Cloud Aurora

So most definitely don’t judge this fragrance by your first impression because it may smell a little redundant at the start but the dry down is just beautiful. It’s like a perfect pink marshmallow with no syntheticness, just sweet, subtly powdery, smooth and not overpowering. As someone who never got into the yum boujee marshmallow formula, because i still felt it was too synthetic I feel like this is just done way way better. I can’t stop sniffing myself. This is the epitome of a well done celebrity fragrance. A soft gourmand that’s easy to wear not overpowering or too big of an impression but will leave you sniffing your skin all day and leaving a delicate but captivating scent trail. This is like is everything I thought plush vanilla was going to be but was ruined by the heavily synthetic sweet woody note that they use in vanilla skin too. This uses that same woody note but somehow that synthetic burnt rubberiness has thankfully disappeared. I also love how it’s a smooth cashmere, blonde woods and amber background and leaves out the musk, it does make it more linear but i actually think that that’s lquite new for arianas line as she usually doesnt do this simple or linear of a gourmand. This honestly reminds me of sooo many fragrances. It’s the exact same scent category of sweet tooth by sabrina carpenter (a perfect soft easy to wear gourmand that’s not overpowering or too edible), it has something reminiscent of the cotton candy almost bubblegum note of candied fantasy by britney, the woody note from plush vanilla but done so so much better and no syntheticness and then lastly the clean almost fresh base of cloud intense 2.0. This is the quintessential celebrity fragrance and I think it’s going to be a hit.

This doesn’t smell like any of the other Ariana Grande Cloud fragrances. It’s a much creamier take on the Cloud DNA rather than a direct flanker. For reference, my favorite in the Cloud line is Cloud Pink, so take that into consideration as it relates to my taste. Aurora doesn’t smell like Yum Boujee Marshmallow or 7 Virtues Strawberry Jam because it lacks that prominent strawberry note, but I’d put them in the same fragrance family. It also isn’t like Phlur Vanilla Skin or Ariana Grande Plush Vanilla, as those lean smokier, while Cloud Aurora is much creamier and softer. Again, they’re in the same family, but they aren’t duplicates. I even pick up a little overlap with Kayali Vanilla Rock Sugar, though Aurora doesn’t have that honeyed sweetness, so it comes across smoother and more understated. The magic really happens in the dry down. It settles into a sweet, creamy skin scent that’s soft, cozy, and intimate. At the same time, there’s a subtle plastic-doll quality to it in the best way. It’s a smooth, slightly synthetic creaminess to it that’s intoxicating. While it shares qualities with several popular vanilla fragrances, it still feels distinct and unique enough to justify owning. If you enjoy any of the fragrances I mentioned, Cloud Aurora is absolutely worth checking out.

This feels like what Glinda would wear in Wicked For Good. It’s the most mature and sophisticated version of Cloud. I would say it’s a blackcurrant perfume first and foremost. I get a lot of a non-medicinal berry and feminine woody notes for most of its wear. It dries more into a soft gourmand and it takes a while to get that marshmallow fluffiness. It feels shy, but thoughtful. It is on the more complex side for Ariana’s fragrances which are usually quite mass appealing. As each hour passes you do get a slightly different note being the main focus. Do I wish they went further with leaning into the creamy dessert notes? Yes and I think it would be more popular too, but I’m still quite happy with how this one turned out. Of Ariana’s other fragrances, to me it feels the most like an updated version of Moonlight more than Cloud. This is the first version of Cloud that I feel like does not have the same DNA as the original. I still feel like Cloud Aurora embodies the idea of Cloud in that it’s a light fluffy easy to wear fragrance, but it just doesn’t fall in line with this particular line. I would suggest this for Mod Vanilla and Cherry Eclipse fans before Cloud comes to mind.

i didn't expect to love this perfume as much as i do, but I do. the smokiness really comes out on my skin, almost turning it into a warm, spicy note. it reminds me a lot of tabac rouge by phaedon actually, which is quite a pleasant surprise for me considering the price point of TR. i think this flanker is the most interesting out of the cloud series, based purely on how different it seems to smell on everyone! both this and cloud intense morph into something much more rich and mature on me, so it's been quite fun to read others reviews about how sugary sweet or marshmallowy it is as i personally don't experience any of that! i'm very pleased with the longevity on this one. the other clouds have poor staying power, with intense lasting longer though when i spray it before bed and wake up the next morning it's gone. aurora on the other hand stuck around for over 12 hours! dry down comes through as vanilla playdough for me, but i enjoy that.

