Dirham Wardi

From the brand's notes you clearly see the aim to be contemporary. And this truly is a child of its time, and in that one of the best kinds. Cheerful, elegant, young, feminine. The prevalent sweetness is both comforting and flirty; still I can see it fit for all kinds of occasions. To me this brings two perfumes to mind; The heavy, condensed white flowers in Good Girl have been replaced with a fresh Delina rose. And while I enjoy GG somewhat and, as a rose collector, sadly find the latter to have an adstringent, slightly sharp feel (apology to Delina friends - it just means one less around to steal your signature) - this works beautifully. It's not a dupe, but plays with prominent facets of both to combine them to a, for me, superior scent. It radiates quite a bit, but subtly so and whenever you catch a bit of it in the air, it's gentle. A patchouli woody base adds the needed dash of sophistication and depth, and overall this lingers around noticably even on the next day. (used in dry, cool, central european summer) On the back, the soft pink bottle is covered by silver ornaments of leaves and flowers. And if you remove the tag and its ghastly string, it looks and feels quite nice. A big price makes 'exclusive', a small one 'inclusive' - I have a preference, and appreciate Dirham Wardi for this also. Considering I don't live for any associated perfumes mentioned this was a daring blind buy, but such a happy one.

This fragrance is new to my collection and with all middle eastern scents I am going to let this macerate for a while and come back with updates. I loved this one from first spray though and had to come talk about it. As someone who can find rose scents very "grandma-esque" I was nervous about the rose being to mature and fortunately the rose in this is a very fresh and sweet rose that takes backburner to the orange blossom notes. The black currant and white florals balance very nicely making this scent a good mix of fresh, sweet and floral. I get very little/no patchouli but the tonka and vanilla make the base of this fragrance a rich vanilla. If you like the idea of florals but balanced with other sweet and fresh notes I would definitely say try this one. Only downside is longevity... I have worn this twice now once to bed and once to work. I could still smell some of the base notes when I woke up however while moving around and at work this only lasted 2 hours. Hopefully as it macerates that issue will go away but for the price I also won't complain about carrying it around to reapply.

I really want to like this perfume, but the performance is disappointing. I love the praline note and the jasmine. Even though rose and pear are the first notes, I don't pick them up until a little later. Now, I love the combination of notes. It definitely reminds me of La Vie Est Belle. But for some reason, I can't detect the scent anymore on myself. I'm sure it's because I've become noise blind, but I was hoping I could smell it myself throughout the day because I really like it. To me, it's warm and comforting. Idk why. I wanted to start wearing vanilla fragrances again but less immature ones. This fragrance gives me that praline, vanilla, and tonka and also makes me fill like a put together woman. I'll keep wearing it test its true longevity. But so far, it's moderate. I initially don't smell it on myself, but than maybe 4 hours later I smell it when I come back to my room after spraying it, if that makes sense.

This was a blind buy based on a friend’s review on Instagram, and is among my best blind buys. I can see why from the bottle someone can say it smells like Good Girl, because I can smell BBW Dahlia in the dry down (which is supposed to be dupe for CH Good Girl) The opening though, is a very fresh clean rose - bordering on soapy. Maybe it’s the Iris? I love the rose and would love it all the way but the scent changes ever so slowly to morph into a completely different scent! It then turns deliciously sweet because of the praline and is such a comforting scent I can’t stop sniffing myself. I was expecting more longevity out of this but I also have to consider the fact that I live in a hot and humid country. This is fresh enough to wear in summer and cozy enough to wear in winter. Blind buy win!

Initially, I found the patchouli in this to be unbearably. I would spray and it would remind me of being at a petrol station. On my skin, I didn't get Rose, pear, praline or vanilla. I only got the patchouli. One year later, I went back to Dirham Wardi and it's a creamy, soft, feminine, rose perfume sweeten with pear, vanilla and praline. The rose-pear-jasmine combination is a bit unique which makes it lovely and I really like it. The perfume just needed some time to sit and to settle. In my perfume journey, I've learnt that it's hard to judge a perfume on first impression or just a few wears. You really do need to give a perfume some time to settle, then to go back to it and see how you feel about it after trying it in different weather conditions.

