Kohl Luminous

Oh wow... this made me smile from the very first spray. ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ It's sweet, but not in a heavy way. I get mango, rhubarb and lemon right away, with something that reminds me of sweet biscuits or buttery cookies. I'm guessing that's the praline, but whatever it is, it smells delicious. The rhubarb keeps it fresh while the mango adds a juicy sweetness. Somehow it even has a slightly tea-like feeling, although I can't explain why. This is such a happy fragrance. It's sweet, bright and incredibly comforting without feeling too rich. So far, I absolutely love it.

Bright, fizzy mango goodness. Feels like I'm swimming in mango lemonade. Name "Luminous" fits this perfectly, as the scent brings brightness and joy. Drydown is superb too, longevity around 6-7 hours, like with most summery frags. If you have Vulcan Feu, this is not a must buy since the similarity is very high. However, I feel like this is even more brighter than Vulcan. Insanely good dupe overall, 9,6/10

smells better than the OG GoF and Vulcan Feu because both of those have the sourness smell of the mango which will make it worse on some people's skin: basically it smells sour-like sweat body odour smell on other people unfortunately. the mango in this smells like mango puree which I like better. but if you want a closer clone of GoF, go for Vulcan Feu.

Fresh, a bit spicy, mature and unisex. Performance is actually surprising. Projects even after 4-5 hours. This is without maceration. Great perfume by itself and also good to layer with something else. More than just value for money.

Smells like a spicy mango with lemon. As it dries down I get a very small hint of praline and the scent smooths out. Last 7-8 hours with moderate projection. Unisex slightly feminine. (Personally I will only use it for layering) 7.9/10.

Very strong mango scent that isn’t synthetic which I could appreciate however, when I did wear it, it just became very difficult to withstand a full days wear with it so I let it go. Can’t have a Fragrance that makes me sick from smelling it all day on my vanity.

On me, this smells like a mess. I get some lemon top notes that change into a bathroom spray. Some mango that smells synthetic, and it's swimming in a pot of smoky, mossy, ambergris, with a rhubarb sourness. No. Just no. This was my daughter's face when she smelt this on me: >:O (she found this very offensive) I have a feeling this time of year (winter) is completely wrong for this fragrance. I think this may be one of those where you need humidity for it to work as intended. EDIT: Yes, I was right - this is one for warmer, more humid weather. It then smells of kind of like a mango sorbet.

What did they do clone Vulcan Feu and not GOF? This has the exact same accord breakdown as Vulcan Feu... I guess that's saying something, huh?If they chose to make a dupe of a dupe instead of the OG. Good job French Avenue, kudos!
