Arabian Knight

This smells like Layton mixed with aventus+ camphorous and minty notes to my nose. To some that's enough for them to roll their eyes and brush it off as a another uninspired clone but I'm telling you theres something to this. I tried it at the Arabian oud boutique and it really did intrigue me. Has touches of citrusy and as I said camphorous and minty freshness, so decently appropriate for warm weather (though I wear anything whenever personally) although the silver flanker may be better for warm weather use, however that fragrance didn't have that same effect on me. The lady in the shop even gave her personal recommendation for silver but I still stuck with the original. When I got home and sprayed it I think I liked it even more. Loving this scent. Performance isn't anything amazing but I'm hoping it'll strengthen over the next few weeks.

A fragrance every man needs in his collection. This fragrance is nothing short of stunning from start to finish. I've had a few weeks to sit with it and truly take it in. I don't get much of a powdery note from it, but the citron is amazing. There is a bit of metal note on the dry down, but it almost makes you smell, shinier? It is difficult to describe unless you smell it yourself. It's almost as if you smell like a brilliant, shiny, citrus ball of energy. This is probably my most complimented summer fragrance but it is for sure versatile enough to wear in spring, summer, and fall. This is more than safe enough for a blind buy and I guarantee you that people will ask you what you're wearing. Longevity - 10/10 Sillage - 10/10 Scent - 11/10

I was umm-ing and ahh-ing about purchasing this fragrance because it's a little more than I would normally spend, but it's completely exceeded my expectations. After spraying a small amount on a t-shirt to test it out I was still able to detect some of the powdery notes people were talking about from across the room even hours later, but somehow not in a way that felt overpowering! Now after spraying some on my wrist and letting it sit for a while I'm able to smell the rose heart notes which is something I've previously struggled to identify. The overall profile is SO appealing to my taste, I was also a bit worried about the powdery smell overpowering the woodiness but all the different accents compliment each other so well in my opinion.

#559 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Smelled this before with Lattafa Ejaazi, but this is much better quality. If you added a citron note to one of my all-time favorites, Xerjoff Alexandria II, you'd have this. Ajmal Wood, a scent also worth owning, is also close to this except that has a cardamom note not cinnamon. I am not usually a fan of cinnamon, but it really is nice here. This is ambery, vanillic, spicy, musky, about as good as it gets and worthy of purchase at a $100. Probably not office wear, but casual and date night for sure, especially in cooler weather. Inviting and unisex IMO, and I know a woman I will definitely buy this for. The rose note takes it a tad to the Oriental side, but not strongly, so I will definitely wear this.

I ordered a 5ml sample. Wow, this is a beautiful fragrance. It is so pleasant and calming to smell. I guarantee if I wore this out, it would be a compliment puller. It has a familiar smell, and it took me a while to work out what it was—Lynx Africa! Don't get me wrong, this is a far higher quality fragrance, and no one will mistake you for wearing a $5 deodorant, but there is something vaguely similar about the scent profile in the air. Overall this is a great fragrance and blind buy worthy—inoffensive, mass appealing, and safe for both the office and date nights. This is one ladies will love to smell on a well-dressed man. Overall 7/10

Opens with citrus, which goes after a few minutes. Most of the rest is a powdery animalic oud. Which I really like. Very good quality, and extremely well balanced. You need a good few sprays for this to really shine imo. It performs very well, and would work best as a signature everyday scent. However, apart from the oud note, I think this is on the border or designer and niche in terms of scent profile. Its very mass appealing and safe. Worth the money, but get a 3/4ml tester first, so that you dont have to ration sprays and can still do a few test runs. 8.5/10

Being used to French perfumery only, I initially did not like the smell and thought it was a fragrance I liked, but did not love. A few months pass and I cannot get enough of this fragrance. Very masculine, mass appealing, strong sillage, and extremely long lasting. Can be worn as a daily signature, to work, gym, night out. Works in any weather and location. If you are not used to Arabic perfumery, then you may initially not love it, but I can guarantee you will LOVE this later on.

Absolutely beautiful, masculine leaning amber frag. I see comps to Layton and Alex II on here, and I get none of that. What I do smell though, is actually some similarities to Pure Malt and the original Amen. There's another popular fragrance that's on the tip of my tongue also, but cannot think of the other comp. But as far as middle eastern fragrances go, this is about as safe and easy as you can get. This would be right at home being released as a PDM or SWY.

