Ishatar Citrus Oud

This is great. I picked this up after catching wind of it being a Cedrat Boise clone, and I've heard good things about the brand. Upon opening the boys and spraying, there wasn't much resemblance. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. After letting it sit a few days, it has become much better. While it has some similarities to Cedrat, it's not the same, and I like that. It has a similar citrus fruity woody scent profile, but in a slightly different way. I kept catching whiffs as i did the dishes, and they were nice. Solid pickup on its own. CB is not much more, and that is definitely worth getting. So is this. As someone who likes the scent profile I'm happy to have both.

I think this is more like cedrat boise intense, much smoother than CB that got too strong dense citrus. Edited: Need to overspray on clothes,i do it on chest area.15spray and scent stay with you all day at 10hours with moderate projection. I wear it at home its stay until next day. So good buy, i will buy again and skip the OG that double the price

The mandarin is prominent in the opening and feels very fresh but slightly bitter and not that sweet. It's more reminiscent of mandarin peel rather than the fleshy part of the fruit. It smoothes out after a few minutes and the woody notes become more prominent. The oud can't be smelled in the air but is noticable when smelled up close, which is a positive thing to me. Once it has settled, I find this to almost have a woody-citrusy graphite type of smell, probably coming from the cedar. I haven't smelled this accord in the world of middle eastern fragrances yet. The blend comes together very nicely and makes for an elevated citrus-woody fragrance with a twist. Don't be scared off by the name; I'm not *that* fond of oud -- but I took a chance on this and I'm glad I did.
