Mod Vanilla

I always passed on this at Ulta. Maybe because the bottle looks like a pet rock from outer space. But that was a mistake. When I finally tried Mod Vanilla, I fell in love. This is a fruity, musky, creamy, feminine vanilla that is easy to wear. Mod Vanilla wears close to the skin but it lasts a long time. She is an intimate scent but she is not a shy scent. If someone hugs you, they will smell her. This layers with everything. I have not found a combo that I disliked. Some suggestion I have are: Juicy Couture Glace, Floral Street Wonderland Peony, Bath and Body Works Wicked Vanilla Woods, Cheirosa 59. Because Mod Vanilla versatile, addictive, affordable, and now a staple in my collection, I rate her a 9/10. Mod Vanilla is very similar to 7 Virtue’s Vanilla Woods. Both are fruity vanillas with an intimate scent bubble. But I find the Mod Vanilla lasts longer and is sweeter. While Vanilla Woods has a woody and smoky base. Mod Vanilla is also similar to Cheirosa 40. Cheirosa 40 is leans tropical , projects more, and has a cigarette smell to it. They all layer together beautifully but my favorite of the three, is Mod Vanilla.

TRUST ME and when I say it I mean it - let your new bottle sit for a few months after spraying it a few times. This scent is just so beautiful and has now become my favourite everyday scent. I was so disappointed initially when I bought this but I'm so glad I waited for it to mature. It is now sweeter and bolder. This opens with a burst of sweetness and settles down to the most mouth-watering comfort mature vanilla. And someone below said the vanilla is like a warm gourmand vanilla and I so agree. it has some cloud DNA but no - mod vanilla is sweeter but also dense at the same time, she's juvenile but also mature. Cloud leans more musky and mod vanilla leans more well - vanilla but with a touch of musk. The vanilla in this is just so so beautiful and may be just in line to knock over my Kayali vanilla 28. Kayali is more woodsy and spicier but in terms of vanilla, both are very very good gourmand-rich vanillas. Actually, i like mod vanilla better since its sillage and longevity is better than Kayali. Lasts on my clothes forever and when I go outside, a good amount of sprays are enough to last me 6+ hours.

I LOVE mod vanilla so freaking much. mod vanilla and mod blush have been my signature scents for the past 2 years, since I first tried them on and instantly became obsessed. I love them on their own or layered together, but on their own Mod Vanilla is def my favorite. It's everything I want and like in a perfume. It's smells so good, clean, airy, vibrant, sparkly, fluffy, dreamy. It goes with all types of weather, places and moments. It's comfortable and intimate but also a little inviting - I get many compliments when wearing it on its own as well as layered with mod blush, and people usually compliment how easy and pleasant and unique it is, this cannot offend anyone! Really can't agree with it being similar to God Is A Woman. I have GIAW too and rarely reach for it - I find it TOO fruity, and I get tired of it easily. I do find Mod Vanilla shares something with Cloud, which used to be my signature scent before Mod Duo was launched - but Mod Vanilla is by far a much better perfume than Cloud.

I was really curious about MOD Vanilla. Owning both Vanilla Suede and Elphaba Enchanted, which I both adore, I was on the fence about getting MOD. I had heard numerous times that it is very similar to the Elphaba fragrance. Now that I have it, I can say that yes, there is some similarities between the two, which I think comes down to the plum and freesia top notes in both, perhaps the vanilla with these as well leads to the similarity claims. However, I would say this is less woody leaning than EE. It's a delightful vanilla, the musk is great and I think that it's not too heavy on the praline (which was my concern). Overall a sweet, soft and intimate vanilla fragrance in my opinion. As a male I'm finding my foray into feminine leading fragrances, and obviously Ariana's fragrances have been my gateway drug. I would absolutely purchase again.

one of the sweetest vanilla fragrances I've tried. 🤍 At first spray, it honestly reminds me of sugar water. It doesn't open with a lot of complexity. As it dries down, though, it becomes much prettier. The vanilla starts to shine, along with a soft lactonic creaminess and a light powdery finish that makes it feel much smoother. I personally don't pick up the floral notes, and I don't really get any fruitiness either. On my skin, it's all about sweet vanilla with a clean, cozy dry down. I think it's a beautiful scent, especially if you enjoy simple, sweet vanillas. That said, I can also understand why some people might find it a little generic. It doesn't feel like a particularly complex or layered vanilla. Overall, its an easy-to-wear vanilla that's sugary, feminine, and has a lovely creamy dry down.
