Coconut Chiffon

As a coconut enthusiast and as someone who practically wears coconut scents, this is definitely approved!! I would say this is definitely on the gourmand side, where it basically smells like a fluffy, airy, creamy, nutty, and buttery coconut cake with toasted coconut flakes on the top. The opening I would say is just purely coconut, where the dry down you get that creamy and nutty coconut cake with that gourmand profile with some slight floral (because of the jasmine). I would say as it dries down more it starts to becomes more of that sunscreen/lotion smell (which I don't mind at all) paired with that coconut cake aspect but it still smells absolutely delicious regardless! If your a coconut lover like me and you want something that smells like a gourmand coconut, this is definitely for you :)

I was surprised with this one in a good way. I was expecting it to smell very synthetic because of the bottle but it smelled nice. It not dense, it's light and airy. Chiffon is a good name for this. A fluffy coconut cake is how I would describe this. I'm happy this worked for me because I'm seeing a lot of negative reviews in here and this was a blind buy

This is a decadent coconut cake. It is similar to SDJ 39 but not exact. When I sprayed it on me it radiated and filled my whole space in ONE spray. Its more aromatic and light but still rich and creamy. Its just a sexy, airy sophisticated gourmond. Hard to explain but I LOVE it. I'll do a side by side at some point and come back

My wife recently bought this and my immediate take was a creamy coconut cake. Definitely on the gourmand side. Smells amazing, at least on my wife’s skin. She really enjoys it, as do I.

alright so. i love love coconut so i thought i'd love this and I DO but not fully.... its not the summery sweet coconut i wanted, this is definitely not hot weather friendly at all. at first its a gorgeous coconut biscuit, smells like those ''nice'' coconut biscuit packets, exactly the same, coconut biscuit with sugar on top. sweet, mouthwatering, nutty. but then,,,,, the butter kicks in. i dont know what it is but it turns so weird as soon as i can smell the butter note. it becomes so so dense and feels ,,greasy'' and not pleasant. i wish it just stayed linear instead of progressing into this weird unpleasant dense nutty grease. gotta give it to them tho the staying power on this is INSANE. so is the projection as well. phenomenal performance for this price (unfortunately lolol) my mom says it smells like parsley. do with that what you will.... update: gave this to my sister to use as decoration on her nightstand along with her figurines. i cannot do this, it's macerating and only becoming stronger, and even as someone who absolutely is obsessed with gourmands, this is way too much and i cannot stomach it. nauseating.

I really enjoy layering this with the Strawberry Tres Leches. It creates the most delightful, creamy, coconutty bubble scent, enhanced by a subtle touch of strawberry milk. Will let it sit for a bit to improve longevity but not bad for the price.

I like it. It smells just like Sol de janeiro 39, the longevity is good and I feel the butter and the coconut. It’s more like an airy coconut perfume.

It’s a delicious coconut with a hint of a fruit at first, like a cake or a cookie and then it dries down to thank u next.

Very interesting and very gourmand, but surprisingly not too strong or overbearing. I have quite a few Coconut fragrances, nothing really like this though. If I had to draw relation, closest thing would be SDJ 39. I’m probably just weird, but this straight up smells like a plate of golden fried Coconut Shrimp; Those expensive fresh hand battered ones with the big coconut flakes. Worn this a few times since receiving at the end of last month, and it just hasn’t left the impression I thought it would. Not bad at all, simply okay for now. I recommend sampling ‘Coconut Chiffon’ before committing to a whole bottle. 😇

I had high hopes, because I thought I’d find the perfect match for SdJ 39, but sadly not. I totally get the sour, lemonish scent which ain’t disappearing with the drydown. I think it’s the lily of the valley note, it just does not fit in the notes imo. Other than that, it could be a nice coconutty dessert perfume. There are so many better options for a sweet coconut cake perfume.

First impressions! Ok, hear me out, even though it doesn't have lemon listed to me this smells like a lemony coconut custard. It has a slight sourness but not unpleasant. It reminds me of something but I can't put my finger around it yet. I will update in a few weeks for longevity etc.

