Ramad Earthy

A beautiful effort here by Arabiyat Prestige. I'm a big fan of Tobacolor by Dior, and this is reminiscent (not the same) but could easily be a flanker. Another 3 fragrances that share some similarities are TF Tobacco Vanille, Xerjoff Naxos and Tobacco Honey by Guerlain. In this instance, Cardamom and Tea have been used for a spicier and ever so slightly fresher take on the DNA. The Honey in this not as syrupy as the Dior, or as Dusty as the Guerlain. It's a slightly aged Honey that has a nuanced aged (slightly fermented) but still viscous quality. As this evolves and dries down the notes swap around for supremacy with the Honey. First Cardamom spiced Honey, then it's dried fruity honey, then the tea note becomes prominent and later Tonka/Patchouli combo which has a light tobacco vibe as I see no listed Tobacco note. I get no Mango or Cappuccino. But here be Honey for the duration. I have no experience with Amouage's Sindbad or it's new named version Elsewhere. But the evolution on Ramad Earthy is superb. For under 30 bucks you are getting a very high quality of fragrance that has been blended masterfully and constructed in a way not befitting a cheap Middle Eastern clone. I see from many reviews folks either love or hate it in true Amouage style. It's ok to dislike something. No harm, no foul. But saying this is "GROSS" will put a lot of people off ever sampling a scent that strays a little off the reservation that will be a bold and awesome choice for many. I guess this is why everyone smells like LV "Imagination" these days. Oh the irony 😂 Anyway.... This has blown me away. How close it is to the Amouage, I dont know. Bonus if its close but as a standalone fragrance this was made with serious skill and high quality ingredients. Whether you will like that depends on a few things. If you liked any of Naxos, Tobacolor or Tobacco Honey there is a strong chance you will like this. Not a certainty though. If you like the idea of a hybrid between Tobacolor and Naxos with a Cardamom spiciness. Strong chance you'll dig this. But again, not a certainty. So this is definitely not blind buy safe, but...it will have an appeal to many of us. So do try sample it at least. You'll get very good performance(9 hours out the box) and a good level of projection for the first 2, with the added kudos of beating the Powder Puff Candyfloss Appreciators at their own game...only with the Panache and Grace someone who simply comments "GROSS" will never attain. This first clone I have given a a near perfect 9.5/10. But it wont be a universally shared view, and I'm comfortable with that.

Nose Note #1081 Oh, man, what a complex scent... When I'll have the chance I'll definately buy a sample of Elsewhere, but on its own this is great. Definately smells in line with this new Amouage wave like Outlands, Reason, Lustre, but more Outlands, they are similarly "orange" in mood, if you can describe it that way. "Sweet synthetic honey and tobacco" - yeah, sort of, but it doesn't make it bad. Not all niche fragrances smell natural, by far... Right from the start I thought, damn, this reminds me of something. The good people of Fragrantica have already done the job - Tobacco Vanille, Tobacolor and Naxos - this is basically like an amalgamation of the three. I.e. this is nothing particularly new, unfortunately. Not like the other releases from the Essences series were to me even though the majority of them were not impressive. At least they were unique. This offers nothing unique, but it excels at combining all the good elements. A lot of honey, substantial tobacco (but not headache-inducing like in Tobacolor), aromatic components somewhat similar to Naxos. The opening packs a huge punch, I totally didn't expect that. Very strong opening. But eventually it devolves into something just averagely "long lasting", nothing crazy, not like, say, FA Opus Magnum if we are speaking clones. Definately more masculine. I feel like the core of it is very masculine. Great performance overall - very satisfying for that price. I'd never splash out on the OG, so just like Lattafa Creative Art replaced Outlands for me, I feel like this would pretty much replace Elsewhere, but that's to be found out. A lot to write about this, which is in itself suggestive of this being a very solid release. 8.5/10

Complex and intriguing. This is one where descriptors won't do it justice - it won't be what you think it will be. Spiced fruit honey in the opening, but the cardamom - quite strong - stops it going sickly sweet, and quickly opens into a fresh brewed chamomile tea, and will be the note that in reviews to come will call it a grandma/old person frag. and through whatever wizardry they got cooking over there it transitions to a lightly milky coffee. it's quite the trick. but it's called 'earthy' because the davana and patchouli tag team the whole process to give it almost musty - wait for it - earthy accord that kicks in early and is still there in the timber/vanillin base. not blind buy safe in the slightest, and no aspirations to be mass appealing. gonna guess this will be divisive and have die-hard fans and detesters. def worth getting a sample of though, even if it's not your thing it's still a very interesting frag and needs some time - you'll want to rock it for a couple wears before deciding if it's a hit or a miss, but the more i wear it the more i like it. that front end can be challenging but the back end is sensational.

