Woody Intense

I came across this juice and was drawn to the main note of oud a VERY rich aroma. This juice also has an attractive rose note which complements doesn't take over oud...instead it gives way allowing the oud/spicy blend with patchouli/musk a soft creamy vib. I don't find this fragrance anywhere near synthetic, instead a lot more high quality fragrance. The rose note continues to float within the layers of complex blend. Longevity is very high..if I layer it 2x I can still smell this nieche quality fragrance after 6hrs. Silage is also high, I had someone come over to ask me what cologne I was wearing. Overall, I'm glad that I bought a bottle of 200ml, very reasonable priced considering the value of this underrated juice. It's not over bearing, rather a spicy /woodsy blend with a hint of sweet creamy undertone from saffron. You know what this juice reminds me of....if you ever have chance go into a middle eastern bakery. The aroma saffron and oud is what this juice smells like of every time I wear this fragrance. In all I definitely give this juice two thumbs up...7/10

Woody Intense opens with a beautiful Taif rose - oud combination. It starts medicinal and strong balancing the penetrating bitter-dry characteristic aroma of the Taif variation. After a few minutes a balmy smoky sensation gently makes its appearance coupled with light insence and many hidden spices, all added with great elegance. At drydown, Woody Intense starts to morph as the Taif rose discreetly recedes to give way to a sensual floral, musky, earthy aura that softly envelops the wearer, backed by well hidden aromatic nuances of aged wood, amber and patchouli. And then comes the far drydown. Woody Intense may now be detectable only if one's nose comes in direct contact with skin or fabric, but the scent is simply amazing. Ambery warmth with residual spices intertwined with gleams of rose and sweet woods. Discreetly magnificent. 8/10

This fragrance should be called a 1001 night as it transcends the time and in an instant transports you to the Arabian gulf, spice market where all the traditional scents blend; oud, spices, leather, musk, saffron... It's very traditional, strong, well composed and balanced... Passion, tradition, drama, and warmth of the desert all mixed in a bottle. One of my favorite fragrances of all time. It's the same as their best seller Woody but more oud and spice in the blend hence longer lasting... For extra sex appeal can be layered with oud oil... Wow smelling. Sure to attract compliments..

A very fine blend of woody oriental notes, pure middle eastern style. Opening is woody, oriental and sweet. Love it. No hint of oud in the opening for me. Lasting power is good but projection is underwhelming. It may improve in Winters. I have worn in high heat. After 10-15 sprays (sorry for that) the scent changes in middle stages. There is some tart oudy note in the base. Which is absent if you restrict to 4-5 sprays. Overall i love the smell and i want to project it more. 8/10 (2 marks deducted for less projection only)

I bought it on a Dubai trip. Very nice package, very smooth oud/rose, less woody than expected. Oriental elegance and classy. This is perfect unisex combination, because is not dry at all. Great performance. Unfortunately being italian, difficult to find in Europe. Recommended 4/5

I agree on all the below comments, indeed it's one of the best & long lasting Oud perfumes I have used/tested so far. Go easy on the trigger & don't over apply as it has the tendency to offend non-oud lovers with its monster sillage & longevity. I rate it overall 10/10

Artificial Intelligence... If you are going to release a fragrance with a high percentage of synthetic materials, it's reasonable to expect the following: - Reasonable price - Very good performance - Smells good - Do not copy Well, here you have them all. This has the power of the Universe, has a really reasonable price/ml, and smells really good and different. Very well done Arabian Oud. I was last spring in one of the Arabian Oud shops in Paris, for a little sniffing session. This is a hard-core experience. I needed to go out of the shop twice to reset my nose and brain. After smelling some of their offerings for a while, your nose-trills burnt, your brain throbs, your eyes burst into tears, and your tongue gets dumb and feezy... you can feel something at the back of your throat, like being in the middle of a sulfur field... Among all that I was brave enough to test, this one was my favorite. It is is big, mainly dense thick woods with an airy but pungent bitter rose and some saffron at the back. Linear, potent, with a clear middle eastern vibe, unisex and really good smelling. This will get noticed and people would react in a positive way unless you are in the middle of the summer in an indoor situation... that would be perfume terrorism... Uniqueness: medium-high Scent: 7/10 Performance: High Would I buy it: Yes (already in my collection)

#1027 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This stuff should carry a warning label. The projection is insane. My first thought was, "Wow, this is a great scent." My second thought was, "Maybe I should open a window?" Projection is room filling. You would never wear this in a car pool, on an elevator or it a small office unless you want people to get out and walk, take the stairs, leave the room. Gave me a headache right off. I was tempted to wash it off, but I took some aspirin and left it on as I wanted to see what kind of endurance this has. It was much more tolerable in an hour, but I applied this yesterday at 9AM and it was still hanging on when I showered before bed last night. I don't know about getting a full bottle of this one. Not sure when I'd wear it. But I really like the smell, and it's -6C outside so it's the right time of year to be wearing this.

