Pink Woods

Pink Woods is a surprisingly complex celebrity fragrance. It is sweet, with a slight herbal/woody base. Weightless but still cozy. Creamy, mildly sweet, but is grounded by the tea note. The cotton candy note is very prominent, and it comes across as elevated and airy. I usually hate vetiver but it lends an interesting texture to the fragrance. This scent has an otherworldly and romantic character to it while feeling nostalgic at the same time. It evokes the same feelings and mood that I get when watching the Never Ending Story. The projection is about an arm’s length for the first hour, but it does fade into a softer and more intimate projection. Longevity is about four hours on skin, but on clothes this lasted all day. The silage is stronger than you may think. I have been told at work several times that they can tell where I have been in the office because of my lingering scent trail. The bottle is gorgeous and minimal and I love the cost per once and how much product you get. For a layering suggestion, try Pink Woods with Phlur’s Vanilla Skin. The woods and vanilla notes are really emphasized and oddly this combo seemed to get stronger the longer I wore it. Pink Woods is often described as a dupe for Bal d’Afrique. But when wore side by side you really notice the differences. Bal d’Afrique opens crisp and fresh and smells like an expensive spa. Then it dries down to a luxurious soapy clean scent wrapped around gentle wispy florals. The opening in Pink Woods smells like I am making simple syrup, and the body of the scent smells like sugar dusted tea leaves. Both are minimalist, sophisticated, and clean smelling. Bal d’Afrique is fresher, more refined and expensive smelling while Pink Woods is sweeter, more approachable, and has better performance. Pink Woods is undeniably inspired by Bal d’Afrique, but it is not a one for one dupe, it’s more like 80% similar. I enjoy both scents, but if I have to pick a favorite, its Pink Woods. I am drawn to sweeter scents and the performance is much more impressive. This is also why I rated Pink Woods an 8/10.

Wanted to love it but...it’s a very powdery soap scent. I would wear it but I probably won’t buy it personally. It’s a weird love hate relationship. Like I want to own a small bottle but I dont want more than that haha I’ve read some people say it smells like Raid? I could see why. But it’s not like a bad thing? It kinda fades in the background Update 2-13-25: You know what?.... I bought it the travel size a couple of days ago lol. I sampled quite a few at Sephora and out of all the popular fragrances surrounding this one, I just kept going back to Pink Woods. I can’t pinpoint what the familiarity is. I read somewhere that it was similar to Heavenly by VS but I never smelled that version, I used to have Dream Angels Heavenly and I can’t remember if they are similar but something in t the back of my mind is telling me it is! Sometimes I’ll get a whiff of burnt sugar and men’s shaving cream and its smells nice lol Another thing to add, I noticed this one got released around the time I got proposed to so it’s a lil special to me. Update 2-16-25: Las night as my fiancé was opening the door for me he said “you smell good!” Yay!! Update 1/21/2026: This has got to be my all time fave perfume. I can’t seem to find anything else better than this or similar. I really want to try her other Love Notes collection but I’m so afraid of blind buying. Bal dafrique is similar but it has a very dusty, saliva, and grassy smell to it, I don’t know how to describe it. I love the notes in this so much. Update 7/23/26 I hope they make an intense version of this. I feel like it fades quick and I have to keep reapplying 😭

I live in Australia and was lucky enough to have my friend bring back a bottle for me on her trip to NYC...But wow do I have thoughts. After being SEVERELY disappointed by the Australian exclusive of lovenotes which is called "Pressed Petals" (I am rarely dissapointed by ariana perfumes) I was really afraid that I would also be disappointed by pink woods, as I watched countless mixed reviews but had also heard that this was one Ari's personal favourite fragrances from her line so I had to have it. I am so relieved to say that I instantly found this to be vastly superior to the Australian Exclusive which was an overly mature floral and lacked any sweetness, despite having a promising listing of notes. And I completely agree that this is almost identical to Bal D'afrique but with the addition of a lingering and alluring sweetness (likely from the cotton candy note). This is quite a hard fragrance to describe as I really can't pick out the individual notes but it is softly sweet, has a delicate floral and a smooth and subtle woody undertone. It's also neither fresh or warm, I feel like its perfectly in the middle. In comparison to pressed petals its still on the mature side but less offensively as the sweetness saves it from going wrong in the way that pressed petals did. I wouldn't say that this is a safe blind buy though and I don't think its designed to be a crowd pleaser in the way that her other fragrances are but I am pleasantly surprised.