One of the more complex fragrances at this price point. Very well made, balanced and blended. The honey is there at the forefront but it’s not sickly sweet or sticky. The fruits and honey complement each other well. The dry down continues to display the honey but adds a layer of complexity that feels deep and rich. Resinous almost. Of course I haven’t smelled the original but I do agree with that it feels similar to other fragrances like tobacolor. I won Maison Al hambra smoky and side by side there are notably difference in complexity, scent and quality. Ramad is clearly the higher quality fragrance with a more interesting scent profile and progression. The only problem is that it’s limited in use and honey scents tend to only be photorealistic sticky or warm and rich (ramad is the latter) which is good but it can feel like “if you’ve smelled one you’ve smelled them all”. Will continue to enjoy it, more than Smoky, and maybe after macerating it will display any other interesting changes.

I just got it today 10 minutes ago. First impression is Wow I love it! The juice is so oily so be careful I don't think it's be good idea on clothes. Project so well 2 spray the whole living room is filled with it. Smells like I don't know if you had that also but when I was so young in school we got that honey in small plastic box to put on bread :) like a travel size. Smells like that with fruits but not juicy fruits much more the sun dried fruits. Also slightly ginger and the tea note coming through. I don't get any cappuccino accord. Earthy yes but not so much and also sweet vanilla and Tonka. Also like a tiny little bit of minty feeling. I will leave it till winter time and definitely be the one I will reach out so often. I love this fragrance out of box first sniff. Not for everyone. Not blind buy safe. For me 10/10 I can't compare to the OG because no chance in this life I be able to buy or even try that Simbad. Arabiat prestige Ramad earthy is fire in my opinion!

I just got this today and out of the box it's a 10/10 for me. It's complex. It's weird. I like it. Kinda reminds me of stale Christmas chocolate covered jelly candies and the smell of freshly opened plastic toys underneath the Christmas tree. It's like I'm back in my childhood, eating those candies and opening the gifts, someone is making coffee in the kitchen and you can still feel the smell from the empty glass that's on the small table in the room, out of which your dad drank spiced mulled wine last night. And there's also a smoke/incense smell in the air for whatever reason, perhaps mom is smoking again. And I mean all that in the best, sophisticated way possible for a perfume. Eastern europeans know the Christmas I'm talking about. Given that this were the first sprays and the smell can only get better from this point, it's a fuck yeah from me. Fuck yeah Arabiyat Prestige! Can't talk about performance at this point.

Bought this perfume because Sindbad was really good! In the opening, Ramad Earthy starts with a strong honey note that dominates. Sindbad also has honey, but it’s more subtle and comes off fruitier. Ramad Earthy also has a camphor/incense vibe. For me, it actually smells nice because I’m used to that kind of camphor smell, so the opening feels like honey mixed with camphor. After about an hour, both start to smell somewhat similar not identical. The difference is that Sindbad evolves better. It goes from a fruity honey almost mango like into a more davana, and then it gets greener over time. Ramad Earthy stays more linear in comparison. Both smell good, but Sindbad definitely has more depth and transition. But without comparing it to Sindbad, Ramad Earthy actually stands well on its own. It has a really nice honey-camphor smell, and I love it.

Okay this one is quite lovely... The opening starts out with a very real honey note. It is almost too realistic but it immediately starts to calm down and the beautiful spices come in. All of them play a part and it is blended together beautifully. I’ll never smell Sinbad but this makes me feel special. It’s amazing but don’t expect it to get the ladies attention. My wife thought it was nice but women tend to like either super barbershop manly, fresh fruity, or shower gel clean. This is in its own lane. I am excited to wear it for date night. I think that would shine more for a lady. Overall an amazing scent that’s worth the price! I’m so happy to have this one in my collection

Not a lover of the Naxos/Rayhaan Italia DNA, so I thought I wasn’t into honey fragrances as a whole. However, I was curious to try Ramad Earthy since it’s duping the rare, very expensive Amouage Sindbad. Turns out I just hadn’t tried a honey fragrance that was appealing to me YET. Ramad Earthy smells complex and exciting, with contrasting elements that work well together. Spicy, smoky, fruity honey, with the honey note being the most prominent. Haven’t sampled the original, but this is excellent as a standalone fragrance. Longevity is very good.