A warm floral lemon amber cream enveloped by slightly sharp cinnamon/cedar notes. The cinnamon is not sweet but a dry cinnamon. Personally, I really enjoy this fragrance. Great for any season. Longevity is 7-12 hours. Sillage is heavy and can be noticed from about 6 feet (2 meters) away. Signature scent worthy but may not be for everyone. If you can, try before you buy. My blind buy was worth it. A bottle can be had at under $100 USD which is really nice! 10/10

Amazing value for money fragrance that has a scent profile better than its price point. More masculine leaning. One may get nose blind to it, but stays on clothes for the entire day and does need 6-7 sprays to be meaningful. I love it for the scent profile - dark, mysterious, woody, masculine and understated. Other performance parameters are average and as mentioned, needs a liberal dose of spraying. Strongly recommend for age group 30+.

I have this and the silver and can't tell them apart really. They are very similar and redundant to own both. Arabian Oud is my favorite fragrance house and I got them both from discounters. They both give barbershop vibes clean and masculine. I don't think women should wear this in my opinion but to each their own. This is fresh and clean and signature scent worthy I love them both. The performance is great and pulls compliments.

This is my aventus killer this is pure beast mode 18 hours plus performance you have to scrub this off your skin to me this smells like aventus from Creed if you're going out to the club surrounded by guys wearing the average fragrance you will definitely stand out and it's definitely loud my Sillage was over 8 ft on a hot day on a cold day it's about six it is definitely overwhelming 6 sprays and you will kill the game

To be honest, at first, I was not impressed of Arabian Knight, because I prefer more daring scents, but the more I wear it the more I love it. A dry ambery spicy fragrance. I love the rose and the cinnamon combo in this one. Longevity is good but projection is soft. This is like a arabian man suited with a tuxedo. Middle eastern fragrance, but not too much. 8.5/10.

This is one of the best and most unique musky amber scents I've ever smelt. Blended to perfection. An easy signature scent for any guy. Oddly can wear for literally any occasion. I don't like the idea of telling people something is a safe blind buy but... No one will NOT like this on you. If you spray this on and someone says you smell horrible, I'll Zelle you $1

People mistake it with the silver one i think!it is not like ferragamo neither montale or pure malt or any frag in the list of reminds me of...with all respect people still has amateur nose...its defiently 50%boss bottled edt plus 25% ultra male...and dry down is different,similar to perfumes with oud maybe from mancera or montale

Update a few weeks in: This has now become part of my routine rotation. This is so good and unique! Gorgeous, fresh, simple and complex, fascinating, original deep, eminently wearable. Nothing massively groundbreaking here but stil original and very well executed. A perfect gentleman scent for the office or all occasions.

A fragrance that will make literally everyone asks what are you wearing. It very masculine, fresh and spicy at the same time. The amber and vanilla give some deepness to the fragrance. Projection and longevity are 11 out of 10.

This is so creamy but woody fresh. Very accessible any day. More like a high profile person in a company getting off from Rolls Royce. Classy. This gives me a good reason to stay away from sauvage and aventus identity. 9/10

I'm currently testing this from a sample that I bought. With those little spray atomizers, you need a couple of pumps to get some skin covered but it sprayed quite well & I did 2.5 pumps (first one was the partial). One is enough (for being inside the house at least). The opening....oh man it is fantastic. Smooth & seductive with that little bit of citrus. After about 45 min to an hour, it mellows out & the cinnamon notes start to hit. That 2.5 sprays (it was just on my inner elbow) was fine for the opening but that cooldown...damn that thing hit like a truck! I had to wash a couple of times just to get it to mellow out. a few hours later after it went to the final notes, I did one spray on my other inner elbow & it was a whole lot better. It seems that once it sits for a bit on your skin, it gets amped up & pumps out the notes. The cinnamon goes all the way through until the end & the vanilla isn't that sweet vanilla either...it's a boozy, mellow vanilla & compliments the cinnamon extremely well. I don't get too much of the floral notes but the cedar is there chilling with the vanilla. As much as I was hoping that this could be an all-season signature scent, I find that although you could pull it off, it'd be better suited for occasions other than every day run of the mill type of stuff. I'm still on the fence about buying one as it would probably last me forever but the price is a tad too high. Maybe if I get a wild hair or it goes on sale, I'll pick one up. But overall, this thing PERFORMS!!!

