Shafaq

This is the perfect blend of fruity and floral to me, and absolutely a more mature version of Yara Pink. Yara Pink comes off as one of those clones that’d be sold in a cheap young adult clothing store in the mall like Rue 21, Charlotte Rouse, or Aeropostale. It has this early 2000’s youthful body spray essence that VS and BBBW have since done away with. Anyways~ Shafaq doesn’t have that tinge. Reminds me of bright pink fruit like strawberries and dragonfruit and cherry jolly ranchers. Strawberry blowpops with a subtle orchid and vanilla floral note to lighten and make it more graceful. Strawberry milkshake with rose water. This scent is juicy and mouthwatering and so different than my usual that I’ve started looking for others that resemble it. Lovely. And pairs quite nicely with the Yara Pink roll on oil, which boosts its staying power from 4-6 hours to 6-10.

Shafaq is literally identical to Lattafa Yara, but performs a bit better. Yara definitely does get stronger over time, though! I also have the Ard Al Zaafaran “Yara” roller perfume ball (which confusingly looks like a roller of Lataffa’s Yara, with the pink label) The roller longevity is longer than Yara, but less than Shafaq. Even though I have so many perfumes I feel passionate about, and I’d just call this a “like,” I do catch myself reaching for it constantly, especially out of the shower in warmer weather. It’s completely inoffensive, fresh, and a yummy no-brainer. I like that I can put something else over it in an hour or two when I decide what I’m actually in the mood for today. People love picking on Yara/Shafaq, cuz yes, she’s the pretty girl, but c’mon. This is LOVELY and if you don’t like her, your nose/ego is broken.

Absolutely love this! I'm Arab and live in the Middle East and no one really buys these perfumes here, we assume they're bad so I've overlooked the Arab fragrances TikTok hype. Tried a couple of Lattafa ones and hated them but I was tempted with the notes on this one. Gotta say it was a lovely surprise! This is a great sweet creamy nutty citrusy scent. Very crowd pleasing and a safe blind buy for sure. Great quality and lasting power especially considering how cheap it is, nothing revolutionary but it's defo on par if not better than some of the designer fragrances out there. Been loving using this out of the shower and when I'm out and about in the daytime. I'd say don't expect the world from perfumes like this, it costs less than $10 (for me at least) so spray generously and enjoy it for what it is!

Delicious, really. A little less fruity version of Yara, that is also true. The generic 'tropical' vibe is actually just orchid-coconut, nothing you would perceive as actually fruity or very floral. The whole composition is fluffy, lotion-y, slightly lactonic with this abstract tropical vibe, but without being like a suntan lotion - it is just like a gourmand-ish, but non-edible, addictive-smelling body cream. Not heavy, not too sweet, not too girly, not really sexy, but definitely feminine. Shafaq is unique, but comforting and very crowd-pleasing at the same time with good quality (moderate projection and 6 hours longevity on my dry skin). It makes me feel like waking up for a promising day that is supposed to be relaxing and fun enough, and how could I not love that?

Shafaq is like Yara Pink's close sister, and I LOVE it! I can smell the beautiful floral scents of the heliotrope and orchid, as well as the fruity tangerine, rounded out by the warm, creamy vanilla and coconut. As the perfume dries down, I smell the pleasant light cedar come through, as well as the almond note. This is such a lovely sweet, creamy, floral feminine scent; it's close enough to Yara where if you like Yara, Shafaq would be a safe blind buy, but it has enough of a difference where if you already own Yara, you could also buy Shafaq and it wouldn't be horribly redundant.

I bought this after seeing this being raved about on TikTok and YouTube as a better version of Yara, some even said it's a dupe of Rojas Brittania. Guys this is a lot like Yara, the only difference is this has a tangerine note in place of the strawberry note in Yara. I won't complain as I love in a tropical country though it sits very close to the skin but I remember Yara was also like this when I just got it. Hopefully it develops into more as it macerate. I'll write an update in about a month from now.

I love this girl down! I didn't even know I was a coconut girlie til recently. She is a floral beautiful. I wear this to bed now b/c it's too cold for her to shine but it lasts til the morning wonderfully. Also, I want to see if the sillage punches up and gets stronger so I hope to encourage that maturation process. The scent trail on a spring day will be wild! Moderate projection but lasting. An extremely pleasant scent that I cannot wait to wear. In my repurchase list for sure!

Yara and Shafaq share a strikingly similar scent profile, yet each offers a unique twist. While Yara leans toward a creamier, more indulgent composition, Shafaq introduces a balance with its prominent almond and cedar notes, which add a subtle warmth and earthiness. This contrast makes Shafaq feel slightly more refined and less intense, which is why I find it preferable. For those who appreciate a softer, less creamy finish, Shafaq might offer a more balanced alternative to Yara.

When I checked this one on Fragrantica, the first similar perfume to show up was Brazilian Crush 62, and seeing that, I instantly bought this one. Mind you, I already have two Lattafa yara clones in my collection, and I was extremely disappointed to find this one is 95% Lattafa Yara. I was expecting a warmer, denser, gourmand perfume, closer to Brazilian Crush 62. You def don't need both Yara and this one. Great perfume though.

Just stopping by to say that if you enjoy this try layering it with Yara’s roll on oil for longevity and Mix:Bar Whipped Almond for a deeper cream heart/base. Or if you want more tropics go for Pacifica’s Indian Coconut Nectar. So good.