Goodness, Dirham Wardi is sooooooo freaking good... She's been in and out of my cart for a few years now. I finally got her in December... I cannot believe I blew through the entire bottle in a few weeks. It's not my fault though... Every single time I wore her, I got stopped and asked what perfume I was wearing. Of course I am a sharer, so I always offered a spray or two. Kudos to Ard al Zaafaran for making this absolute beauty. I'm on Bottle No.2 now. I can't believe this one is so darn affordable. So worth it. Update 4/8/24 - On bottle #3. So dang good. This is a signature scent for me now. It just makes me feel happy whenever I wear it. And yes, I still get stopped and asked what I am wearing each and every time I wear Dirham Wardi.

Dirham Wardi does not smell like Good Girl but, the praline note in the perfume is the exact same as it is in Good Girl. This is where the similarities start and end - they are not dupes. Dirham Wardi is very rose and praline dominant; in the opening, middle and dry down. Iris also dominates in Dirham Wardi which gives the fragrance a powdery finish. I think this is where the comparison with Miss Dior (2021) comes in as they are both powdery. However, the iris in Miss Dior is sweeter, calmer and safer. To compare, Miss Dior kind of smells like the best baby powder on the market, and Dirham Wardi's powdery note is kind of outshined by the dominant rose. Overall, it's a love for me. I can't stop spraying and sniffing myself.

I initially reviewed this one after just opening it and spraying it on, maybe after 5 minutes but after wearing it for hours on multiple pulse points I had to edit. I first got strong whiffs of white floral, specifically orange blossom, along with a powdery musk but there is much more to it than that. Gorgeously feminine and clean, almost soapy, but more so along the lines of a a luxurious shower gel rather than a basic bar soap. The floral notes are delicate enough to suit younger, elegant enough to suit older. The drydown is a creamy, comforting tonka and praline combo that lingers and fades to a soft powder. Sweet but not syrupy, floral but not dated, clean but not brisk. And 3.4 oz for $25? A safe blind buy for sure.

I bought as an impulse blind buy and was dissapointed at first. After few weeks of using it, this became one of my current favorites. I pick rose, patchouli and praline; it's really sweet- fresh and feminine, safe, daily wear scent. My husband is super picky and sensitive to smells and to my happiness, he said this one is really lovely. With this price (I live in Middle East so I could easily get it for like 10 bucks), I don't expect the scent to last longer than what this one does, and I honestly don't mind that. [edit - i am not sure what's going on with my perception of smell but this is giving the similar praline to Angel Mugler! ]

I dont have good girl but I have bint hooran. Not remotely alike. I was genuinely confused to see the comparisons. This is a fruity floral with a vanilla base, bint is a vanilla scent. This is soft floral like a few roses mixed into a load of berry type fruits served with vanilla cream. Its femme, pretty, girly, and doesnt smell synthetic. Ans you can smell the notes and layers. Its not Blended into a sticky mess that just smells like a non descript perfume. Someone said it smells sad and pretty and I totally get it. The rose note is always a nut sad to me. It smells like a mark ryden painting as a fruity interpretation.

i blind bought this off of amazon for $20 so i didn’t know what to expect really, but wow i just love it. i didn’t like it at first, as it kinda just smelled like a cheap floral scent. when it dried down it smelt SO EXPENSIVE i was so impressed. it’s so light and feminine, but not juvenile or geriatric. i literally sniff my wrist all of the time just to smell it. the only downside is it doesn’t last very long on my skin update: i found that if i spray it on my clothes or hair it lasts ages. one spray on my collar lasted 8+ hours. on my skin it literally lasts >30 mins

A love for me Another blind buy 🙈 - you know how much YT reviews can make you 'need' something 😏 I think this a mix between La Vie est Belle(could also be Black Opium) and a really light dash of CH Good Girl 👠, maybe a tiny bit of Idôle 🤔 The result? - Amazing.. What a beautiful fragrance Edit: Ah turns out after 1 hour it really smells like Good Girl I still love it Edit: I tried it first in the winter. I don't know what happened but I wore it a few days ago, the rose I got from this was amazing, a sweet, slightly fresh rose ❤️

I can't explain this, but I feel like I have rediscovered MY perfume. My nose tells me I know this smell, while my heart tells me this is my favourite. My brain cannot reconcile with the fact that it's the first time I tried it, so I'll just wear it as my favourite perfume. LATER EDIT: I don't feel the same about this perfume. Maybe it has turned, I don't know. The first blast is oh so nice! but that dissipates quickly and the dry down is not quite to my linking. It starts with a garden of flowers and ends with praline.