I wanted to come back and say ...This is a soft but lingering fragrance and great for layering with so many gourmands or other scents that need a sweet boost, that's what I like about this, it can be mixed with the other Clouds too, to elevate them to your liking. This is the newborn BABY CLOUD , of the Clouds. I def was not a fan of the Cloud Intense it had a masculine take. Anyhow, Im glad this doesnt have anything too close to the original dna...as ppl may have wanted, but come on we got something different ha! @devins_advocate , This doesn't smell nothing like moonlight or Mod vanilla , no way loves. My opinion. But Nebra's white bottle maybe. Plus the juice will get richer as it sits...these bottles are quite new too. Nothing like : libre 's , plush vanilla (PHLUR SKIN), Ari moonlight , sol 59 , clean whipped cherry ., Yara elixir ( HECK NO ) fix your noses lol THINK WHITE RABBIT CANDY.

I am a 44-year-old woman and still I love Ariana Grande perfumes... and Cloud Aurora might now be my favorite. At first spray, I get Cloud DNA and blackcurrant, and this quickly develops into something very similar to YBM. Definite marshmallow notes, but rainbow ones. It then melts into a delicious cotton candy. It doesn’t develop further on my skin, but that is completely okay with me, because this is exactly the dreamy, sexy, grownup cotton candy I’ve been wanting. It’s not synthetic or plasticky like a cotton candy body spray, but sweet and sugary without being saccharine. I don’t get any woods or caramel and definitely no smoke, and I don’t get anything like Cloud Pink. I don’t care at all because Aurora is that girl for me 😍 I also don’t get anything like Plush Vanilla as other reviewers have said, but that’s a good thing for me 😂 I need back up bottles immediately.

I love this ! Im a big fan of the Original Cloud and Pink one, and this new one is soft but ethereal , fluffy sweet and has a creamy slight clean woody drydown and I feel this is doesn't smell close to any of the other clouds and is an original creation, and this can be worn in most seasons and will shine in late summer , early spring and early fall. Its sweet but its not that over sweet for me and to me this is in the family as clean fluffy scents and I will say compared to Ellis Brooklyn Vanilla Rice , this is better because both are soft fluffy but Cloud is sweeter and candied and EB Vanilla rice is powdery skin, less sweet, BUT Ari Cloud A ...WINS. 8.9/10 * Mix this with CANDY DUST EDP ....thank me later!! * And I returned MEG HOT GIRL SUMMER......for this. This is better.

Seeing Im a huge fan of Cloud (gone through many, many bottles) and I have all of the flankers-THIS is my absolute favorite! It still has the Cloud DNA but is pretty different from the other versions. I get the delicious black currant with a rich amber/sugary vanilla icing combo. After settling on my skin for a while I do get some woodsy notes coming through. I absolutely LOVE this scent! This will definitely be my fall & winter fragrance and I know I’ll be getting another bottle because I do not want to NOT have this in my collection. If you’re a fan of the other Clouds and are looking for a Cloud but with a twist, this is for you. Lasts forever like the other versions. Love!❤️ 10/10

This smells like a mix between yum boujee marshmallow, plush vanilla, and cotton candy clouds. I personally don’t smell any of the original cloud dna. I think this perfume is very original in a way. It smells similar to those fragrances but it’s really its own perfume. It reminds me of opening the blue bag of cotton ifykyk, and like those cotton candy popsicles you get from the ice cream truck. I definitely think it’s worth smelling if you like cotton candy perfumes and yum boujee marshmallow. It’s probably my favorite perfume she’s came out with along with slc, ari, and vanilla suede( you can finally get it in the us from ulta online only).

Blind bought this and on the first initial spray it smelled identical to Cotton Candy Clouds by Bath and Body Works. Which is coincidence for me because I recently became a fan of Cotton Candy Clouds just last month. It’s nothing new unfortunately. Happy to have it in my collection though because it is nice. Leans more warm and smoky versus the BBW mist. On my review for Cotton Candy Clouds I mentioned it’s great to layer with Pink Woods, well, same goes for this one!

