Moonlight

This one really surprised me, definitely my favourite from her excluding: Lovenotes (I think Vanilla Suede and Angel's Kiss are nicer) and I haven't tried GIAW or Thank U Next yet. To me this smells almost exactly like her first perfume Ari just with darker berries / blackcurrant instead of raspberry. I don't know.. they're both very light and subtle but fruity sweet. I will say Moonlight is less subtle than Ari I could smell it instantly but with Ari it takes time for me to start actually picking up on the scent properly and to pick up the raspberry in particular but once it's out it's good to go! I don't know what it is but something about this though feels like it's less perfume-like and more a very high tier body mist. For reference, I sprayed Miss So... Birthday Cake body mist and I had a very hard time smelling Moonlight on a paper strip (with numerous sprays) through the body mist like it almost blended in.. and I couldn't smell Ari AT ALL through the mist also on a paper strip. Don't get me wrong they're not the same scent at all to the body mist I used but Moonlight wasn't particularly strong it smelled like it might as well also could be in body mist form but I really like it! I don't know where I'm going with this review to be honest it's all over the place but I like it and think it often gets placed too low or always thrown in the middle of a ranking when this is actually pretty high for me.

It is the first celebrity fragrance that unexpectedly stole my heart in Douglas and I had to get it. Both with the whimsical bottle and with the delicate scent that truly resembles moonlight with its gentle glory. And I had to use it immediately after it arrived. It is so innocently sweet and alluring but it is hard to guess the ingredients. It does not remind me of marshmallows, nor is it a classical vanilla. The plums tinge the very sweet yet not too sweet blend maybe they sweeten it with their own sweetness. It is rather universal with regards to weather and time of the day. It is lovely early on and will suit a date, too. Makes me think of fairies and enchantresses. I liked it a lot on first try and was fighting the urge to get it. Now that I have it on I think I love it. After 3-4 hours it no longer projects but leaves a creamy, delicious scent on skin. It needs to be applied before you go out of home if you want anyone to feel it. But I like it so much, together with the aspect that it is so gentle you can apply it before getting in a car - I usually apply perfums at least an hour before cause I am sensitive - that I bought also Ari and Sweet Like Candy to have the entire trio in the pretty bottles. I applied it 3 times today, because of the limited longevity. Ariana should think of a refillable travel spray. But it does not eradicate my positive feelings for the fragrance.

The scent is so subtle and fairy-like. I needed something so charming and innocent in my life. Instant love. It is definitely my type, which I never explored in more details, that I developed in high school and then went for the amazingly spicy Kenzo Jungle because it was so different than everything else. It is in the vein of Moon by Oriflame and Halloween by de Pozo but gentler and sweeter. Sweet is its main feature but with gently sour notes. At first I perceived it as pure saccharine but when I wear it it is no longer the case. It is slightly powdery but it is marshmallow powder - incredibly soft, slightly woody but so well blended that it is impossible to take the notes apart. Clean and composed, too. Should be great for scent sensitive as this is barely there. Perfect for evenings and nights cause this mood is so melancholic and wistful. Missing your love on a lonely night. I find it universal weather-wise and so far the best Ariana, but I know only Rem, Cherry Eclipse, Cloud Pink and Mod Vanilla so far. 5,5 hours have passed and I still feel it on me. It is perfect as a first scent for a delicate, romantic girl. For me it is a gentle feminity and my teenage love for the night and... moonlight. My husband likes it too. At 8 hour mark I think I feel it on myself still, woody version of it but I might be mistaken it is so sheer. Still loving it.

Underrated celebrity fragrance! Moonlight is a deliciously blended Floral Fruity Gourmand scent that has a peculiar personality to it. When I first tested this scent, I wasn't entirely sure if I loved it or if I was just okay with it. However, after a more in depth analysis of this fragrance, I can safely say I love it! Moonlight is a dark twist on the marshmallow powdery fragrances Ariana Grande tends to put out, it smells sweet but striking. It's fresh, but powdery. It's an interesting profile that works on a sweet, lovely, or sexy edge that I think could work for a big amount of people of any age. I think this is a "Gothic Lolita" perfume since I actually find the plum to add maturity and coldness, but not deviate completely from the enticing and soft sweetness of the rest of the fragrance. It's such a good blend of notes that acts interestingly and deliciously. I think this could also be a unisex fragrance but it does lean fem. The opening and dry down are exquisite and all throughout the experience, the marshmallow is very present. The only downside I find to this perfume is its longevity and projection. It's very moderate to weak and doesn't last long. This perfume lasts probably about 4 hours on my skin, and I would love if there were an Intense version or to test it with a fragrance booster.

this is such a beautiful scent, it's subtle and gentle but extremely nice. the marshmallow vanilla and amber blend together perfectly into this sweet creamy scent, and the plum and blackcurrant add some depth and darkness to it. it's like a softer and more mellow version of ari; theres a similar sweet base with the marshmallow but moonlight is just a lot creamier and more 'purple' if that makes sense. this fragrance is like the exact vibe of the dangerous woman album, it reminds me of taking a lavender bubble bath in the evening and a lush bath bomb. a lot of people complained about the longevity but for me I can say it's pretty good, definitely better than the mist version that lasts for 3 minutes. I can imagine it getting stronger with time as tends to be the case with ariana's perfumes in my experience. I highly recommend, this one is super underrated but genuinely I don't see anything polarising or unlikeable in it. If you like ari and slc but want something more night-time and soft this is exactly that, although I can see it also being great for daytime and all year round. this is also kind of similar to britney spears midnight fantasy with the soapy plum note, but more creamy and floral than fruity/candy imo ♡🌫️🌙
