Pink Sugar Sparks

I ordered this perfume based on the numerous positive reviews. I was very excited to receive it, as I very much adore FlowerBomb but can't bring myself to spend the $150 for it. Well, at first delightful whiff, I knew this one was a winner. It smells almost exactly like FlowerBomb, but there are a few distinct differences. To write an honest review, the first day I wore only the Pink Sugar Sparks. The next day I wore Sparks on one arm and FlowerBomb on the other to compare notes throughout the day, plus longevity and sillage. Both scents have similar sillage that is heavy for the first fifteen minutes, and mellows out to a moderate sillage for the next several hours. They also both lasted throughout my work day, though Sparks still had a sweet vanilla scent clinging to my skin after FlowerBomb had given up the ghost. The most obvious note-difference is the intense vanilla and coffee in Sparks, though this difference wasn't noticeable until the dry-down of both scents. I actually prefer this, as I prefer gourmands to florals. Both scents have a strong patchouli opening, followed by spicy floral mids. The vanilla comes out after the scent has been on my skin for a while, and it is sweet but not cloying. Flower Bomb stayed a floral in its final song on my arm. Sweet, very pleasant, but I still like the vanilla better. Between the similar sillage, the almost identical opening, and comparable longevity, I highly suggest Pink Sugar Sparks if you are looking for a less costly alternative to FlowerBomb. At $22 (Ebay), it's a fantastic buy, even on its own merit. I prefer it to FlowerBomb and will definitely be buying more when I run out.

AWESOME! Blind buy...love at first sniff! Will definetly be draining this bottle. Although I might save it for September and October because it seems more like an autumn scent. This is probably the most successful blind buy I've ever had. And honestly, it was literally a last minute discovery and add to cart! I'm so pleased. Now, for my description. I honestly don't get any of the opening fruits, citruses, or tea. It goes straight to a yummy and scrumptious deep dark sweet vanilla( which actually smells more like tonka to me), a syrup sweetened cafe latte, and just the slightest hint of perfectly done patchouli. Maybe a hint of orchid and musk. Kind of reminds me of a sticky sweet musky toffee? This definitely is along the lines of Bond I Heart New York, Flowerbomb etc.- except this is extremely inexpensive and satisfying! It kind of reminds me of Rebelle too, but with its opening and drydown morphed into one very nicely balanced scent. This is an A+ in my book. If you like the fragrances I mentioned above, you will probably like this too. Giddy smiles for Sugar Sparks :)

I agree with the many other reviews stating that this smells like Flowerbomb. It is not identical; I find Flowerbomb to be heavier on the patchouli and floral notes. The green tea note that makes Flowerbomb a bit refreshing is not present in here either. I will say this, the longevity is almost or maybe just as good at a fraction of the price. With Pink Sugar Sparks, I get a vanilla fruitchouli, with raspberry being the fruit that stands out. It also has aspects that remind me of Jimmy Choo EDP. Perhaps the toffee and patchouli mix in Jimmy Choo is resembling what is the vanilla, coffee, and patchouli mix in this one if that makes much sense. Overall, I really enjoy it. The longevity is excellent for the price or for any price really; I cannot stress this enough. I'm not a huge fan of the original Pink Sugar; I don't think it's a bad scent, just not my style, but I sure do enjoy all of it's flankers. Strange, I know. I do think if you are looking for a budget friendly fruitchouli or gourmand scent, Aquolina is definitely the best place to look.

Beautiful scent. I owned Flowerbomb in the 100ml bottle and wore it all thru last fall/winter. I loved that scent but wen I went bak to repurchase, i saw that the price had gone up about 20-30$ (not sure but I kno it wasn't that pricey..I think I paid 130 for the full sized bottle n now it's 150). Though 20-30$ isn't that big of a difference, it is enough for me to not repurchase. I couldn't spray too many of spritz's of Flowerbomb without feeling like passing out. It can become much to heavy. Pink sugar sparks DOES smell like Flowerbomb without the extreme heaviness ( which sometimes made me feel like an old lady). PSS actually opens up with a brightness that Flowerbomb seems to lack for me. Then the dry down is jst warm sweetness that is most reminiscent of V&R's Flowerbomb. I am going to repurchase this for sure...n have a few backups too. Btw I work in a hospital n work 12hr shifts constantly moving n running around. After 12 looooong hectic hours I can still smell that warm sweetness that is oh soooo comforting to me.

