Different

I always get the full experience from Arabian oud perfumes after letting them macerate for a few months. Right out of the box, I can tell that this one will perform beastly after maceration process, I got nose blind after 5 minutes while ppl around me appreciated the smell after a couple of hours. Will diffidently do a full review next spring 😊 Edit: the bottle cap is a nice toy, my son gave me that look while I was opening it so I let him use it as a fidget button for a little while 😂

It's just amazingly different and fresh, was on my way to the perfume store to pick some fresh fragrances , tried that and surprisingly dropped all what i was on my way to pick and picked this and the longevity and sillage are top class!

CLEAN LAVENDER- This is exactly how a clean high quality lavender should smell. It's mixed with cardamom but not a cardamom forward scent. Lavender is the star of the show and it's mixed with cardamom which gives it an aromatic touch. It's perfect for office and day to day use. It's that kind of a scent which you think has got weak projection but I got a lot of compliments from my colleagues even after I stopped smelling it. It's in the air gently floating around. Longevity on my skin is max 6 hours but on cloths 8 hours. Sillage - variable around 2-3 hours. I would say it's a safe blind buy.

It's the Ysl Y edt scent (lavender bomb) profile with ok performance. It's less focused on the amberwoods, making it less likely to give you a headache. Better ingredients. Lasts 3-4 hours tops. I ended up returning it, pass.

Smells good but too strong imo, bought 2024 summer from Arabian Oud store. If you enjoy beastly scents and like this scent profile try it out. Aromatic, lavender, woody. YSL Y is more blended smoothly for mass appeal (you can barely discern notes) and more shower gel, while this is less complex and more straightforward aromatic lavender. (They are not close people are just making a connection between them).
