Tuesday

This was a blind buy success for me. I was hoping for a bit more of a sweet guava note. It also layers amazingly with Granita from Aziri (a beautiful, sweet melon scent) which gives me that little bit of extra sweetness I was looking for. This is stunning on its own though! On the initial spray you get a fresh and invigorating burst of mint, tea and maybe a touch of basil. The opening is very green with a slight sharpness. As it dries down the other notes join in and it mellows out. The notes are so beautifully intertwined, it’s very difficult to pick them out individually. This is a calming, relaxing, yet uplifting concoction that will be absolutely amazing for a hot summers day. I do get the vibe of being somewhere in the mountains, relaxing by a beautiful lake on a fresh sunny morning. It definitely has that nature/spa type of vibe. Very unique and perfectly unisex. I really loved the personal, handwritten message from Arielle Shoshanna which I thought was such a lovely touch. This really is a stunning masterpiece! I do with Arielle Shoshanna sold her products to the UK though. I used a forwarding company who definitely ripped me off, as the shipping was more expensive than the perfume itself. I also don’t love the bottle cap, although it does stand out and is also unique and fun I guess.

A new favourite day of the week. And my favourite niche of all: the spa scent. Tuesday is liquid, crisp, reviving. It starts with bright-green basil and mint, which mirrors the acidity of Friday’s lemon-lime. An hour later the greens settle into raw ginger and a clear, greenish tea. This is where it also takes on a tangy, convincing guava. It’s a ton of fun. My other favourite spa scent – Régime des Fleurs’s Cacti – imagines a much more languid spa than Tuesday. Cacti is a gentle caress, floating in the shallows of a leafy meditation garden. Tuesday is a steamy deep tissue massage, followed by a cold plunge into an infinity pool of jeweled mosaics. Think less Ritz Carlton and more W Hotel. Longevity is also robust (>12h on my pyjama t-shirt). The vivid, aqua-cerulean of the vessel describes the scent perfectly, even though the day Tuesday has always felt periwinkle to my synesthesia. (Rooting for a mango-orange Thursday). Mental Snapshot: A rooftop lounge, high above the rabble of the city, glass panels vibrating with ambient house beats. A sanctuary for relaxation and reinvigoration, a healing house for hangovers and heartbreak. This is a spa that serves mojitos, in addition to hot matcha. tl;dr: neon onsen 🦋🌱

Absolutely lovable scent. Your beautiful wife comes back from the farmers market with a bouquet of flowers, fresh seasonal fruits, mint, a basil plant, and some cute homemade soaps. The smell fills the kitchen abundantly. You plant the basil in a little terracotta pot by the window and chop some up with mint to make lemonade. Life is good. You drink on the fire escape together, the breeze is cool, the summer feels endless. Calming, herby muddled basil mint, citrussy, guava, fresh realistic lime. This scent is so bright, aromatic, and realistic. Unfortunately, like many fresh mint scents, this fragrance has very poor longevity. Friends smelling it noted: fresh, light, airy, raindrops, one association with christmas (I think because of the citrus) and liked it.

Really love this scent and it is definitely my favorite from this line (which I really love the bottle designs of btw) it is fresh and green, starts off strong with the mint and guava and settles a little more into the tea and grassy notes. It’s a very green fragrances but, it is not a green tea perfume, definitely more of an herbal tea, which I don’t mind and it makes it a little more interesting to me. I love a green, leafy scent and this is a nice alternative to some of my weirder fragrances while still satisfying my desire for unique, fun and fresh scents.

A refreshingly green and herbal spa like tea scent. It opens with a sweet and fresh basil paired with mint that never feels too sharp or sweet like a lot of mint notes tend to be. The sweetness here comes from a pulpy guava that has a tinge of tartness to it too. Then you get the tea, and it’s richly aromatic, with the guava still headstrong and the mint following. The dry down is an earthier tea with vetiver now, with remnants of soft mint and sweet guava. A fun combination of notes that feels perfect for Tuesday as a day of the week.

