Art Du' Parfum

Armaf Art Du Parfum begins with a promise, a flourish of notes that hint at adventure, passion, and hidden stories waiting to be told. The opening is vibrant and intriguing, a tapestry of florals and spices that beckons one to linger, to imagine distant lands and quiet corners where secrets and dreams intertwine. There is a warmth here, a gentleness that feels human, almost intimate, as if the fragrance itself carries a narrative just beyond the reach of words. Yet as the hours pass, the heart of the fragrance softens too quickly. The depth that seemed imminent becomes muted, leaving a lingering sweetness that, while pleasant, lacks the richness and complexity that one hopes for in a perfume of such promise. It feels as though the story begins with energy but closes without the resolution one yearns for. I give it three stars because Art Du Parfum carries moments of beauty and charm, yet does not sustain its initial intrigue. It is a fragrance of fleeting inspiration, a whisper of what might have been.

I've been testing it over the last couple of days and 'a more wearable and versatile' Sauvage Elixir seems about right. Performance was very decent from the start - especially on clothes -, but it will be interesting to see how this one will develop after some maceration. No complains for 22 Euros, apart from the slightly leaky sprayer (Armaf really need to work on that!).

Sweet, woody and wonderful! I absolutely love this perfume so much. Doesn't take much and lasts a long time. So very worth it if you love sweet cedar scents. As a dupe or clone, don't care, didn't know & Dior it is not. As a standalone it's beautiful for the price. 🧡 9/10 Would buy again.

This is the Closest you're gonna get to Elixir and it's sickenly close.. Now let's just hope it outperformes Asad and all the other sub clones. 9/10

Finally this is added. Best and Very close alternative to Dior Sauvage Elixir. Very strong and lasting.

I like this waaaay more than Asad, haven't smell actual elixir so i can't attest to the similarities, but this is similar to Asad so i guess it is similar. This is more aromatic than Asad is, the lavender is very present in the dry down, when i smelt Asad i didn't even feel like this DNA was remotely close to Dior Sauvage, but when Art du Parfum dries down i can definetly see the connection, the DNA is very present, it reminds me of Sauvage Parfum. I get 8 hours+ on skin, unmacerated bottle 2023 batch. Projection is really strong for 3 hours, then it settles down but it never really goes to skin scent. This is a really mature scent, but anyone can rock it, this will remind you of 80's powerhouse fragrances like Ted Lapidus Pour Homme and Drakkar Noir, very classic fougere scent Scent: 9/10 Longevity: 8/10 Projection: 9/10 Cost: $30 is a great deal, but it can go for upwards of $60, it is still worth it since Armaf has way higher quality than lattafa but if not just go for Asad which is always like $20-$25.

Somewhat old-fashioned, mature masculine white collar scent good for office or formal situations. Or outdoors as it is pretty potent. Hard opening but the dry down is smoother. Nutmeg is the strongest note but I get some lavender and ginger too. Woody, aromatic, earthy, warm spicy and vanilla in the background (though more than just a hint). Wouldn’t suggest it as a safe blind buy, could take some getting used to for some. Strong performance. Cool artwork but bottle not practical for spraying. I’m sure there is someone out there in Fragranticaland that votes ‘female’ for every single fragrance regardless, but this is not in any way feminine.

It does smell quite similar to Elixir, just imagine a much more simplified profile with a bit more nutmeg and a bit less cohesiveness overall. That doesn't mean that this is a bad fragrance, just that Elixir is more smooth and works better as a whole while Art du Parfum is honestly a bit louder, due to some sharpness in the scent profile. It can be overwhelming when first applied, but it's worth letting it ride it out for a couple of hours to see what you think of it. If you like Elixir, go for it. There's not much to lose. P.S. Two sprays on a shirt lasts the entire day.

Haters gone hate, but anyone thinking this doesn't smell around 9/10th's Sauvauge Elixir is smoking crack. Does it last as long? Of course not. But 8 hours is very reasonable, and the blend being smooth makes this a handy and cheap substitute for Elixir. Decent effort by Armaf, allows me to stretch out the life of my OG bottle and nobody has noticed yet! 7/10

Dior Sauvage Elixir Sweet Clear&Clean Ver.

so weak no projection nor longevity never smelled the original sauvage elixir so i dont know if its similar to it but it smells real good but as i said its so weak will post another review after maceration

hello again second try after maceration for like 7 weeks nothing changed the performance is still zero

First Armaf in a couple of years and this reminds me why I am no longer in a rush to try their dupes. Yes this is Sauvage Elixir - but it is only the shell of that fragrance in the air and especially on skin. Incredibly harsh. Incredibly synthetic. Incredibly lacking in quality. One dimensional with no real depth. Far better sticking to the small clone houses if you are in the UK - this is mass-produced low level stuff that doesn't deserve the love it seems to get from influencers and paid for reviews. Armaf aren't even trying now.

I just love these kind of smell. Thers something peppery to me, although thers no pepper. There's something fresh and masculine at the same time. From moment you spray its potent and seductive. Very good projection and longevity. I'll re buy it definitely

Purchased this one just to check it out. I have the original Dior Sauvage Elixir so will be fun compare this to the original. Purchased Latafa Asad as well to try both of them against Elixir. I’ll get back when I have tried them vs Original.

Again with the polarizing reviews... strong as f... weak as f... come on this is just getting stupid here to have such opposite views on longevity and sillage leading me to believe reformulations or knockoffs from places like eBay or amazon
