Musk Tahara

I'm writing this for the Musk al Tahara made by Surrati as its not in the data base. If Surrati gets added I will move this review. I adore this musk it's my favorite musk ever. Surrati particularly because they make one in a roll on which has a more animalic musk with a lighter floral background. The musk that comes from the big metal bottle smells totally different. You can still tell its Tahara but the floral aspect is incredible its so fresh but not soapy at all. Its like being in a garden. The musk is sweet but not too sweet its perfect if you ask me. Both have a thick lotion like consistency. Its super dense and goes on thick and it lasts and lasts on the skin. The roll on one is long lasting but not as strong. The bottle is the best IMO. Either way if you're a fan of white musks this is one to own. Recommended.

I have this perfume oil but in a coral pink bottle that has the same gold embellishments as the one in the picture. I believe it's called Strawberry Musk Al Tahara. When I wear this I feel so elegant. It smells bubblegumy floral, jammy and musky. It's seriously soooo good :) I save it for special occasions since the container is small. It's genuinely one of the prettiest perfumes I've ever owned or had the pleasure of smelling. I'm sure the white one and the others smell amazing too!

Smells very yummy. I enjoy this scent. It is clean, comforting, and also quite sexy. In my humble opinion, the three Arabian musk scents are all quite good: Asala Al Musk EdP by Arabian Oud Tahara Musk oil by Arabian Oud Misk Al'jism (body musk) by Abdul Samad Al Qurashi. If I must pick a favorite, I would say the Tahara musk.. it is less strong than the other two, but lingers, and perhaps with slightly more woody, and to me, sexier notes.

Musk AlTahara means the musk of cleanliness. This is a thick whitish very clear smelling musk. it sits very closely to the skin with almost no sillage but lasts for days and days. I can even smell this on myself after showering. I was advised by the lovely SA at Arabian Wood to use it as a deodorant and have been doing so for almost two years now. This stuff works even in the hottest day and for the longest period of time.

This is the best musk.. Really best smelling musk.. So clean and pure and fresh. Just like you step out of the shower. It's said that this is an intimate scent.. But not in a sexy way.. But it's on the pure love kinda scent.. Lovely.. Never smell musk this good

Copied and pasted: The word "Tahara" means "to be cleansed of defilement," and that musk is strongly recommended for this ritual that is specific to women. Fresh, sweet, with a very pleasant smell. If you have had coconut oil, you will know that it is solid white in the jar and takes some time to warm up in the palm of your hands. In the summertime the jar of coconut oil is completely transparent... That is exactly how it is with this oil, it is so thick and the consistency of the oil changes throughout the year. At least it does for me where I live. It smells wonderful, for me, it is pleasantly sweet, clean but not soapy or anything similar to the fabric softener smell on my own skin. The oil melds into my skin and leaves a delicate, clean, fresh, warm, comforting smell on the skin, I like to wear it to class and know that it will not bother anyone. When you are out and you walk by someone and you think to yourself "hey, that person smells soo amazing", I guarantee that when you wear this oil, people will think this very thing about you. I buy 6ml of this oil on a consistent basis. Sure the batch could be different with some purchases but it smells soooo wonderful.

Oh gosh yes - better than ASAQ body musk in terms of potency and quality. More affordable types are available but the scent is lower in quality. But this one is a good one - Musk Abiyad (Afnan) Lasts very long on the skin with close to the skin sillage.

@fawngirl look for Tahara strawberry musks on Etsy and that might help you find one you like! They usually come in similar if not the same bottles :)