I don’t have this (yet!!) but I smelt it in store yesterday, sprayed it on my skin as well as a paper strip, and I think I found a potential signature scent?! I’m from the uk so we got vanilla suede first, and I had no idea when pink woods got released in the uk but I’m so glad it did! (Apart from the fact I have to spend even more money) The perfume first opens up fresh and slightly citrusy, then around 15 minutes after spraying you get that cotton candy sweetness. The dry down is mostly tea and vetiver (almost herbal like) which reminds me a little bit of flowerbomb. I haven’t tried Byredo bal d’afrique as I’m not sure where to find it in the uk, and I’d think it would be rather expensive as well. But this is perfect for a cheaper alternative (from what I heard) and is signature worthy if ONLY it lasted longer!!! I sprayed it on me like it was a body mist when I was in store and I could hardly smell it on me 30 minutes later! To be able to smell it, I had to smell my wrists and even then the smell is faint. It may as well be a body mist. Perfect unique scent, horrible longevity & projection. If I could describe this perfume, it’s like walking into a woods, but the clouds are made out of cotton candy and there’s a thick pink fog. The air smells fresh, green, and earthy. In my opinion, it’s ok to wear year round and perfect if you’re craving a little sweetness without wearing something to overbearingly cloying

Was there a pre-2000s body lotion that had this smell? Either from a department store or like, Avon or similar. I'm not sure. I sprayed this on paper today, and I'm trying to place it. Not, like, a B&BW-type lotion that has a themed scent, but the sort where the brand of lotion just smells a particular way. It's very soft and pleasant. I can see why people say AG perfumes all smell the same. Basically all of them are vanilla, and vanilla executed in a certain way. It's as though whoever is in charge of the day-to-day in the brand (celebrities are probably busy doing other stuff) has a particular taste of what they want, and they're making an entire brand out of that particular taste. I think, though, if you're someone who also really likes that particular style, you're in great luck! ...I might just be that person lol. Update: yeah, I'm going to be getting this one. I already have plush vanilla, and this will be next on the list. I'm not even a fan of the celebrity or anything; it just smells really good to me. I wish I could smell the ones from the series in the other countries.

I will start off by stating that after having this perfume in my possession for about a good week now , that imo it’s one SEXY fragrance .... Grown and sexy that is. I noticed some of the reviews via Ulta are non favorable of this fragrance , and everyone is entitled to their own opinions , however - I will say that this perfume seems like an evolution of what was produced and marketed before hand. For me its initial fragrance comes off as a bit woody/soapy/fresh. The freshness for me is the bergamot , which then leads to a floral and candy-esque dry down that is absolutely sexy ! Not juvenile , but quite complex to my senses. Personal body chemistry , this gave me a longevity of 5 hours , which towards the end of the day I received more of the tonka note. Pink woods can definitely be layered to compliment other fragrances (fruity or floral ) ! I honestly like this one in addition to my collection ! It’s not redundant like the others and that’s why I think I will continue enjoying this one from Ariana 😍.

Okay, let's actually give this the full-on respect it deserves because this is not just an elegant perfume, it's a childhood fairytale illustration in scent form! I feel like Rose Red or Sleeping Beauty wearing this. If anyone read those My Bookhouse books as a kid, you understand exactly what I mean. This feels very gentle, weightless, cozy, and sacred like the art style of those illustrations. The Cotton Candy and Lotus create a very dreamy, mystical fantasy accord, unlike a modern synthetic-type fantasy accord you get from perfumes like Britney Spears' Fantasy. The vetiver in here adds a fresh woody base that almost has a cedar quality, but very faint to my nose compared to the other notes, spreading out the sugared lotus petals. It's all a bit aquatic, like a cozy forest at night after a light shower. Another comparison I can make for Pink Woods is the Ever After High character Apple White. This would definitely be her scent. It matches that golden, regal sweetness that she embodies.

I am 55 yrs old and I love this perfume. It smells like a mystical sweet pinkish woods. So the name is perfect. People say it is to sweet but I do not get that. Or it is to young also don’t think so. It is airy and sweet but not too sweet imo. It smells comforting, you can make a signature scent. I like perfumes to have a woody smell but not punch u in the face woody. This is a soft woody and more on well if the color pink had a smell this is the smell of pink! lol I also am not a big AG fan so this is strictly based on my nose and the mood I get when wearing this. I don’t know if it lasts all day because I get nose blind. But I know after 5 hours I was told I smelled “amazing” by a few people since purchasing. Great price and worth it. I am on my second bottle

