3rd spray with the flakes, I presume this can easily happen to the bottle too.

It is as if being anointed richly with the radiance of the sun and ambrosial scent of spiced rose oil coming to full bloom with creamy vanilla and tonka bean. Kruger is the ultimate example of the perfumer: Jean Charles Migno's craft. Silky layers peel back to reveal more mystery beneath it. The scent grows dense with such finesse and nuance of the softest leathery papyrus and a cloud of musk to give that lingering depth as a balancing note. At base lies resinous amber combined with the smoothest sandalwood and patchouli that melt on my skin like a golden melange. The beauty of Kruger lies in its rich romance and subtlety. It reigns your body but never overwhelms it. With an oil concentration of 30% it has the strength and sillage I live for.