I got this in the mail today and I have to say I really, really like it. Actually I love it. On me it's a completely wonderful mix of vanilla, coffee, patchouli and musk. And a funny thing is, a couple of days ago I smelled this amazing scent on one of my sweaters and I immediately started to try and find out what it was since none of my perfumes smell like that. And the very same second I sprayed this on me I recognized it! It was the scent I'd been looking for. When I think about it now I believe the wonderful smell on my sweater might be a love baby of Flowerbomb and Gold sugar, which I own and adore. However, Flowerbomb can be a bit sharp to my nose sometimes and the drydown isn't as lovely on me as on my sister who rocks it totally. (And finding a softer version of Flowerbomb was actually the reason why I decided to blind buy this). This really is a softer version of Flowerbomb to my nose and I've honestly never been more satisfied with a blind buy as I am with this! LOVE <3

For some reason, I've never smelled Flowerbomb, so I can't make a comparison. First blast, bubble gum and flowers, I also smell some licorice. But I think the coffee and patchouli blend to give that licorice scent. There is something a bit plastic about it during the first 15 minutes. It does fade though. Peach is the bed, Patchouli and the many florals lie on top. The Vanilla is not gourmand at all to me. It's a bit more sophisticated This is definitely an Autumn fragrance for me. ETA:I was able to do a side by side comparison with Flowerbomb. The first spray of each is almost indistinguishable to my nose. I actually like pink sparks better. It has more umpf. Whatever the licorice note is, smells more and more like cotton candy. In Flowerbomb, the tea definitely is the defining difference for me. That makes it a more versatile fragrance. That juxtaposed with the with the coffee in Pink Sugar Sparks makes all the difference.

I can definitely attest to Aquolina's Sparks having a similarity if not a great dupe for Viktor & Rolf's Flowerbomb. Normally I gravitate for sweet and gourmand scents but these two are an exception. This is a fresh, bubbly and sparkling, it hits the nail on that part. The coffee note really brings it's to new heights along with the heaviness of the patchouli but it remains sweet with the fruitiness of the peach and the warmth of the vanilla. If Flowerbomb is too pricy for your wallet, go for this alternative. Their like polarized sisters, a high end fashionista with class and a girls next door who a little edge. The sad part this is being discontinued, and I managed to snag two precious bottle of it. There a few on ebay selling but such a sad ending to such a wonderful and exhilarating perfume.

Here I am to share my love for this fragrance! Sugared cattelya orchid, smooth ground coffee, vanilla and peach fuzz. The same floral heart as flowerbomb, hints of raspberry that remind me of the raspberry in oriens, a tiny hint of green tea, and a nice smooth patchouli. Lasts 6 hours or even more. Well worth the money. I love the touch of coffee in here the very best, really adds that extra something. Love it! Very happy to have it in my collection. This does indeed sparkle, like flowerbomb it is fairly effervescent. Although not nearly as sparkly as flowerbomb with flowerbomb's strange not vanilla sweetness. Sugar Sparks on the other hand just goes straight to the vanilla. Flowerbomb is certainly a fair comparison to the fragrance but they are not identical twins IMO.

"peaches and cream" I know it depends on body chemistry, but on me it is heavy vanille and some fruits, raspberry and peach. Don't get me wrong, it is not a childish parfume, more like the grown up version of pink sugar (you can definiately tell that they're relatives). Very very sweet, but not like a candy, more like a milkshake. :) After a little time it becomes a little bit deeper, I don't know which note is responsible for that, coffee or patchouli maybe. On me the sillage is quite good, but not too strong, and the lasting power is about 6 hours, however I really like to spay it around me every 3-4 hours just for sniffing. :) After all it is a nice, but very sweet vanille smell. If you like gourmand scent, I bet you're gonna like this.

I just got this perfume today and it's amazing! I agree with others who are saying it's a dupe of Flowerbomb. That is a favorite of mine and this is so similar you almost can't tell a difference. When I frist sprayed it, I was worried because it had an almost 'powdery' scent at first, but that went away very quickly. I can't detect the coffee note, but the overall effect is perfect. This has a wonderful vanilla and tea undertone - the entire combination is exactly what I like a perfume to be! Not as strongly intense as Pink Sugar, which makes it good for a more subtle scent. It is sweet, but not too much and has the depth and warmth that make it pretty much 'perfect' for me. And definitely a happier price than Flowerbomb ;)

Is it weird that I find Pink Sugar Sparks meditative? Lol! I mean, it's a 20 dollar fruitchouli but it doesn't smell cheap, and it also doesn't contain head shop levels of patch by any means. The patchouli is somewhat assertive yet modest, soft and airy, cushioned by vanilla and freshened by raspberry. It starts off with a dry bitter tinge of bergamot peel and bold raspberry candy, moves through a channel of coffee caramel, and ends in sugary vanilla, while patchouli holds your hand the entire way. Still though, there is something in this nonlinear scent which reminds me of late afternoon. Why is it so calming? Is there Valium in this?...One spray is ample and it lasts forever. A multi-dimensional meditation on sweetness.