I am obsessed with this. I've been looking for my own cashmere scent that does not project too much masculinity (it does not smell good on me if it's too male smelling) and this is it. It reminds me of a bit of DK's Cashmere Mist which I also love but wanted to get something more unique to me as my mother wears that. There is a bit more sweetness but it's not cloying or a candied smell by any means. Its soft cashmere, like a sweater on a cold day, with subtle hints of vanilla. I don't get floral, which is fine by me as most floral scents smell really putrid on me save for J'adore and Philosophy's Jasmine perfume. I just really love this scent. It's a HUGE bottle for the price. I just wish it lasted longer because holy crap, it would be damn near perfect.

update: i bought a full bottle lol. judged this way too harshly at first. i just love the sweet woodiness and versatility of this fragrance. i'm not a big fan of the rest of the AG fragrances, so i had a bias. this is different. it can probably be called 'basic' and linear, but i don't really care. it's pretty, sweet, and sexy. i’m a sweet perfume girlie so this one is pretty good for me. all i get on my skin is cotton candy initially. it dries down a bit deeper with some woodiness. i’ve never experienced bal d’afrique, but based on notes alone, it’s definitely not that. you can also get a much longer lasting cotton candy scent from many indie brands, so this is nothing exceptional to me. 7/10 sheerly for cost and longevity. not full bottle worthy.

I actually made an account so that I could write a review for this perfume because I am obsessed. The first time I smelled this perfume, I had smelled a couple others and thought it smelled very alcohol heavy in the opening. I pretty much forgot about it until I smelled my wrist and really liked the way it dried down. I tried it at a store a second time and fell in love. It's very clean and almost sophisticated but still approachable and youthful. It smells super pink but not in a fruity way its a very fresh and clean pink smell, almost powdery. The jasmine in it is so nice and the cotton candy was a perfect base to tie it all together. I am so in love with this. If you like clean pink and sweet smells, you should test it out!

Yes , I actually love this one . It doesn’t last very long and that truly sucks , if we could get an intense version that lasted I would be in heaven . I’m not sure what it reminds me of ? Something, it definitely reminds me of something. I love the sweetness of it , personally I don’t find it to be too woody , I think maybe it reminds me a little of bbw sunrise woods mixed with pink sugar ? Or it very slightly reminds me of sol de janeiro 59 . It’s lite, sweet, a little powdery , I really like it , I have never smelled the byredo perfume people say it smells like . It’s an easy reach , I could see wearing this scent anywhere, daytime wear , it has a clean laundry vibe to it, possibly the cashmere woods .

I was so excited to smell this perfume when it first dropped, unfortunately it was fall and i didn’t think i should purchase at the time bc it felt more like a spring/summer scent. I finally bought it and OH MY GOD. I knew this was a clean soapy scent but once you wear it and test it out on skin and clothes it’s so addicting. I love the woodiness combined with the sweet notes and that soapy quality. I’ve been wearing it as my daily. It replaced Cloud Pink as my daily in the meantime while i get a new bottle of it. I think it’s great value considering it’s 4.2oz instead of the usual 3 in large bottles. I can’t wait to try the other iterations in the LOVENOTES collection. Great Job on this one

I like it I bought it yesterday after sampling it in the shop. I smell the cotton candy and the cashmere. I don't get much from the other notes. The love notes DNA is clear as this is like a summer version of Vanilla Suede Good for the office ... After wearing it all week at work I have decided that I love this one. It is cosy, I get a tint of tea or bergamot when the weather is cooler in the morning but just candyfloss and cashmere the rest of the day- that should not work as a combination! But it does! The fragrance lingers close to the skin, so I don't feel like I am offending anyone nearby but I keep reapplying through the day because I'm obsessed with smelling it, it is very comforting.

This. Is. Phenomenal. As someone who doesn’t particularly jive with any of AG’s fragrances, I was initially skeptical to try another. Well consider me a convert, at least for this one. Opens with an airy, uplifting brightness of bergamot but it’s not bitter; soon the tea and vetiver peek through followed by a nice woodiness. Tonka gives a slight creaminess while the cotton candy allows for just the right amount of sweetness. This is similar (not 100%) to Bal D’afrique..same vibe. It’s mature, but not matronly. Lasts way longer than I expected especially for a lighter “clean” style fragrance. This easily could be an everyday reach, and the amount you get for cost is wild.

I am rewriting my review of this fragrance, as it has slowly but surely climbed its way to the top in terms of my favorite Ariana fragrances. This perfume is so beautiful, and the name is very fitting. Aromatic-woodsy fragrance with a slight cotton candy sweetness 🩷🪵🍬🫧. I love the bergamot note in this as well. One of the reviews said it smelled slightly of pink lemonade and I totally agree! This is very similar to the rare beauty find comfort fragrance, and I love layering the rare beauty lotion and body mist with this perfume. This perfume also fits every season as well. Hats off to Ariana and her fragrance team!

