By the Kaaba

I've been looking for a fragrance that can step in the ring with Faith by Boadicea, duke it out and have BOTH of their hands raised in victory at the end... enter By the Kaaba Areej Le Dore the great luxury artisan house by Russian Adam that often scores the most raw and natural ingredients for perfumery you could find that he curates in a way to bring forth literal works of art. This in particular, at first was a bit difficult for me to describe because I imagined the intention set by the composition is how this fragrances behaves. Though I've yet to go on umrah or hajj I could vision being transported somewhere where all of these fragrant elements are surrounding you seemingly in unison and pairing that will the spiritual connotation will give you this kind of amalgamation created here. This is like bliss in a bottle. The aromatic nature of it with the incense and florals create a feeling of serenity. The taif stands out as I've now developed my nose to differentiate various types of rose. The oud here isn't necessarily animalic, barnyardy or medicinal, many ouds out there are and some are not. The ouds used give it a presence and depth making it quite balsamic and resinous throughout in combination with the musk and ambergris. I've layered both the tola oil with the spray in each wearing I've had so far. I caught wafts of this on a breezy evening out and was completely mesmerized. Masterful composition

This is simply stunning!!!!!!! Deep, rich, intimate and exotic. The florals are lush, vibrant. its also something green woody and fresh here. A bit of an earthiness. The oud is noticeably underpinning the scent and its amazing nothing harsh, "barnyardy" or any descriptive synonymous with oud causals. The profile in feel is very balsamic like mentioned below quite resinous but not overly, trust its an experience... everything included in this fragrance has subtly. Definitely one of the most wearable offerings I've tried from the brand. On my skin the longevity and projection is be pretty good but personally I rarely have issues with that. This is the kind of stuff I search for high and low, an uncloneable fragrance.

This is the best fragrance I’ve ever smelled. I really want to try the older stuff from areej but it’s sold out. Looking forward to the future releases

So i was mesmerised by the blissful scents u smell wen u are around kaaba in close proximity and always wondered if i could ever get an attar or perfume resembling that fargrance. And lemme tell u they spary one more perfumen in safa marwah too. Which is different but again out of this world. I asked a lot of people in the market around haram and eblverybody claimed to have that same scent but nothing 50% even close to the same. Then came all the social media posts of the gates of kaaba and i was so sure that since its russian adam, i can rely on his expertise. I made somone buy it in duabai beauty world. I was so desparate for that kaaba scent that i blindly bought it. Its the most expensive perfume i have. I was a bit underwhelmed. I think the perfume they used to use some years ago wen russian adam was there maybe different from what i smelled in 2025. The oud is very weak here. Rose, amber and incense is all.i can smell here. And thats the main difference in the scent of actual kaaba. Now i am hunting for a good oud perfume for layering and maybe i can get that resemblance. Performance was also average. I have smelled areej le dores other fragrances at vivace perfumes amd they are commendable. But my most expensive fragrance is underwhelming. I even had a small telecon with him at the show through the fren whom i had semt to buy for me. So was super excited to receive it but that excitement was aubdued after receiving it.

I heard they're working on "By the Vatican" next.
