Asháa Oud Noir

This is a very solid cologne. I think that most people are wrong about what this is actually cloning though. Most are saying this is a clone of Green Irish Tweed. I actually don't think it is (even though the notes seem like it). I actually bought this for this reason. But I've found that it smells far more similar to Bond No 9 Chez. A work buddy brought it for me to smell and within a minute I made the connection that it smells more like Chez than GIT. GIT and Chez definitely have similarities, but they are not 1 for 1. Asha'a Oud Noir starts off VERY GREEN. It is strong and bitter for the first 15-30min. It smells like fresh cut grass, almost photorealistic to me. Then after about 30min it has a light sweetness that starts coming through and it starts smelling way more like Chez. I'd describe it as Chez on steroids. Basically amp the green of Chez up and you have Asha'a Oud Noir. As it dries down it smells like a sweet breeze blowing over grass basically. I really love it, and for $30 it is phenomenal. It definitely is long lasting. I personally give a good amount of sprays (about 8 on skin and 2 or 3 on clothes). It lasted me the entire workday. I still got whiffs 10hrs later. I think it is a moderate projector, maybe heavy for the first hour. But it calms down into a nice scent bubble. If you are looking for Green Irish Tweed exactly, you will be disappointed. If you are looking for a scent that has the same essence and soul of GIT, then this scent is a winner. If you are looking for a Chez clone, then this is really good. Just know it is a bit more greener take on Chez. But this scent is overall very high quality and will be a staple in my collection.

I have gone through a few Green Irish Tweed clones over the years. I tried the Al Haramain one and Armaf Tres Nuit. One smelled too synthetic to me and the other just did not perform well. Ashaa Oud Noir from Arabiyat Prestige is on another level. It really captures the sparkle of Green Irish Tweed. You get that fresh cut grass vibe, the watery and slightly ozonic notes from violet leaf, and an overall smooth and elegant freshness. I even tested them side by side on opposite arms and it was hard to tell the difference. I feel like this one has flown under the radar. Green Irish Tweed is not exactly the hot thing to be cloning right now but this is a hidden gem. It smells classy, elegant and clean. I am very impressed with Arabiyat Prestige lately. They have been putting out some great stuff and I am excited to see what comes next. Performance is about six hours for me with good projection for the first two hours before sitting closer to the skin which is perfect for this style of scent. If you enjoy Green Irish Tweed or want something fresh and timeless, this is worth checking out.

Reading the reviews before I picked up my decant... I thought (hoped) Ashaa Oud Noir was going to be closer to Chez Bond than to Green Irish Tweed (as I prefer the refinement of Chez Bond, over GIT). Nope. Its GIT, minus the GIT’s stunning opening (but with better performance). Someone below mentioned not liking this at first because the opening smells like detergent... and I agree with them. Still, this is a good fragrance in its own right. And after wearing it a few times it has grown on me. Just not enough for me to want to purchase a full bottle. Edit: It's grown enough on me to purchase a full bottle.

What a perfect and beautiful take on the famous Green Irish Tweed. I have a GIT sampler from Nieman Marcus next to me, and I can safely say this is 100% accurate rendition of the GIT at less than 10% of the cost. This has got to be the best kept secret in the fragrance circle for those who enjoyed the suave elegant scent profile of the Green Irish Tweed. 100% recommend for this blind buy. It took me two years to finally find a worthy rendition of the GIT.

The atomizer on my Creed GIT stopped working and came across a review of this by chance. It’s crazy to me how close this is to Green Irish Tweed. To me, grabbing this means I don’t need to drop far more for the original. I want to mirror what the reviewer before me said - the opening isn’t as good as the original, but the dry down more than makes up for it. Mission accomplished by Arabiyat Prestige.

Nothing compares to Creed’s Green Irish Tweed. Nothing! And this clone isn’t even close. This is a tad sweet, soft and airy. Just save your money and buy the real thing.

This is a BEAST MODE take on Green Irish Tweed. Way smoother than Coolwater by Davidoff with an impressive performance. I didn't really like it at first, but it didn't take long to grow on me. It has a very fresh and green vibe in the opening. It can come across as soapy and detergent-smelling(at least those are what deterred me at first), but when it settles, it gets more mature and woody. If you want that Creed GIT DNA, cop this one. I heard it's way better than the other alternatives in the market. Also, the performance... LMAO.. This lasts way over 12hrs on skin and days on clothes!!! I don't know how they managed to pull this off, tbh.

If you want Creed GIT, go spend the $550 - if you want the ESSENCE of GIT, this is it. This fragrance is so well blended and really refreshing. I find that the oak moss is slightly sweeter in this one vs GIT but this one lasts all day and is easily within 80% of GIT. These fragrances are "inspired by" and it's unrealistic to pay ~$50 for an exact replica that lasts longer and projects more. This is a great alternative for those who like that scent and I'd say a safe blind buy as well.

I do not own Green Irish Tweed but I went to the mall to sample it the same day this arrived in the mail. To me the only thing that distinguished one from the other was the performance. This has 2x the performance. That said, I did not perceive this as a "beast mode" scent. It is an amazing value, great dupe and better performer than the original, but you will not smell this on you or your clothes the following day like with some fragrances.

I'm a woman, so take that into account - I'm not very familiar with the male side of perfumery. I do think this is unisex, but I'd enjoy it more on a man. It opens with a fresh, cucumber-like, mint and juniper note. It's quite a fresh and ozonic scent without being sharp. It has a note of gasoline, oud, lemon, mandarin (kinda like those orange hard candy), juniper and a lot of different warm notes - this fragrance is fresh, but smooth. I find it very office friendly. very interesting at this point. The dry-down is disappointing though: straight up orange gelo. Where do all of the other notes go? It started so well!

The comparison to GIT is not justified here. This is just not a good fragrance, maybe like distant cousins to GIT. Weak projection, longevity and sillage and honestly probably a good thing because thos 3-5 hours aren't enjoyable. This is in the same wheelhouse but with too many twists and cheap ingredients. Amber Oud Carbon is what you're looking for as an alternative to GIT DNA.

Not even close...smells like Tres nuit, sweet dry down...hype is not real. Waste of money....had 8 GIT clones and they are all shit. Simply its not that magic...too bad original lasts 2 hours.