Someone said it reminds them of those mini fruity marshmallows and that is spot on! Very powdery, pillowy sweet marshmallow vanilla grounded by a smooth sandalwood. The smoke note is not strong or super noticeable but just gives the vanilla a little depth and makes it interesting. You have to spend a little time with this one on your skin. It gives generic, vanilla body spray at first but it really blooms on your skin as the hours pass.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! On initial spray I get a hint of cloud pink, but other than that it's pretty different to the other clouds to my nose! Definitely very sweet on that first spray but it dries down to this beautiful warm candy-like vanilla. I can't stop smelling my wrist when I spray this lol! Definitely reminds me of vanilla candy rock sugar by Kayali but I really don't mind because I love that perfume. My new favorite from Ariana! :)

Just tried a sample at Sephora, just two spritzes. Reminds me of a weaker version of Kayali Rock Candy. Had two people ask me what I was wearing and said they could smell me walk in the room. I haven’t had those kinds of comments from a Cloud fragrance. I’m honestly surprised at the sillage as well. Completely different from the original Cloud DNA — far more mature and less synthetic smelling. Can’t wait to buy a bottle!

Cloud OG dna minus the lavender and coconut, add in black currant and marshmallowy vanilla. It’s around 50°f where I live and is lasting well (received a compliment 3 hours into wear). I’d imagine this would be quite cloying in the heat but I wouldn’t know. Test for yourself for sure but I don’t get the comparison to Kayali YBM, even side by side. Happy to have a new version of cloud in my collection!

didn't think i was going to love it so much but it smells like so many perfumes, in a good way. it's like it took the marshmallow note from ybm, mixed with cotton candy boardwalk from bbw and added a little bit of sweet like candy + plush vanilla. this is the best cloud from the line up and i'm so happy it smells good on my skin, all the other clouds would have such a weird smelling plastic note on me

I got this as PR ahead of its release and fell in love immediately! before the notes had been officially announced, I guessed that it had notes of cherry, whipped cream, sandalwood, and amber... turns out I wasn’t too far off! in my opinion, it’s very similar to burberry her elixir—creamy and sweet but with a sensual warmth. I can’t wait to wear it more during the fall and winter!

I have never been a fan of the cloud perfumes! I’ve wanted to love them so badly but on me they were never anything special! This one though I love! To me it is a creamier nebras elixir! When I smelled it I immediately said this smells like NE! I got about 4 hrs on skin so overall I was very impressed and I def plan on buying a full bottle to layer with my NE!

I just recently bought this for my fiancée. It honestly smells amazing! For the price it’s ok. I was expecting it to be more stronger. It’s very soft, sweet and intimate. It isn’t a loud & strong smell but from the flankers, this is my favorite. Smell: 9.5/10 Longevity: 7/10 Projection: 4/10 (Intimate) Bottle: 10/10 Price: 5/10

Found this out on display in Ulta today. This is a very soft/weak skin scent. It smells cozy and decent but definitely not worth the price unless we are basing the cost on the beautiful bottle. The scent itself is fluffy, a little sweet, somewhat musky but unfortunately, pretty generic smelling with almost no projection at all.

This smells exactly like a warm and cozy winter sleepover with friends. It’s youthful, sweet and comforting. The key notes I pick up on are brown sugar, frosting, black current and sandalwood. I wish I could detect the smokiness but to me this is pure sugar and skin musks. I usually don’t go for gourmands but this is heavenly.

Wearing this tonight for the release of petal🌷🤍 An initial blast of black current makes way to a sweet frosting covered bouquet of soft flowers veiled in smoke and wrapped in spun sugar. It’s sweet in a mysterious and mature way. I love it 🥰 edit: now that I’ve listened to petal, it matches the vibe of the album perfectly

Im obsessed with this sweet candy of a scent. Wore it 3 days straight and got 8 compliments.... It lingers a sweet sexy allure ...alone , then add it to a fragrance and its magic!! 10/10 * For the 5th time .....This does NOT smell like Plush Vanilla at all....which is a copy of PHLUR VANILLA SKIN .

