Tarteel Silver

On my skin, Tarteel Silver is a semi-gourmand pear-vanilla-jasmine cloud that feels smooth, polished and quietly luxurious. The opening is all about a rich, cooked pear – more like poached, caramelised pear tart than fizzy candy – laid over luminous white florals. As it settles, a creamy vanilla–jasmine heart blooms, with soft musks and a gentle amber/woody base giving it depth and elegance without any harsh edges or cheap, screechy sweetness. It stays refined, never tacky or plasticky, just a silky fruity-floral wrap with a gourmand twist. Projection is moderate-to-strong for the first few hours before it relaxes into a soft, radiant aura, and I get around 6–8 hours on skin with traces hanging around on clothes for days. I just took delivery of a bottle of this perfume and can't believe how weak it is. Like it is completely gone from skin and paper after 30 minutes. I'm very disappointed. I checked the pack and the production date is February 2024 with batch number BN05624. I am going to leave it to macerate for a few months and hope that it improves in performance. It would be a real shame if this is a new, watered down formulation that is now being put out in the market after all the glowing reviews. Update: I recently brought this out after letting it macerate for about 7 months and my God, it is divine! The most beautiful vanilla ever. Not gourmand, very grown up, unisex to very slightly feminine, soft - woody and warm. It lasts at least 5 hours on my skin (and that is saying much as my skin eats up scents) and more than 24 hours on clothes. I'm so happy that I kept this.

Actual notes according to Arabian Oud's website: (https://arabianoud-usa.com/product/tarteel-silver/) Top Notes : Peach (not pear), Bergamot. Heart Notes: Jasmine, Lotus, Cedarwood. Base Notes: Vanilla, Sandalwood, Amber, Musk. Peach sounds like an odd note for a fragrance like this but this actually smells great. For myself, the vanilla and amber stand out the most with some light floral around the edges. On my skin, this easily lasts over 12 hours and can fill a room if over-sprayed. I tend to only use two sprays when wearing this. Tarteel Silver can be easily worn by either men or women. Although it is a potent Arabic fragrance, Tarteel Silver can be worn year-round but really shines during Autumn. Potent, smells great, and a lasts a very long time. 10/10 - A great fragrance to own!

This fragrance is severly underrated. This is an almost perfect alternative to YSL Tuxedo but with more bang for your buck. The performance and projection are both on beast-mode levels. Lasts on me for about 10 to 12 hours. I've gotten compliments after the end of an 8 hour work day. This is actually easier to find than Tuxedo. I got lucky and found Tuxedo in Doha at the Duty Free as a blind buy because of the great reviews and ratings I saw while researching it . I love the YSL house so I took the chance. I was quite pleased but it instantly reminded me of Tarteel Silver. Overall, it's worth every penny and there aren't many fragrances out there besides Tuxedo that are similar to it. With all Arabian Oud fragrances, expect top notch packaging and presentation as well.

Such a beautiful twist on benz club black. This smells more like benz club black then PDM althair.. the projection and sillage on this is impressive too, and the presentation is gorgeous. It comes in one of the most beautiful display boxes I have in my whole collection. The box display is literally something you put up by itself, it comes with this wooden plate under it and you just leave the bottle in the box. Pretty bummed out it’s only 75ML as I am an oversprayer.. anyways this smells Beautiful and if you love Benz club black, you’ll like this also. It smells like middle school eastern take on that fragrance with amped up performance.

For a frag with no oud note it’s crazy how the musk and wood in this translate as oud on my skin! I absolutely love this fragrance. It’s so well-balanced and perfectly unisex to me. The vanilla is in perfect proportion to the wood, the fruit notes keep it from becoming too heavy and the florals keep it from being too dense. It’s certainly a middle eastern style fragrance, with projection and longevity to match. This is a scent that’s so interesting that it took me several instances of wearing it before deciding that I was absolutely obsessed with it.

To the reviews bellow, my bottle lasts for weeks on clothes and slightly over 18 hours on skin, macerate your fragrance for a bit before using, i was lucky that mine was that good straight out of the box with no difference to the tester, but you'll need some time to macerate especially if it's a 2024 batch, sometimes they need to put out a lot of fragrances because of high demand, arabian oud fragrances are monster performers so if that was not your experience your bottle may be bad or needs maceration.

Great stuff, one of the best I own. Very close to MB Club Black, with the difference that it has a bit better longevity and projection, which is big, since MB is a great performer already. It is also less linear than MBCB, it has some development over time, and it is a bit more complex: it has incorporated a somewhat old school masculine woody/spicy note(probably the cedar/woody note they listed here) along with the familiar vanilla from MBCB(the vanilla scent is absolutely the same for both perfumes).

