Raees Luxury Edition

After the discontinuation of the OG, I started scouting for a replacement, as the new version I feel really lacks the incense that the OG had. After a few reviews, I stumbled upon this one, and I was pretty shocked how close they get to the OG, including the incense. I picked this up for about $50 delivered, and its 180ml bottle. And for those saying this is weak upon first spray, give it a few weeks after initially spraying to macerate, and then judge the fragrance. It's much different than first spray. Upon spraying this initially, it seemed the incense was a little weak. After a few weeks of maceratation, the incense definitely improves and become very prominent in the notes. The performance seems to be about on par with the OG, as it wasn't a beast, but the longevity was pretty decent. It probably doesn't have the exact longevity as the OG, but its acceptable. Rating = 8 out of 10.

VERY f'ing good! This is a handsome man's fragrance. That's the best way I can describe it lol. Also, to me, it is not a direct clone of AdG Profumo/Parfum, but it's roughly in the same family. If you are looking for a direct clone, then Ahmed's Aqua Oud might be a better bet. This one is definitely patchouli heavy. Not as ozonic as the accords suggest - but its still a summer time/monsoon banger. I could see myself wearing this well into autumn. This and the regular Raees (direct Profondo clone) are phenomenal value propositions. The Twilight Aura is the weakest of the bunch, followed by Aurum. Solid 8.75 out of 10 (the Profondo clone is a 9.25 out of 10).

I've been wearing ADG and it's various flankers for years and was excited to try this after reading reviews. Upon first spray I was unimpressed. It came off very screechy and synthetic. I let it sit for 3 months and it's now a really well blended ADG Profumo clone. Slightly smokier, probably from the incense, but still very nice. Truly shocked at the incredible value of this gem. I paid $35 for a 180ml bottle, it smells great and performs very well. I went ahead and purchased a back-up bottle since you can't find the Profondo version of this in the blue bottle. I'm thinking this might follow the same path. If you like ADG this is a safe buy.

This is f'ing wonderful! I've never smelled the real Parfumo, but I can't see it being much better than this or Lattafa Suqrat for that matter. Holy crap the value for the bottle and amazing smell for this is CRAZY!! This one is spicier, has more incense, and is slightly more grown up than Lattafa Suqrat. However Suqrat is more juicy, a little fresher, with a brighter citrus pop. Both last me 10hr+ and project ok for a few hours before becoming a skin scent. I think most enthusiasts of the real thing, and most frag heads would pick Raaes over Suqrat, but I have a hard time choosing. They both bring something nice to the table.

Dare I say this is a better take on the Aqua Di Gio DNA than Armani post reformulation? Now I know this is going after the discontinued Profumo. But you can tell right away it reminds you of the entire line. I remember smelling Profondo after its release and was impressed. I never bought it because I didn’t have the money at the time. After smelling the reformulation, it’s not impressive at all. However, smelling Luxury Edition, it gives me that impressed impression that I remember getting from the old batches of Profondo. Wow.

it's profumo but with a twist, probably like 80% as it is softer and not as dark (probably a pro if you want it to be more versatile). aqua oud is a much better and closer scent to profumo. raees aurum = erba gold raees twilight aura = erba pura

Apparently this one is hard to find in the US, I was lucky enough to find and blindly picked up for about $25, absolutely can’t go wrong for that price. I have not smelled the Og but I do have profondo parfum and this is definitely within the same family. You get some nice amber on the dry down and the incense makes this a well-rounded freshie. It performs pretty well on my skin as well. My profondo parfum is a literal beast so this is a nice cheap alternative when I want something a little less in your face but still makes your presence known, although I’d say this is redundant if you already own an ADG, it could 100% pass as one for 1/3-1/4 the price. Update: after some wear, this does project quite well for a freshie. Will also make your clothes smell nice for a week if that’s your thing.

First time I wore it, got a compliment within the first 40 minutes. To me, this smells very close to House of Sillage No. 003. This just seems a bit less sharp, and the smoothness makes this more enjoyable to wear. I would 1000% recommend this over No. 003 just due to the price being so much less and the scent profile being very similar. All in all a good buy for me and something I will reach for fairly often. 8.8/10

Smells good but I get no performance from this can’t complain 35$ for a 6oz bottle.

Very patchouli and incense heavy....not really getting the ozonic smell. It's good, but a little different than what I expected

I just got this fragrance and out of the box it does not remind me of the adg line at all. This is a very spicy fragrance, so much so it reminds me of nail polish remover. I asked others around me and they agreed it had a strong smell. The people i asked said it didnt smell bad but to me i could not stand it. I tested it and the dry down got better but only after 3-4 hours. The intial spray, however, is so hard to get by i dont know if i will keep this fragrance. Honestly im disappointed but im gonna let it macerate and hopefully my thoughts will change. For now this is not a blind buy safe option. Will update yall asap.

I never had ADG Profumo since I was not into perfumes that much back then (I stayed with the few that I already know/tried from the stores which includes the OG ADG). I do smell the ADG DNA in this though (there is a bit of nostalgia since ADG, Bvlgari, Drakkar Noir and Fahrenheit were my usual perfumes back then) and I think it is modernized enough to still wear these days. Projection is decent (compared to other recent purchases, between Rayhaan Aquatica and Corium - nowhere near Crimson though). As for longevity, I need to test some more, but I sprayed for testing a couple of hours before going to bed and I can still pick it up very faintly as skin scent in the morning. Price is not bad considering that it is 180ml.

I got into the fragrance game probably about a year or so after they discontinued the OG so I can't speak for accuracy. My bottle is dated from about 4 months ago and let me tell you it was horrible performance wise after I got it in. After letting it sit a few days and trying it a few times I definitely think this is amazing for the price point. I don't really get incense like a lot of people are saying but I enjoy the resinous smell that I imagine is what the incense is supposed to be. Summer banger, good fresh aquatic and decent performance after a little bit of time. Looking forward to seeing this one mature through this summer.

I got the fragrance today. Smells absolutely amazing! Reminds me of classic ADG, but with a sweet incense. It’s classy and can be worn year round imo. I never smelled Profumo, but this is a 10/10.

I don't care whether it's duping another parfume or something, what I care is, this thing smells soooo gooood, it lasts soooo long, ain't gonna lie.

Opening is pretty hot, but the mid to drydown section of this goes absolutely bananas.