Izzaaayyy-- I am exactly like you. I loooove Pink Sugar and all sweet gourmands, and patchouli makes me sick.... esp when it's masculine or overpowering, such as Angel or Chopard Wish. In Sparks, the patch is hidden with the coffee. It's there.... but maybe 1/4th of the potency of Angel. It's very similar to the amount of patch in La Vie Est Belle. I also love LVEB, Jimmy Choo, Oriens-- all gourmands/fruitchoulis where the patch is well blended. Now, I also find that patchouli hides in winter, and I live in the very cold, very snowy Upper Michigan in the US. So that may help patchouli scents smell better to me. My advice? Give Sparks a try. I think you'll be fine, esp if you like Flowerbomb. ;)

First off, I know perfume is not spelled correctly in my username. I teach English for a living, I can spell. I cannot change my username. Review: Stronger than Flowerbomb. Great dupe. I own both, and I like this one a lot more. Has a slight, barely detectable Pink Sugar undertone. I can smell Pink Sugar, but very slightly. As if I had sprayed Pink Sugar, and then Flowerbomb on top. That is what this perfume smells like. Slightly smoky smell to it. Smells expensive. I really like this perfume. For reference, I have Pink Sugar, Simply Pink, and Pink Flower. If you have any of Aquolina scents you will like this. If you have Flowerbomb, you will LOVE this.

As soon as you open the bottle it smells like when you walk into an expensive boutique! It`s very sweet and sexy but also with a hint of freshness, like I said it reminds me of new clothing, or a new bag, I love it! I love patchouli and vanilla so this is the perfect combo. It lasts a pretty long while so this is really worth your money, I highly would suggest this if you have a girly personality. I don`t, but I love how it can transform me instantly into a prim and proper lady. This is good for either day or night. Seriously try it, if you love Flowerbomb you will love this! I feel like it`s the toned down version, I prefer this hands down!

I’ve been obsessively hunting for this for almost 3 years as I’m down to the dregs of my first bottle and thrilled to finally find Om fragrances who carry it. Paid big bucks plus ridiculous shipping charges to Canada but I was so excited to find it. well it arrived today and I’m so disappointed. Sprayed it on one hand and a bit from my original bottle on the other they don’t really compare 😔. The juice appears off colour a bit yellowish where mine is still clear. The Om bottle fades way faster and smells so much weaker and more berry than coffee/ patch. I’m sad and feel ripped off again

On my skin this is peaches and cream with a little bit of coffee and patchouli lingering in the background. The opening is very sparkling and fizzy, and then it turns very smooth and creamy. To me Pink Sugar Sparks smells like the baby of Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb, Dolce & Gabbana The One and Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium. I love that the peach is so dominant, since it’s one of my favorite notes. When it has been on the skin for many hours, it does smell a little bit like a toned down version of the original Pink Sugar. It's such a shame that this beauty is discontinued.

I've only tried Flowerbomb once or twice and don't quite remember how it smells, but Pink Sugar Sparks reminds me of La Vie Est Belle for sure. Also some similarities with Van Cleef & Arpels Oriens. It's a lovely sweet, fruitchouli which to me smells like patchouli, pralines, vanilla and raspberry, lots of raspberry, just how I like it at the moment! It makes a really good and affordable substitute for probably Flowerbomb and LVEB. Moderate longevity and moderate to soft sillage on my skin. Great value for money!! ♥♥♥♥♥

This is a happy, sweet scent. It definitely resembles Flowerbomb, Jimmy Choo, and La Vie Est Belle - imagine those three mixed with Pink Sugar, and you get a good idea what this smells like. The longevity and sillage are excellent, and the price is very drugstore. One of the best bargains in perfume!

Ok I'm probably the only one and a little crazy but Sparks reminds me of the Bond No. 9 NY for all! The black bottle. I REALLY want that one so now I'm just going to get Sparks and say I'm wearing the Bond! Haha I'm bad! : ) Oh and I officially think I like it more than the original. : )

My boyfriend always says I smell good when I wear this :) it's a warm scent, sweet and spicy. I wear it mostly in the winter, it's perfect for Christmas and cold days. And I usually wear it at night time, for a party or dinner. I like this one better than Pink Sugar.