Pink Woods isn't as sweet and youthful as most of AG's fragrances, so I can see how that may be off-putting for some. This is more sophisticated and sort of clean-ish while still having a touch of that signature sweetness and fun her fragrances are known for.... It's fresh, citrusy and woody, but the cotton candy presents strongly on me upon drying down. Imagine walking through a forest of cotton-candy topped trees on a breezy, damp day. The name of this fragrance suits it 100%. Update: After wearing for a few hours, I realized what Pink Woods reminds me of - Fine'ry's Before the Rainbow. It must be the bergamot.

Oh so Zen, I love how earthy and aquatic pink woods opens! It makes you feel relaxed with the lotus flower and tea notes creating a spa like experience. The bergamot allows it to have some zest and zip that energizes your mood. Once the jasmine and vetiver kick in, it takes on the perfumey aspect that creates a more enveloping, and smooth trail. Once you reach the base notes, you're welcomed with a woody and sweet earthy Tonka bean, it almost smells like honey to my nose, rather than spun sugar. I really love this from Ariana, its a welcomed addition to the collection and has a more adult feel.

When I first smelt this product, I didn't love it- it smelt like many other fragrances, and didn't come off as pleasant. I went back to it 3 months later and completely fell in love, the way it settles on my skin is amazing. I am almost about to finish my bottle of this fragrance. I don't pull a lot of the woody notes on my skin. To me, it's a very sweet floral that settles very nicely. It reminds me a lot of Bath and Body Works Sweet Pea fragrance, while being more mature and sweet. This is a very different buy from AG's previous fragrances, but I do think it is a safe blind buy.

The bottle caught my attention at Sephora. It was right along side the Cloud fragrances so the simple bottle stuck out. Another point was that the tester was almost finish and this is 4.2 oz per bottle. I sprayed it and rapidly grabbed a bottle. Reminds me SO much of the Find Comfort Rare Beauty body spray! It smells rich, expensive, and very sophisticated. The Rare Beauty is a stunning smell, but doesn't last very long due to it being a body spray. If you have smelled that and love it, try this fragrance. And actually, the bottle being 4.2 oz is amazing. You can spray and spray!

This is so similar to Clean Reserve Skin on me. Like almost identical. I get the sweetness from the cotton candy very prominently but it's not overwhelmingly sweet like in Pink Sugar. I wish that I get more of the jasmine, tea and woodiness. This does not smell like Rare Beauty Find Comfort or Bal D'Afrique to me. This is my first time wearing it, so will see how it changes. I do love it so far. It's a pretty, clean girly scent. I find it pretty strong as well. Will see how it lasts. The packaging is nice and sleek. SO classy.

Absolutely gorgeous! I did not expect to like this perfume so much as i'm not into celebrity fragrances but to me it smells magical and i've bought it immediately - it is soft, feminine, a bit woodsy. There is a violet note i smell which is not listed in the pyramid. I really like it! So much so that i bought a lotion to pair it with and i only do this with perfumes i love. The bottle is really simple and nice, sprayer is awesome, you get 125ml and it has a decent lasting power for what it is. Couldn't be happier! 👌🏻

This scent is how it feels when you and another person have expressed your love for each other, and you have decided to keep it between you two as a wonderful temporary secret until you’re ready to share with the world. Soft, youthful love that gives you butterflies and where you forget everything else in the world but the other person. Yes I did get teary and emotional when I smelled this for the first time LOL. You’ve really done it this time miss Ariana !!!

I tried this in the store and it reminded me of something I couldn't pinpoint then I realized this definitely smells like a sweeter more feminine version of Bal d'afrique or vibrant vetiver delight. It's really pretty and when I sampled it in store it lasted all day on my skin so tie longevity is really solid .. so it lasts longer than Bal d'afrique but yes it's more feminine rather than unisex. I think it's really elegant.

This is just gorgeous. Say what you want about Ariana, but the girl knows fragrance. As far as celebrity perfume goes she has quite a few hits. When I first sprayed this, I was worried because it smelled like nail polish remover lol, but the dry down is where the magic happens. This is a very comforting, sweet, citrus, cotton candy, tea scent. I truly love it. Idk, it just works. Sample it on skin, not on paper.

i didn't want something overpowering today and this was so good as a choice for me, its just the perfect clean, sweet, airy, fluffy cotton candy scent. It last all day for me but it is not the strongest projector but it does leave a scent trail! Also side note I don't like much from victorias secret but the sugar sky, smells like the new ariana grande pink woods minus the woods from this I love them both!

