Sultani Amberwood

This is a really wonderful release. I am not entirely sure why it is called Sultani, as to my nose it shares no resemblance to the original Sultani whatsoever. That said, when judged on its own, this fragrance is beautifully composed. The blend of caramel and rose is the standout. The opening feels refreshing thanks to the mandarin, and the amber in the base wraps everything together effortlessly. It is warm, smooth, and very well balanced. I highly recommend trying this one for yourself if possible. You will often see it compared to BR540 or Mancera Instant Crush, and while there are some similarities, Sultani Amberwood clearly stands on its own and separates itself from both. I initially ignored it because of those comparisons, and that was a mistake. This works extremely well as an all around fall and winter fragrance. I have worn it to the office, formal events, and during regular daily activities excluding the gym, and it felt appropriate in every situation. My advice is to wait for a sale before purchasing a full bottle. Arabian Oud frequently runs fifty percent off promotions throughout the year, and at that price this fragrance becomes an excellent value for the quality you are getting.

What a beautiful scent. It is multifaceted and not linear in the least. Smells like baccarat rouge with fresh orangey citrus notes that transforms into a clean citrus/Turkish rose combo and in the drydown sits like an airier version of its big brother sultani, a scents that smells like opulent dubai dryer sheets. Longevity will not disappoint and I received a compliment the same day of wearing this by two strangers. This can be casual or dressed up and can honestly be worn year round IF you go easy on the trigger on a hot summer day. I may balk at someone rocking this in high heat and humidity...but wear the scent. Don't let it wear you. Id recommend this to anyone that's trying to class it up, get compliments and be bold without shouting. Got it on the 95th National Day sale in Saudi Arabia. I paid about $200 USD for two 100ml bottles (buy 1, get 1 free). I have a decant of this and it’s way too similar to Instant Crush. I was hoping for a more unique DNA. It’s nice but not original.

A misleading name, zero relation to the OG Sultani. Not a flanker. I consider it as a failure of the Marketing Team in Arabian Oud, or a solo decision by the Owner. They want to use the fame of the OG Sultani to promote this new irrelevant perfume. I believe this could cause disappointment to people who know the OG Sultani and buy it (especially online) thinking it is a flanker. HOWEVER, A high-quality perfume for sweet amber lovers (I am not one of them).

I was given a paper of this in store, and it's pretty boring. It's strong, well blended, and mass appealing, but this sweet floral amber DNA is found everywhere. It's fine though and you'd go noseblind to it, but I'm sure performance on this is pretty good. Can't believe they stopped carrying Al Fareed in favor of stuff like this in the USA. Customer tastes I guess.

ill just say yes this share the same dna as baccarat/ instan crush but its just 50-60%%, the opening is the best part, you get that uplifting citrus followed up with that instant crush dna, the drydown you will get the og sultani musky vibe. the blending is top notch from arabian oud, performance is beast

I haven't smelled this yet but I'm wondering why it seems that they made a flanker of something as good and original as Sultani, comparable to BR540 and Instant Crush??? Makes no sense... I can only hope those votes come from people with broken noses

Not sure why there's a "Sultani" in the name because it has nothing in common with the OG, not even a flanker. It's a good scent on its own
