I recognized it was time to replace one of my signature vanilla-floral-woody-scent, Gold Couture by Juicy Couture with a more mature one. When I was in Dubai, I went searching for an Arabian fragrance and came across this magic in a bottle. It has the elegance of Arabian perfumes but is not too intimidating because the agarwood is soft yet easily detectable. It's cozy, sweet, and extremely alluring, especially for women. It has all my favorite accords in perfume and more. I have been looking for a fragrance with vanilla, musk, and floral accords in Western perfumes but found none as rich and unique smelling as Rosewood. Gold Couture is still special to me, and I will still be wearing it during the day, but I am so happy to have found this! It's addictiveness, silage, and longevity were worth the price. As someone else also mentioned, Arabian Oud deserves more popularity but I’m glad it's a niche so I can gatekeep this scent.

Super underrated Arab house — my first ever niche frag. I would describe this as a soft oud with heavier rose and vanilla notes. Crowd pleaser and beast performer. I get the most compliments whenever I wear this frag with other frags (mostly designer) and people tell me they can smell me the moment I step into a room. I would describe my philosophy as Tom Ford-style overspraying with super strong Middle East frags (15 sprays, thereabouts), and this doesn't get cloying because of how balanced it is. I've layered it with so many frags, but the one that got the most attention was with Replica By The Fireplace (smokey, sweet, and a lil gourmand). Ride or die but I hope this doesn't get popular as I wanna gatekeep it for how good it is

This is one of the top unique fragrances in my small collection starting from the scent to the great performance and the ultra chic packaging as well It’s slightly overwhelming but I absolutely love it.. you can smell clearly every note in this perfume and the best thing ever is that the woody notes (oud) are subtle and in the background but still noticeable.. the most dominant is rose and vanilla.. it’s definately a gourmand scent and not for every day and preferably in winter because it’s on the heavy side for sure.. I initially bought it as a gift for my husband but I ended up using it on myself because he thought it’s too feminine for his taste and actually he’s quite right

This one's quite lovely and can make a great signature scent. Unlike many of the bold, daring oud fragrances out there, the oud in Rosewood is quite mild and not too dominant. It blends perfectly with the vanilla and rose (dominant notes) for sure. I always recommend this scent for first-time oud wearers. I love how this scent has that Middle Eastern oriental touch, yet is likable to everyone. It can literally be used in any situation. It's an easy compliment getter. Not to mention, it lasts for ages, probably the longest lasting fragrance in my collection. That being said, it's a solid 'like' for me. EDIT: Rosewood has a resemblance to Intense Cafe by Montale

IYKYK ROSEWOOD (RW) is and forever will be an OG. A true classic. Now, my 2 cents - it's even better as a layer. Add RW any stronger Oud (as light as RW is, it still has oud in it), and it will calm it down, blend, and actually boost the longevity - try it. If you ever wanted to add a small touch of rose and a small touch of oud to another fragrance you have - this is literally - the best fragrance to layer with. On it's own: Scent: 9 Quality: 9.5 Projection: 9 Sillage: 9 Longevity: 9 As a layer, with the right partner(s): 10 Worth buying: 10

Finally, here you are Rosewood!! A wonderful mix between vanilla and rose with a hint of oud at the background, it surprisingly reminds me of Turkish sweet lokum, I consider this scent a super gourmand complex scent! It's more on the heavy side, and I find it so similar to Intense cafe by Montale, for me, they share the same gourmand jammy rose vibe!! I find it perfectly unisex, yes it has sweetness but it's the kind of sweetness that men would enjoy! A perfect winter vanilla gourmand scent 8.5/10.

Wow! What an attention getter. I get compliments all day while wearing this gem I picked up at the Arabian Oud store while vacationing in NYC. Expensive, but I couldn't resist. A very sexy, well rounded unisex scent. Arabian Oud doesn't get the notoriety it deserves. This stuff is FABULOUS. The quality of the oud, rose and vanilla are unmatched by others. The projection is enormous and I swear its staying power is ridiculous. The scent remains until you bathe.

One of the most sexiest vanilla rose based perfume a man can wear. This is a compliment machine. I layer it with Bin sheikh and found almost 20 complement in just 3days. The girls love this scent on a man I can assure you that. Just dont think too much buy it asap. I will suggest to get older batch or 50ml bottle. I own an old 50ml batch it's more mature and beautiful than the recent 100ml purchase i made 10/10 - scent profile 8/10 - longevity

Just gorgeous. Wanted something like this but cheaper, in the end decided to try a quality house, not disappointed. Loving rose and vanilla, I tried the Mancera one years ago and it was one of the few fragrances that was too sweet for me. I have the sample and every so often I try it again to confirm it is just cloying to my nose. This is what I wanted out of that one. It's balanced. Strong but not loud. Rich, satisfying, pretty, comforting.