To me this is a girly feminine daytime fragrance. It smells lightly of rose or florals and has a clean fresh smell with light hints of sweet praline. Its a very pretty smell that I would say is probably a crowd pleaser / blind buy safe if you like florals with crisp clean tones. The lasting power is about 4-5 hours, on me projection is moderate. I would say this is a great fragrance for shopping, church, brunch with the girls, a first date. I think its totally worth the $25 I paid on Amazon!

this literally smells just like good girl. i went to the mall and sprayed good girl bc i have ever smelled it before, and i immediately knew the exact scent which was this. it smells really good, like a fresh floral that dries down to a rosy vanilla! idk if good girl dries down to that creamy scent but the initial sprays smelled so similar. overall i love dirham wardi and i always got compliments on it, and this girl was literally sniffing my neck lol. i suggest it!!

Omg this is the nicest most comforting perfume for everyday. It kinda reminds of me of how you smell after taking a nice hot shower and then being all moisturised up with lotion. I can see why people think this smells like CH Good Girl, however I wouldn’t say it’s a dupe. I actually prefer this over Good Girl. This has quickly become one of my favourites and for £15 you can’t go wrong. Lasting power is about 5-6 hours on me.

This is how a chanel perfume should smell like. Im not a fan of chanel.. the only line i like is the CHANCE line.. and to me, this is even better. It may sound insane, but its true. This perfume is stunning. Its a bit citrucy, floraly and sweet. When you first spray it all you get i alcohol, but when it dryes down.. omg! It has a hint of the good girl DNA but smells nothing like la vie est belle. Def a safe blind buy!

For someone who usually isn't a fan of roses in perfumes, this one really took me by surprise. The scent is so beautiful, soft and feminine but for being an arabic perfume it really doesn't live up to the expectations for being long lasting or having good projection. However - you get a good scent for a good price, it just can't do the job alone but works if you layering it with other perfumes.

I used to just like this but now that I have owned my bottle for over a year I have come to love it. It's a good mix of florals and gourmands that benefits greatly from the patchouli in the base. I don't have that strong alcohol scent anymore when I spray it so the maceration on this one is definitely key. With how cheap it is, if the notes sound good I would absolutely give it a try.

This has become my favorite bed-time scent. It is a creamy (lotiony), powdery(slight), fresh floral that smells clean, yet comforting at the same time. Perfect for slipping into sweet dreams. BONUS: It also opens up in the heat to release a soapy, musky, slightly floral scent. You'll catch whiffs of it if a breeze blows/you move about.

Cheap and cheerful! It does smell quite acrid on initial application, but it fades to a warm, almost gourmand floral after a minute or two. I'd actually say that it's a bit heavy for summer or spring, something about the combination of praline and patchouli makes it smell louder and more autumnal than the notes would suggest.

What a beautiful sofisticated kind of fragrance..i love this so beautiful creamy floral fragrance ..i don't get rose in it ..bt on my skin it smells Creamy fruity white floral fragrance , if u want something subtle for everyday still a sofisticated kind of fragrance ..go for it .. hardly people can dislike this

one of my current fav perfumes. it has a scent of sirap bandung (a malaysian drink) but its soft subtle and inoffensive to the nose. perfect for everyday wear. i work 8 hours a day and it lasts longer than that!!! sillage is moderate. 10/10 would recommend to floral perfume lovers.

Love it. But give it time, it was so weak when I bought it. After 3 months I tried again and it smells exactly like pink soapy flowers. Clean, innofencive, pleasant and girly. Dry down is nice. For the price? Great! I would definitely buy again.

Ok so this is a really beautiful fragrance. Pretty much in the family as Valentino Born in Roma or La vie est Belle. If you like those too, you will love this fragrance. Its definitely on the sweet fruity side. Not my fav, but it's still pretty.

Lovely. It has a sweet, floral opening. As it dries down I get this damp & mossy layer. It has great depth and comes off a little sad and pretty. Reminds me of pouty big-eyed girls who post fawns on twitter.

This is gorgeous 😍 and great value. Love how strong this is and it's a compliment getter/head turner. I see how it could be compared to good girl but after an hour it becomes its own unique fragrance.

