Bucephalus X

#1444 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Although I have pretty much every EDP and Parfum of Invictus, it's just so commonplace at this point that I don't reach for it, and it's never been a favorite for me. You could say this is like "Invictus Victory" (more than it's like original "Invictus"), or you could say Montblanc "Legend Spirit", or Lataffa "Najdia", or Rasasi "Hawas" and not get much of an argument from me. But with the myrrh note I really have to cast my vote for Rabanne "Pure XS." To this day I don't get Rabanne not producing an EDP and Parfum version of "XS" for men. It really is Rabanne's best scent. [Miris makes a dupe of Pure XS, #2821, that's EDP strength and pretty good.] This is a bit closer to an EDP of Pure XS, and I prefer it to the Invictus Victory, but it still wouldn't be a go-to for me. Like most scents in this category you can wear this in any environment. The myrrh isn't strong enough that you need to worry about it being too much in close spaces. Moderate performance, definitely not unisex, makes it to lunch no problem, but fades by mid-afternoon as most freshies do, though thanks to the myrrh it holds on better than most. I am definitely wearing this for a lunch date today with a woman who knows her fragrances. We'll see what she thinks it smells like. My guess is she'll think it's Invictus like everyone else.

No surprise, it is definitely a clone of Invictus however with a milky/creamy note. Just imagine if Invictus came in a body lotion / cream form it would smell exactly like Bucephallus X. Projects good for first 2 hours before forming a scent bubble of half an arm length. Lasts 7-8 hours on skill easily.

This is my first ever purchase of an Armaf perfume, having previously read so many rave reviews about this company. My overall impression after three weeks of trial is that Bucephalus X does not quite fulfil its promise. The balance of ingredients is nice enough, it has the sweetness of a fruity concoction. I cannot understand however how it can be considered as a summer frag. I wore it for half a day on a sunny... winter day and within 2-3 hours the scent was completely gone, dominated by that of sweat! It was not even an overly humid day and like I mentioned, it was winter and I don't sweat profusely. As a "gym smell" worn just after an indoor exercise session, I found its results to be much better. It also smells great on clothing. But under hot, humid conditions? No way. Also projection is virtually non-existent, on top of the poor longevity I described above. Probably one that will end up being gifted to a relative. Thankfully I got it at a 30% discounted price, hence no major regrets.

Would be easy for me to just join the bandwagon and say it smells like invictus.... Caus surprise!! It dose 😂, but then it went and evolves from sweet bubbelgummy fresh... and goes all smooth and creamy.. I realy liked this and The bottle is a bit funny.. All that Flashyness for a young fresh F-k boi perfume So do one need this? Yes you do iff you dont have invictus that is.. Just buy this and get s cool horsie head bottle to show your friends 😱 and smell fresh and sweet 👍

Armafs version of invictus and hawas. not a bad clone considering its price tag but lattafas najdia beats them all with the price/quality point ratio
