Bacio Immortale

This is such a great leather-fragrance. You don't get this boring farty-leather, because the fruity notes like bergamot, lemon and raspberry adds so much liveliness and freshness to the scent. The same should be said for the birch which is doing a very good job of supporting the leather leather both in body and mid. It's a leather-heavy scent and Argos knows this, so they've added a lot of notes that complement and support the leather, so it doesn't end up like a linear leather. To compare it to something people know, I'd say this is a bit more lively and bright than Tuscan Leather. If Tuscan Leather was a glass of Ardbeg in a cigar lounge, Bacio Immortale is that same cigar lounge but with a zesty cocktail. Both a great choices for a night out, but they carry different expressions. Bacio Immortale is a lot brighter without losing any of the depth of the leather. Absolutely great fragrance if you love leather . As much as I love the opening, the dry-down is what's really interesting to me, as the dry birch is mixing with citrus fruits, florals and it just has this "dry but juicy" feel to it, like when biting into a wedge of mandarin - dry on the outside but then bursting with a fresh juiciness. I personally, if I had a friend who would like to delve into what leather fragrances is, I'd start by introducing them to something similar to this. I'm still a pretty new frag head; I just got into this hobby a couple months ago or so. I saw Argos Fall of Phaeton in an Eau de Jarino YouTube video, and was impressed with the bottle. I looked up their website, and ordered the sample pack. I went through the sample pack and tried them, and Bacio Immortale was my favorite one, so that's the one that I've ordered a full bottle so far. I know now that Bacio Immortale is almost identical to Tom Ford Tuscan Leather, but I didn't know that at the time. I've sampled Tuscan Leather since then, and I do think they are almost the same. That doesn't take anything away from Bacio Immortale for me, since Tuscan Leather is way more expensive. The main scents that I notice in Bacio Immortale are sweet, tart raspberry, rich leather and pink peppercorn and some oud. The name, Bacio Immortale means "Immortal Kiss" and the nice box has a whole story about how it's inspired by the myth of Cupid. The bottle is gorgeous, and I just love the scent. It's summer here, and pretty hot, but I work in an air conditioned office, so I've been layering it with lighter summer fragrances like Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau Paradise Garden or Louis Vuitton Pacific Chill, and sometimes adding a spray of something feminine, like Louis Vuitton Attrape-Reves. I think it really makes the more masculine fragrances pop.

Recently obtained a sample and it reminds me of Frapin's Checkmate in the dry down. The floral (prominent violet - but more like a powdery iris and not too sweet), fresh woods and delicate leather are beautifully blended. I would not describe this as a heavy leather or tar like fragrance at all - it's more a floral-wood, and more traditionally 'masculine' leaning. Also i'm getting a dry, stone-like 'mineral quality'... definitely a bit more going on here than the notes imply. Although the initial projection was weaker than others from the house (i have the sample pack) - it's longevity is very good and keeps rising and floating.

Was never huge into leather fragrances, but I got the Argos sample pack after I already found out what Trihmph of Bacchus Extrait was and when I smelled Bacio Imortale, I immediately said, WOW. (Same thing with Fall of Phateon, Danae and sacred flame) but this was different. Something I haven’t experienced before a pleasing, sweetness with leather a note I previously did not like. But this. A truly creatively balanced and well blended fragrance. This one is fantastic for events, formal or casual or a dates with the miss(es).

I mean yeah the Tuscan Leather comparison is certainly there but it is not a 1 to 1 at all. Tuscan Leather to me was always a very dark leather scent and the raspberry note was barely noticeable like a very very faint sweet note to the dry pungent leather, but Bacio has a VERY noticeable and strong berry opening that persists for a good or so before then fading to a Tuscan-esc leather. Personally I think Bacio is a more interesting, similar performing, and actually cheaper scent if you look more than a minute. Not bad

This is a comment from after the reformulation, right off the bat this is one of those that heavily changes depending on different skins. For me this is a raspberry leather with slight smokiness. The rest only comes out after the dry down and it is very faint. This also leans more fresh, but more so a colder season freshy so I’d wear this after new years to later spring. Performance is good and projection is good, nothing nuclear but good enough

Ok this was not love at first sniff I believe I was a little disappointed at the opening, the Raspberry was kinda off putting so I let it sit for some days then its like the mix finally came together or at least the raspberry finally became ripe lol because now IM IN LOVE and its so addicting I cant get enough and surprisingly it layers extremely well with other frags. I love when my disappointment turns into Excitement

This is heaven in a bottle. The quality is just unsurpassed. It's quite fruity and floral. I do not see the comparison to Tuscan Leather, at all. It's expensive but smells much more expensive than it is.

