Arabian Legend Men

The blackberry and citrus combine to give Arabian Legend a tart blackberry marmalade scent with dark oud/woodsy undertones. This is a masculine scent and smells amazing! I get a lot of compliments while wearing this. Longevity on my skin was around 10 hours, and the sillage is huge. I find myself wearing this one quite often. A solid 9.5/10

I have a 14 years old bottle of this and it still smells great, projects like crazy and lasts for days on skin and clothes. I'm amazed at the quality of this composition. Still it's not an easy fragrance to wear because it will overpower any other smell in the room. So wear proudly and with caution.

LOve it !! Superb lasting and projection

Such an exquisite ultra manly primarily oud fragrance. It's like a white semi sweet special wood smell. A metaphor for me to describe it is as if all other oud fragrance was equivalent to chocolate then this would be white chocolate. Additionally, to quote a reviewers words describing a sort of similar fragrance(Tam Dao) because thats almost exactly how I feel about this fragrance, its "tranquil and meditative. smooth, soft, powdery woods. love to wear this to bed". Thay, without the soft part though because this one is pretty strong. And the funky part of this scent (I say that because most Ouds have some sort of funk to them) is almost like a clean bathroom smell. When I'm in the mood for some straight oud, my first choice is this over all other oud fragrances I own and definitely over all the many that I've smelled and tryed out that are still available in the market place. Overall, It's notes just marinate on my skin nicely.

One of the most expensive perfumes from Arabian Oud (250$), but I honestly do not understand why. It is obviously a very good scent, but as much as other perfumes by the same house that cost half. Probably it will be for the quality of the ingredients. Very very smoky, the notes that you feel most are definitely Oud, Saffron and general woody notes. I didn't get any citrus at all: just some blackberry that goes away after 15 minutes. Last days on the skin (for real guys, days). Blind buy it only if you love smoky woody oriental perfumes. This is good but I expected a lot more from one of the most expensive Arabian Oud perfumes. I wouldn't spend more that 120$ for a scent like this.

So, after weeks of contemplation, I got a few samples from this house to see what the buzz was all about. I ultimately compare everything against my favorite, Jubilation XV. Although this is a very solid offering, it fell just a tiny bit short of my expectations for this price point. I get the initial brief burst of the blackberries but then it fades into the background and the oud and musk take over. At that point, the scent remains linear the rest of the way. Projection and longevity are above average but I would find it difficult to use this on a daily basis as it's best for cooler evenings.

Strong potent masculine Oriental that works in spades for strong unafraid personalities. The perfume opens with a gourmand burst of blackberry, saffron and citrus before moving to a heart that is all Oud. Finally it dries down to a powdery base of sandalwood, musk, and cedar. Beautifully blended with enormous projection, sillage and very good longevity. This one is a train stopper, so those of you into subtleties please stay away. Enjoy!

I have mixed feelings about this one; it is the second expensive one I own from this house (cost me about $150) Very long lasting but silage is above average, not very sweet like its siblings from this house. Synthetic notes are dominant in this one, that's why I don't prefer it over other incense/pepper perfumes from this house like shahrayar. For me; Scent 5/10 Longevity 8/10 Performance 8/10 Originality 8/10 Price 5/10 Overall 6/10

This one was ok for me. For the price, Electimuss makes a very similar fragrance that's much better quality for the price. This reminds me a lot of Electimuss' Aquila Absolute. If I had to chose between the two, I would go with the Aquila Absolute. Regardless, it has that Arabian Oud quality and smell. Nice packaging, nice bottle, but will likely not purchase again.

Wore it today, and it was the first sunny day here in Egypt since December. It drew people’s attention from long distance; talking about 20 feet and more. Gives good vibes around me, but the smell is overwhelming in closed environment.

@realfrags Please tell us more about your experience, mine was made in 2017, and it is very strong & potent but I don’t like the smell as I feel it is too synthetic & cloying.

A delicate floral "white" musky scent glooming at first. Soft and sweet with a tamed oud baseline and a light lifting top note of citrus fruit that stays on. I think this one is pretty elegant and suitable for spring/fall. Solid projection with a nice sillage when you enter or leave a room. Lasts for hours on my wrists. This is a different approach compared to "usual" rose, lime or leather oud blends for men I have tried throughout the years. With its original shape and sophisticated allure, this bottle gives the impression you need to dress up a little if you feel like smelling Arabian Legend. Could be unisex, not especially masculine since I find it pretty sweet, almost powdery.

Well.....I am a fan of Arabian Oud. Jood is devine. I got this on auction on Ebay...used at the bargain price of $71. This perfume is well worth the $200 they are asking for. Very sophisticated and elegant. Incredible...for nights and the boardroom. The fruit-floral-citrus works well with the woody tones...the combination is nice at first whiff. Beautiful packaging as well. I will be interested to try it on and see how the dry down is. 2 Thumbs up.

A sweet rosey blackberry tart opening with some sweet sour tangy grapefruit touch which descends down into an incensy oud I suspect use of sweet myrrh. Wood of cedar and just a hint of sandal is apparent in the drydown. Superb sillage. Need to be careful with the no. of sprays. 10 to 12 hrs longevity. Maybe more in cold climate. Formal scent almost boss like presence. Unique smell and rich experience. Nothing is blindbuy worthy. Try sample first.

@alfrued I edited my review (right below your comment). So I find it not very strong in concentration or character (it's a soft, silky smooth kind of scent, not bad, not great) and it does last, after all, as a skin scent a good 10 hours or so. I suppose that - if you like this sort of thing- it's ok...

I wonder, who is making these 'lasts 24 hours' and 'strong as f' comments. Are they working for Arabian Oud, by any chance? Edit: OK the longevity is good. Very soft to my nose and silky. Somewhat synthetic, yes, and a little reminiscent of oud qadim... OK if you like that sort of scent.

Ordered with extreme expectation and am sincerely overjoyed at the spectacular scent of Arabian Legend. Lovely fruity and spicey surely to be my signature scent. The presentation case is exquisitely classy and the bottle fascinating.