Yum boujee-ish, without the strawberry, and some deeper nuanced yummyness. It's really good, but was initially a little upset about the similarities. Not enough however to make you upset about having both, as this is delicious in a different way.

This perfume is so so good! I definitely pick up the spun sugar, vanilla and sandalwood notes. It’s very sweet but still wearable. Seems to be lasting quite a while on skin. I still noticeably smell it hours after spraying it on my skin. 10/10!

Bare sueded vanilla, yum boujee, the light version. Nothing more nothing less. No distinct special notes really. Good but redundant. Bare sueded is 60 bucks on sale, packs a punch compared to this.

I was not a fan of the original Cloud or its intense version, but Cloud Pink has grown on me and has become one of the few fragrances I easily reach for in my collection. With this lacking the coconut and lavender notes from the original and being mainly compared to Cloud Pink, I knew I needed to get my nose on this. At first spray the Cloud DNA is very present, and I honestly thought it smelled exactly like Cloud Pink. Though once it settles, the blackcurrant, vanilla and floral notes begin to come out and give this its own identity. After some time, it turns less candy-sweet and more woody and smoky as the base notes settle in. Becomes a skin scent after two or three hours but projection is amazing, my roommate could smell this all the way in our kitchen from my room when I had only done a spray on each wrist. Overall, it's a more floral gourmand Cloud Pink without the tropical fruit notes. Its only flaws are the blackcurrant and smoke; they bring a dark, unfittingly fruity touch that offset the rest of the notes, but they don’t bother me enough to hate the fragrance. I would not say that this is unisex at all; it’s very feminine. I do think it is a bit redundant if you already own any of the Cloud line, especially Cloud Pink, but definitely worth sampling if you enjoy those or any of Ariana's perfumes.

I want to start off by saying at first sniff it was a love for me. Later it sorta changed and I can almost smell a strawberry note in here (probably the black current maybe) which turns me off a little because on the dry down that’s all I can smell. It starts off fluffy, sugary, lots of amber, musk, and even a little bit of that smoke, but then just straight up candied strawberry in that dry down. Someone in here said candy rock sugar and I promise that’s not it at all because it doesn’t have that bubble gum note or pear which is very prominent in that fragrance. I could definitely see yara elixir being the closest comparison on here, but that one tends to dry down with a rich vanilla as to where this one is more of that strawberry after a few hours. I also don’t get cloud pink either because that one is more fruity and musky as to where this is more fluffy and candied. Everyone’s noses are different though at the end of the day and can be nose blind to certain notes.

This smelled like sweet tart dust on my skin. Sweet, candy-like, sparkly, and a little powdery. I do not pick up any smokey notes, and the woods and amber are very subtle. This is predominately a spun sugar and vanilla scent with a little tartness from the black current in the opening. This lasted for about four hours on skin and six on my clothes. Projection was intimate, I would describe it as a little more than a skin scent. Cloud Aurora has a youthful character, this would be a excellent gift for young girl who is just getting into fragrance. I rated it a 6/10 because its a likable scent, has decent performance, and the iridescent bottle is the best one in the cloud line. But this is not the most original scent and I was disappointed with the price, I think its too high for a celebrity fragrance. Overall Cloud Aurora is a like. It is not something I would purchase for myself but there is defiantly a audience for her.

As a spun sugar hater i actually really like this! Found it in ulta yesterday before the actual launch and was overjoyed. Been wearing this ever since and still can’t get enough. Projection and longevity are pretty good, I got about 8 hours before reapplying. The atomizer is significantly better than the other clouds and the bottle is very pretty. The little plushie as a gwp was adorable (stormy!) My only thing is I wish the vanilla smoke was more prominent as you kind of have to concentrate to even smell it. She gets a 7.7/10 from me🤍

This reminds me a lot of those fruity rainbow mini marshmallows. I went to the store to get some just to confirm thats what I was smelling, and i was right! It’s fluffy, very light, and sugary. I don’t get any of the original cloud dna. I do recognize the similarity to burberry her elixir that someone else pointed out, but wayyyy toned down and more powdery. Im not sure if I need this yet especially because it has no projection, but first impression, this is an inoffensive, soft, lovely, pretty unoriginal scent.