Arabian Oud Tarteel Silver is, hands down, the best vanilla fragrance I’ve ever smelled. Its rich, sultry blend opens with a vibrant burst of bergamot and pear, quickly settling into a warm, intoxicating heart of vanilla and musk. The jasmine and lotus add a delicate floral touch, while the sandalwood and cedar base grounds it with a luxurious depth. This scent is elegant, and utterly addictive, It’s a cozy, gourmand masterpiece that outshines every other vanilla fragrance I’ve tried.

This is an amazing perfume that fills the room and stays on the entire day! Vanilla, amber and a floral/jasmine note is what I get most. Although the Arabian Oud site lists peach, not pear, it may transpire as pear to some, myself including. It’s very potent, but on me it smells feminine- can’t see a guy pulling this off. If I were to describe it in one word, it would be Intoxicating! I love it! Can’t believe it’s not popular as this is a gem - luxurious, heavy, will turn heads!

This is one of my top 3 fragrances. I’ve been collecting since 5th grade (1998) and I have everything from Joop & CK One all the way to Baccarat & Aventus. Arabian Oud seems to have some fragrances that seem to be close to others but AO’s fragrances last longer and project waaaaay better. Anyone who’s really into fragrances should check them out , if you stop by a store - spray a few samples And give them a few mins to dry. I’m so glad they’re opening more stores in US.

Update to my previous post. I blind bought MB Club Black and finally connected the dots. This is its bigger bolder beast mode sibling. Tarteel has a faint Oud note compared to MB but I’m glad I found it so I can use this instead of running thru my Tarteel bottle. If you’re looking for a beautiful soft vanilla frag that fills the room- Tarteel is it. Out of my 100+ bottles- this is the only one where even guys come up and ask what I’m wearing.

I love the smell of vanilla. But as a man in my 40s, I don't want to smell like sweet cookies. This fragrance provides the perfect balance, allowing me to enjoy seductive smell of vanilla without it being too sweet. I get lots of compliments with this, especially during cool evenings. Proceed at your own risk.

I like the fragrance, I haven't found any issue with it with projection but it comes with a bit of an alcohol hit in the beginning. After a few min it dies off and is Great for the next 6-8 hour proceeding. This is the opinion on my skin and everyone is different. Go Smell Good

This is the undisputed vanilla king. It is almost identical to club black, but this one has a slight middle eastern touch to my nose. This is my #1 vanilla in my collection even over Guerlain SDV. Arabian Oud is undoubtedly one of the best entry level middle eastern houses.

I am not sure why no one speaks about that fragrance, because it is amazing woody vanilla scent, with projection and performance "no joke".

This perfume is my little hidden secret. It baffles me how come this juice is not as popular as it should be. I give it 10/10 all round.

I think other people must smell something way different than I do here. Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoy this fragrance. I purchased it after working through my sample. I wouldn’t even put this in the same category as Dama Bianca and Gold from Commodity. Tarteel Silver is a dirty vanilla to me, and I even pick up a note of metal patina. Leans masculine to me but more safely unisex than anything else. This is no wear near as delicate as the fragrances it is compared to. Tarteel Gold, on the other hand, that’s much more delicate and feminine leaning.

My favorite of the current frags out there that feature this particular vanilla profile. This is very similar to Club Black, Althair, and Ani, among others. Tarteel has a sweet brightness to it that I didn't find in Althair or Club Black, which i attribute to citrus and white floral. And the cedar along the mid and base intertwine nicely with the smoky vanilla to create an incredibly high quality and mass appealing overall fragrance. Highly recommend if you can snag this on the grey market.

First spray is pure cotton candy, then it develops more woodiness and a touch of sweet amber. Let’s see what a little time on the bottle does.

One of the best vanilla perfumes out there. It's simplistic but GOOD. Great for layering.

So low-key, that it's incredible that nobody but a few knows of this fragrance's existence. Literally in the top 3 of best vanillas I've EVER smelled. I get the MB Club Black, but the performance on that is complete trash compared to this beast. TO BE HONEST, I can see Lataffa, Maison Alharmba and/or its sibling houses going out to make their own interpretation..then it will be GG. Notes on here are wrong in typical fragrantica fashion, so I highly recommend to also read @Vmaster review to capture the essence of this fragrance.

Smells very similar to Mercedes club black in air(different on skin if you smell them upclose) but fresher and higher quality. They were both released in the same year but which one was released first is still a question.

So many people saying this is very close or identical to club black? Thank you for saving my money. Bought and sold a club black because I found it extremely weak. Smelled pleasant enough but way to weak for my taste.

I agree with @fortune1 - this seems weak. My bottle is dated 7.2024. I’m going to let it sit a couple of months and come back to it. This seems so light to me.

Mine doesn’t project too much or perform that well, the smell is beautiful. It’s only been a couple of days, maybe it’ll get better as it macerates.

This is 98% Mercedes benz, i don't know who copied who first but this smells more natural with better performance.

Bought a decant. Juice is light pink and weak AF! Is the green juice as week as this one?

To my nose, it shares the same DNA as Nishane ANI. I own both, so selling ANI.

This is a beautiful scent however is very weak to my nose.