Very long-lasting summer freshie, and it does pull compliments. The citron with the cinnamon is unique, especially since you don't see a prominent cinnamon note in summer fragrance often at all... or ever. Longevity and projection are fantastic. As I've come to learn more about my personal preferences, however, I find that this is a bit too abrasive for me. The abrasiveness is likely a combination of the extremely potent citron and cinnamon with perhaps an unlisted musk. It reminds me of a Parfums de Marly fragrance in the sense that it's powerful, punchy, and mass-appealing. No wonder it's Arabian Oud's best seller. From a distance it's very lovely, but since I have to spray it on myself it's simply too much to endure to the point of being headache inducing with a single spray. Objectively excellent fragrance at a great value, but unfortunately it's not for me. DM me if you're interested in my bottle (~90%, full presentation).

Astoundingly extremely high quality. I can relate to other reviewers stating it's a mix between Aventus and Layton (both of which I own), but I'd say it's 80% Layton and 20% Aventus, but in the dry down, Aventus quickly starts to dissipate and you're left with what to me is pretty much Layton. I'm very disappointed in this frag, I had a hope it would still hold it's own in the Middle Eastern Genre, but alas it does not, it's not even remotely like a Middle Eastern fragrance, it's almost as if it fell off a high end designer/Niche Maison, and there is nothing wrong with that. It is a massive people pleaser, and it is a very very nice fragrance, just not what I was expecting. I've worn this only once so far, so I will give it a few more wears and update again :) Extremely versatile, anyone can wear it pretty much anywhere, all year round, this is just my own humble subjective opinion,

I was not familiar with middle eastern brands so I honestly wasn’t sure what I was getting into with this blind buy which I chose for seeming to be quite easy to like. I am happy to report that this blind buy was a shining success. It’s a very toned down creamy citrus amber light spiced, drying down to a more woody vanilla base. No rough edges on this one and the florals are very well hidden. Honestly I don’t have much more to say about this one, it’s nothing THAT special but it is really enjoyable. High versatility, I will wear this just about it anywhere anytime any season. I think sillage is not great. Very oily and long lasting but it seems not travel very far at all.

At the begining i like & i purchased it but after a while to me it's just an Ok fragrance & i could get better options for the same price or less. Better to wear it for formal usage, it fits well with suits. cinnamon is the dominant note to my humble nose & i get a little bit of amber. regarding complements i didn't receive any complement so far. Longevity is good on clothes rather than skin, imo middle eastern fragrances companies have better longevity on clothes rather than skin & idk why!! Price after Arabian Oud's 50% discount offer maybe around 50$ but as i mentioned early i kinda regret buying it for this price. i give this one 6/10.

I bought my bottle recently in 2022, so it could be of a recent batch, especially that I bought it from the Arabian Oud boutique here in Riyadh. The projection is soft and weak; the whole experience is pretty soft. The longevity I can see it being good, but the soft projection makes it almost meaningless to me. I do like the scent, really good ambery and smooth experience, with that freshness of the Citron at the top. But the projection is awful. This fragrance could be much better. It's a shame.

Very well blended, neither straight forward nor highly complex, very classy, clean, manly with a considerate amount of powdery. Very much a barber shop leaning scent, so a bit more on the oldschool end for me. The citrus, rose and cinnamon are interacting beautifully. Woody notes add a darker profile. Amber adds warm cozy sweetness. The longer you wait the more the musk developes. I like it, though I wish it was a bit more modern.

I tried both this and the silver version together and they smell very similar. I will prefer this one. It's more masculine and more pronounced. The performance is very good and lasted 8+ hours on my skin. It's a true joker, perfect for all seasons and any occasion. It's a scent you can easily wear. The joker area I mentioned was filled with Eros, but when it's finished, I will definitely change to this one.

Remind of of histories de Parfums not a blue bottle. I know there are know aldehydes in this but the same vibe is given with the mix of cedar and citron. I wish it had just a tad less citron and more woods. I do enjoy this though. Arabian oud is such an underrated house in the western world. Great frags for the money.

this is a better (slightly more fruity sweet and citric) verison of the one edp. Im surprised to be the first to make that comparison. Quality is very good. Its a simple airy fragrance that lasts but isnt heavy. Couldn't smell anything on paper, until I put it on skin. Try this on skin and a lot gets revealed.

its safe dumb reach i agree with the comment below me ShaneL02 its layton with aventus mixed together.. i live in saudi arabia so i bought it when it was on sale for 65$ and i would buy it again for this price but i would not buy it at full retail.. and lucky me they always drop sales here in saudi arabia..