Is this a thick fragrance? Or just sweet with the honey, the other light stuff and that's it? Does it have a strong body? For example is it like Grow from French Avenue? That one is sweet too but feels very thin, almost like a diluted, watery scent if that makes sense. Or is it more like, say, Nabatieh or 8th Wonder which have a more robust body? I see woody up there as the top note which would suggest that it has a solid base but what kind of woody is it?

Amazing scent, Honey, fruits, incense and no it doesn’t smell like TF Tobacco vanilla, I get why people say it does tho. It’s not a beast performer as it’s showing here, long lasting tho, like 8 to 10 hours, sillage is on the moderate to weaker side. But as a scent I love it honestly 8.5/10 for me, overall 7.5 because of the weak sillage! Mine is 2/26 production and I had it for like 10 days, hopefully with maceration it gets better.

I don’t know what kind of bananas the guy below me is eating. I smell spiced, honeyed fruits (of the non banana variety) that transition into a slightly creamy, herbal, honey chai latte vibe. Eventually drying down into some light woods with a little resin and some sweetness hanging around.

If you Love Tobacco 01 and and other fragrances like tobacco honey your going to love earthy. TO ME, Earthy is a wonderful scent just like the other fragrances I have mentioned. Heavy on the Honey note. I can't say how long it lasts because I wasn't tracking but do know it's damn good.

Smells like a honeyberry backwood. A fruity incense stick that dries into an earthy honey glazed tea smell.

Spiced honeyed fruit. Smells balanced and opulent; a sweet and earthy, bountiful offering.

I get tobacco vanille vibes but got it's own twist, beast mode fragrance loved it.

Well balanced Good projection and long lasting Very close to Sindbad 10/10

I don't know what the fuck this is, or what it wants to be, but I know for sure that it is VERY POTENT. It's gourmand one minute, then it's dirty tobacco, then it's creamy spaffage, then it's tutti frutti, then it's floral, then it's oud, and on and on, forever and ever it goes. It's like a really pungent war chameleon. There will be a type of smell in it somewhere that everyone will like, because they've really thrown the kitchen sink at this thing. It smells as if a 10 year old child has had a go at making a perfume, and they have put far too many ideas together, with no adults supervising them. It seems to be balancing precariously on the edge of overloading your olfactory nerves, very nearly sending them into a state of shock. It steams through multiple scent families in the same way that I steam through a box of All Bran. And I eat a very lot of All Bran. Keeps the pipes in order and prevents constipation. Anyway, enough about bowel movements, back to the scent. This perfume starts off very synthetic, but when it gets to the point where I want to scrub it off my skin because I've got a soapy headache, it miraculously and unexpectedly loses the synthetic smell. At this point, it becomes a big strong bastard of a perfume, that flexes it's muscles like Ravishing Rick Rude when he did that showdown with The Ultimate Warrior, on the 1989 Royal Rumble. Those were the days. It has nuclear, unstoppable sillage that detonates like a dirty bomb made by an unskilled terrorist, and it has more staying power than the fallout dust after the dirty nuclear explosion. Just when you think you can no longer smell it, it shouts "think again, cunt!" and it goes quickly back to assaulting your olfactory nerves. I prefer to wear this later in the day, if I fancy a change of smell, because it has the ability to absolutely obliterate any other perfume that it is sprayed over. If you like perfumes that arrive in the room five minutes before you do, and you're willing to wear something that smells extremely confusing, then this perfume will be your best mate. 6/10. It is clumsy and doesn't have any real identity, purpose or story. Just a shitload of "nice" smells all piled up on top of eachother with little care and reckless abandon. It is an extrait de parfum however, so the superior oil content gets it and extra point.

Some people mentioned TF Tobacco Vanille, and since i read it, i can't unsmell it. It's like a fruity TV, especially as soon as sprayed. On clothes and paper, the scent gets stuck on the bubblegum-y sweetness, but on skin the smokiness is revealed (which is kind of plasticky). Not bad at all. It just needs the right occasion in the winter. Conflicting notes are just right to keep your nose interested, second guessing, and not find it boring. (Never smelled Sinbad)

An overdose of honey with tobacco , then a fruity smell that kind of smells like rotten or overripe fruit , pretty long lasting and not for everyone
