Solid Black

This one really shocked me but in a very pleasant way. It really is an high end fragrance with many layers from citrusy bergamot to amber and much more. I love the bottle too but i would say it is more a young mans frag rather than one such at 58. I di wear it though and get lot of compliments. Projection is huge and it lasts for hours, even after hand washing. I highly recommend this but especially to those of 20-35 age. It’s starting to become a but more seen where i go out. It’s all subjective so i can only say as of see. I would have paid much more

When you test this fragrance, give it time to open up and dry down. Orange blossom dominant just like solid, however juicy peach, subtly sweet praline and the softest hints of sandalwood come in to make all the difference. When this fragrance opened up, I only just liked it, but as it dried down, my nose found that the combination of ripe, juicy peach and orange blossom could hit all of the right buttons in a memorable way that made me question if it could be love. A strong like for the books.

The scent is not at all what I expected from the bottle design and name, but I am not complaining. The scent is like a beautiful, fruity, slightly floral and STRONG fabric softener. If I had to compare the scent it would be to Erba Pura and Kirke - but this has more depth and is slightly more masculine.

The clue's in the name. Solid! A solid scent with solid performance. It's sweet, cozy, and inviting. Such a beautiful concoction.

Very sweet opening that with time becomes a beautiful vanilla musk. I like wearing it with other fragrances as it can be light.

Smells EXACTLY like a barbershop...a black one. Lol

Smooth, unisex gourmand / peachy scent profile. Folks who like SBOY or Tom Ford Black Orchid’s kind of profile and sweeter perfumes will probably enjoy it more. Unisex, with a feminine lean; evening / party / club wear. More suitable for younger crowd (below 30 years). Looking at the packaging, I was expecting something more masculine and with tobacco accords. Above average performance. Shukran Habibi!

The peach from the opening into the mid came off a little air freshener-like as opposed to something like Kajal Homme II which blended better with the composition. Into the mid and the drydown is when the praline and vanilla came in to balance out the scent. Like many Arabian Oud scents, this was average to below as far as projection and sillage but lasted 8-10 hours and was still on my clothes the next day. I got three full wearings (and several tests on the arms) in and decided this was not for me. I mostly get peach, white florals, praline/vanilla, and sandalwood once it's all settled about an hour in. It then slowly fades into a sweet ambery vanilla/slight praline scent around the 6-7 hour mark and stays that way until it's gone. Even though this is marketed to men, I think it leans very feminine due to the peach and white florals. If I was to own something in the sweet category from this house I would spend a few more dollars and go with Aseel Special Edition. I am very hit or miss with this house but I will continue to sample.