This is so obviously a dupe for Victoria Beckham's Portofino'97, and a pretty great one at that! I have Portofino'97, and I adore it, but this is almost just as good! It's slightly sweeter and warmer than Portofino'97, but realistically, the average nose would not be able to tell the difference between the two. Portofino'97 is $300 for a 3.4oz bottle and this is $80 for a 4.25oz bottle for reference.

I’ve literally only spent an hour with this perfume, I couldn’t figure out what it was. It reminded me of until I bought a full bottle and headed home. It’s definitely Bal d’afrique. I have three bottles of that at home because I never wanna run out lol. However, it’s Bal, but she sprinkled some sugary cotton candy in it, just a hint. Makes it warmer Kind of genius. I’m keeping it.

I actually love this. They had a sample that I sprayed on my wrist at the mall the day that I went to buy Mod blush. When I got home, I couldn’t stop sniffing my arm and now I wish I got this one instead. Mod blush is fine, but this one has a more elegant level to it. More grown up and less candy. The woods are soft and not really woody. Smells cozy like a cashmere sweater.

I’ve only tried it once when I was at Sephora. It is pretty much Bal D’Afrique, but watered down. I have Bal D’Afrique, but I quite enjoyed this too. It does lack depth or complexity, but I love how soft it is. It’s clean and comforting. Although not original, I think she did a good job with transitioning to a more mature scent/fragrance demographic.

I immediately fell in love omfg. Imagine wearing a soft sweater and spraying this all over you because that's such a vibe. It honestly smells magical, like a candy forest or something. Literally what the word "dreams" smells like if you know what I mean. It just smells like you're in a dream where you're walking on pink cotton candy clouds

her most mature fragrance. as a huge fan with all of her fragrances except thank u, next 2.0 i can confirm this perfume is exactly what i was looking for. definitely long lasting, even after a long period exercising, the perfume won’t come off. i’ve used it a few times and i absolutely love the smell of this mssterpiece.

I don’t usually like sweet fragrances because they typically make me feel sick, but I love this one. The sweetness of the cotton candy is balanced out really well by the woodiness of the vetiver. On me, this perfume smells sweet, cozy, and fresh. I started off with a travel spray, used that up, and bought a full bottle.

travel size arrived today and i'm obsessed- sweet but not overwhelming! dried down it smells very fresh- almost like clean laundry but in the best way. ariana fragrances are typically really nice (mod vanilla is my absolute fav) but she really did it for me with this one! def a new go-to fragrance <3

One of Ariana’s best fragrances. This smells GOOD. A little basic, but there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s comforting, woodsy and jasmine, not a lot of sweetness here. It’s like a warm hug on a cold day. Nothing sophisticated, but it doesn’t need to be. Perfect dumb reach for fall and winter.

Just got this.. Versatile scent that I think is universally likable. Sweet, but not overwhelming. The woodsy element comes through but not in an overbearing way. It leans more female, but could definitely be unisex. Love it! Wish it lasted a bit longer but that’s my only issue

Oops! I bought this on accident off mercari Happy accident Sprayed it and first thought it was .."meh". BUT as it dried down throughout the day I kept getting gentle wofts. It is a nice sweet easy to wear daily fragrance. SO cheap for a huge bottle.

I became obsessed with the Rare Beauty Find Comfort products and have been super bummed that there isn't an EDP to match. But then I was shopping and sprayed this on and immediately bought it. It is so soft and cozy but not super vanilla. Love it!

Though I do love the scent and the scent profile is right up my alley, this was a complete waste of money imo. This has to be the weakest fragrance I own and I have a decent size collection. After the initial spray, it disappears within an hour.

At this point, I don’t believe Ariana can make a bad fragrance. This is simply gorgeous. Floral, woody. I get a peppery note on my skin, which I love. I will repurchase this till the day it is no longer available.

Got this as a gift without ever smelling it before, and it is absolutely delicious smelling. <3 It feels like a summer day shopping. Reminds me of the album "For lovers" by Lamp and that is a BIG compliment!

Bright & fresh & decadent at the same time. Uniquely addictive. At first spray it seems like such a simple scent profile but the more it sits & dries down the more beautiful & dimensional it becomes.

this came in the mail today! and wow! it's soft and sweet, not overpowering sweet, a light floral, gourmand. I get a whiff of cotton candy. Thank you ARIANA for another delicious-smelling perfume!

This is great, I love it layered with Byredo Seven Veils or it's dupe Seven Secrets. Just kinda balances out the spices with the sweet woods. Thank me later~