This is one my most complimented fragrances

So much better than Godolphin Bacio Immortale is yet another fragrance inspired by Tuscan Leather and it does a good job at replicating it with a slight twist. During the opening the citruses are pretty noticeable and, paired with the raspberry note, they give me a lemon popsicle kind of vibe. I'm nose blind to this scent because its sillage was extremely light from the moment I put it on, but my mom told me it wasn't at all and that she could smell it clearly coming off me. All this to say the popsicle vibe I get during the opening might not be a thing others pick up on. After about an hour and a half the citruses are completely gone and you're left with the classic raspberry and leather combo from Tuscan Leather's DNA. Bacio Immortale leans into the raspberry more than the Tom Ford, but it's undoubtedly in the same vein. There's also a slight woodiness here that's missing in Tuscan Leather, or at least I don't remember smelling in the Tom Ford. Overall a great dupe of Tuscan Leather and certainly miles ahead of Godolphin and its burning weed skin scent. Performance is good overall. Projection is moderate, sillage was very light to me as I explained, but I could still catch whiffs of this for several hours without a problem. Longevity is great as it has reached 8 hours on skin without a problem. I'll give this another test in about a week or so to rule out nose blindness from trying multiple Argos back to back or to see if I'm naturally nose blind to Bacio Immortale specifically.

Perhaps I'm missing something here but this perfume is not a direct clone of Tuscan Leather. To look at the notes in my carded sample, you'd think it was and then coming here and seeing swathes of smells likes, I'm just not feeling that way. The fundemntal things which make tuscan leather are in fact a sort of rough sawn woody, sandalwood base which this simply doesn't possess. Some fleeting association this does have a rspberry note (if you must) a leather accord of sorts and a dry, smoked birch airy ambrox effect effect but the metallic spikes and sour citrus give this a whole different dimension. This has more incommon with Aventus than it does Tuscan leather. To be honest it reminds me much more of a Xerjoff (name escapes me) a Memo (name escapes me.... albeit something leather.... not that that would narrow it down...lol) and finally one I can actually name Rasai Ambergris Showers. I didn't hate this either but it felt a little more redundant as if chasing hints of hit perfumes here and there but ultimately coming out with something different but still derivative feeling. It's alright.

I adore this. Got a new bottle recently and found it very raspberry forward and floral. It dries down to a more balanced, musky leather, but on some people may be a bit sweet. As a man I do wish the raspberry wasn’t quite so strong, but the pink pepper, oud, and leather do a wonderful job of keeping it from being overtly feminine. Definitely unisex imo. Great lasting power on the skin, sillage will taper down around the three hour mark. The bergamot is such a nice addition to the raspberry, and the scent is balanced enough to make this appropriate for a date, office, daily wear, etc. You will have no complaints about this. No one is going to smell you from across the room, but people that come close by will ask what I’m wearing which is nice. This is my husband’s favorite on me.

First of all, this bottle is overpriced. It costs more than it should, but I can say the same about Creed and most fragrance houses. This is not a defense of the price, just an observation. I really like this fragrance, and aside from the price there isn't much I can knock. It's got a very effervescent quality with citruses that are very well balanced with a darker oud and leather vibe. It isn't offensively done either way, and it lends itself to being something daring without being annoyingly so. It's not overly loud as well, but does last a good amount of time. I wouldn't say it's really close to Tuscan leather, I do enjoy that fragrance, but I find this to have a different vibe to it. It's certainly enjoyable, and if you have the cash I would pick it up or sample it.

A birchtar-leather fragrance balanced between the sweet, sparkling raspberry/citrus and a bit of the darker quality of soft oud. This is something that doesn't feel too unique, but it certainly is classy and extremely pleasant. I would say that this is fairly unisex due to the inclusion of brighter raspberry, jasmine, and iris notes, but still has a slight masculine lean overall. If it seems up your alley, get samples of it and other perfumes that are similar to it as you might find one meeting these same qualia but at a fraction of the cost. 8.5/10

A more fruity/floral version of Tuscan Leather. It reminds me of Oud Saphir as well. It's nice, I like it a lot and longevity is great on me but like Triumph of Bacchus, it lacks originality for the price. If on budget, I'd go with La Yuqawam pour homme. The bottle is even nicer and less gimmicky for a quarter of the price. If money is not a problem and TL is nice but too harsh for you then it's a very good option. A better option than Oud Saphir since Bacio Immortale has better longevity. My favorite from this house ⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5

First off I'll address the Ombre Leather dupe, having smelt both of these with a couple of hours of each other I can testify to the similarity of DNA but there's one I'd wear & one that I wouldn't go anywhere near! Ol is too much Leather for me whereas I'd say BI was more sweet with a hint of leather & much more to my tastes. If I was given this I wouldn't be disappointed but I also wouldn't run out & buy it, too many fragrances in front of it but there really is nothing in my collection that smells like this.