My absolute favorite from the Cloud flankers! It definitely has that Cloud DNA but it feels very cozy and lovely. I love the woodier and more ambery quality that it has - blends the sweet and warm very nicely. It's sweet for sure, but not as syrupy as Cloud Pink. I enjoy it a lot, and can imagine myself wearing it a lot on colder nights. A treat!

This is very much reminding me of toasted marshmallows! The smoke note lingers on my skin the most. It doesn't really remind me of the other Clouds at all. Beautiful iridescent bottle. It's giving "glamping with my friends while we gossip and toast marshmallows around the bonfire." Does smell similar to Plush Vanilla; definitely don't need both.

Reminds me of October 2022 , very reminiscent of the limited edition enchanted candy potion from bath and body works, feel like your holding your nose above a warm cotton candy machine but a little more sweet tarts candy. A very subtle wood note, love! Def a something that will perform better in the cooler months.

eh, i think its cute! soft, airy, sweet and vanillic. smells similar to plush vanilla, if you have her other perfumes you definitely dont need this one. straightforward sweet sugar scent :)

A juicier, sweeter version of the Cloud DNA. Like a dark berry whipped cream & molten cotton candy has been added in. Gorgeous.

So I went in store to Ulta today to try on this fragrance and I'm glad that I took the time out to go into the store and that I didn't blind by it because this one is not for me. In my opinion she's deviated from the DNA that were accustomed to finding in the cloud fragrances. I don't think this perfume is fluffy, cloud like, or marshmallowy. I'd say that it's not very sweet either, to my nose it didn't start getting sweet until about the 4th hour and at that time it's already become an intimate skin scent. On my skin this wears very floral and the note that I pick up the most is the flower petals with a hint of a watered down berry tone. It reminds me a lot of potpourri or the type of sachets that you buy to place in your drawers or linen closet. I did not like the scent until it dried down. I've had it on for about 7 hours on and it's still noticeable. Very pretty but run of the mill dry down. Sweet and nondescript. Initially, it's much more floral than I expected. It's not very vanilla or gourmand sweet on my skin. I'd say it's unisex even.

In my opinion this was a big step down for Ariana Grande fragrances, especially after coming out with the Lovenotes collection which was more mature/luxurious (but for reference I also enjoy the past Clouds, REM, and Mod Vanilla). Cloud Aurora is sugary (in a synthetic cotton-candy way) and a touch fruity from the blackcurrant, and that's about it. It wears very close to the skin. I was really looking forward to seeing how the wood and smoke notes would create some contrast but they don't exist.

I can't lie I am a bit disappointed. I had high hopes from everyone's initial reviews, and Cloud and Mod Vanilla are my favorite perfumes. I really like the opening but the dry down was a bit too sweet and almost medicinal to my nose. Absolutely gorgeous bottle though! I will stick to the original, plush notes vanilla, and mod vanilla though...

It smells quite nice and lasts very well on my skin, but there is a strange, rather prominent fruity note – especially at the top – that makes me nauseous.

It was okay, for me, it smells like strawberry jam from the 7 virtues.

I'm so sad I did not like this fragrance... not sure if something was wrong w my bottle but im not getting the vanilla sweetness every reviewer has been talking about. the first spray is in fact sweet, reminiscent of sweet like candy, but the dry down was so unpleasant I ended up returning it the same day. like I said, im so sad because I love Ari's fragrances and own most of them. maybe it's my skin chem, but I sprayed it on paper and fabric and was still not feeling it. idk, it officially releases at my ulta tomorrow so ill smell it and test it again when I go in for work

not a very popular opinion but this smells like if you took the concept of fruity cotton candy and turned it into plastic. i don't know why i'm not getting the creamy marshmallow scent people keep talking about but this just doesn't work for me. it's also very faint and doesn't last long at all. i'm a gourmand lover through and through but this doesn't hit the spot unfortunately :(

immediately try this on my skin after getting this as a gift, and it was realy nice! sweet and strong. however as it developed it began to get this sickly sweet 'berry?' note which Im really opposed to. Very medicine-y to me. However could just be my skin chemistry. not my fav.

The dry down is somewhat sweet but the opening is headache inducing and spiritually pachouli
