Dirham

Dirham is a beautiful, simple fragrance that gets better and better as it macerates. The harsh synthetics seem to dissipate with time. Initially I was disappointed that the opening was so abrasive, but after a few minutes it became more pleasing. Months later I came back to test for changes and I can say it's a fragrance I have to sniff over and over through a wearing. The florals are "wearable" for a sigma male like myself. I have nothing in my collection that nears its scent profile. (I've heard I may enjoy exploring more oriental Frags). My only complaint for Dirham would be in regards to its performance. It lasts for many hours, but is not much above a skin scent after a little less than 2 (on my skin). Other than that, I'd gladly repurchase it~

Dirham is a very pleasant , light but very noticeable, fresh , citrusy, soapy and floral scent. its perfect for summertime especially here in Karachi, Pakistan during May June July ... While some compare it to other high-end fragrances, this perfume occupies a unique space in my collection. Its scent is unlike anything else I own. I have been using it for years now and never get bored of it. I use it fresh out of the shower on my skin and I am done for the day. This perfume offers incredible value. The affordability allows me to be more liberal with how much I use, making it a real pleasure.

A softer more skin scent with lots of citrus and floral. For the price, great to use under other inspired by. Decent longevity, but we feel it becomes a skin scent quicker than some of the other inspired by. For the price, great for layering or if you'll be in a crowded place where you don't want to offend with your scent but still smell clean and fresh. Great inexpensive blind buy.

nice fresh scent for on the go, i use it when i go to the gym or when going to the corner shop projects nicely however doesn't last very long but don't expect it to because of the super low price tag sweet oriental spiced rose scent 8/10

White flower, fruity cheapie! This is a pleasant find; it was on clearance when I got it, and I paid around 10USD for a 2-pcs set after tax. It seems that one could acquire this ~ 15USD however, and I am going to preface this review emphasizing its price. It starts off bitter and sharp, possibly from synthetic lavender and jasmine which soon dies down around minutes to unfold gorgeous blend of lavender, jasmine and rose. The rose used here adds more of a fruity sweetness than flowery aspects. Jasmine is the most dominant, and it is bordering slightly towards indolic side which I could see why this fragrance can be divisive especially for the guys. I could see the resemblance of this to MYSLF surprisingly, as well as Reflection Man, although their ingredients' quality way surpass Ard Al Zaafaran. But we also know that you'd have to pay 5x-10x the price of this for the same size. Nikos Sculpture, a wonderful cheapie is also in the vein of this. In terms of sweetness, this is slightly sweeter than Reflection Man, but drier than MYSLF. I believe this smells more expensive than what it costs, and this would be one's dumb reach fragrance.

Very fresh and very clean. Smells like an after-effect of an intense laundry day due to it's sharp detergent opening smell. It softens into a jasmine and lavender note for me. I find this pleasing and I look forward to topping up this perfume all the time. It is quite lasting and a crowd pleaser as I do get commented on this scent. A successful blind buy for me. A good gift for those are not into floral/sweet scent.

I've had Dirham since 2018 and wear it occasionally. I'm very familiar with it. Went to work today and detected it on someone else. I asked if they were wearing Dirham to discover that they were wearing JPG Scandal. Scandal and Dirham share no notes as far as I know, cannot be compared and are described quite differently but nevertheless at least on the air they smell extremely close to me.

A very affordable, safe choice for daytime wear in the spring or summer. A strong citrus opening lets in a dominant rose with jasmine and lavender. Performance may not seem the best but Dirham is one of those that periodically returns through the day as you're moving around. You can't complain for the price; the male flankers are also worth checking out.

some say its like after laundry and some like hand sanitizer, for me i can get the after laundry, cuddly smell. i also see the hand sanitizer being what people noticed probably bcuz of the citrus freshness (also the citrus is almost non existence so its just fresh) . this thing cant perform. on my skin it lasts max of 2 hours, no sillage and projection. i see this as a body smell like applying right after shower. Safe blind buy? if u like that hospital freshness vibe, but personally just stay away from this. IDK if this have the resemblence to YSL myself EDP bcuz ive never smelled that but the notes and reviews from others say it is quite similar. just this is difference added rose note.

I have Dirham in the card like pocket spray and I’m thankful I didn’t get the full bottle. It starts sharp and very chemical, not the usual nowadays synthetic, even more harsh. The citrus then shows up and it’s not the juicy zesty refreshing type, but more like dried dusty peels that feel rather warm and plastiky. The lavender is stronger than the other florals on my skin so it leans more masculine. There is a mild band-aidy undertone in the base that is not very appealing to be honest. Thankfully it is not a beast as other Arabic perfumes as it is so meh 🫤 on my skin.

It's a decent citrus floral scent, a bit on the boring side. May be a good beginner's scent since it's cheap, versatile and workplace safe. Sadly for an Ard al Zafaran scent it's one of the weaker offerings. It almost reached 3 hours on my skin, barely projected at all. It's the resident room and toilet spray in my bedroom.

Floral jasmine heavily leaning feminine. Low performance, it goes to skin scent in 30 minutes. No sillage. Save your money unless you are a jasmin fetishist.

I brought a 50ml bottle of it, it is a complete loss for me. It doesn't stay properly 10 minutes, within 5 minutes or less I cannot smell it anymore. Smell is nice and fresh though. But one of the weakest perfume.

I have the old, silver flat looking bottle which has way more rose and floral notes Took me some time to figure out this scent, 1) Versace Dreamer accord: Coumarin, White musk, damascenone, alpha isomethyl ionone, bergamot, helional, dihydromyrcenol, rose/geranium, lavender 2) black aoud Montale Rose Musk, patchouli, rose otto heavy replace patchouli with Iso E super and ambrox, and some vetiver. 2) Laundry detergent accord benzyl salicylate, coumarin, alpha methyl ionone, florol, PEA, ambrox, linalool, hexyl cinnamic aldehyde Fill it out with ambroxan, white musk, benzyl sal, hedione, Iso E super, Cashmeran there is this clean accord that comes from rose , tonka, musk, and lily of the valley, which is unreal just smells so gooooood

Just picked up Dirham by Ard Al Zaafaran last week and honestly? For under $15, this is a steal. Smells like fresh laundry mixed with rose and cardamom – super clean and perfect for Karachi summers. Lasts about 3-4 hours on me which is decent for a freshie. The bottle feels way more expensive than it is. If you're in Pakistan, Mist Fragrance has it in stock with fast delivery. Great blind buy for anyone wanting a cheap daily fresh scent!

It's a very low level citrus-floral-woody chemical mess. I expected a pleasant-fresh, citrusy spring-summer scent, but this is boring, generic, sharp and stabbing. Bad like hell. One of the worst from Zaafaran. Nothing to do with Reflection Man! Strongly NOT recommended!