This version it's good but not really because in the opening and in the middle notes there are a lot of spices and sharp roses scent such as ( Turkish rose ) but the fragrance is good if you give it a chance for few minutes you will gonna smell the perfect ingredients of ( oud with patchouli and musk )

Citrusy rose n oud, very nice scent. Performance is not good. Opens up with loud projection for first few minutes and after that it starts coming close to skin. Moderate projection for 45 minutes then it's a skin scent. Longevity is 5-6 hours max. Doesn't even last on clothes.

This fragrance was my introduction to this house and I've been in love ever since. This fragrance has a prominent rosemary, cardamom and a bit or caramel opening. The amber and musk are more noticeable on the dry down and it is delightful.

A smooth and honeyed amber, cardamom, clean patchouli and musk. Yes it's not something unique when you smell it, but it's a great masculine crowd pleasing fragrance. A moderate like for the books.

best atomiser I've ever seen but a slightly unpleasant strongly animalic scent

It starts off with just a hint of Oudy cheesy funk that disappears quickly into a beautiful very fresh pink rose accord. The oud smells like some exotic cream from a bakery and it melds really smoothly with the fresh pink rose smell. This scent projects a lovely cloud of uplifting oudy creamy pink rose which surrounds you in a halo of loveliness. Within this cloud is saffron and soft spices with musk and it is very beguiling. I just love it's freshness and the way it projects off you. The crying shame though is after three hours of the scent smelling and performing gloriously on your skin it drops off dramatically. The scent turns into a thin white musk scent that just stays close to you. Though it was great while it lasted.

By this time, I have a nice collection of various types of Oud based perfume. Each time I get a new fragrance, first impression is ALWAYS negative. But after a day or two of spritzing......something magical happens.....you start to like the smell....it becomes comforting and sexy. Woody Intense on first impression came out as a rose petal based perfume...but then the magic happened. From the house of Arabian Oud, my oud based collection includes Jood (masculine, woodsy, and dry), Arabian Legend (floral musk with a beautiful oud drydown), and now Woody Intense (rose and musk). Of the 3, Woody Intense is the most sexy-delicious in it's delivery. BUY IT........you will not be disappointed.

Sooo nice. I don't know what is up with the notes pyramid above though, it doesn't seem accurate to me. Cardamom and geranium are there for me but I don't get any heliotrope, which is such a distinct aroma. There's a spicy, woody, leathery feel to this as well which seems odd considering it has no such notes listed. Musk is there but a very specific one, deep in character. I do think I smell oud in here but a smoother one, just a tiny bit animalic in a subdued way. I'd call this masculine but the right person of any gender could pull it off. It is confident. If fragrance had texture this would be smooth as silk, I notice this every time I put it on it is just smooth smooth smooth.

I had to give a review that does justice to this scent. After spraying I can clearly sense Oud, funky, smokey, with the loving embrace of Rose and Saffron. Patch is there faintly, but musk spices things up. The Oud has a sultry depth and soon Rose and Saffron become more apparent than originally only for smoky Oud to win the battle. The dry down of this juice reminds me of Captain by Lattafa. A manly, smooth, erotic woody smoke that has just soiled Rose and got away with the best of her. Pure bliss.

Actually, it is not like Bond No 9 Oud. Among oud fragrances best perfume is alwways bond no 9 oud! At the start, sharpen rose make you feel bitter moreover, it hurts nostrils. Maybe after 2 hours later, it appears. And you say, yes this is oud perfume! But, especially girls dont like these type smells. They say, no this is so HAJI oil :D and this make you sorry. A more ambery version of Arabian Oud Royal Oud, with added patchouli. It smells slightly less smooth however Overall great quality for the price. The oud here smells like real oud

Beautiful scent. The note pyramid should include a saffron note. The longevity is not good. Like at all. Treat it like an Eau fraiche

smells like Friday prayer bakhoor here in Kuwait I love it, side note it smells so much better on clothes than on skin

One of the best long lasting aoud perfumes you can get..10/10
