Shafaq

This is the perfect blend of fruity and floral to me, and absolutely a more mature version of Yara Pink. Yara Pink comes off as one of those clones that’d be sold in a cheap young adult clothing store in the mall like Rue 21, Charlotte Rouse, or Aeropostale. It has this early 2000’s youthful body spray essence that VS and BBBW have since done away with. Anyways~ Shafaq doesn’t have that tinge. Reminds me of bright pink fruit like strawberries and dragonfruit and cherry jolly ranchers. Strawberry blowpops with a subtle orchid and vanilla floral note to lighten and make it more graceful. Strawberry milkshake with rose water. This scent is juicy and mouthwatering and so different than my usual that I’ve started looking for others that resemble it. Lovely. And pairs quite nicely with the Yara Pink roll on oil, which boosts its staying power from 4-6 hours to 6-10.

Shafaq is literally identical to Lattafa Yara, but performs a bit better. Yara definitely does get stronger over time, though! I also have the Ard Al Zaafaran “Yara” roller perfume ball (which confusingly looks like a roller of Lataffa’s Yara, with the pink label) The roller longevity is longer than Yara, but less than Shafaq. Even though I have so many perfumes I feel passionate about, and I’d just call this a “like,” I do catch myself reaching for it constantly, especially out of the shower in warmer weather. It’s completely inoffensive, fresh, and a yummy no-brainer. I like that I can put something else over it in an hour or two when I decide what I’m actually in the mood for today. People love picking on Yara/Shafaq, cuz yes, she’s the pretty girl, but c’mon. This is LOVELY and if you don’t like her, your nose/ego is broken.

Absolutely love this! I'm Arab and live in the Middle East and no one really buys these perfumes here, we assume they're bad so I've overlooked the Arab fragrances TikTok hype. Tried a couple of Lattafa ones and hated them but I was tempted with the notes on this one. Gotta say it was a lovely surprise! This is a great sweet creamy nutty citrusy scent. Very crowd pleasing and a safe blind buy for sure. Great quality and lasting power especially considering how cheap it is, nothing revolutionary but it's defo on par if not better than some of the designer fragrances out there. Been loving using this out of the shower and when I'm out and about in the daytime. I'd say don't expect the world from perfumes like this, it costs less than $10 (for me at least) so spray generously and enjoy it for what it is!

Delicious, really. A little less fruity version of Yara, that is also true. The generic 'tropical' vibe is actually just orchid-coconut, nothing you would perceive as actually fruity or very floral. The whole composition is fluffy, lotion-y, slightly lactonic with this abstract tropical vibe, but without being like a suntan lotion - it is just like a gourmand-ish, but non-edible, addictive-smelling body cream. Not heavy, not too sweet, not too girly, not really sexy, but definitely feminine. Shafaq is unique, but comforting and very crowd-pleasing at the same time with good quality (moderate projection and 6 hours longevity on my dry skin). It makes me feel like waking up for a promising day that is supposed to be relaxing and fun enough, and how could I not love that?

Shafaq is like Yara Pink's close sister, and I LOVE it! I can smell the beautiful floral scents of the heliotrope and orchid, as well as the fruity tangerine, rounded out by the warm, creamy vanilla and coconut. As the perfume dries down, I smell the pleasant light cedar come through, as well as the almond note. This is such a lovely sweet, creamy, floral feminine scent; it's close enough to Yara where if you like Yara, Shafaq would be a safe blind buy, but it has enough of a difference where if you already own Yara, you could also buy Shafaq and it wouldn't be horribly redundant.