Smells identical to Bint Hooran to me but my kids say I smell like a donut. It isn't quite Qimmah but that is because Qimmah is spicier than Bint Hooran. Soap where? Soft girly where? I'm so lost.

It seems the parfumistas smelled only CH Good Girl and they think any other perfume smells the same. How else would you find CH Good Girl comparison on any perfume you check on Fragrantica???

This is a very lovely feminine fragrance. It is very floral, to me it smells like Miss Dior just not as sweet. Despite the Arab branding, it is similar to a French fragrance. A must buy!

At first spray all I got was a basic white floral fragrance, upon it settling on the skin it is VERY similar to LVLB. For a blind buy and the price of this i couldn’t recommend enough.

Very feminine and girlie fragrance, smells clean girl. Good and very versatile. I prefer gourmand fragrances but i liked this one. Price is incredible too

Smells nice like (clean-fresh-night-out) kinda perfume , floral a bit sweet but its super light almost like water lasts less than 30 minutes for sure.

This is nice. I was confused when reviews said this smells like Delina and Good Girl, because to my nose, those two perfumes are worlds apart. However, I can now say I fully agree. I can smell the tart lemony rose from Delina and I can smell the cocoa woodiness from Good Girl. It smells like I layered them. I like this better than Delina because truthfully, it's not a favorite. I also don't love Good Girl either, but I like it better than Delina. I'm not usually fond of tart fragrances, and Delina is too tart for me. However this is a good mix and the tart quality of Delina is toned down with the cream, chocolate-y, woodiness of Good Girl. Very interesting. I get the Dove soap comparison as well, something about these two scent profiles mixed together does give that vibe. Which that's okay for me because I've been getting into creamy lotion/soap scents a bit more lately. I also understand comparisons to Donna Born In Roma Yellow Dream, because it's also tart lemony rose with a super warm, cinnamon-vanilla-woody base. This isn't super loud but I can definitely smell it wafting around me and the longevity isn't horrible. I've gotten at least 4 hours out of it so far. Of course that may change once my nose gets used to smelling it often. I find I have to refresh scents more when I wear them often and go a little noseblind. Overall I think this is better than Delina for those who find it too sharp and tart. I'm not sure yet if I'll repurchase this, but it was a good blind buy and lived up to the reviews. It's definitely a great scent for people who love both Delina and Good Girl, people who like the smell of Dove soap, and people who like Born In Roma Yellow Dream. Edit: It's been 3 days and now this smells mostly like Dove Soap. It kinda reminds me of Sweet Dream by Shakira. It's like a sweet and soapy rose. This smells really good as a fabric spray or room spray too because it smells sweet and clean. Edit 2024: I just want to add that I found a body wash that smells exactly like this perfume. Olay Rose Water and Sweet Nectar. It smells so good it's actually influencing me to possibly repurchase this perfume even though I haven't been because I go noseblind to it too quickly. If this scent had more sillage and lasting power for me beyond the first 5 minutes then it would stay in my collection all the time😭 the scent is so heavenly.

With all of the Ard-Al-Zaafaran fragrances I always have the same problem, love the smell, hate the longevity. This is a pretty daytime, spring crisp rose and pear fragrance which smells like heaven, however, the projection and longevity only last about an hour tops and that’s if we’re being generous. I really want this to last so I’m gonna set this one in a couple of my other ones from this designer aside to let it macerate and see if that improves anything and I’ll update you guys. Update 8/26/24 So after letting it sit almost a month i wore it to test its progress and it’s smoother, more well rounded and it lasted longer I was still smelling this on my clothes until I took my clothes off for bed and I still smell hints of this on my skin.... So we are cooking with gas finally. I’m heading into fall so I’ll be wearing more warmer scents (this is more spring-summer) but at this rate it should be nuclear by spring!!!!❤️❤️❤️

Creamy, floral, fruity with a yummy praline, tonka touch and finishing of woodiness +patchouli that gives it its body ...this layers very well with fragrances that have more depth to them, It has the good girl vibe but not in a major way. Beautiful whilst it lasts... I like this, it’s not gonna last all day and it I can get a little synthetic smelling at times as the bottle gets older ...it’s as though the quality of the perfume in the bottle starts to decline. I owned a previous bottle, decluttered it because it was feeling petrol like after a few months of good wears, then I re purchased it and the magic was there once again in the first sprays on that bottle and still going strong. Well... It could just be my nose or I had initially received a bad batch, who knows? None the less, It’s still so pretty and feminine to wear. Overall this would get a... 6.9 out of ten from me.

