Caramel Chocolate Macaron

Update: This is now my favourite of the collection! I am so pleasantly surprised, I wasnt expecting this to be as good as it is. I have never smelt Sweet Tooth Caramel Dream so the "reminds me of" wasnt helping my confusion, as this is called Caramel Chocolate Macaron but has no notes of chocolate or macaron, rather the notes look like it would be perhaps be version of caramel vanilla like Bianco Latte. Well it really isnt, it smells like a Crunchie or a Heath bar in a matured gourmand way that is sweet enough to be feminine but has something about it that would smell lovely on men. I dont know why they didnt just put the chocolate note in the note pyramid. As a chocolate perfume lover this is definitely chocolate and worthy of a spot among my chocolately collection. It is not crazy sweet as I expected as the few reviews I came across fixated on the caramel so much, but actually it really does smell like a caramel chocolate macaron to me, like the caramel is in the presence of a significant amount of milk chocolate whereby they soften each other. Exactly like a Crunchie bar! The chocolate is coffeelike and fudgy but not overpowering, due to a honey note blending seamlessly with the chocolate accord, you can barely tell where one begins and the other ends. The opening of the fragrance has a slight lime accord which alchemizes into an almondy, crisp and light linger which is very true to the macaron name. As this happens the deeper chocolate takes hold. Then the secret star of this fragrance is patchouli, it is really really prominent especially in the middle dry down, it lessens by complete drydown but this is a place where it just seems to work so well with the caramel and chocolate that it makes the fragrance really pleasantly wearable and not just foodie edibleness alone, but it is overall definitely a gourmand to me not a flormand, just a more matured one because of the patchouli. It is also a very strong fragrance but in a softened and not cloying way, which I was apprehensive about because the other caramel heavy fragrance in the line Dulce de Leche seemed way too strong and sticky a caramel for me. This one isnt, it literally feels like the vibe of the caramel chocolate macaron on the cover of the box, with that whipped aerated creamy texture of the caramel filling and the chewy fudgy crackly chocolate macaron cookie, it isnt thick sticky caramel. Honestly it smells like one of the more expensive of the bunch I have tried so far and not your typical affordable gourmand. It is also so long lasting as I sprayed myself in the evening before bed and could still smell just as strong the next morning and it only left when I took a shower. So basically this is another very well done perfume in the line with complexity, though it may not be as crowd pleasing as others, it should be getting more attention!

worst opening I have smelt in my entire life it was giving spices???, it was odd I litteraly thought I have a wrong decant, I ended up falling in love with this perfume, that's some patchouli in it 100% sure tho it's not listed, basically caramel goodness with patchouli with milk and subtle white flowers in the background, it's so deliiiicious I ended up buying a full size bottle it lasts sooooo long and the silage is so far the best from this collection, I have 50 bottles of different designer, affordable and even niche perfumes and if I want a real caramel scent I reach for this, smells much more luxurious than it is.

I bought this for my daughter. And OMG this is so good! Not childish not to much sweet. Smell like macarons in the best possible way! I highly recommend it!

bought it for christmas, at first it smelled VERY chemical after a few minutes from the floral notes and it was very hard to wear it macerated for a month and its way better, the floral notes are still dominant on me but the caramel is more noticable, not gourmand like a macaron

By far the WORST out of the entire Sugar collection - I have them all and have reviewed them all. Yes, the opening is good, not only for this, but for all of its sisters from the collection. But the dry-down? Awful, synthetic, plastic-y, foul smelling scent that screams CHEAP! Such a pitty because that honey note made it so appealing and promising and the coumarin made it stand out. It could have been such an amazing perfume :(((

This one leans into a burnt‐caramel effect, almost like scorched sugar in a steel pot, likely from the coumarin while the floral notes sit quite prominently. As with many ME releases that feature chocolate or gourmand facets, it may need a few months of maceration to fully round out. I’ll let it rest and revisit it in a few weeks to see how it develops

I got this today. The opening is a blast of caramel which fades quickly and the dry down as someone commented below, smell similar to Sweet tooth caramel dreams by Sabrina Carpenter. I will let it sit for a few weeks and see how if develops