A cool scent, I tried like 50 scents at this niche scent shop.. and this was the finalist. I wanted something fresh and unique I could wear for the spring/summer and this was the winner. A little sweet, so sometimes I switch it up on the day to day. Just smelled it next to Ombre Nomade, due to a comment down below... close ... Ombre nomade smells a little more smooth. This one has a little bit of a tang to it... easier to wear on warmer days than ombre Nomade...

That raspberry really comes through right from the top - I wasn’t expecting it, and it’s a pleasant surprise. To my nose, this wears very similar to Tuscan Leather/Ombre Leather. While I really enjoy it, I find myself craving a more pronounced leather note. I get a strong raspberry for an hour, that dries down to a very suble leather and musk with soft florals. While it's excellent, I was expecting slightly more.

Not a fan of this. It doesn't smell offensive. On the contrary, I'll recommend this to someone trying to get into leather fragrances. In my opinion, Argos fragrances are created to be mass appealing and not like a lot of niche fragrances that are rather challenging to wear. I get 3-4 hours wear from this and it sits close to the skin. ETA this shines in cooler weather

One of the best leather frags that I've smelled. The opening is a fruity bomb that quickly settles into a more agreeable Tuscan Leather. Not as loud and much smoother. The raspberry and sweetness compliment the rich leather notes well into complete drydown.

I own a full bottle of this fragrance, The first ressemblance I got wasn’t Tuscan Leather, but ombre nomade. To me, this smells like ombre nomade but fresher and with a slight metallic hint

It is also not a fragrance I would recommend for the office environment, as its opulent and rich nature would likely prove too distracting. Blind Buy: This is straightforward: if you are a confirmed admirer of Tuscan Leather, Bacio Immortale represents a very safe blind buy for you. Final Verdict: The most accurate way to describe Bacio Immortale is to call it Argos Fragrance's well-executed interpretation of Tuscan Leather. From the opening through the dry down, the scent profile is undeniably similar, differentiated only by a few nuanced tweaks. Even the performance is comparable to Tuscan Leather, though the latter does sustain its presence for a couple of hours longer. However, here is the crucial point: Tuscan Leather commands a price tag that is a whole $200 higher than Bacio Immortale. Given their exceptional similarity in scent profile, I contend that Bacio Immortale is the superior purchase. While you may forfeit a couple of hours of longevity with the Argos, this is hardly worth a $200 price disparity, and I would even argue that the scent profile of Bacio Immortale is a bit more nuanced and engaging than Tuscan Leather's. Right out of the gate this one is spicy. It immediately makes my eyes want to water. I don’t dig the pepper and lemon combo working together to assault my senses. This scent is just way too synthetic for me and feels like a mash of too much. Even the sillage is minimal. Personally, I can't see this fragrance getting better as it dries further. I don’t think I’ll be reaching for this again. 3.2/5

I don’t get the Argos hype. I believe that is all it is. All his scents I’ve sampled I smell and say” hey this smells just like ...” with most comparisons being something I had during my trip down the clone and dupe road. Bacio smells like Galatea from MA. Also a little Tuscano Leather. I have not sniffed one Argos that wowed me yet.

Smells like cough syrup. Argos was pushed hard by all the YouTube influencers at the exact same time. It’s called Free Bottle Brigade. All Argos fragrances are overhyped that are all a notes mess.

Bacio Immortale is the second fragrance I’ve tried from the house of Argos, and another let down yet again. This is a blatant copy of Tuscan Leather - which is a scent I find repulsive. The overwhelmingly sweet raspberry alongside that thick, heady leather accord is well known in the fragrance community as a ‘love it or hate it’ combination. For me, I can’t stand it. I appreciate Tuscan Leather is massively popular and a cultural classic, but this is just a basic clone with little to nothing of worth being added. Overall this is a boring, sickly scent which simply isn’t nice in my eyes. If you’re a lover of Tuscan Leather you’ll likely enjoy this, but if that’s the case you might as well just get Tuscan Leather.