It's very strong on the rose and patchouli, which is obvious throughout even with the dry down but I would say the orange blossom, black currant, pear and jasmine follow very closely also I'm not sure if anyone else got it, but I sense some mild powdery notes even though it's not listed. I do think esp when it's dried down and settled on the skin its very patchouli heavy I would not say its an exact dupe for LVB because to my nose I just barely detect the praline and tonka bean and only when it's dried down, but I think this is like a more exotic rose Arabian version of it. for me personally, I think it takes a certain kind of woman to wear this, I think of like a young very fashionable, confident hijabi woman when I think of this perfume never the less I think the price for how long it lasts and how strong this scent is is amazing I got it for only £13 so can't complain

I adore this fragrance: Rose + Praline + the juiciest pear you could imagine + warm vanilla + powdery iris + hints of tonka bean and jasmine. It does share a similar DNA (not a dupe) with Rasasi's Shaghaf femme which I adore, and CH Good Girl which surprisingly I don't care too much for. I bought a 20ml travel size but will not be buying a full bottle because the performance is disappointing- great sillage and projection for 30mins-1hr but poor longevity- 3-4 hrs at most. There are many fragrances inspired by CH Good Girl and this is one of them. For the woman who wants to smell clean and feminine without being smelt by everyone else in the room.

super sweet + some faint white florals in the background but overall reminds me more of ldbs (ive seen the reviews for lattafa ansaam gold tho - if u want a ldbs dupe then go there; dirham wardi is still more floral-based than ldbs' marshmallow on vanilla) than chgg... idk maybe bc of the vanilla drydown but i can def also see the comparison to chgg. i've never had delina but from all the reviews ive heard i think this would be pretty similar. longevity is nice but not amazing ? can't really smell the soapiness everyone else below talks about imo it just came out to be a slightly floral sugar bomb

Smells like the regular Valentino Donna Born in Roma. Upon opening it smells like Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, sharp and kind of chemical-ish. And upon dry down smells more like Born in Roma. I have BOTH Coco mademoiselle and Donna Born in Roma on both arms. And Dirham Wardi smells just like them. Creamy, floral and spicy but not boozy so it's perfect for office and day time. It's clean but not for floral haters. (This scent is relaxing but if you're not into citrus/ florals u might not like this as it has a little citrus kick but not very noticeable..u might not even know it's citrusy)

fresh, clean, soapy rose. I don't understand the comparisons to CHGG, but to me it resembles LVEB. something (maybe the pear?) makes it almost masculine to my nose, which I do enjoy; the freshness of it makes it wearable in warmer weather. performance is average, maybe lasting around 5hrs on me, with surprisingly intimate projection. not super complex but still very pretty, I think this would make a great running-errands scent for the springtime, especially for someone who enjoys fresher florals. I got 100mL for ~$25, so honestly it's a great deal. 6/10

I find this one strangely addicting, it’s grown into a love for me. It’s a “clean girl” scent that’s sweet and pretty, rather than being very fresh or musky if that makes sense? I get a lot of pear, a little rose and orange blossom, powdery iris, a hint of praline and tonka for sweetness. It’s not cloying or too mature, the florals and sweetness are well balanced for me. I get the CH good girl comparison, but I much prefer this one. I find good girl - dare I say - a little generic, but this is much more interesting. Another cheapie gem.

suuuuuper fresh, clean scent. definitely agree with the Rose Dove soap comparison, but with an added citrusy sweetness. i sprayed it on a swatch to test and thought, “huh, it smells like Good Girl’s cousin,” but that fades quickly into a fresh, modern rose. it’s really quite lovely and inoffensive. if you like fresh out of the shower scents, it would be worth purchasing a sample. 8/10, probably won’t use it up enough to consider buying again, but it’s a really good freshie.

I don’t understand why people compared to Carolina Herrera very good girl. Because I smell that one and it smells nothing like it. This is more like a creamy rose soapy kind of scent is suited more for hot days and I would say spring and summer to me. You definitely can spell the rose. It smells a little cheap, but I mean for the price can’t go wrong. It’s not a bad scent. It’s just if you’re looking for that creamy soapy rose kind of fragrance and this will be it.