A really nice high quality masculine fragrance for everyday wear. Definately has a similar vibe as Aventus and layton but has better performance and more affordable. I layer 2 sprays of Molecule 02 (ambroxan) to make it last longer.

Citron is a true star here... The perfect amount of mystery and slick confidence to attract a thicc hipster gf. Matthew Patel from Scott Pilgrim vs. the World wears this.

A blind buy for me that I definitely don't regret. I still get whiffs after 18+ hours. Wonderful.

A woodier version of Ultra Male.

This is an extremely soft, delicate fragrance with little to no projection. The opening is a bit on the powdery side, but it settles into a pleasant, woody musk after a couple hours. It's so gentle that it's difficult to detect, but it's there if you search for it. There's also an overall warmth to it that I appreciate. I'll have to try applying quite a bit more next time to see if I can pick out more specific notes.

The citron note is absolutely amazing, but there is a metallic note to this similar to Ganymede. It then dries down to a metallic amber. It’s nice, but I’d have to try it in the heat to see how it stands up, because it’s pretty average on longevity with the cold.

Just got a bottle. Was great in the shop, but, hardly any fragrance after 30mins. They must have reformulated this to death, to a point where it's a waste of money. Update, I was wrong, it just made me nose blind, my family could smell me all over the house. And the liked it.

Minty, sweet Camphor bomb I agree with the comment below, there is a trace of hacivat due to camphor I guess but still sweeter & replaced pineapple with apple. If you layer 1 Layton with 1 hacivat, I believe you will end with this.

Boring, synthetic, no projection. Wayyy overpriced

I tried Resala, Kalemat, Arabian Knight, and Arabian knight silver. To me out of all, this is my favorite. It's ambery, fresh, and dark with hints of rose, cinnamon, and some sweetness from the jasmine. Now, I love the smell of roses. However, when I see the note of rose a fragrance I steer away. because most of the time, the fragrances I've tried with the note of rose just don't smell good to me. A quick example of this is Declaration D'un Soir by cartier. The rose note in here is so well blended with the amber, cinninamon, woods, and freshness it's absolutely magnificent. Easy to wear, beautiful, unique, and masculine. 18 years and above can absolutely use this fragrance. Now the downside. The store rep sprayed 3 on both of my arms(very kind of him) and my arms were wet(slightly sticky too). and even in 77 degrees Fahrenheit heat, the performance was alright. To conclude, The performance is either average or below average(First time testing it) The scent is not mind-blowing, but I love it, In my opinion, this is an Arabic take on a fragrance like Aventus(No similarities, just their take on the fresh, slightly sweet, and masculine scent). Very well done, unique, and beautiful. For $150 this is definitely a good price for a fragrance like this. But, I'm a bargain hunter. And, If I find a good deal, you know the trigger finger will snap on this one :).

I love it. Warm cozy spicy nice versatile fragrance that lasts super long. I don't get the Aventus notes, but fully agree with the similarities to Layton, especially in the dry down. I got Arabian Knight first and then blind bought Layton. After wearing Layton for the first time, I was almost disappointed by how similar it smelled to Arabian Knight in the dry down. Layton is a lot fruitier in the opening but after a while they both have this nice warm spicy scent that stays with you for many hours. Overall, very pleasing, easy to wear, warm scent for all occasions.

Absolutely outstanding, a blast of cinnamon and citrus in the face with amber and vanilla in the background, smells like gold to be fair. Sometime later the cinnamon scent will vanish and I smell lightly of amber, vanilla and jasmine. Performance is above average, the only problem however is sillage, just make sure to put a few more sprays closely to the area. I believe adding oud in there would make the frag much better. So glad I bought this in KSA for like 50 usd. 8.5/10

I have a bottle of this recommended for me in the oxford st store. I have been wearing it many times but I struggle write words about it....lemon flavoured creamy good longevity esp. on clothes....a friend said its good and better than arabian oud moody. I might return to this if I can add better words or utility; might be a better spring/summer whereas so far I only been using it in Jan/Feb. Its not like anything I have tried before not even close.

my experience with arabian oud perfumes is solid their perfumes are long lasting at most, but with my arabian knight perfume i was suprerised its soft and doesn't project and never last like the tester i tried at the shop , also i have noticed this perfume is made in kuwait not in KSA as usual. still i have bought it during reduced price offer and paid a 60 $ still i feel that i got scammed