This scent is like the smell that comes out when you burn rubber by drifting on a road covered with raspberries. The most unnecessary work of the brand. The harmony that exists in almost every Argos fragrance has definitely not carried over into this one. Unfortunately, the Christian Petrovich magic is missing here. The perfume shouldn’t be called Bacio Immortale, it should be called DRIFT instead. Isn’t there anyone in Greek mythology who does drifting? 😄

Nothing but dill pickles. Maybe I received a bad bottle but this is a lingering strong dill pickle smell. I know some say Santal 33 smells of pickles and I get that subtle pickle smell from Santal33 but BI has it beat by miles. If you worked at a dill pickles factory I would imagine this is what you come home smelling like. Awful. Edit: totally different on my skin. On skin it’s 100% better. The fruity notes stand out far more on skin. I take back the awful and replace it with much better. 6/10

I don't get any leather or sweet fruitiness whatsoever. Rather, it smells "green", almost like how salad tastes, with some white floral undertones. Feels like male cologne.

Honestly this smells like you’ve just took a giant turd in the toilet and you haven’t flushed yet.

Bacio Immortale’s notes come together to all somehow remind me of a salad in the opening like another commenter stated, but for me I get specifically the orange, creamy French dressing. The birch tar seems to be creating that effect with its greenness, and it remains throughout but discreet after the opening for me. The leather does come through and is also smooth. The composition is just very unique. I get the FDB Milano comparison, as both are fresh savory. However, something in Milano, maybe the rosemary, really made me nauseous. With this, I can take deep nose breaths and be completely fine with no uneasiness. This will definitely be a layering fragrance for that extra edge and to take any fragrance, especially my basic profiles, to a different level if I feel like being in that mood and to avoid boredom. 30 mL is the perfect size for this purpose. This is smooth but surprisingly too much of a great performer to spray after when layering. It also doesn’t get lost when I spray another fragrance over it, but this will be the order of application. I have been looking for a leather fragrance and the bottle is beautiful. Update: In the very far dry down for me, I can pick up a sweet powdery raspberry with a sort of dewy but airy, clean, violet with its leaves. The violet appears earlier and earlier with each use and creates a very fresh and clean leather. I read the description of the violet leaf note and ozonic, fresh, watery, cucumber-like are all very accurate. That explains exactly what I’ve been smelling. Even layering with sweet scents, the fresh violet comes through and allows it to work when it’s warmer out. I love this more and more when I wear it. I was curious about Memo French Leather, which is also a very fresh but this time pink rosy leather, but I’m glad I got this even though I like both.

I never knew until today that Bacio Immortale was reformulated in 2025 with a blue bottle. I have the old version, the gold bottle, and this review is for that version... Bacio Immortale is one of those fragrances that I can't get enough of... it's not a designer styled fragrance in it's approach- that is to say it's pretty "niche" in how it smells, but it's not a super sophisticated fragrance that's hard to like either. It's almost sweet like a peach, and I guess that's the raspberry/citrus combo... but this is not an entirely solely fruity perfume. It's blended with a soft leather (which to me, of all things, almost smells green), yet the leather is not strong nor too forward, which I'm thankful for. Again, it's important to note this is the 2019 version- and I'm glad this is the one I have because I'm not a fan of leather forward fragrances. There aren't TOO many Argos fragrances that I like, but I definitely like the 2019 Bacio Immortale.

I really wanted to enjoy this one. But alas.... On my skin the opening and mid are dominantly strong pepper with light undertones of leather. On the dry down it's the same with vanilla just peaking through. I'll have to try it again to see if anything changes.

This smells like raspberry balsamic salad dressing. Nothing else. No need for the longer explanations of what this smell smells like you’re just wasting your time... Picture sour raspberry with a bit of lemon dressing. This is the exact smell of this fragrance

When people say it’s a better Tuscan Leather they’re not lying. The lemon in this adds a freshness you never realized TL was missing. It also balances the sweetness of the raspberry. This stuff is amazing.

a very soft smooth wearable leather fragrance... i hated leather so much, but this is a definite blind buy... since i had few argos , i believe in their creation. happy <3 will definitely rock this 24/7

Sprayed this and I do have to say the performance is exceptional since all day long I have been asking myself. Why does it smell like farts?? Who farte? ** in a room by myself** It is I... the farter 😔

This is my raspberry leather journey so far, Tuscan leather is more leather than raspberry, baccio immortal is the Vince versa with smokiness, paramour is Tuscan leather but sweeter and softer

Received a tester of this fragrance when I purchased Adonis Awakens. It literally smells like a green salad with some bad dressing on it. This one is not for me.

Yup this is a great alternative besides TL and GDN. This leans more GDN with the right amount of sweetness. The ash is there and comes together beautifully

Close to Tuscan leather, plus some sour raspberry at the opening. Dry down is warm and refreshing. Much better than ombre leather. Overall 8/10