Mint and basil, with a taste of tropical fruit. I have found my day, and it is Tuesday. Great job Arielle! The more I wear this one, the more I love it. Refreshing and spirited. The minty herb combo lasts in the drydown, which is really unusual for these types of scents. Highly recommend.

Imagine you’re floating above a bed of gunpowder tea and minty river water. The guava fruit pits are at the bottom of the river. You are being brewed. Smile and be grateful.

Green in a beautiful way. It smells like you just crushed some mint and basil in your hands. The moist soil, the freshness, it's incredible.

It has a super brief (not unpleasant) cleaning chemical note on the opening but that disappears so fast that I don’t really care! It smells super fresh, bright, and green. Makes me smell like I work full time at Lush but only use their more herb/ylang ylang products on myself. It’s very uplifting and wearing it makes me feel like I have my life together. A very optimistic scent.

I get guava sticky rice. The aromatic basil and coconut water makes this fragrance fresh, but there’s a cozy warmth that sticks around making something gourmand lovers would also wear. I could see someone enjoying this on a crisp morning walk on the beach or at an outdoor breakfast cafe. Unique and Pleasant.

Another short-lived mint scent. I hoped the other notes would help carry it further, but it faded quickly. It is pleasant to wear, with a clean crisp opening that fades into a sweet laundry scent. If anyone has smelled Laundry Sauce's Oregon Mint scent, it's a bit like that.

i want to drink this one so badly!!!! the most uplifting and refreshing cocktail; crisp and invigorating, but not spicy at all thanks to miss guava <3 definitely a summer scent, perfect for a hot, tropical vacation (or after the most thorough everything shower)

A lush mint basil salad. Genuinely upset about how disappointing this was to me in terms of quality and longevity. I have body sprays that have lasted and projected more :( I adore the opening, but it vanishes into nothing so astonishingly quick. You'd think for what they're charging it'd be better quality... And it isn’t me going nose blind, my mother couldn't smell it on me anymore either.

Very grassy + lemon/orange peel/citrus. I feel like I’m in an herb garden, peeling an orange or lemon and can smell the peel on my hand. On my skin it’s a bit sweeter. I can appreciate citrus but but citrus forward is not very “me.”

This is so interesting. I don’t have anything like this. It starts off with basil, mint, guava peel and settles on herbal notes. Not sure I get tea, which I was hoping for though.

a little *too* green & spicy for me. it smells like a headshop but not as heavy. or like an herb garden on steroids.

I think this fragrance has made it officially clear that I don't know what a spa or refreshing fragrances smell like. This is one of the few perfumes that have all but one note that I've experienced in real life and intimately know what each note smell like. All of these notes sound great, but the cacophony that is this fragrance smells anything but. This perfume is only a hair better than Noyz Sh**ty Day. On first spray, it is very strong. The mint is soft and mixed with something sweet and chemical. Nothing smells herbal. Then 3 hours later, this becomes a skin scent. The skin scent smells like a green fragrance mixed with some type of vanilla.

Top notes are evident first on: a green, fresh be-dewed garden of herbs in tropical morning damp. Crisp, cool, green green green. Realistic and very nice. Makes me think of cold California mornings walking from the hotel to the theme park in clothes that aren’t quite warm enough yet. The flowers and plants along the walk are tall and lush in the cold early morning sun. It fades fast, but I love that summery springy garden walk feel.

I dewy green minty delight. While it's probably only my third or fourth favorite Arielle Shoshana fragrance, I enjoy this quite a bit. On a really hot summer today, it's nice to have such a breezy, fresh fragrance to wear. This is minty, green, herbal and almost astringent. For those who want to smell like muddled mint, fresh air, calming green tea and squeaky clean skin.

It very much has all the notes listed, but my top 3 would be basil, citrus, and vetiver in the drydown. It is a perfect spa scent and I would love to have this as a hand cream to keep in my purse year-round.