My God, this stuff is amazing. And considering the o.g that this clone (is wiping the floor with might I add) imitating is priced well above and beyond 1500 bux in some cases, this can't be beat. Awesome stuff definitely a signature

Absolutely beautiful scent. I was not a fan of Yara. This is very similar but smoother and less musky. Great for every day wear and layering. This is more serious than yara.

This is every vanilla ice cream you have smell. Exactly like any of them.

This is a really pretty, warm, sweet fragrance. Initially I can smell citrus and a hint of floral, but the coconut, almond, and vanilla come forward on my skin soon after and hold on for the dry down. It's a really nice, inoffensive fragrance with a more intimate scent cloud. I typically wear 2 sprays and my mom had to come within arm's length to smell it. It you like cozy, sweet scents, give it a try! It's amazing for layering too. It plays nicely with so many fragrances and will tone down any harsh notes. It's very mellow. BTW it's very similar to Yara. If you have that one you probably don't need this one and vice-versa.

This smells so similar to Yara. There is a slight difference but the overall scent is the same. You do not need both. I also find this to have a similar feel to Nuha, but closer to Yara. I used this during a weekend away and could still smell it in me at the end of the night and even upon waking the next morning.

similar to yara from lattafa 🥰 i didn't get the coconut but it gives tropical vibes sweet milkshake smell if you're into gourmand perfumes , you can blind buy it!

This is like Pepe Jeans For Her London, but with weaker performance. A lovely scent on its own, makes me smile. Would love it if it lasted longer.

It's an ok smelling perfume, leans a bit feminine tho. Opening is for me a bit nauseating and can be a pit potent and sharp in my opinion but maybe it will get better if macerated. I haven't seen anyone comparing it to Zara's Cocoa Sunset but it's almost the same but this one is a bit more musk and Cocoa Sunset from Zara is more floral but almost identical!!!! I would suggest Cocoa Sunset as the better alternative

I understand the yara pink and yara tous resemblence. This doesnt smell like yara pink to me. But it reminds me of yara and Also quaed al fursan from lattafa. This is good for the Price. Will Update if this gets better with maceration. Not crazy projection though.

Now that this has macerated for a year or so, this is Yara but sol de janeiro at the same time! Like the best of both in a Way. Very powder and fluffy sweetness.

Hey hey people, If you bought this perfume thinking it's a niche banger and gourmand - sorry to disappoint you. This is another: - Yara by Lattafa - Pepe Jeans for Her. - Katy Perry Meow - Ariana Grande Candy - Cacharel Yes I Am - **Viva La Juicy.** From opening to dry-down Shafaq is the Viva La Juicy DNA. I wish I could tell you more but if you've smelled Yara or Pepe Jeans or Candy, it's the exact same thing. No need to weave poetic. Performance is OK, this is stronger than Candy, Viva La Juicy and Meow but weaker than Yara.

I wanted to love this so bad! I do get a slight hint of vanilla, but mostly plastic and a chemical stench.

I feel like Shawadii (review below mine) may be reviewing an entirely different perfume than this one 🤔 ... What I get is a sweet tangerine-peach & vanilla kind of blast at first. Very nice scent! 😍 ... it soon does die down to be closer to the skin. I wish this projected like a BEAST! But it is still beautiful and pleasant nonetheless. The coconut does seem to be present, making this feel a little like a tropical (coconut) peaches (& tangerine) cream scent. 😋 I can not specifically pick out the almond, and the florals & cedar only seem to be giving this fragrance some more substance, while keeping it fresh. I also have Yara Moi (Peaches & Cream fragrance w/ coconut) to compare but that one is more powdery - still creamy though*, where this one is not really powdery. I can smell more of the tangerine in this when comparing the 2 side-by-side, giving this one more brightness. Yara Moi has musk, where this one does not. Similar vibes for sure. But not dupes.

I bought Shafaq because I loved Yara and because of the bottle. They're very very similar but Yara is more powdery and the strawberry note stands out. Shafaq has a stronger citrus note and the caramel is more prominent which I don't enjoy that much as I it gives me a more juvenile feeling making it sweeter than Yara. Yara lasts a long time on my skin and I prefer it better as I find it more delicate and addictive. Shafaq is a beautiful fragrance but to my nose, it smells like a teenager's perfume with really good performance. If you're a gourmand person, you'll definitely like this scent.

It's a nice scent, vanilla, slightly gourmad. Very similar to Yara. Doesn't last that long though. I also felt the coconut note. I'm not a big fun of coconut scents but it's not too overpowering. It'd say it's a safe blind buy if you don't like loud and strong scents Update : It lastsssss. It just needed proper maceration. I've had it the whole day and I still smell it at night. And it smells so good. Definitely gets better with time. I've had it for about an year

I agree with the last review, it is almost identical to Yara. I like this one better because it’s in a glass bottle. Sometimes I get a weird smell from Yara and I think it’s because of the plastic packaging it’s in.

starts of like a spicy redbull for the first spray. gets more powdery & floral and the dry down (3-6 hours in) smells kinda like white chocolate. last all day!! really a bright & warm seductive fragrance.

95% similar to yara by lattafa but longer lasting . I prefer yara because this doesnt have that fluffy powdery musk i get in yara
