Aramis Life My Summer

I recently picked this one up, and very glad I did. I have to say that this fragrance just screams summer. Whenever I spray this on, I cannot help but think of the beach. I live in Miami, FL and if I could describe Miami Beach with a fragrance, It would definitely be with this one. How does it smell, you ask? Think of sun block, sea water, ocean air, and a sweet lemon margarita at the same time. It is must have for any collector. I will also that I have fragrances that are also said to be a reminder of summer and the beach such as: Coney Island, Virgin Island Water, and Set Sail St. Barts. But I would still go with Life My Summer.

Quite, quite unique. At first there is something that resembles commercial cleaning products but it does not last, fortunately, and it improves greatly on the skin. Recommended.

Got some samples of creed neroli savauge and jardin d almafi from neiman marcus.neroli sauvage has a base note just like aramis my summer.both have bergamot but my summer has bergamot that lasts to the dry down where it mixes with cedar.the neroli sauvage dry down smells identical to my summer except aramis is 5x stronger.it must be the grapefruit mixing with bergamot that gives off the citrus/ cedar scent in neroli sauvage.both have this challenging note that is so prominent.i always thought it was just cedar in the my summer that i smelled but now i know its bergamot too.

i have this cologne and after many wears finally can smell the citrus and leather.why?why did it smell so horrid when i sprayed it on my chest?tonight i sprayed some on my hand to really get to know or hate this cologne.this has got to be the most un-aramis cologne estee lauder ever made.pungent, pungent like a wisteria flower.pungent like a texas mountain laurel flower.saffron? so not like aramis.

Very Lemony, icy and minty. It could have been just another run of the mill fresh fragrance, but It's different, I dare say if It had carried a Niche brand label It could have reached better luck with sales. It's certainly a fresh "acquired taste" fragrance. No calone, no melony-watery smell. At the same time the harsh initial smell can repel people, after some minutes some folks can be hooked by a nice drydown. However, as a big fan of the original, I must admit "My Summer" isn't the "summer flanker" I expected when I bought it. Instead of being a more citrusy/sparkling version, It reminds me of Unilever kitchen-cleaning Cif cream... If you like that kind of "clean artificial" smell, go for it. It has nothing to do with its predecessor. It's what happens when industry push all the boundaries while testing "clean smelling" aromachemicals in a fragrance. Is it bad? No, but I do like Cif cream smell!

I guess this is discontinued as most of the bottles on eBay are going for $100.00 plus. Lucky me; got this at the flea market , slightly used ; $15.00 . I would not have bought it but I spritzed myself ONE time then walked around and I could not stop sniffing my hand. This evokes "niche beachies " and is pretty strong. Fortunately ; there is NOTHING in here that smells like the basic Aramis scent. At all ! BLIND BUY SAFE: if you want Tommy Bahama St. Barts & Creed Virgin Island Water to have a baby.

Unique fresh zesty slightly sweet energising masterpiece. I had one bottle and it was so perfect. Sadly discontinued.