I spray this on my right hand and LV Ombre Nomade on the other. This is basically more sweeter,less spicy and less darker. Quality-wise Ombre Nomade probably a bit better with a more dominating oud scent but factor in the price and value, this is definately the winner. At a quarter of the price of LV Ombre Nomade, you'll get a high quality rose-oud fragrance and this is probably my favourite sweet vanilla-rose-oud fragrance right now. 9.4/10

I never expected to like rosewood. In my ignorance I shelved it as a masculine fragrance after looking at the bottle. Oh but have I been surprised into silence. Rosewood is unisex, leaning feminine to me. The most darling honeyed rose you could dream about (this rose has similarities with roses vanille and intense café), sandalwood and smooth, buttery vanilla. I adore this from the opening to the dry down. A huge love for the books.

Rosewood is an absolutely stunner! It's reminiscent of MFK Oud Satin Mood, but it's the vanilla takes the center stage here. The oud is there, but it's so well blended it's barely detectable. It has beastmode projection so I suggest to go a little easy on the trigger (no more than 3 sprays). Longevity is easily 12hrs+. Sillage is about 3ft. This is an easy complement getter that's made perfectly for those colder nights! Buy this!!

My best and favourite winter scent💗⛸☕ so so sweet and warm🤎 it is truly like being in a coffee shop eating vanilla iced cupcakes...but you're at home😭 Too beautiful and loud to be sitting around. It's my most worn perfume right now!! With every season my favourite perfume changes according to the season but if you're into roses and vanilla anddd oud, BOOM! Also smells very similar to Montale intense café, minus the coffee xD 😍

Excellent rose/vanilla/Oud combination. The vanilla note is like powdered sugar. It’s very similar to Delina Exclusif after the opening. Also similar to Xerjoff K’bridge, Montale Intense cafe, Tiziana Terenzi Delox, minus the coffee note, and Mancera Roses Vanille. Ajmal Rose Wood is an intentional dupe of this and not quite as refined as this. The lasts forever and projects nicely. I really enjoy smelling this all day long!

The more I wear this fragrance, it's becoming one of my favorites. The rose is really nice, deep, rich and tart. It radiates subtly throughout the wearing. It settles to a pleasant vanilla-rose. This fragrance is very masculine to me so I'm surprised at the overwhelming unisex rating. And as I mentioned in a previous post, it can be layered with Intio Side Effect beautifully. So glad I finally purchased a full bottle.

This is a Masterpiece of how well rose and vanilla are blended. This is one of those fragrances that make men stand out from all others in a room. The way the rose wafts together with the oud, and then gently places the vanilla right on top of it all makes this one of my favorites scents from this house. Projecting more in cold weather, warming up your senses for a sexy cuddly poignant statement.

Best rose oud combination I’ve smelt. The scent profile to me surpasses any rose oud combination from the European houses. I’m a huge fan of powdery notes in perfume and the fact that this one blends so perfectly with the rose and oud just blows my mind. I would say it’s pretty expensive but considering the fact that it’s cheaper than most niche houses I think it’s a steal. 10/10 for sure

Oh man this is such an addictive fragrance. The rose & vanilla combination is so good, mood enriching and fabulous mood uplifter. After a tiring day I have just sprayed once on my wrist just to bubble myself in this scent! Such a beautiful creation. Best part the name Rosewood is perfect! If you ever owned a Rosewood furniture, you will know what I am talking about.

Yes, it goes with the same range of DNAs as intense cafe, rose vanille and oud bouquet but this one managed to be so yummy and potent yet airy. I smell some chocolate although it isn't mentioned in the notes. It's creamy and sweet but not cloying. So cozy, so sweet, soooo freakin good. Scent : 9.5/10 Sillage and projection : 10/10 Longevity : 10/10

GATEKEEP THIS AT ALL COSTS!!!!! This is a vanilla-rose-oud combination that comes across slightly gourmand. The vanilla rose combo does give a slight honey feel. Definitely pulls compliments, sadly dosent last too long on my skin. Turns into a skin scent after 2.5-3 hours and fades away at 7 hours. Beautiful scent. Probably going to get.