At first it was smelling like a lemon coconut custard but after sitting for a while it doesn’t sit very well with me. The sour coconut with the butter smells a bit like baby vomit.

Hmm, reading the reviews below and somehow mine is quite the opposite. So this one opens up with a fantastic, lovely, sweet, photo-realistic creamy biscuit with sugar and a hint of coconut. The opening is so good, so gourmand and so unexpected that I almost immediately went back to the website I bought it from to add 2 more bottles in the cart. But good thing I didn't get myself carried away and decided to wait and see the dry-down. Unfortunately, it left me extremely disappointed :( It leaves a weird, synthetic, foul and stingy scent that I cannot quite explain but have encountered in so many other cheaper perfumes. If you ever bought an extremely cheap drugstore perfume just out curiosity, the dry-down is exactly that. That smell of something sour and weird and very annoying that you just cannot get off your skin and out of your nostrils :((( Hard pass!

Edit: I tried it on a summer day, and Lord, it was horrible! I smelled like a moldy coconut cookie that a little kid with smelly feet had stepped on. Apart from the head notes, the perfumes of Sugar line seem very one-dimensional and unified. I have Matcha Latte, and this one. Of course this one opens with a quite artificial coconutty, buttery cake note, Matcha Latte opens with a peachy buttery sweetness. But after 15 minutes I don't necessarily find big differences between them. They have the same sugary-vanillic children bubblegummy feeling. No dimensions, no individuality. 🤷🏻♀️ I would recommend the sugar line to high school girls. It has fun bottles, loads of sweetness, and funny openings.

I didn’t expect much from this one, especially after reading mixed reviews. Bought it from tik tok and I regret it. It smells incredibly cheap and synthetic. It feels like a failed attempt to mix the Yum Boujee DNA with coconut flakes. The worst part? When I tried to wash it off, the scent reacted with the soap and made my hand smell like sweat. Seriously, do not buy this without testing it first. It is not worth the money.

This opens up with such a sour coconut scent that it quite unpleasant, almost like a spoiled fruit scent. It becomes a bit better as it dries down and starts to smell like a coconut biscuit (as some had mentioned) but that sour opening ruined this for me. Another pass from the Sugar line.

A very artificial coconut scent for the first minute, there is nothing creamy or buttery about it, as it dries down I get a cheap musk smell.

The artificial butter in the base note is overpowering, like some movie popcorn candle.. and ruined an otherwise acceptable scent.

The perfume is very linear, there aren't any layers or complexity to it. It smells like sweet condensed milk with coconut, reminiscent of sweet STALE BUTTER . As it dries down, that stale butter scent becomes even stronger and more cloying .. Completely unwearable .. looks like most of the reviews here are fake ...

This is easily one of the strongest Arabiyat Sugar releases I’ve tried so far IMHO. A single spray is enough to fill my entire office and leave a noticeable trail long after I’ve walked through. It projects with confidence right from the start. The opening does hit with that intense, creamy, slightly synthetic coconut, which can feel a bit bold at first. But I have a feeling this one will benefit from some time to macerate and settle. With its richer gourmand notes: vanilla, caramel, sugar, musk and even a buttery softness, it feels like Coconut Chiffon needs time to melt together into something smoother and more realistic. And honestly, at the reduced half‐price point and with that absolutely adorable bottle, it’s the kind of scent that’s just fun to own and display.

Opens with a very intense synthetic coconut smell that is used for candles. Then settles in the middle is a buttery caramel smell. Has a hint of vanilla and waffles in there. There is one problem though. The dry down after 1 hour smells like your kids lunchbox the next day after he brought home buttered waffles. Very stale and kitcheny. You feel like getting away from it by rinsing it off. Not a safe blind buy. The bottle is tacky with a rubbery strawberry cap but I could not smell any strawberry notes in there. I will wear this for an hour or so. Not recommended for date nights.

I really like the buttery coconut notes but I wasn't expecting a kind of chemical smell on top of it that washes it out into something harsh. Maybe it will improve with time.
