Aramis Always for Him

I recently found one of my old bottles of this while I was doing some cleaning around the house. I completely forgot I used to wear this all the time back in the day, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found about a quarter of my 100ml still left in the bottle. Atomizer was broken, so I quickly grabbed a mini travel atomizer and transferred the juice into it. Did a couple of sprays and... it's smells just as amazing as I remember it. The classiest most refreshing cucumber note with a hint of ginger and later mint, all wrapped in a beautiful smooth vetiver. A beautiful aquatic that over the years I never found anything that quite smelled like it. I tried Dunhill Fresh at some point for the cucumber note, but my bottle of that was bad or something, because it smelt literally like alcohol mixed with urine. I'm going to go hunting for some bottles now that it's discontinued if I can find it, this scent takes me back and it's gorgeous. Edit: Found 2x 50ml bottles from a local shop and ordered them straight away. Can't wait to put my nose on them, hopefully they've been stored well.

Freshly squeezed lemon & freshly cut cucumbers as simple as that🥒🍋 very citrusy ..sour... bright...uplifting... just amazing👌 Average performance is about 4 to 6 hours but worth buying 100% if you can find it ..I think they changed the bottle? This supposed to be Aramis / Andre Agassi fragrance? Right?... I guess it's discontinued? I would buy it again if I can find it!

This is my husband's but the sweet cucumber means I have stolen it and am loving wearing it to work as it is so fresh and inoffensive. Yes, it does smell masculine, but in an androgynous way and is soft enough and fresh enough to pass as a more musky feminine fragrance. I love it, just hoping my husband isn't wondering where it's gone!

Perfect perfume for the summer, does not last long on the skin, you need to carry a small version with you or pour into a travel dispenser

I finally got my hands on a bottle to add to my very large Aramis collection. It's not cheap now that it's discontinued, hence the lateness in adding to the collection. This is a very fresh and plesant fragrance that opens up immediately with a blast of cucumber and is quickly followed by the the lime and mint. They almost lingers all the way down to the bass notes and for me this is a class act. Longevity is good and silage is at arms length but overall Aramis Always is par for the course from this house. When it comes to its overall quality a 9 out of 10 is an appropriate rating. What I discovered over time using it (which is not on my rotation simply because of its rarity) it one I've come to really appreciate. It's not my favourite Aramis cologne but it's up there in the top 3, For an aquatic it performs longer in cool conditions than higher temperatures! A really lovely fresh fragrance👍🤗!! Update: I can't believe my good fortune, I just picked a 50ml bottle for £18/$27. When I bought my 100ml newer design bottle, that cost my £100/$150 because it was difficult to get hold of! Overall an excellent fragrance to have in any collection!

Aramis Always for Him Aramis is exactly what I want to smell like if I am going to sail the Caribbean! I love that this scent does not have rum, coconut, or vodka notes in it! I was visiting the Montage Hotel in Maui having a mocktail called a “Spa Day”; coconut water, cucumber, pineapple-sage shrub with seltzer and it was the most refreshing thing I have ever tasted! This fragrance captures that drink in a bottle for me! I am laughing so hard because that trip to Hawaii had me in a horrid situation, but years later now I can look back and be like that drink was the silver lining of the whole trip! Finding a fragrance that captures that is amazing! I love how subtle the lime is in this and the mint is not overwhelming, excellent!

It is a nice Fresh Aquatic Fragrance, Clean, Bright and Light. The Combination of Lime, Ginger and Mint with Creamy Cucumber in the background. The Mint note is dominant in this scent, This perfume reminds me a bit of Polo Black in the opening but It is not the same. Aramis Always for Him is very Rare Now and I bought it blind-buy by chance , Because I decided to buy chopard pour homme, then I bought both of them. Overall, It smells so good for Hot weather and I really enjoy it. Longevity is Average. Rating : 7.5 / 10

This was so realistic juicy sweet watermelon. Although no included watermelon note, still evokes of freshly sliced, sweet, watermelon in the end result. Starts a bit green, minty but quickly evolve into watermelon. Positive vibe, summer scent Too bad is discontinued

Found a bottle by chance and was able to test it for potential buying. When it comes to watery scents this could be the most watery one. The initial note to touch your nose is surely the fresh cucumber, thanks to cucumber aldehyde (trans-2,cis-6-Nonadienal) which is responsible for the smell of cut cucumbers for the most part. It is accompanied by the lemony citric ginger and a a slight minty feeling like others mentioned. Very subtle fragrance, better to test in neutral environments, in a smelly store all its delicacy is unnoticed. Mid-drydown, which is basically after 10 minutes, is all about white musks and Helional for me, an abstract watery ingredient that smells ozonic, a bit anisic (like basil freshness). This is an educated guess based on my own perfume blends, Helional drydown is familiar. Any ambrox or iso-e super type ingredients that might be filling the gaps is not noticeable as with many perfumes that don’t overdose them. Overall, this is a true millennial aquatic, would disappoint on performance, but I like it. Avon Fullspeed and one of its flankers (could be the grey bottle) might give an idea minus the cucumber hit in the opening of Aramis Always.

Tried this at Sydney Myer department store (for those having trouble finding it). It is instantly a bananary fresh-wood smell. The freshness is more from mint, but really smells like banana skin, or at least banana leaf. So I compare this directly to DSquared He wood. Always is a tiniest bit spicier, heavier and what I can only explains more airy, as He Wood is a thicker, fresher scent. Both are perfect for spring, or even summer. HE Wood is ether for day wear as it cannot reach that power required for a night out, though Always may be better for a night in at a friends house, though te smell would be a lil less appreciable in He Wood is juts a tiny bit more unique in it's projection. But if you need attention drawn to it that badly, Always is the way, as you wot need to apply too often.

2003-2006 was a strange time for the house of aramis.this is a raw mint and cucumber in the open and is brash.orange starts showing up at about 1/2 hour in the opening.if i could only pick up the cinnamon everything would be fine.i really doubt cardamon and amber are even gonna show up.vetiver IS noticeable.at this point aramis always is already a win for me.i'll be darned i think cardamon is popping up now because i smell something faintly elegant and aromatic like.i dont complain much about longevity when it comes to aramis.i am just happy with all the variations aramis offers. update:this cologne has zip longevity.it is gone within 2hrs. and i mean gone as in git,vamooz,andale,scat!

I have a decant of this. Use it a few time and have grown to like its green,fruity, breezy notes. I might get a bottle soon. (oh, and I'm wondering how's the girl-version smell likes?)

Huge lot of cucumber, make me so fresh. Maybe too sharp but makes me happy. But it on my skin 2 hours only.

My ex had this one. I agree with proton: definitely watermelon. And a cucumber note is so strong! Love it.
